Name: Katian Alastor

Age: Looks 28, actual age unknown

Gender: Male

Type/Species: Demon

Sexual Pref: Omnisexual

Personality: He's an evil, sadistic sone of a bitch. He enjoys scaring people and fucking with their heads. He'll manipulate, hurt and emotionally batter anyone and anything that he feels he can.

Weapon of Choice: He is incredibly powerful, and he uses many forms of magic to manipulate ... Well everything. Mostly he uses his ability to make people scared. He also uses any weapon of convenience, and a sword crafted of obsidian and iron. It's charmed to be unbreakable.

Stats

Height: 6'3

Weight: 225lbs

Looks: Katian is tall, and built to kill. He isn't built for speed but he is fast when he needs to be. He has golden eyes that turn molten red when he's angry or causing pain, and his hair is a dark almost black red that he keeps tied back in a braid; though there are long bits of hair that fall into his face regularly. His body is covered in tattoos of various kinds, both of his ears are pointed and pierced all the way up. He usually wears a black shirt, or no shirt, and black pants.

History: Katian was a demon to end all demons. So terrible and beautiful that even the demon world didn't have room for him. So they reached and agreement with heaven that they would trap him in a body with someone that could handle the demon, a fallen angel that could keep Katian contained and dormant (for the most part). But Katian is so powerful that he still breaks out and stifles the fallen angel when he is strong enough.

Name: Tre'Lan

Age: Appears to be late twenties early thirties, actual age 700+.

Gender: Male

Pref.: Indifferent.

Type/Species: Fallen

Personality: Tre'Lan is an unusually kind fallen, due to the reason for his fall. He has lived with the guilt of his mistakes for over a hundred years, and has continually tried to repent for his sins. He's quiet, and watchful. His nickname in the heavens was wolf, and he was close to having a sainthood of the animals anointed to him, till the accident.

Weapon of choice: he has his own magical skills, and he communicates effectively with animals. His weapon of choice though is an axe he keeps strapped to his back and a seraph blade disguised as a bracelet on his left wrist. He is in general more powerful than Katian, but he does get tired from time to time.

Stats:

Height: 6'4

Weight: 210 lbs

Looks: Tre'Lan has white hair and yellow eyes. He's built for speed instead of brute strength but he's never lost a battle before in his life. They call him the wolf not only because of his animal instincts but because of his sharp features. He wears a red wolf tail on his belt to honor his name.

History: Tre'Lan fell when he killed an innocent in battle. It was an error in his calculations and a demon threw a mortal on his sword. He has never forgiven himself and has walked the world taking care of animals and mortals alike until he was pinned as the only possibile being to hold Katian. God picked it as a fitful punishment and it was done.

Name: Irukka

Age: 25

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Gay

Personality: For the most part Irukka is a nice easy going guy, he tends to find the good in those around him and just about always has a smile on his face when in public. It's when he's alone that another side of him really appears, though the smile vanishes and his eyes harden it doesn't mean he becomes hard to deal with, quite the opposite really. He is still in some cases a push over, but he does make it quite clear if he doesn't agree with something.

Stats:

Height: 5'9

Weight: 190

Looks: Irukka is far from scary in any sense of the word, on the lighter side he seems relatively weak but there is a hidden strength beneath his more weak frame. Of a more average height for his age his body is on the lean side, something that works to make himself look more attractive in the eyes of others. In a way it seems as if his appearance was created with one thing in mind.

History: Created for once sole purpose, Irukka is completely unaware of what that purpose is. Up until this point living a relatively normal life, aside from the occasional odd occurrence. Having made a life for himself in the town he had called home all these years.

Tre'Lan had fallen asleep that day in a forest somewhere near a town where he'd gotten food. He'd spent time tending to some animals that had been trapped or injured and sent them on their way. He remembered the afternoon well in his sleep, the sun had been shining, and he drifted away peacefully in the glittering sunshine, his white bangs hanging into his golden yellow eyes, the warm breeze of spring, the smell of fresh life engulfed the entire area; there was something so familiar in the air. Really, it was enough to make anyone sleepy - but Tre'Lan had a hard job keeping Katian at bay, the demon had been kicked out of hell, too terrible and beautiful for even the demons there. When god and Lucifer struck a bargain that they would take someone that was sentenced to walk through their worlds, and force them to watch Katian. They had grown tired of his antics and felt he was too dangerous to leave to humanity, so when Tre'Lan failed, and killed an innocent he was the perfect prison cell.

