The last reply from the previous thread:

Takuma's assumption was that his troubles would go away if he didn't smell Hiro at all, and with the mask, he gave an even smaller chance to catch any of his omega scent, he even kept his distance like this. But his mind still was plauged. He had a feeling like it would take a long time to go away, and in a way he was right. A long time was more like never, because rather than recognizing fate, he saw these feelings as an alpha curse. This curse was why he had to gain more strength in self control in both action and mind. Though one thing that wasn't apart of his nature as an alpha was his special mindset of thinking Hiro was fiendish towards him rather than cautious. It was Takuma's nature in general, sadly. And at the windows, getting a small glimpse of Hiro at the corner of his eye, he was starting to think of a way to counter Hiro's attacks. Childish and also wrong, Takuma wondered if he was able to use his role against Hiro as well, just as what the other was doing to him.

Because why did it have to be "Takuma was weak to the omega" when it should be "Hiro was weak to the alpha"? Sure, his coworker's scent was dangerously desirable. It made him lose his sanity for a short bit and it made everything in his head go upside down... But he was the alpha. It was in the other's nature to get weak knees from him. At first, his only intention was to be his rival in the sense of being the better employee and gain the highest title first. That didn't necessarily change, but it can have an addition followed after Takuma's new conclusion of Hiro's actions. If Hiro was going to act like the innocent omega, he's have to match it and act like some sort of a sex god/ dominant prince... That's how it work's, right? He asked himself, because he wasn't exactly sure what an alpha really looked like in terms of a relationship. Were they supposed to be kind to the omega? He didn't know. He certainly didn't want to be kind to Hiro. Were alpha's supposed to- "Sigh."

There was no use in trying to figure out what he'd have to pretend to be like. Takuma figured, whatever worked would do the trick. Nodding off in his new goal, he also gave himself a pat on the back while wiping, thinking to himself again, I won't be becoming your little puppet today, Hiro, nor anytime soon. Though I wonder what you'd look like with my hand up your ass instead.

What would a lovesick Hiro look like? He blinked and looked towards the other at the front counter, trying to picture it. Smiling up at him like an idiot... Hopelessly following him like a little pet... Baking and making him foods claiming to have the special ingredient "love"... All thoughts made him smirk, looking away from the brunet with a confident scoff. How ironic would it be to have that little omega fall for him when his plan was the other way around. Takuma found that hilarious. However. What suddenly popped into his mind next was not what he wanted. He got the image of Hiro looking up at him with a face turned red like before, his breath hiked and his scent just as thick as yesterday in the break room drowning him like a tsunami. How that sneaked into his thoughts was an easy thing to solve considering all he could think of was Hiro, on bad terms, but still. The alpha shook his head, snapping out of it, putting more elbow crease in getting the glass clean.

(you can cut to break time if you want, Takuma isn't going to do anything until then ^3^)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hiro had lost himself in thought. Staring off at the product binder was doing nothing for him at the moment. He had quietly sighed to himself probably about three times now and it had only been five minutes. Hiro took a peek at Takuma and watched as he cleaned the windows. At times he slowed his motions, as if he too were thinking. Then he'd start up all over again even at a faster speed. Hiro had decided to look away just before Takuma had looked his way. It was probably a good thing The two didn't meet at eye level. Hiro sighed one last time before something in the binder actually did catch his eyes. Taking a closer look he had noticed that the shipping company for the sods had double charged the store last week.
Hiro spent the rest of the morning multitasking between helping customers and dealing with the company in getting the money back. Although he was normally calm and innocent, Hiro wasn't going to give in to the lies of the company. Soon customers stopped coming in as the morning rush stopped. Hiro found himself on occasion raising his voice and had to lower it to stay calm. By the time lunch came around and the lunch rush was done and over with, Hiro had also managed to accomplish his goal in getting the money back. Hiro closed the store after the rush for he and Takuma to have their own lunch. A thirty minute break at this time was the usual.
Hiro made his way to the break room with a sigh. As soon as the door closed behind him he took his medicine bottle out and stared at it. Hiro sighed again as he sat in a chair at the furthest table in the room. To be honest, he wasn't expecting Takuma to come in. Completely forgetting the they here, despite all that happened this morning. As soon as the other stepped into the room Hiro's body tensed up and he froze in his seat. He was unable to look up at the other. But he made out every sound he made.
