I've seen this film at the local film festival in my city, and rest assured that most of the dialogue is in english (around 80%) with the exception of the male lead James Chen who goes back and fourth, both leads parents and posse who don't have a very major presense in this film.

As for my quick review, I personally did not like this film as much as I wished I'd have. There is A LOT of racist remarks made with no real exploration or explanation given. The male leads just get frustrated but never stand up for themselves in a way I find satisfactory.

The ending was ehh at best. I won't spoil it but it was at the very least realistic.

The acting was a step above average with the exceptions of the parents who can be seen as background actors along with some of the male leads co-workers and posse, they all had a tendency to feel a bit stiff. I would give this film a 6 or 7 out of 10 because there were some bright spots like the cinematography, the cities and the original story but it could have used a bit of polishing with some of the actors chosen along with the exchanges of dialogue.

Would recommend but don't go into this film thinking it will leave a lasting impression of more than a week.