It had been almost three hundred years since they'd been sentenced to exist with each other till one or both of them finally perished. Katian still broke free from his prison cell from time to time - but only when Tre'Lan was exhausted, occasionally letting the whims of a beautiful afternoon like the one he was still dreaming about take hold of him. He generally wore a white kimono and getta - which despite popular belief he was fast, and deadly in.

That wasn't who woke up though. Amber golden orbs shifted open when night fell, white hair shifting to long, messy black locks. He lost an inch in height but gained muscle mass. The kimono was also gone, traded in for black pants and a black shirt. Katian stretched his stiff body out, fucked if that shit head for a prison ever picked somewhere to sleep that wasn't a goddamned tree. Despite his displeasure at the place of rest he quickly shifted out - stretched once more now that he was standing and looked about. Miles from the nearest town, that wasn't surprising, the wood nymph usually tried to keep him as far from populations as he could just in case Katien decided to go on another killing spree.

This night was different though, a cool spring wind had settled in, coming off of the ocean. He shut his eyes - almost as though he was enjoying the breeze, he could smell the ocean but there was something else in the air. Something familiar that he hadn't smelled in so long he didn't think it was possible for it to still exist. When his eyes opened his irises had gone blood red and his pupils had dilated like a starving dog being handed a steak. Certainly the smell wasn't right - certainly it was just... someone else, just a cruel joke from the big man upstairs, punishing him for his crimes. Well Katian wouldn't stand for it. whatever the hell smelled like that was going to die - tonight.

He stalked off toward down, long legs carrying him quickly without much effort. The large demon took his time despite his desire for more haste, he didn't want to overshoot and have to turn around, it would just waste time. He needed to locate his target though and in a city full of people he felt exposed. The last time he found himself wandering a city he had settled for murdering a third of the residence before Tre'Lan was able to kick him out of the body and back down into the blackness. The dark cage of Tre'Lan's subconscious mind was not assisting with his sanity issues.

Katien wandered the streets till he'd gotten so close to the smell he couldn't do much else but watch, wait, and try and find his prey. He smoothly hopped up to a roof, sitting like an owl, he was waiting for movement, or smell, or anything that would tell him where his target was. His golden orbs were still tinted red with agitation as his muscles stayed tight. What he didn't know was who he would find, what they would look like, but the olfactory memory that was triggered by whoever was walking around would drive him to annihilate the whole city if he had to just to get the thoughts out of his head. The aching sadness the memory triggered. It was weakness, and he wouldn't allow himself to feel it again, not like last time.

Having spent his day with some friends it was late by the time Irukka set off for home, the sun having set as he stepped out into the cool spring air. The slight breeze was a welcome relief compared to the stuffy apartment he had spent most of his day shoved inside. He loved his friends don't get him wrong, but five guys shoved in a tiny apartment meant that things could get a bit hectic and tonight had been no exception to that. Of course that caused a smile to cross his face as he chuckled setting off for home, he slipped his hands into his pants pockets as he walked enjoying the night air. As he walked his mind wandered, at least until he was close to his home when suddenly he felt like something was... off. Glancing around himself as he stopped outside of the building he let his hazel eyes take in the darkened streets around him.

"Odd." he murmured to himself, he still had that rather strange feeling but there seemed to be absolutely no one around, if he was being honest with himself it actually seemed as if the place was deserted. That of course did nothing to ease him, but what really surprised him about this feeling was the fact that it wasn't fear, or even dread. No, it was something akin almost to comfort, almost as if a dormant part of him had finally awoken. It was as his eyes returned to the dark street before him that he shook his head and moved to head up the stairs and to his apartment, there was no point in him hanging out outside in the dark after all. Pulling out his keys he pushed one into the door unlocking it before stepping inside and closing the door behind him, setting his keys down on the kitchen counter he grabbed a bottle of water. Sipping from it as his eyes felt drawn to the window near the balcony, that feeling was so strong it was almost hard to ignore.