It seemed like this would be a constant struggle... Fighting the war between his plan and the thoughts that Hiro forced his alpha side to take on without his permission. While he worked before the break came, he of course liked to fantasize what might happen after his perfect solution became successful. But every time, it would sink into depths he didn't want to go to because of his natural instincts. It made Takuma feel sick to think his mind was infected by that nasty, poor man. How dare he force him to think of him blushing. And stuttering cutely. And holding onto his shoulders weakly. And...
Takuma shook his head furiously and slapped his cheek as he growled to himself, "No. Not again... I'm not falling in his trap." Because Hiro is supposed to fall into mine. With a deep breath, he adjusted the mask to better fit on his face. It might show weakness on his part to wear a mask to dull smells, but after what happened, he couldn't trust his own self just yet. And what happened yesterday, he was still scarred from the scent that was left in his memory and still hasn't gotten out of his system. What made him the most uncomfortable was to be taken out of power. Though he was an alpha, the species with the most power, but with that came times where that was the exact cause of losing it. Takuma hated Hiro, but he was forced to like his scent, lose his composure and even get a painful erection that he dared not to touch for the sake of his pride and ego.
After fixing his mask, he came into the break room, finding Hiro with his Amber eyes in no time at all. The brunet looked utterly stiff. His head was even lowered like an ashamed dog... How was it that this worthless thing caused him to break? It just made him feel a sudden surge of frustration, but Hiro wasn't looking at how that was the case thankfully. He wanted to be the collected one here. He was going to be more that. Takuma took out his phone from his back pocket and just idly checked for any notifications. It was an old habit of his. He wasn't exactly looking for a text message. He was checking to see if his parents finally felt bad for what they did and gave him a ton of money to his bank account. That would never be the case, he knew that, but he needed hope for something. Takuma sighed quietly seeing no bank message and put his phone back in his pocket, walking in and passing the char he normally would sit at. He passed the one after that, and after that as well. The alpha stopped at the chair closest to Hiro, pulling it even closer to the other man.
"Do you mind if I sit here?" He leaned in his chair, staring at Hiro. His question clearly was not to be taken as a kind question of courtesy.
Hiro was well aware of the others movements as he entered the room. When he stopped to check his phone. Which Hiro managed to take a peak at before the other noticed him looking. When he began walking again and his footsteps got closer and closer. Suddenly the chair beside him scraped against the floor and someone heavily sat down in it. Hiro's body tensed again and he looked away towards the wall. Mind if he sat there? He was already sitting. But why!? Why did he have to sit next to him? Hiro bit his bottom lip as he nodded his response to the other.
What was he supposed to do? Tell him no and to go away? Hiro didn't think that would make him a good coworker. He couldn't do anything beside sit there and pray the other would sense his discomfort. Didn't there past endeavor show him what it was like to be near him? Even the alphas own smell was starting to overwhelm him. Body order was one thing. Cologne was one thing. But this!? This was something entirely different. How was Hiro going to hold out for thirty minutes? He would have to brace himself, prepare himself. But...how?
Hiro wasn't that strong a person. Even though he claimed to be so. He could handle school and a job, staying up late to take care of his family, but having to handle his beta feelings was a whole other matter. Hiro let out a small self sigh before he hesitantly took a peak over to the other.
Takuma nearly mistook the bunny's nod for trembling, but it was there. And he ignored it. A scared bunny in front of the wolf, he could already feel his heart beating fast... He might be able to protect his nose from the scent a bit more, but nothing could protect his mind from the thrills he got from seeing the other man afraid and nervous at his presence. Oh boy could he sense Hiro was uncomfortable...He wandered into this and he had no intention of failing. Staring at the other as he typically would, he was thinking of ways to tear him apart.
Action was triggered by Hiro's peek, Takuma leaned forward, his larger self easily breaking into his bubble just by such a simple action, "Oh. You finally get the courage to look at me. Interesting." He grabbed the brunet's chair and turned it towards him easily, "Why are you so shy. It's rude to have a conversation like that... Give me your full attention. Look me in the eye like a normal human being." His digging eyes didn't give his coworker any mercy. They were like fire... And even though he was going to keep himself sane this time, he couldn't hide the lust growing in the flames.
