Guest Eornostlice
Kason was fairly prompt in calling for a cab but he did not like the way that the fox's ears always flattened. He did not want Fisk to be uneasy, enjoying his smile much more. As he gave out the address, his fingers contantly tickled and stroked at the ears, trying to cause them to perk up at least a little bit. It was a strange yet sort of addicting type of gesture. The taxi was to get there in about five minutes.
Kotorichan
Fisk's ears began to perk up as they were played with. The fox leaned into the touch, his eyes closing as he managed to relax. It really felt so nice to be touched with affection like this. After just a few moments he was almost completely pressed into Kason's chest, his tail wagging shyly. It had been so long that he had felt like he was touched with genuine care.
Guest Eornostlice
Cat-like. That was the first thing that Kason used inside his mind to describe the little shy fox in front of him as he cutelly wagged his tail, finally looking actually relaxed, his closed eyes telling him exactly that. The ibexdid worry that his gesture was a bit too familiar yet he kept repeating it but perhaps it was exactly what Fisk needed. He did not need a stranger but someone to care, right? He was still figuring it all out and trying to be patient. The brunette ruffled the smaller man's hair once more. "Should I sleep in your room for tonight if you don't feel safe alone? I will lay down another mattress for myself." He kept his voice gentle and warm also not wanting to impose on the fox but just trying to get him a little more comfortable. Kotorichan
"W-wouldn't that be a bother?" Fisk's eyes opened and moved up to Kason's face. "What is I accidentally wake you up? And wouldn't it be uncomfortable to sleep on the floor?" He really didn't want to sleep alone, he hated being alone. But he also didn't want to inconvenience his new friend. Guest Eornostlice
Kason chuckled at the storm of questions, getting his own answer indirectly. "I do not mind nor is it uncomfortable. It is settled then. If you are unable to sleep, I want you to wake me up, understand? That is what I really wish for. Think you can do it?" He was truly taking all neccesary measures to ensure that the running away episode would not repeat, especially not in the middle of the night. By all means, Fisk needed to get used to the new place. Kotorichan
"O-okay, if you're really okay with it." Fisk's ears flickered, flattening for a moment. "B-but if it gets uncomfortable then you'll just move back to your own room right? And I'll be able to sleep... I wouldn't want to wake you up after everything you've done for me today. I don't want to be a burden even when you're sleeping..."
Guest Eornostlice
"You aren't a burden." Playfully the ibex grabbed both of the fox's ears with the tips of his fingers, gently raising them up half an inch. Perhaps he had been asking for too much for now so it was time to gove an inch. "But alright. I understand. If I find that I am uncomfortable I will go back to my bed. I promise. But it won't happen." Fisk was truly frail and sensitive to other people's feelings. All that Kas wanted was for him become a little more selfish.
Kotorichan
Fisk's ears twitched in his hands and slowly stood up. "Okay, a-as long as I'm not causing you any problems." He finally gave a slight smile, relieved that he wouldn't be a burden to the ibex. He leaned up and nuzzled Kason's hands, his tail starting to wag again. "Um, do you think the taxi will be here soon..?"
Guest Eornostlice
He was about to answer as he felt his phone buzz in his pocket, with him having received a text message. The ibex paused and checked it out, his other hand still there to pat and play with the ears, before looking right back to Fisk. "It seems that it is already outside. Let's go home alright? Connor surely prepared dinner for the two of us as well."
Kotorichan
"I-I don't think I should eat anything..." Fisk slowly pulled away from the ibex's hand, his ears lowering slowly. "I did run away after all." He couldn't let that go, he felt like he had completely ruined Kason's evening. Not eating any food was a good punishment that wouldn't be cutting. Guest Eornostlice
Ah. His smile dropped yet again and he did not allow the fox to pull away completely, reaching out to pat him again. Poor thing... How could that bull be such a monster to such an innocent soul? It made him mad but he did not show it. "No, I want you to eat well. It is true that you've done a bad thing. You put yourself in danger and I was worried. But you already know that. I am sure you will remember that from now on so don't be mean to yourself. Connor even cooks an extra portion just for you, you see? They too want you to properly finish it and I am sure they aren't mad." Such a helpless fox... It would be alright. "Come now. Lets's get in the cab and go home."
Kotorichan
Fisk's shoulders were trembling slightly, but he managed to stop himself from having a complete breakdown. "Okay..." He slowly snuggled into Kason's touch as they walked out to the cab. His ears stayed lowered despite the ibex's comforting words. Fisk had spent too long being taught to hate himself for it to be reversed in just one day.
Guest Eornostlice
"Thank you for understanding." Kason did not pick on his ears just yet- he would have enough time to do that in the cab. Opening the door for Fisk with a smile, he waited for him to climb in. It was going to be alright. He was not expecting miracles right from the start. But they would see to it. Not only he himself but also Connor and Alishia. They would all teach him just how much he can be cared for and what being truly appreciated meant. Slowly. Most likely, Fisk was not going to be allowed to see his husband the following day. There was no way the psychologist was going to allow a victim manipulated by his abuser to get influenced even further. Either way, it was going to be a tough day that they needed to plan for. Kotorichan
Fisk climbed into the taxi and curled up against the window, staring out quietly. He waited under Kason got in next to him before speaking. "Do you think I'll get to see Eric tomorrow..?" He asked softly. "I don't like being apart from him for this long... It feels so empty." He shut his eyes, his ears flattening even more. It was starting to become even more stressful.