If he was being honest with himself this wouldn't be the oddest thing to happen to him, growing up he had always had an odd sense about those around him. So he figured maybe this was just one of those moments, screwing the cap back on his bottle he set it down by his keys and set off for the bathroom. At this point he figured a nice shower would help ease his mind, even if he wasn't exactly sure what he was trying to ease it from. Turning on the tap he let it run to get to the right temperature as he went and grabbed a towel, despite living alone he still wasn't that big on running around the apartment naked. Even if it was an option it had never been appealing, now was no different as he disappeared into the bathroom shutting the door behind him.

Slipping out of the clothes he had been wearing he stepped into the shower, allowing his eyes to drift shut as a sigh slipped past his lips. He always enjoyed ending his day like this, once in awhile he'd have some guy over, whoever had his attention at the time, but relationships never lasted long. Despite how attractive the guys were that he did try to be with, he just couldn't do it in the end. It was almost as if his very being belonged to someone else, and the men he tried to have any sort of relationship with just couldn't compare. That brought a small frown to his face, hazel eyes drifting open as he turned to face the spray and finally wash up, he couldn't stand in the shower all night after all.

When he was finished he turned the water off, grabbed the towel and wrapped it around his waist before making his way to his bedroom to get dressed. Even in the apartment the air was a little cool, but he knew that it felt even cooler now because of the fact that his skin was damp. Walking over to his bedroom window he made sure it was shut, not needing the extra draft as he dried off and got dressed pulling on nothing more than a pair of boxers and shorts. He didn't see the need in putting anything else on just to go to bed. Tossing the towel in the hamper he moved back towards the kitchen, he still needed to lock the front door and make sure he had closed the other windows before he went to bed. Not to mention he wanted to retrieve his water just encase he got thirsty in the middle of the night.

Katian searched the city streets quickly. He found his prey with relative ease; red, hungry eyes locking onto his target as he left his group of friends. Katian drew back as the male looked around, avoiding being seen right away. He followed behind the male, trying to deny internally that he looked so much like someone he had lost so long ago. There was a strange feeling of dismay and sadness, the familiar smell stung his eyes. What are you doing, little human? And how have you come to smell so much like the one I lost?

The demon attempted to be patient, following behind him and once he had nailed the apartment that Irruka lived in he stood outside the door, a hand flat against the surface. He listened with delicate ears to identify the sounds inside and once he heard the gentle creek of a bed and the settling of night noises Katian grinned a dark, malicious grin. He shut his eyes, after the long sleep that the wolf had granted him he had more power surging through his body than he was accustomed to anymore.

Katian didn't to be told Irruka's name, he could dig into the kids mind and as a human be in and out before he would wonder what to eat for breakfast in the morning. It was quick and painless; it was also the fastest way to learn his fears. Once he knew them Katian turned the door knob - unlocking it as he did, and stayed at the door. It was a stupid curse that Tre'Lan had used but he couldn't enter a house without being invited, vampire lore turned blockade for Katian. But Tre'Lan couldn't keep him from having fun. Katian conjured up several snakes that slithered along the floor and headed straight for the boy's bedroom.

The apartment rumbled, shaking as if it was independent from the rest of the building. Katian narrowed in on the space and projected his voice to whisper next to Irruka's ear. "Iiiirruuuukaaaaaa, Irruuuka." His voice was a low growl, a dark noise in the already dark room just after Irruka would be ready to drift off. The snakes moved quickly and were soon in Irruka's room. His voice laughed, at first it was a calm dark laugh but soon it was a rumbling cackle, the snakes snapped at the comforter of the bed.

"What will you do Irruka? Will you run?" Spiders began appearing at the seems of the walls and crawling out toward the bed - Toward Irruka. He conjured up another snake or two, the rumbling in the apartment stopped so that Irruka could focus on his fear. "Will you let me in Irruka? I can save you, I can make it stop."

Katian's heart was racing, elated that he could disturb this boy before killing him. Torturing his mental fortitude, he could feel every spike in adrenaline, every shake of fear. Every fevered thought washed over Katian like a wave and he was devouring it whole.

Irukka was dozing off when felt like the apartment was shaking, despite that he didn't really pay much attention to it figuring a number of things could have been the cause. Instead he just shifted and nuzzled his pillow allowing himself to relax again at least until he heard a voice next to his ear in which case he shot up eyes flashing open. Instantly he glanced around his room, his heart had sped up and his breaths were escaping him a bit faster. It wasn't like he hadn't "heard" something that didn't exist before in the sense that once in awhile his mind did play tricks on him at night but this wasn't like any of those times.

