Kotorichan
"Ah... If you a-already cooked something for me t-then I wouldn't want to w-waste it..." Fisk mumbled, allowing himself to lean into Kason's touch. He quietly followed the others into the kitchen, but didn't take a seat yet. He waited until someone gave some kind of sign that it was time to sit. The gentle actions and kind words of his hosts were definitely helping him relax, but years of trauma was couldn't be erased in just a few hours. Guest Eornostlice
Fisk was clearly getting accustomed to the ibex's touches and it made him feel elated. Small progress would be made, one step at a time. The small round table was set in a very simple manner, with the dinner already on the middle of the table, a delicious-looking lasagna waiting to be cut and served. It was simple but definitely filling. It was supposed to make the atmosphere homely. Nothing fancy. Four chairs had been pulled at the table with one now unoccupied between the ibex and the panther, just across the lion. Now that everyone was here, Connor was the one to do the honors and place food in each person's plate, making sure to give the fox and the ibex each two extra big pieces, with the extra remaining in the middle for possible second servings. In his eyes, both were kids that could really use a hearty meal. There was also lemonade placed on top of the table with empty glasses to use for all 4 of them. "Come here." It was Kason that spoke softly, noticing Fisk's hesistance, patting the chair next to him.
Kotorichan
Fisk quietly sat down, his ears flat against his head. "T-thank you..." He murmured. His gaze stayed on the table, not moving to look at anyone. His eyes widened slightly as he noticed how large the piece was. He didn't usually eat much so he wasn't sure if he was going to be able to finish everything. But if he didn't then he might offend his hosts. Guest Eornostlice
Fisk was scared and beyond reserved. Anyone sitting at the table could easily tell that much. It was pitiful but there was not much to be done. Who knew for how long the abuse had been going on to break the boy into what he had become now. "Is lasagna fine for you kiddo? Would you like plain water or is lemonade alright for you?" The lion spoke up in a warm voice, causing his wife to blink up at him and the ibex to smile. Connor was the tipical scary-looking lion with an actual heart of gold. He did not talk much, being less impulsive than his wife but even he wished for the fox to at least relax enough to be able to eat.
Kotorichan
"Um... J-just whatever is easier for you..." Fisk replied softly. He took a tiny bite of his lasagna, his eyes immediately lighting up. "Mm... This is delicious." His ears finally perked up and his tail began to wag, lightly thumping against the back of his chair. He let out a soft whimper as he noticed the noise and re-positioned himself so he was sitting on top of his tail
