With that being said. I was hoping that your character would have my characters proper eye color. I have it set so that Gareth has the mate of someone from Quig.

 

So for example people of Quig of emerald green eyes and the people of Sabbas have black eyes-- Simply switch them and my character has the emerald eyes, and your character has black eyes. This is basically for the story to progress. So that it's easier to tell who they are suppose to be mates with basically (kind of like having the same birthmark).

 

Y/C doesn't have to be from Quig, nor have the physical description... All it needs is consistency... So if you say you want brown hair (has to have black eyes no matter what, Gareth is from Sabbas ((read below)) but want to live in Vynnaus- then we can do that. Just tell me (the Vynnaus eye color is brownish orange- that's the color Gareth would have... If you don't understand then you probably shouldn't post here.)

There are a total of 8 continents that exist in the world of Ethra. Traeh, Jyufir, Kainev, Vynnaus, Quig, Leehix, Monroth, and Sabbas. Each continent was fairly secluded from one another. The lands were decently peaceful. There is no religion in these lands, only magic.

Traeh: This is the main country. This is the biggest continent. Most of the merchants sell things here. Schools of magic are held here. Festivals of all sorts are held here. These people tend to have special magic abilities. Many people travel and live here.

Looks: These people typically have brown eyes, usually brownish hair, lightly tanned. Medium height, medium weight, medium build.

 

Jyufir: The northernmost part of Ethra, medium size. The weather here tends to be the coldest.

Looks: These people tend to have blue eyes, usually white hair, pale skin. Taller than Traeh people, slender build and weight.

 

Kainev: The third biggest country, closest to Vynnaus. They have many plains and very flat lands. These people enjoy farming. Though, these people usually are animal lovers, often herding varieties of animals and beasts.

Looks: These people typically have hazel eyes, usually ginger hair, freckles. Slender, tall, thick build, lightweight.

 

Vynnaus: The second smallest country. These people usually farm as well, on a smaller scale. Basically a smaller version of Kainev.

Looks: These people usually have brownish orange eyes, usually also have ginger hair, freckles. Slender, medium height, medium build, lightweight.

 

Quig: The second biggest country. This would be the second most popular country, right under Traeh. Basically a smaller version of Traeh.

Looks: These people tend to have emerald green eyes, usually blond hair, fair skin. They are built like the people of Traeh.

 

Leehix: Medium sized country, closest to Traeh. The land bears many fruits. People here are very carefree and tend to sleep long hours. Has many opportunities equal to that of Traeh.

Looks: These people usually have blueish violet eyes, usually have grey hair, freckles. Short, medium weight, little build.

 

Monroth: This continent is the smallest. People go here to relax. It is considered to be the desired travel destination. Most would consider this place the idea location for vacation. Sandy with many beaches.

Looks: These people usually have dark brown eyes, brown super curly hair, tanned skin. Short to medium height, nice build and medium weight.

 

Sabbas: This continents is the southernmost continent, medium sized, farthest away. No one likes to go here. The Sabbians who live there are hardly ever seen. Some believe that they are extinct. Sabbas is famous for its thick forests. Many who enter do not ever return. The continent itself is usually all fogged up because of an ancient volcano that rumbles quietly. It is unknown what Sabbians' abilities are, as their people never leave the continent. They are self sustained and highly mysterious.

Looks: These people have Black eyes, usually Black hair. Variation of height, weight and build.

Bio: Gareth was born on a medium continent called Sabbas. His people are very secluded, all having black hair and black eyes (except for him, he has emerald, or other). HIs people have the ability to shapeshift into dragons. Every year, when the festival occurs on the continent of Traeh, a select few fly around all of the continents in a race. Whoever returns first gets a grand prize. Those who simply return are warmly welcomed. And those who never return are presumed dead. Of course the people of Sabbas knew about the other people, the other continents... They were just not interested in mingling. They were the biggest introverts of Ethra.

Name : Sougon

Nickname: Sou (Typically only by his older sister)

Gender: Male

Age: 23

Occupation: None

 

Bio: Sougon was born on the continent of Quig where most of the people tend to be merchants in the creation of things like cloth, clothes, jewelry, magic items of all kinds, and other homey and extravagant items. (They do not produce food as they are not a farming continent.) Typically, these items are brought to Traeh where they are sold and trades off to the people.

 

The people of Quig typically have blonde hair and emerald eyes, however, Sougon does not. His hair is blond with a strange green tint in the bottom, but he has extremely dark grey eyes that look black unless inspected at very close range. The people here also have the power of gravity manipulation. They can increase or decrease the mount of gravity over an object or a given area. Each person has their own radius depending on age and strength but over all, the power is pretty straight forward. Being merchants, gravity manipulation is extremely helpful in lifting and moving heavy objects. They don't typically increase gravity for any reason except to stop criminals and if they lose their tempers which is fairly uncommon.

 

Sougon was raised by his older sister and his father ever since he was about ten. His mother had died of a strange accident that happened inside her workplace where she would help organize packages for certain merchants. No one knows why but a large crate fell from a higher shelf without anyone noticing and crushed her. There was no blame and people just said that it wasn't pushed far enough back on the shelf. His sister is 6 years older than him and extremely mature. Her powers for gravity manipulation developed faster than most while Sougon's didn't. Of course, his father believes it was his sister's fault because whenever he wanted to do something, she would do it for him and help out.

 

His father was an extremely successful merchant. However, he was unusually greedy and always looking for more and more money. He was one of the only merchants that traded and sold wine so of course, his clients were typically high class and willing to pay a high price for good wine. He'd even gone so far as to force his son Sougon into his business to keep it up and so that he may retire and never have to worry about losing money. Of course, his methods weren't always the most humane and he certainly had the worst temper in all of Quig. Because of this, Sougon's father would often lose control and had nearly crushed his own son using gravity manipulation. Thankfully, his sister was around to sing and help calm their father down or even use her own powers to fight back.

 

Eventually, Sougon got to developing his powers a few years after others his age and his sister went from babying him to mentoring him and helping him catch up. They had a close relationship but sometimes his sister would act too motherly and he'd tell her to knock it off.

 

When he was about 16, Sougon confronted his father head on and refused to be the merchant that he was. Besides, Sougon had more interest in magical weapons and their development than wine. Still, he preferred just to live his life and to go around exploring other countries without being tied down to a large carriage full of goods or just working in one place. Of course, Sougon's father wasn't thrilled and they had a terrible falling out where Sougon almost used his powers to take his father down for good. However, that was something his father would do so he in turn said, "I'd rather be kicked out of the country and treated as an outcast than to be like you when I grow up."

 

During festivals, Sougon would always travel to Traeh to have a good time and to watch the dragons of Sabbas race. He always wanted to be able to fly. While he probably could using his powers, it wouldn't be the same as having wings that could carry you anywhere. It was like the dragons of Sabbas didn't have to worry about the struggles of the other countries and could just enjoy their lives, though they probably had their own problems to deal with.

 

[PERSONALITY]

Sougon is a pretty laid back and open minded kind of guy. He loves to feel free is very kind and has a long fuse. There are few things that can really anger him and he just wants to be outside and exploring. While living in a major productions city of sorts, he wants to go out to the forests or travel uncharted areas and explore what has never been explored before. He also wishes that he could swim. He cares for others and wants to help just as his sister has helped him over the years.