Guest Eornostlice
I apologize for not replying for so so long. Real life has been pretty tough and I find it extremely difficult to find the motivation to write these days, all the more now that I am in my exam period. Thank you for your patience and I truly apologize. His heart did sting as the fox spoke, and he did not wish to lie but simultaneously hearing the truth right now would do him no good. Ah. Reaching out to try and help him relax once more, his hand gently and affectionately stroking at his head in a soothing motion, the ibex smiled. "You are doing good. You're really brave." It was true. After all that mess, of course it was true. "Tomorrow we will find out after we go to the police alright? But we will need to listen to all that they have to say. Otherwise we will cause more harm. For you both. Alright? I promise you that you won't be alone." Without lying, that was the best answer he could give. Kotorichan
Felix's tail began to wag slowly, lightly thumping against the seat. "I'll listen to them... I don't want to make anything worse for Eric..." He leaned into the ibex, too sleepy to really think about what he was doing. He needed a good night's sleep, not just a restless nap. He also needed a good meal, something to get his energy back up. Laying against Kason was making him feel like he could just fall asleep like this. He was finally fully relaxed. ((It's okay, I've been having a lot of problems too. Sorry that this is so late))
Guest Eornostlice
"You are a really good boy, aren't you?..." Continuing to pat the fox, Kason went silent, figuring that Fisk was simply exhausted. After such a day, truly, who wouldn't be? The ibex did not mind the way that the other used his body for support, but neither did he think much of it, seeing it as nothing but what it was, an action urged by exhaustion. The little fox was stronger than he was letting on truly and the brunette was aware of the newfound protective tendencies. Most likely he wasn't much younger than himself but clearly went throught much more. Perhaps it was like the care a big brother would have towards his younger, more frail sibling. An adorable frail sibling that he wouldn't expose to harm any longer.
Kotorichan
Fisk's ears twitched at the feeling, his tail wagging a little faster. He was jolted back to reality when the taxi stopped. He looked around with an expression of pure panic. "W-where..?" He looked at Kason, afraid that he might have done something wrong. After a moment he realized where he was and his ears flattened in embarrassment. "Oh... Sorry..."
Guest Eornostlice
The ibex was about to gently wake Fisk up when he opened his eyes startled and confused by himself, making Kason inwardly sigh and pin that type of easily startled reaction as a result of the abuse he had been exposed to for way too long. He gently ruffled the fox's hair with a smile however, not wishing him to think that he had done anything to apologize for. "Come, let's go have some dinner and tuck you in bed." As he figured that he saw the other as a brotherly figure, he did not mind his own way of speaking, assuming that it was a mutual feeling. He had already paid for the cab so he was quick to climb out and open the door for Fisk himself.
Kotorichan
Fisk leaned up into the man's touch, nuzzling his fingers. He quickly realized that he was being too affectionate and stopped, his ears flatting. "Sorry..." He got out as quickly as he could, keeping his eyes on the floor. It felt wrong to enjoy being touched by another man so much. He was married, even if Eric was going to be gone for who knows how long.
Guest Eornostlice
There he went again, apologizing. It was rather heartbreaking honestly and the best he could do was to remain gentle. For whatever reason, he did not consider asking whatever the other was apologizing for, opening the main door to lead the way inside. There was no one left inside the café spare from the panter whose shoulders completely slumped at the sight of the two. "Where were you two?! Kason, I've called a thousand times. Gods, I've been worried to death!" Before the ibex even properly got inside, she was already asking questions. "Thank Gods you two are safe." It was Fisk she was truly worried about. Anyone in that frail of a condition disappearing was no good sign. Relief washed over her as she realized they had been together.
Kotorichan
Fisk instinctively flinched away at the sound of a reprimanding voice. "I-I'm sorry, I-I didn't think a-anyone would n-notice or c-care or anything." His gaze dropped to the ground and his shoulders shook. He was ready to be hit or yelled at for his actions. That's what he deserved wasn't it? He had caused problems for everyone. He started to pick at one of the scars on the back of his hand.
Guest Eornostlice
The pather looked puzzled towards Fisk for one moment too long before frowning a little, understanding that her reaction had scared the little fox. She let out a deep sigh and wrapped her arms lovingly around the sensitive new friend she had recently made, the look that Kason gave her making it clear that she had to be much more gentle. "Of course we would be worried. You two gave us a scare. Isn't it natural to be worried about a friend? I am sorry for shouting." She meant it. "Come on, you two must be starving as you barely ate the whole day. Conrad made some dinner."
Kotorichan
"You think of me as a friend...?" Fisk asked softly, a hint of happiness in his voice. "I... You don't have to make anything for me, I'm fine not eating... I don't want to be any more of a bother than I already am." He let his hair fall in front of his face, hiding his expression. Guest Eornostlice
"Of course you are a friend." She blinked confused, her big eyes focused on the little bundle of anxiety. "I hope to be one to you too. Enough chatter though. I don't want to hear that you are not gonna eat. I want to see your entire portion getting devoured by you. We made the food already and we eat together. That is the rule here." There was no such rule but with an anxious fox to be kept safe, there was no room for arguing. Kason himself also reached out to pat the fox, nodding towards the kitchen. "Come on. Conrad's meals are delicious."