That voice... something about it felt familiar but scared him in a way he couldn't explain. Turning he sat with his back to the headboard and glanced around the room, it was dark but everything seemed to be normal. Running a hand through his hair he managed to calm his racing heart just in time for his eyes to catch movement. Already he could feel his heart start to race again which only got worse when he realized just what the movement was, visibly paling.

His mind tried to rationalize it, tried to tell himself he was dreaming but he knew that was a lie. This was no dream, but maybe he was going insane? There wasn't a logical answer for snakes having appeared in his apartment and he opened his mouth but no sound came out, his eyes just stared widely at the reptiles as he tried to keep himself calm. That was quickly failing and he could feel the panic rising inside of him, there were many things he could handle but for some reason he couldn't explain snakes were not one of them.

Maybe it was a stupid fear but it was his fear, stronger than anything else. He heard that voice again asking him what he would do, if he would run. He definitely wanted to run but doing so meant slipping off of the bed directly over said snakes and that was something he couldn't bring his paralyzed body to do. The spiders he noticed appearing where the walls met were what finally brought a sound from his throat other than his shallow breathing a scream left his lips. His fear of snakes was severe enough to make him feel like he would suffocate from his lack of ability to bring in a breath, a reaction he had never been able to explain. Spiders being another fear had been just enough to break that paralyses that seemed to hit him at the sight of a snake and bring forth another reaction.

If it was possible he thought his heart my just beat out of his chest... or stop altogether. Then that voice was back, his mind was panicking but it was aware enough that his fearful eyes moved towards his bedroom door. It seemed so far away, his fears telling him there was absolutely no way he would be able to make it there and escape the snakes and spiders that seemed to be coming out of nowhere. 'No.' he thought to himself as his eyes drifted shut he would not run, leaning forward slightly taking in a sharp breath hoping by some miracle that if he couldn't see the spiders or snakes that he could calm himself. Of course that had been wishful thinking. He could still hear the sound of the snakes and the fear was still very much present if anything not watching them seemed to make it worse since he was no longer aware of where they were or what they may be doing.

A soft whimper slipped from his lips a sound that was even foreign to his own ears, but he didn't want to give in to that voice either. What did it even mean let him in? His mind desperately wanted to it all to stop, trying to convince himself that none of this could be real that there was just no way. At least he was telling himself that one minute and the next he could feel himself cracking under the fear as his eyes reopened and he moved trying to put distance between him and any of the snakes or spiders present.

His resolve to not letting said voice in was quickly diminishing, and before he knew it he did just that. The thought rang through his head first a desperate plea for whatever was causing this to make it stop and the words fell from his lips not even a second later a soft whisper, "Y-yes you can come in... just... stop it." He felt like he was going insane talking to himself like this, it was crazy.

Katian could feel the increasing anxiety from the body inside the house. Feeding off of the fear, drinking in the knowledge that the quivering figure in the shadows was his fault. He loved it. A malicious grin was stuck to his lips when the words finally hit him. Make it stop and he could come in. Bingo. The door practically flew off the hinges as the door slammed open. He stalked into the small apartment like a wolf looking for it's prey, and it wasn't long before red eyes found their target.

The apartment was filled with the smell that had driven him to hunt this human down to begin with, and the second he laid eyes on the source his jaw fell. The shaking stopped and the apparitions that were crawling around the room slowly disappeared one by one. He wasn't sure what to make of what he saw really, and he was stunned into standing still. Flashes of a life he once had a long time ago filled his brain. Quiet mornings, long afternoons. It had been the thing of movies and fairy tales, their love. Katian tried to get a handle on himself, there was no way this person was the same. No way that this was his love of so many years long past. It was a cruel joke and he immediately blamed god for it.

Who else could see the sense in torturing him this way, his anguish for those meager moments was palpable. A different look in his eyes than the blinding rage, one of pain, sadness. It didn't last long though before the anger returned. Furrowed brows and newly focused eyes looked over the quivering form. His lover would have never batted an eye at snakes and spiders, but his lover at the time had also not been a human. He took long strides forward to Irruka, not immediately exposing what he was going to do.