He made a mistake. A bad one. Why did he have to look over at the other. He mentally hit himself and groaned in frustration. But in reality he couldn't do more then just stare into the eyes of his coworker, of the alpha who threatened his only hold on himself. He felt his chair being brought closer to the other, turning to face Takuma. Hiro gasped and grasped tightly onto the chair frame. He wanted to push himself as away from the other as he could, despite the chair keeping him in place. Hiro looked straight back at the other, unable to say anything. If he did, he felt nothing but a strangled sound would come out.
His eyes bore into Hiro's own, sending chills down his spine and heat even further. The smell was escalating. Was this the threat of an alphas lust? Hiro was screaming inside as his heart beat faster and faster. His breathing was starting to speed up while his cheeks and ears turned red. "Why-" Hiro had to stop himself from speaking as he heard his own voice squeak. Why was this happening to him? Two days in a row was too much for him. The hand that wasn't turning white against the frame of the chair was turning white against the bottle he kept in his pocket. However, no matter how much he wanted to take a pill, his hand wouldn't move and he was frozen in his spot by the fire within Takuma's eyes.
"Why what?" He asked, the mocking tone there in his voice. This was excellent. Hiro looked so surprised and shocked! He had no idea what to do now that Takuma was taking action against his sick game. He was blushing all over, he was still stiff, but he could see how each heavy heartbeat in the other shook him ever so slightly. He can act well, but there was no mistaking his fear for being real. "No. I don't care what you have to say when I'm not the one speaking first... My 'why' question is this. Why dot we become friends instead." Placing a hand on Hiro's knee, he cocked his head, "We can do a lot more good together don't you think. We can do a lot of other things as well if you want. We don't need to fight."
What was hurting him more than saying he wanted to be friends with Hiro was the pain coming from how fast his heart was beating as well. Just touching the other made a short spark go off in his head, like a dangerous spark of two rocks that nearly set the house on fire. His knee... Why did it kind of turn him on just to touch his goddamn knee... Takuma hated himself for that and mentally hit himself as well. In his own scolding, his grip tightened slightly. The mask was starting to lose the charm as well, it could only do so much, but being this close, Hiro reacting to him, other triggers and smells were coming off a lot stronger. He wouldn't break though. No fucking way. "Im only asking since you don't seem to mind putting us in dangerous situations. That's all."
He didn't want to answer that. He didn't even know why he tried speaking in the first place. He didn't know of much at this moment. He only knew of the heat scorching inside him and the beat of his heart that he swore would stop any minute. He had to calm down, he had to think about something else. But how!? Takuma was pulling him in, dragging him further and further deeper. Takuma spoke again, providing him with a question he couldn't quite understand. Friends? Become friends with Takuma? Would he really want to be friends with Hiro? His thoughts flew away when he felt the warm pressure of Takuma's hand on his knee. Hiro nearly jumped out of his seat at the touch.
Hiro shook his head. Whether it be from saying no or to just shake away the unwanted thoughts that took over now. Hiro's breath hitched when the pressure on his knee tightened. His eyes shot down to the hand and back to the other. He was sweating with anxiety and he was as bright as a tomato from his cheeks to his ears and down his neck. "B-but that's not- it's not like-" though his words came out a little better, he still couldn't form full sentences. And his voice was still squeaky.
He could see how every second made it hard for Hiro not to break down. Takuma wasn't doing so good either, but at least the brunet was crumbling first. Blushing, stuttering, looking up at him, smelling sweet enough to just eat up right here and now even if neither of them wanted it... God. Takuma frowned, wanting to hurry this up before anything bad happened. It really was starting to become unbearable, and it was getting worse for him by the second as well, he just hid it better. "Huh? It's not like... It's not like you like me? But you do don't you? You let me kiss you and push you against the shelf... You liked it when I ground against you. You helped and held me." He voice deepened, his crisp tone tainted with desire he didn't mean to feel.
This wasn't working out as easily as he thought. Just remembering what happens before killed him. Kissing him was so sweet and blissful. His smaller body being cornered by him made Takuma feel so empowered, having Hiro's hands grab his shirt on reflex, hearing his panting~ It really was getting him on now, but he was more desperate not to fail. It might already be too late though. "If you didn't push me away, I would have kept going. How do you feel about that Hiro..."
