Time_Keeper
Life wasn't meant to be easy. Everyone knew that, they were taught to acknowledge and understand that. It was part of living, there was no way around it. There would always seem to be more bad than good, no matter how hard you tried to see the light at the end of the tunnel......But did it have to be such a struggle. YC never had anything given to him. He had to fight for everything in a household of 5 more siblings. His parents weren't the best that could be and when it came to terms of affection, it was a struggle to get even the slightest of praises, no matter how hard he tried. Maybe that was why he became so angry over the years, so closed off from the world, so untrusting and distant. Many of the people he met often questioned his behavior, only to receive half hearted answers or silent scowls. YC doubted anything would really matter to him. He had learned to not care about much and simply survive this life, even if he didn't feel like he was actually living it. Everything changed though when his grandparents, whose wealth he didn't even bother to think about, surprised him on his 22nd birthday with a trip to Hawaii for a few months. YC was weary of his family's intentions at first but grudgeingly decided to go on the trip. It would be good to get away from the same old and see something new for once. Maybe he'd be able to find a purpose for his life on this trip. The thought was kinda foolish, but he toyed with it nevertheless. Little did he know that the cold around his heart would melt when he laid eyes on a violinist performing for the guests in the courtyard of the hotel he was staying in. The peace and serenity the man seemed to portray through his music, his small smiles and the softness of his eyes were something that quickly became a thing of envy in YC. As he begins to spend more time with the man, he grows more and more interested in him, something he never thought would have happened. It was almost as if he had found a piece of himself that he had been missing for so many cold years. But can he uncover the mystery of the violinist's strange adoration for the ocean? Why the man seems to always be able to melt away in a crowd and leave no trace behind? How the man seems to be able to understand the ocean and the it's motions? Is it possible that YC had truly been missing something his whole life? Could it be that he isn't as human as he once thought?