When the distance had been cleared between the two of them he rose his hand and like lightening he brought it down against the soft skin of Irruka's cheek. He wasn't sure how hard he'd hit the boy - no not until he looked on his face. But it didn't matter to the demon, "Who the fuck do you think you are Irruka? Taking on the form of a soul you don't have permission to contain!" He growled low, angry at the sight of someone who shouldn't be. "I should rip your chest open and throw your heart to the demons in hell."

Katian snatched up Irruka's chin, gripping it tightly with his fingers, long nails pressing into the skin. "Who are you, and why do you bare a face that is not yours?" His red eyes stared into the grey pair. "Answer quickly or I'll drop you from the roof of the nearest building to satisfy my desire to kill you."

Shaking with fear Irukka tried desperately to calm his racing heart as the apparitions started to vanish one by one and the shaking stop. At least until his fearful eyes landed on the figure in the doorway of his bedroom. 'I have to be dreaming... this has to be a nightmare...' he desperately tried to convince himself. It was then he noticed the look on the figure's face change before he was moving towards him and quickly. His first instinct was to run, but he was already backed up against the headboard of his bed, he was trapped.

The hand connecting with his cheek had enough force behind it to make his head snap to the side and a pained groan slip from his lips. Eyes drifting shut he whimpered softly already able to feel the welt forming. The words just confused him and terrified him even more, what was this man even talking about and how did he know his name? The threat of ripping his chest open and apparently throwing his heart to the demons of hell both terrified him but it also made him wonder what he had done to apparently piss this man off so much.

Afraid to spare him so much as a glance Irukka spoke, "I-I don't know what you mean." It wasn't a lie, Irukka had no idea what he meant by taking the form of a soul he didn't have permission to contain. How could he not have permission to contain what was apparently in his body and to look the way he did? It was his chin being grabbed and feeling the man's nails digging into his skin that finally forced his eyes open a gasp parting his lips.

Such red eyes were not humanly possible, and they would forever be engraved into his mind. And yet... something seemed familiar about the gaze that was practically glaring into his own grey eyes. An overwhelming surge to reach out and cup the man's cheek overtook him but he forced himself to remain still. Hands fisting at his sides as once more the other man demanded answers to questions that Irukka didn't fully understand. The threat to follow made his heart skip a beat, why did this man seem so intent on killing him? What could he have possible done?

Not sure but knowing he had to say something he managed to get a few words out. "I don't understand what you want from me." His voice had managed to get a little stronger compared to when he had spoken moments earlier. "You already know my name... how?" he asked not even sure if that was a smart move. Still his mind was trying to figure out how apparently he could bare a face that wasn't his or posses a soul he apparently had no permission to contain.

Trying to think he swallowed, though the action sounded unusually loud in the sudden quiet of the room. "Who are you? I feel like I know you from somewhere... but that's impossible..." he asked his voice trailing off. The words slipped from him before he could stop them, as if his brain had already decided to ask the question before he had even thought about it.

Katian was impatient when he wanted answers, and now was no different then any other time. When he was just met with more questions he growled "My name is Katian, I was once the most powerful demon to roam the many universes, until they locked me in a mortal casket to spend the rest of my days, entering your mind for your name is a simple parlor trick." Red eyes locked onto the man, his fingers itching to rip him to shreds. Flecks of gold had started to infect Katian's irises though, it was a clear sign Tre'lan was trying to break out, after such a short rest. His muscles were taught with resistance, and his long black hair began showing traces of white.

It would take a few minutes before he could finally do it, but Tre'lan, looking weary as ever forced his way out, causing Katian to sleep. It took almost every bit of his power he had left to do it so when the fallen, short white hair, golden eyes looked at the face in front of him, he spoke a name "Takahata?" He must be seeing things. The white wolf looked around and with a wave of his hand he cleaned up the mess that Katian made with a yawn. He

"You bare the face of a demon that was named Ishno, he was my love. When he died by the hands of an angel I vowed I'd tare down the heavens till they learned my pain." Katian wasn't sure what was staying his hand at this point, if it was his own desire to hold his lover, or Tre'lan. He was a tower of a man, an inch taller than Katian and a pair of getta on his feet put him at roughly 6'7". His golden eyes observed the room, his long grey robes rustling gently like falling snow. "Irruka.... Your name is Irruka... my name is Tre'lan. I used to be an angel. Katian.... will not stop trying to get to you. He believes you stole his lover's soul."