No that wasn't what he wanted to say, or was it. Hiro didn't know anymore. But the more Takuma spoke the more his senses clouded over. That time before, the intense heat he felt when they touched though it was through clothes. "I couldn't H-help it..." could he help it? Was he actually capable of stopping it and just didn't want to. He lowered his gaze again to the hand. Did he like it? Well yeah he did. He was a guy after all. Even worse, he was a beta, drowning in the feelings and smells of the other. His brows knit together in frustration, but he still wasn't sure what he was frustrated at.
He looked back at Takuma. Eyes almost as fierce as his, despite the raging blush he had going on. The hand on his knee was still very evident to his overwhelmed senses. However, Takuma's next words had him all but breaking. What would have happened had they not stopped? O he couldn't think like that. But....Takuma had said...they could do more.... Hiro slightly relaxed and his facial expression softened slightly. Could they really be friends? Hiro looked straight into Takuma's eyes. "We can...be friends, right? We don't...have to fight all the time, right?" What exactly was Hiro trying to say? He wasn't so sure anymore.
He carefully watched Hiro, he saw the moment where his expression grew ah furrow in his eyebrows. What caused that was something he wasn't sure of, but whatever it was, it was thrown off by his question. "Exactly." He said without any hesitation, not thinking about it any longer. He let go of his knee and put his hand to Hiro's head instead, rubbing softly. Fuck his hair was really soft... "Thats what I want for us to do. No trickery, none of that. We grow together as employees in this food industry and as friends. And anything more if you wanted..." Finally. He couldn't last another level headed minute left in this room with Hiro.
"But for now, Hiro," he stood up and repelled his hand slowly off his head, "I should probably leave before I really do finish what I started... I still want to but if I started to, I wouldn't stop. It would take far longer than thirty minutes to do and I need to think of the customers before anything else..." He paused, looking to the door and pulling the shirt collar on his neck, since it was hard to breathe properly with the smell, "By the way. Can I get my dollar back. I need it for lunch."
So Takuma really wanted to be friends. He didn't want to continue fighting with Hiro. He felt relieved somehow, even glad. He had friends, but he always liked brining in another to his circle. The hand on his knee left and instantly it started to feel cold. However he wasn't expecting what came after. The hand retracted from his knee, but instantly went for his head. Hiro tensed slightly but he soon relaxed against the warmth on his head. It felt good, he wasn't going to lie. He wanted so much to just lean into the hand. He almost did, until Takuma mentioned the possibility of being more then just friends. Hiro's eyes went wide as he looked back at the other. His hands which had managed to relax from the hold he had, now gripped tightly on his pants. More? Takuma wanted to be more with Hiro? Did Hiro want to be more with Takuma then just friends? He wasn't going to lie, he liked the idea. Even if they had gotten off on the wrong foot. Even if they fought countless times in only two days.
Takuma stood up then however, leaving another coldness on Hiro's head. Hiro's eyes widened again and he shot his gaze up towards the other as he walked away. Just then Hiro reached out for Takuma, and caught the hem of his shirt. A small whisper escaped his lips. "D-don't..." don't what though? Don't leave? Don't say that? He wasn't sure what he was saying no to. He blinked and instantly released his hold on the other. "S-sorry, um, right. Your dollar. I have- I have it." Hiro was sort of sad that he stopped himself from continuing. But he was also afraid of what exactly came next. He reached into his back pocket and pulled out his wallet to repay Takuma the dollar. Hiro's hands trembled uncontrollably.
A gentle hold and whisper from Hiro... Something like this have been a sign he was doing well in his plan, but instead, it just felt like a punch in the gut from his natural alpha drives. It was telling him to urge the younger man into asking what he wanted. It encouraged Takuma to stay here and carry out the tasks that both of their bodies wanted. Hiro was very... Cute... just now. But what was he really going to say? Was he really going to tell him to stay? Just the fact that he hoped it was made him upset at himself. He didn't want to do anything intimate with the lowlife beta at all.
