Morirp
Takeshi Ueda, 172cm, 70 kg Hazel eyes, dark brown hair, usually seen in a suit. Takeshi, it was a strange name for someone of his quiet nature. Brave seemed like a misnomer for someone who was so soft spoken, but the young man was so... ambitious; it could be considered its own type of bravery to the right person. It had landed him the job he did after college - recruited straight out the gates for a position at the palace. It was prestigious to get such an offer, his letter of recommendations had been -GLOWING- from everyone of his professors. He'd been working with the royal family for some time now though, his mother had started working there when he was young and now it was just a family tradition it seemed for them to swear fealty and take on the task of caring for the royal family. Takeshi had started out by helping his mother around the palace, and now that he was older the offer had become to take on the difficult tesk of the Prince's assistant. It meant long hours, it meant no sleep sometimes, and waking the prince up when his lazy butt wanted to stay in bed. Really it meant that a lot of times Takeshi was the bad guy in the Prince's eyes. It didn't stop Takeshi from caring for the prince as if he were a distant lover. Careful precision was put into everything that Takeshi did for the prince, from meal prep to meeting times and making sure the man had enough of everything from time to sleep to leisure time. Which is why when the king put Takeshi in charge of planning a masquerade for the prince to celebrate his return home from a tour in America his heart sank a bit, and at first he just wasn't that into planning the party. Honestly it wasn't the fact that he was looking to throw the prince a party, it was that his father had requested specifically that Takeshi invite every eligible woman that met his strict standards, in the kingdom. He was looking to find his son a wife before the man took the thrown. Takeshi did what he was told, the heartbreaking work was challenging but by the time the party came around everything was just the way it should be, and Takeshi's meticulous eyes were all over the party planning. The prince's favorite colours, his favorite foods. New formal attire was hanging in the prince's room and the ballroom was filled with cheer. Women within a certain age range, or either a specific background or who had managed to gain a degree in specific majors like Takeshi's major "International Relations" were invited. It was still a very... extensive list. But the King had demanded it and Takeshi had obliged. A few hours before the party Takeshi entered the Prince's dressing room, bowing low to his superior "Sire? I know you're suffering from jet lag but you must wake soon, the masquerade is set to take place in just a few short hours, and we must get you ready." He tried to be polite but as the prince would know by now, if he didn't listen to Takeshi the man, in his finely pressed suit and tie, would drag that boy out of the bed by his ear if he had to. Undinevea
Yahiro Kagetsume, 188 cm, 79kg, Well-built. Would always have the royal brooch attached to his left chest. Being born as a royal as well as the first-born of the king and queen, Yahiro was taught to uphold his duties since a young age. As the first prince, it was the most burdensome role in his opinion with having to be a perfect model and example for everyone to be proud of. He could not remember a day that he was given to enjoy himself, always filled with tasks relating on his future role to take the throne. However, the queen, his mother was the only one that treated him normally, giving him humanely traits instead of being a complete puppet of the king. An overbearing father was what he would describe him as, showing not a single kind of compassion towards his son and the rest of his siblings. He had two younger brothers, each of them relieved of the handful duties while only needing to focus on being a 'prince'. The news of him having to be the next heir soon was no surprised with the king's imminent retirement but it surely shocked him at the mention of needing to seek for a bride suited to rule the country at his side, having nothing in his mindset to find love just yet. It was a traditional custome for one to have a bride before being able to fully take control of your own country, learning that fact from one of his lessons from homeschool. If it was his father's wishes for him to get married, he knew that there was no other way than to accept it. Upon his return from America with his personal assistant accompanying him at all times, he could not believe the masquerade was to happen immediately on the next day. It was merely a tour of surveying different kinds of ways yet the lengthy travel was a strain on his body, requiring sufficient rest but unfortunately was not easily granted of that. He was not sure what made his father think he would not get cranky on interacting with guests in his exhausted state, hoping he could manage to not embarrass his family's name and especilly himself. At the beckon of his aide, he slightly groaned before reminding himself of the unwanted consequences. He had decided upon a short nap to rid of the remaining tiredness yet it did not help in any way, wishing something to happen thay will get the ball to be cancelled. While the person was someone he could not help but detest due to his strict methods, Takeshi was the only one he will put full faith on with the exception of his mother. Languidly, he rose himself from the bed yet gave the person an annoyed look. "Prepare my clothes," he ordered the man in a slightly hazy voice, heading over to the dresser in order to have himself be in an acceptable state as he readied himself. Morirp