Tre'lan felt at peace, Taka, even if it wasn't him was there in spirit, he could feel the gentle flutter of his soulmate's warmth against his consciousness.

The impatience radiating from the man before him was almost suffocating, even if he had been trying to mask it he wasn't succeeding. Flinching away at the growl he was surprised that his questions were answered. Despite that surprise he was able to see Katian with new eyes, even if this man wanted to kill him at least getting his questions answered eased a little of his fear. 'If he's going to answer my questions... then maybe I can just keep him talking and he wont kill me.' he thought as he watched those red eyes. He was saying that to himself one minute and the next his heart skipped yet another beat, the idea of having such a dangerous person in his home and bedroom didn't ease his fears at all.

Giving a nervous look he realized that something seemed... off. It was then that he began to notice what it was, Katian's hair seemed to be going grey right before his eyes, and if he wasn't mistaken he also seemed to be getting taller. 'I really am going crazy.' Such a thought made him panic inwardly, was he really having a mental breakdown? The name that left the other's lips just made him look at him confused, he didn't recognize the name though he felt something inside of him stir. It seemed strange... to have such feelings for someone he swore he had never met before now. Yet there he sat staring back into those red eyes with something stirring inside of him that actually felt some sense of comfort from the hard eyes looking back at him.

He was stunned a moment later when he was told that he bared the face of a demon that had died by the hands of an angel. What was he even supposed to make of that? Not to mention he also immediately wondered how long ago that had even happened, if it had happened. A moment later it appeared as if a whole knew person was before him, instead of red eyes looking back at him they were gold. A sense of greater comfort seemed to pass through him as their gazes met. Though when he spoke he was even more unsure of not just his own sanity but the other's as well. "How can I steal something that is rightfully mine?" he questioned watching Tre'lan with confused eyes.

If said soul truly was inside of him, then didn't that make it rightfully his? After all how could he even steal a soul? His confusion with the whole situation just seemed to be getting worse and worse with everything that the man said. Not to mention the total transformation, Tre'lan was definitely taller than Katian and appeared to be much more gentle. He didn't fear the man before him like he had feared the other, instead a sense of calm seemed to spread throughout the room. Despite him seeming to be a completely different man the draw he felt to him had not dissipated. If anything it seemed to have grown stronger, almost as if yet another part of him had awoken and craved to be close to him.

Trying to accept everything that had just happened in such a short amount of time seemed impossible. He had so many questions that needed to be answered, and he was so confused. Shaking his head he decided to ask some of his questions, "I don't understand how two beings can share one body... it shouldn't be possible. Does it hurt? When he takes control and when you take it back?" Something told Irukka that Tre'lan was in control 98% of the time, at least it appeared as if that was the case. If Kaitan was a demon, and Tre'lan used to be an angel it only seemed fair that such an assumption was accurate.

Tre'lan laughed, he knew there must have been more questions then just that one. That was the tip of a very large iceburg that he was going to have to deal with. "I didn't say it was rational that Katian thought you stole your soul, I just said that is what he thinks." Tre took a few moments to contemplate the situation before adding on, his golden eyes maintaining their calm, warm gaze. "I think... what likely happened was that you were sent by the heavens. I'm not sure what purpose they expect you'll serve, but we're all just pawns in their great cosmic game... Beyond that, I would have to do research to answer questions of your soul state."

Tre'lan nodded when asked if it hurt to change. "I don't think it hurts, the only time it does is when Katian is using magic to put me to sleep. Sometimes I am just tired, and I sleep because I have to. Sometimes Katian ... well he's Katian, and he's just as powerful as me, more when I'm tired." Tre'lan let his eyes look outside. "Usually I stay to the woods... I haven't been in a city in years." Humanity had changed a lot since the last time he was in a city like this, though it was getting harder to avoid them as they populated every corner they could.

"There are two choices now, Irruka, I can go... trying to get as far away from you as possible to keep Katian from tracking you. Or I can stay, and we can attempt to sort this out." He bit his bottom lip. "I won't lie to you, Katian can likely find you no matter where you run, or where I run.... but I'm willing to try if you'd like to never see either of us again." He moved up to Irruka, his getta clopping on the floor. He touched a lock of the other male's hair, tucking it behind his ear. He said something in the language of the angels, before his hand fell to his side, and his eyes refocused on the boy.