The alpha bit his cheek and stared down at Hiro once more, waiting for that dollar, but it looked like the brunet was going to start an earthquake with how much he shook. So frustrating-! He needed to leave quick. Takuma couldn't help from getting a scrunch between his eyebrows as he came back to Hiro and leaned down, taking the wallet from him to take the dollar bill himself, making sure Hiro could see he only took one dollar before putting the wallet back into his shaky hands, "Thank you. Enjoy your break." He muttered bluntly, quickly making his leave without saying anything else, for he had indeed said enough.
As soon as he shut the door behind him, he ripped off the mask and took a deep, deep breath of uncontaminated air with a frown. But after a moment passed, he grinned sickeningly and balled a fist, truly as if he gained a true victory and as if he wasn't also about to crack just as Hiro was, "I think this will work out perfectly."
Hiro's hand was uncontrollably shaking. He'd never felt so nervous in his life! And what had he just done!? Reaching out for a Takuma like that? And what on earth was he about to say? Hiro's wallet sat on the table before him as he stared at it. His shaking hands shot up to the side of his head and he covered his eyes with his slender fingers. If he wasn't red before, he certainly was now. He could feel his heart pounding against his ribs, anymore and it certainly would explode. Hiro tried taking a deep breath, but he only caught the last floating scent of the others scent. Hiro nearly chocked out, trying to get the smell out of his head. "Oh god, what did I do? What am I going to do now!?"
Hiro reached down and quickly brought out his medicine bottle. He popped the cap off and shook out one pill. He snapped it into his mouth where he swallowed it whole without water. This was insane! He'd have to get more pills fast, or he'd run out quicker then a rabbit running for his life. Well, it made sense, in this situation he felt like a rabbit. A small puny rabbit, trapped within the clutches of a proud and greedy wolf.
Did that wolf really over to be friends with Hiro? After Hiro was accused of things he just clearly didn't do. What was worse is that he offered to be more. To be more then friends? Hiro clutched at his shirt right over his heart. No, he couldn't get excited about that. He couldn't let that happen. But somewhere deep inside him, he wanted to feel Takuma against him. To watch the other gasp out as he pushed Hiro down and.... Hiro blinked. "No! Wait- that's not-!" He cried out and shook his head of these thoughts. He was going to be in serious trouble from now on.
  • 1 month later...
Takuma fanned his face for a few minutes with a magazine, sitting behind the counter while eating a bag of chips. It wasn't the best lunch, but he only had that dollar to use. Though, it didn't matter when tides were turning for the alpha, and nothing felt better than to have total bearings on the battlefields while the enemy was there, clueless. Right now, he was on top of his game again... Takuma stopped fanning himself and drank from a bottle of water next to him as he glanced to the clock, reading that there wasn't much time left before the shift started again. He couldn't wait for it all to start again, he wanted to mess with Hiro more, make him blush, make him shake and make him stutter like a bumbling bunny. Not because he liked seeing it, never, he liked it because it gave him power.
A buzz came from his pocket just then. He thought it was just a notification from his email or something, which could wait, but then it buzzed another time, and another time.
The blond frowned and took out his phone fast when he realized it was someone calling him. He hadn't gotten an unexpected phone call not once since he went on a plane away from home. When he got calls, it was from employers when he was job hunting, but that period was over. He read the number that came up on the screen, it was just a number, but it was one he recognized. Standing up, he answered the phone and put it to his ear, too far in disbelief to be the first one to speak. But he didn't have to.
"Oh honey, Its good to know you still have service!" A pompous, female voice was on the other end of the phone. It was none other than his mother, one of the parents that sent him off because of his uselessness. "That must mean you're doing well, son?"
Takuma walked away from the register and his expression just became worse. Sickened almost. "W... You're calling me? Why are you calling me? Out of all people... You sure have the nerve." He spat out bitterly.
The woman wasn't at all affected by his tone, making her cool, collective voice be even more obnoxious, "The nerve? You're my son, I want to know how things are for you. I was just busy, I couldn't call earlier."
"Mother. I left over three months ago." He growled, "What do you mean 'you were busy'?"
Hiro had to cool himself down. There was only fifteen minutes left until lunch was over and they started the store back up again. New coffee would need to be brewed, the hot lunch items needed to be cooked and put in the crockpots to keep warm. Yeah, just like this, if he thought about what needed to be done for work then he could cool down faster. The pill was already starting to take affect, in another few minutes he'd be back to normal again.