Takeshi was really quite relieved when the prince decided to get out of bed. Once he'd had to dump ice cream on his head, not only to get him up - but to get him into the shower. Once he was sticky with chocolate he didn't have a choice but to shower ~Oh that had been a lovely sight. The memory flooded his mind and Takeshi turned his head when a blush hit his cheeks. He couldn't think of the prince like that, not right now. Not the night he was meant to be finding a suitable wife. Takeshi sighed as the prince went for his dresser. "You'll need to shower first M'lord, the hairdresser has requested you have wet hair tonight so that when she styles it... it doesn't matter. Shower first, and you should know me well enough by now Yahiro..." Takeshi hardly ever used the prince's first name - it was impolite, worse if the prince didn't like it he could get fired... but it had happened once by accident when Takeshi was frustrated and everything had been fine, now he only used it when he needed to get the Prince's attention. "that I've already got your clothing prepared. I've also brought you a snack, since the opening ceremonies are likely to be long." Takeshi took to making the prince's bed as though it was second nature, the smell of the prince puffing up into his nose as he dropped the covers down. "If you need it, I also stole a bottle of bourbon from the kitchen. It's next to your coffee, I know this night is unlikely to be easy for you... sire." Either of them - he wanted to say it was unlikely to be easy for either of them. But the reality was Takeshi would watch the prince marry some woman, and the only thing he could do was make sure that she was up to the task of being queen. He'd weeded out every moron looking for a crown on a sheet of paper, and managed to invite two hundred women that wanted a chance to dance with the prince for one night, hoping to be the next princess. Takeshi pushed slender fingers through his hair, and let his eyes drift shut for a long moment. When he opened them he was back to being ice-cold, as though he felt nothing. Nothing, he would have to maintain that feeling for the rest of his life if the night went as it was supposed to. Occasionally he and the prince fell into casual conversation, it wasn't unusual, he was the one who was around Yahiro the most, and therefore probably the closest thing he had to a friend. "Are you nervous about tonight?" He questioned softly, he was nervous but Yahiro couldn't know that he was nervous. Yahiro could never know anything he thought. Undinevea
The prince thumped his forehead onto the surface of the dresser, groaning with displeasement as his butler had mentioned on having to shower first before the ball though was too distracted to catch the oddness of his words at the end. In his defense, he had thought to pass with just the state of him that had the evening shower but of course he was required to have his hair wet in order for an easy styling. The mirror in front of him reflected the dishelved look, playfully blowing at the bangs a bit that fell just in between his eyes out of pure habit. Yahiro was unfazed at the call of his name, slightly used to it as he was only comfortable if his assistant would use it when they were alone. He would say that it was rather similar feeling to having a friend displaying closeness, the loneliness would devour him if Takeshi was only at his side as a personal assistant onf his. Admitting that fact was something he had never and would not rather do, letting it be as he deemed it much more appropriate but would reprimand the man if he were to address him in such a way in front of others. After a few moments did he opened his mouth, wording his clear annoyance to his personal assitant. "Fine," was all he said before walking over to the wardrobe to get hold of his towel, listening to anything else his personal assistant has to say all the while. The bathroom being just inside the same room was quite convinient, not minding to take his time though he was required to be hurrying. Seeing that the man has more to say, he stood there and watched him making his bed all so professional like without a single crease forming on the sheets. At the abrupt question, the prince eyed the man carefully and slightly shook his head while mouthing out a 'no'. Knowing full well of his own attempt to lie and how Takeshi seemed to usually be able to see through it, his eyes dropped to the ground along with his shoulders. "That should be obvious. The woman I'm going to wed should only meet my father's standards and never mine. Really, what if I would only fall in love with a mere commoner," he murmured a bit dissapointingly to his only companion, somewhat confiding his problems as there was no other shoulders for him to lean on. At his age, his mother was not a choice anymore as he needed to grow up and be mature in front of her eyes. Though, the attention his brothers had received from her had made him envious of them, wishing to return back in time to the moment where he could indulge himself to the warmth of his own mother. With that, he did not think twice to enter the showers and left Takeshi alone to his devices. It did not take long for him to step back into the same room with being refreshed, half naked with only the towel covering his lower body. He put on the clothes that was readied for him with much grace, uncaring of the other's presence as he focused on only that. Soon enough, he went over to the table that had his coffee and snacks. "I assume the stylist is already prepared at the moment?" he questioned though did not look at the butler's way, already taking his seat as he was having the light meal. Morirp
Takeshi listened to the prince's woes, concealing his own concerns. "If it is of any comfort M'lord, I took care when making the invitations out that the women that will be here tonight should, with all my best efforts, meet your standards as well as your father's. As for loving a commoner... we cannot hope that this world would be so kind to let you love who you desire most. Such is the life you've been born into." With the prince in the shower Takeshi took to using his cell phone to text out to several people that the prince was awake and would be getting ready in moments. The hairstylist was to be on her way up to the prince's room and any last minute preparations were to be completed. The sound of the shower was a bit like falling rain, and Takeshi found the sound soothing. He took a few moments to adjust his red tie, making sure it was straight and his black vest. He straightened out his own hair and glanced in a nearby mirror, making sure his appearance was up to par. With that the assistant went to a nearby closet, pulling out the crown that was used for such formal but active occasions, setting it on a cloth, then one of the royal broaches the Prince wore. He took to polishing the items carefully just as the prince came out of the shower. A quick glance up at the dripping wet body was all Takeshi needed to blush before he turned away, hiding the redness of his cheeks. "She's on her way up now sire, your father has demanded you cut your hair for the night, but I made sure she knows not to take too much, just enough to uncover your eyes. If you'd prefer she do something else, than just inform her of what you'd like." Takeshi took a lot of care and pride in his work. Diligently tasked with making sure that the Prince's life was as easy as he could possibly make it, despite the enormous pressure of a kingdom and a company to be inherited.