Irukka considered what he was being told, was it possible that it was true? That he was sent by the heavens for whatever purpose? At this point he was still thinking he was going insane, so he figured it wasn't that far off. Trying to convince himself that insane people would probably believe something like that, and it was his mind that was making Tre'lan real and he wasn't truly there. Trying to convince himself that if he reached out his hand would touch nothing but air, even if there was a part of him that truly knew that wasn't the case. Finally the answer to whether or not it hurt was out in the open and he considered that for a moment.

Magic? Was that even a possibility? In this day and age he liked to think it wasn't, magic wasn't real. Groaning he leaned forward resting his face in his hands, this all seemed to strange but he couldn't deny what he had seen that had made his heart race. Swallowing hard he looked back up in time to see Tre'lan looking out the window. Hearing him say he hadn't been in a city in years he followed the other's gaze, "How would you be able to avoid them for so long? Cities seem to be virtually everywhere... or at least a town or something." He asked not truly sure if it was more to himself or a true question for the other man. It just seemed strange that someone would be able to avoid cities and stay in the woods. Though he didn't doubt it could be done he also didn't understand why he would want to.

Stunned when he was told that there were two choices his eyes snapped back to the other man listening as he spoke. For some reason the idea of him leaving wasn't pleasant and made his heart ache. Something in him refused to truly believe he wanted this man gone, and strangely enough it didn't want Katian to leave either. As he moved towards him Irukka felt his breath catch in his throat, only to notice that he was brushing a lock of his hair back and tucking it behind his ear. His ears caught Tre'lan saying something and he instantly felt a sense of calm, his mind seemed to stop racing and he just completely relaxed.

A sense of calm seemed to settle over him as he watched the other man who wasn't that far in front of him. Noticing how close they were didn't unnerve him like he was sure it would have just a moment ago. "I don't want you to leave... either of you." he replied. It seemed a bit strange to say he wanted them both to stay, after all Katian had made it quite clear he wanted to kill him. That wasn't an appealing thought, and having him close was not comforting in that sense, but like with Tre'lan that was a pull to Katian he couldn't deny. "We... can figure things out. I mean... I feel like I've known you both my whole life even if I can swear I've never met either of you before." Saying that seemed strange.

Irukka couldn't deny the feelings though, something had been triggered when they had been near even before he could see either of them. It was a sense of calm, and even a draw to them. He wanted to figure things out, come to a true conclusion about what was going on. Then came the true problem though, if he was going to stay then Irukka would have to find him somewhere to sleep. Glancing around his room he didn't really come up with anything, it was a one bedroom apartment after all. Did that mean he should send him to the couch? Or... should he give the other man the bed and move to the couch himself considering Tre'lan had said he normally slept in the woods.

Sure that a bed would be far more comfortable he cleared his throat, "Ah... if you are going to stay then it's only fair that we figure out where you are going to sleep." Truth be told Irukka wouldn't really mind sharing the bed with the other man, but it was in knowing that sharing it with Tre'lan meant he would also be sharing it with Katian and he wasn't sure how he would handle sleeping in the same bed as someone who wanted to kill him. Mainly because he'd be a bit concerned about waking up to having him over him and trying to do just that. Blushing softly he thought he would give Tre'lan the offers and let him truly decide what he thought was best. "You could... sleep in here with me... I don't really mind if you want to... or you could sleep on the couch... or even I could go sleep on the couch and you can have the room to yourself."

"There is more to the earth than human eyes can see. Places untouched. The angels work very hard to keep it that way." His eyes were soft as he answered. It wasn't for lack of trying to give the humans everything that they thought they could use, it was really about keeping something pure enough, just in case the heavens had to try again. After all Humans were destructive little bastards.

Tre'lan hadn't expected the full feeling of relief that came with the statment that Irruka wanted him to stay. It was coupled with shock, both of them. Well, what a strange human to take on such an arduous task. He wasn't sure what to say at the offer, but he nodded. "You're very brave, to take on such a task as housing us. Perhaps a different place to live would work in our favor, though I'll have to see what I can do. I have mortal money avaliable... so I might be able to arrange something more suitable. A house perhaps." Tre'lan felt strange, the thought of moving from the seclusion of the woods to a house was uncomfortable and he didn't really like the prospect, but if it kept Katian from going on a fucking lunatic rampage... well it just might be worth it.

