Name: Kiran

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Race: Shapeshifter

Species: Black Panther

Description: Raven hair, emerald bluish green slit eyes, pale skin. He has long black nails/claws that can extend and retract at will. Slit in his eyes will narrow and broaden depending on how far a target his eyes are focusing on.

Likes: The forest in which he lives in. Being alone. Hunting.

Dislikes: Noise. Humans. Snakes.

Personality: Bad-tempered and easily angered. Probably a little dense since he doesn't understand most stuff having lived in the forest his whole life. Very wary and cautious of new things.

Short bio: He had been alone ever since he first remembered. Kiran has no knowledge of whether he has any kin nor know of his origin. Since he had first known consciousness, he lived in the forest he woke up in. He lived pretty contentedly, fending for himself in the wild and eventually, most creatures left him alone. Except for the occasional noise human travellers made, Kiran avoided them whenever he could, he had no other problems.

-----------------------------------------------------

Opening post:

His four legs padded silently across the field of tall grass, ear pricking at the tiniest movement. Muscles tensed in his crouched position, Kiran slowly crept closer towards the herd of wild deers. Closer...just a little closer. The deers had no knowledge of his presence, minding their own business and grazing the grass. Kiran slowly approached and at the last second pounced out from the tall grass. Despite being abnormally large in size, he was quicker than any other feline. The deers scattered immediately, desperate to escape his jaws. They had been taken by surprise and thus was slow in reacting. That was enough for Kiran to chomp down on the neck of their youngest. The young doe squeal in pain, struggling in vain. Another deer paused in its attempted escape and let out a high pitched squeal at the captured doe. It was probably its mother but Kiran didn't have the mood to feel sorry for them. Such was the food chain, in this forest, he was the strongest....and the strongest always survives.

The rest of the herd escaped successfully but Kiran only focused on the meal before him. Blood splattered on his dark hide as he feasted on the young doe hungrily. Just as quickly, he finished his meal and headed towards the lake to wash himself. The afternoon was humid but the water was comfortably warm. Kiran stepped into its midst, swimming deeper to the middle where he dunked his head under the water. A few moments later, he stepped out of the lake and shook himself dry.

At that exact moment, Kiran suddenly heard the sound of something slicing through the wind, heading for him at great speed. He jumped away from his original spot in alarm. An arrow embedded itself in the ground where he stood before. A split second later than before, it would have gotten him instead. Kiran's head shot to the direction where the arrow came from and his eyes zoomed in on the humans hiding behind the bushes. One of them had already nocked another arrow into his bow. It seems that they were here for him specifically rather than hunting leisurely. His ears picked up on their comversation. "Such a large panther, his fur will surely bring us a fortune."

Kiran bared his teeth at them and turned to run in another direction. With the lake behind him, he couldn't escape to the opposite direction. The humans chased after him on horses. Kiran was fast, but he didn't have the stamina that horses possessed, soon they caught up. Anyone could tell that they weren't going to give up on skinning him. Kiran stopped running and turned to face his assailants, hissing and spitting. The horses had enough sense to stop running as well, refusing to approach him further. But the distance between them wasn't enough for Kiran to dodge the next arrow that came for him. It lodged in his flank and he cried out in pain. Apparantly, that was the last straw. Something within him broke and his eyes flashed with malice. With a snarl, Kiran pounced and attacked the humans. The horses reared up in fright and their riders fell off, running off without the humans. Kiran took no noticed of this and attacked the man closer to him. He was much too fast for the humans to even get up and run. Within seconds, every single one lay on the blood-soak earth, mauled beyond recognition.

Kiran stood in the midst of the massacre, breathing heavily, too weak to move even a muscle. He had lost too much blood to even maintain his form. With a thud, he fell on his side, knocked out immediately. His form automatically shifted into a form much like the humans he killed. His soft raven locks splayed across the ground, emerald blue eyes closed, arrow lodged in the hip of his naked lean form. Kiran lay there without moving for an unknown period of time.

Name: Ryan

Age: 22

Gender: Male

Race: Shapeshifter

Species: Any form he chooses, preferably a wolf.

