Blackmonkey Pro... Gone?!

Okay, this isn't the typical good news with links to sources for fun BL stuff, but I feel there needs to be a little mourning for Blackmonkey Pro and all their amazing BL/Bara stuff. The site closed on Oct. 1st due to all their creators going on to other things I suppose.

 

I know a lot of them do Patreons now, but it's still very sad to see the site gone, especially as one of the triggers back to my yaoi interest. Plus, they had a few projects in the works that will now be lingering out there unless the artists behind them want to continue them outside of BMP.

 

If anyone else has love, or knows of other projects happening with former BMP artists, I think it would be nice to keep that information out there. I'm really confused, because it sounds like they do wish to come back in the future, maybe they are still doing sales through email, but they've taken the site down for general use and browsing.

 

It also makes me sad because I really wanted to save up and treat myself for Christmas with a slew of BMP doujin/manga and maybe a game.

 

I don't even know how many people know some of their favorite stuff or great fanworks of their favorite series was done in great quality yaoi form by the team at BMP.

 

I for one will miss them.