Tre'lan laughed. At first, it sounded like a growl, though he hoped it wouldn't unnerve the boy too much. But it was easily decernable as a laugh in a short amount of time. "You're kind, Irruka... to offer me your bed, but I don't sleep. When I do sleep, Katian sneaks his way through. Sometimes I get away with it. Most of the time he wakes up and gets as close to civilization as he can... I must have been very tired for him to get this far." Tre'lan ruffled the smaller figure's hair, messing up the lock he'd just tucked back, only to repeat the action of setting it behind his ear again. "So, you should continue sleeping in your bed, and I shall continue doing what I've been doing for hundreds of years. I am happy there is a wooded area near your city... They've claimed that I'm the patron saint of the animals. Funny... how things like that happen..."

Tre'lan glanced out the window again, first light would break soon. "You should rest." He leaned forward, sliding a hand into Irruka's hair and cupping the bottom of his skull in a large hand. He kissed his forehead. "I'll return in a while, and I'll have Reynard with me. He's a white wolf, don't be alarmed, he won't harm you." Tre'lan moved to the door, ducking out. He didn't like the prospect of being around humans when they were all awake and bustling. He knew that he didn't dress like a human and he didn't want to change his attire after thousands of years. Kimonos and getta were comfortable, and he would keep them.

He made quick time to the woods, meeting with Raynard who had been standing sentinel since Katian got out. Disappearing into the woods together Irruka wouldn't head back for civilization for many hours. When he emerged with the wolf again his eyes crossed the city as if he could see through the buildings, taken a little traveled path to Irruka's apartment just after dark, Raynard on his heels the whole way.

Strangely enough what Tre'lan told him made more sense than most would probably think right about now. But Irukka didn't fight it, he wouldn't be surprised if there were places that they couldn't see to in a sense keep them pure and untouched. He knew very well how destructive the human race was, and with Tre'lan before him and Katian not that long ago he could truly believe that angels would keep such places throughout the world. So with a nod he just remained where he was watching the other man and noticing how his facial expressions changed after he had said that he wanted them to stay, both of them.

Curiosity peaked when he was told that the other man didn't sleep, and when he did that was when Katian would sneak his way through. It made him wonder if that was what had happened as to how Katian ended up here, in his apartment intent on killing him. Swallowing hard he just nodded when he was told that he should continue to sleep in his bed. "Hundreds of years..." Irukka repeated in a slightly awed tone. The idea that anyone could be around for that long was still new to him, regardless of what the man was. Eventually he knew such things would not surprise him or amaze him so much, but right now was not one of those moments and he felt so many more questions rising up inside of him. Questions that he apparently would not be able to ask tonight.

Instinctively he wanted to argue when he was told he should rest, but the hand sliding into his hair to cup the base of his skull made his train of thought derail. Instead all he could do was watch him slightly dumbfounded as a kiss was pressed to his forehead. There was no time for him to properly say goodnight or goodbye for that matter before Tre'lan had already left his room and he heard the soft sound of his apartment door shutting. For a moment he remained exactly where he was before he slowly moved to lay back down on his bed. Eyes staring at the wall opposite him, mind racing as it tried to make sense of everything that had happened.

Falling back asleep had not been easy, but when sleep finally did come he slept like a rock. When he woke up to his alarm in the morning he groaned, rolling over and turning it off. He still felt tired but he still had to go to work, pushing himself up into a sitting position he managed to get himself up and out of bed. Heading to the bathroom he showered and dressed in fresh clothes, his mind had all but forgotten the events of last night. The memories still raced around in his head, but he was convinced that it had all just been some strange dream.

Going about his day as usual, work had been long and tiring and he had stopped for some groceries on his way home. By the time he got home night had started to fall, and he was just starting to put things away. It was after everything was put away that he started on dinner, but his mind couldn't stop repeating what Tre'lan had told him the night before. That he would be back in awhile and this time with a wolf, Irukka was a big fan of canines of all species but a wolf in his apartment... that made him a little nervous. Still, he had also been told that the wolf wouldn't hurt him.

Still not one hundred percent sure about what had really happened last night he just went about finishing dinner. When it was done he made himself a plate glancing towards the rest of the food still in the pot. He figured if Tre'lan really did come back tonight and ended up being hungry he could always offer him the rest. After all, he always cooked more than he would eat and leftovers were always shoved into the fridge.