After preparing the lunch, finishing up organizing the order binder, make sure orders for this week were set, maybe restock the beer fridge, all these things he would need to do before the day ended. He let out a deep breath. His heart was slowing down and not threatening to barge through his rip cage and run free.
Ten minutes left until lunch, he'd go take down the 'out for lunch' sign and put up the 'open' sign. Hiro was thinking of all the things he could, even as far as dusting the base boards around the floor when he heard a voice in the store itself. It didn't sound like someone was responding to them, but he could clearly tell they were in a conversation. He decided to get up the. And take a peek.
Hiro didn't see anything at first, then he stepped out of the break room further and noticed Takuma's back facing him. An arm bent up and holding something to his ear. "Oh" Hiro whispered to himself as he noticed Takuma was actually on the phone.
Hiro looked at the large wall clock in his line of sight. Eight minutes until the store opened again. He'd let Takuma finish his phone conversation if he needed to, but Hiro would at least ready the store.
As quietly as he could without bothering Takuma, Hiro made his way to the front of the store. There was no one waiting to come in just yet. So Hiro remained looking out the large windows until it was time, until Takuma had finished his phone call.
"Three months too soon, haha!" Her dainty laugh made Takuma pull the phone away from his hear so he wouldn't get brain damage from hearing it. But then she stopped and said something far more damaging than a laugh, "Over three months, thats some time. I wonder if you learned your lesson..." Learned a lesson? The alpha stared off, confused. There was no lesson to be learned. His parents simply didn't want him anymore, they forced him out the estate and gave him no more support. That's why his call threw him off. "You know... Yuko felt pity on you when you left. She also said if you learned your lesson and will respect her, she will marry you and you can come back home again. Is that so lovely?"
"... If I learned my lesson...?" He muttered, thinking.
"Yes! She is such a sweet girl, so beautiful," his mother sighed happily, "I'd love it if she became my daughter in law... I wonder what your kids would look like!"
Takuma went quiet, to his mothers assumption, about her offer, but it was completely wrong when he spoke up once more, "That's very interesting. I thought that I went off on my own? Remember? That's what you told the news isn't it? That I left on my own? How could that bitch give me a second chance? You sent me away and made everyone think it was my choice," he hissed at her, "You just want a second chance. A second chance to cash in on that marriage."
Silence.
"Is that the only reason why you called me?"
"Well then... Do you want a second chance in this family or not, Takuma?" Her happy voice became one that put dread into Takuma's heart. He was alone for such a long time, full of hate and anger for his parents. He secretly hoped they changed their hearts and minds, even if it was a microscopic chance. But no. The first call from his parents was about his mother wanting him to come back so they can try again at making more money. They really did feel no regret, no pain, no anything.
The blond hung up right there. Now... he really didn't even want to go back.
Takuma was feeling a new thing in his heart now, and it wasn't warm and fluttery. It was really, really icy. Returning back to the counter to get his water and chips, he leaned against it and went to block his mother's phone number. "Cold..." He felt a bit lost at the moment, even if he should have expected this to happen, it was just shocking. He thought, this couldn't possibly be normal, right?
Hiro didn't want to listen to the conversation Takuma was having. In fact, he should have just stayed in the break room. But somehow he felt like he needed to be out there. Sure he didn't make eye contact with the other, but he just figured being there might be better.
The phone call was cut short, Hiro could tell. Slightly from the corner of his eyes Hiro could see Takuma return to the counter, a look of more discomfort on his face. He looked at the clock, time to open. He switched the sign to open and unlocked it. Then he opened the door and moved some of the fixtures that would get more attention outside. It was a good day, the weather was perfect. But somehow, the feelings within the store were just thrown off.
Hiro returned back inside and took a glimpse at Takuma soon he'd have to teach the other how to use the register. Perhaps he could lighten the mood a bit and do just that.
"T-Takuma, w-would you mind if it introduced the register to you?" He was nervous to be anywhere near him. After what had just happened he wasn't sure that was such a good idea. But he couldn't help but try.
He needed to try something. He stepped towards the counter, despite the fact that Takuma had a nasty look on his face. "It's...about time I taught you how to use it any-anyway." He was still slightly thrown off by his demeanor, but he was determined to get somewhere.