Description: light brown hair, golden eyes which changes to a darker color when he gets angry.

Likes: Nature. People. Hunting and playing in his other forms. Sword fighting.

Dislikes: Liars. Trophy hunters. Hurting others.

Personality: He is kind and caring. Good at some reading people. He has a strong confident aura leaving no doubt that he got strength. When he is mad it no joke.

Short bio: Raised by nomads, until he joined the resistance to then later becoming the leader, they fought for five years before the human king surrendered. Ryan was crowned king by his people at an aged of 19.

He got three loyal friends who are the people he trust the most, they are also the ones who helps him manage his temper when needed.

He got an old scar over his chest and hip making him look dangerous. But he tries to not let it bother him, since it is the way of a solder.

The horse breathed heavily beneath him as they rode, knowing the others following close behind him.

A tip had told them that there would be trophy hunter in the woods at their external borders. It wasn’t a place many came, which made it an ideal place for human to hunt magical creatures.

The smoke from a bonfire had betrayed the hunter’s whereabouts, but Ryan were still only able to see the smoke in the distance and even on horses it had taken some time before they had reached the place.

There hadn’t been anyone feeding the fire in a long time, but judging by the backpack and stuf they had left lying, it looked as if they would come back.

He was disgusted by the cadavers that were thrown off some distance from the camp. He saw how the skins and heads lay out to dry while the ground soaked with the creature’s blue- greyish blood. Like the earth mourned its children.

He left four soldiers to stay back at camp, while he and Tama with two other soldiers rode out to find those murders hunter.

He used his connection to the ground to listening for signs, while Tama ran slightly ahead much like a hunting dog sniffing the wind with his shepherd dogears pointing ahead.

After a some way from the camp, Ryan feel something wrong, he looked to Tama who looked back at him.

"I smell human blood, and a lot of it" Tama growled, his fur in the neck was raised.

An uneasy feeling pulled at Ryan, his senses told him to ride a little farther west, something out there made him restless. He changed course following his instinct, the others were still right behind him.

A sure sign that they were approaching was the smell of humans which grow more sharp and strong, soon they all stood in front a pool of blood.

Ryan saw mutilated bodies with large flesh wounds through their camouflage clothing.

"Look for survivors" Ryan shouted while jumping off the horse.

”Maybe a big animal did this? It had to be huge!” The bird man gasped from his horse.

Ryan walked between the dead bodies, there were 6 Hunter in total. He was curious at what might had done this. Even though he had no love for these people, this was not a fate he wished anyone.

He then saw something that stood out. A naked body of a young man greased in dirt and blood.

Ryan went to his knees at the boy’s sid. This body wasn’t like the others, still just a boy and no claw marks. Ryan felt after the boy's pulse and fund one.

His inner spirit jumped for joy, at the feeling of a weak pulse. "HERE!" He shouted as he gently turned the boy on to his back. He cut his teeth when he noticed the arrow poking out of the boy's side. The boy didn’t look much older the about 18 years, the black raven hair was sticky on the boy's face.

"How bad is it?” Tama asked, as he walked over to Ryan.

”We need a healer.”

Tama shook his head "That doesn’t work on humans, you know this."

"But this boy is no human!" Ryan stretched out his hand toward Tama so that his dog nose could smell it.

”Shit!”

"I can take the arrow out, but it wouldn’t be pleasant for him, how far away is the barn?"

”Not far on horseback "Tama replied.

Ryan had to take the arrow out now, he couldn’t let the arrow stay in while they rode, it would tear the inside of him, only making it go deeper.

Ryan took his dagger and slid it into the arrow wound to keep it open, he hoped that there was no internal bleeding.

He gently but firmly twisted the arrowhead up, tilted it back and forth to get free while Tama held down at the boy who body made small twitch in agony.

When the arrow slid out, used Ryan his belt to keep pressure on the wound. "I’m taking him back with me."

Tama understood and nodded before helping Ryan carry the boy up on to Ryan's horse

"Burn the dead and burn their camp before to go back!" He shouted over the shoulder as he turned horse and headed back forwards their own camp.

His main concern was the boy. He just couldn’t die!

The boy was lucky of being unconscious most of the ride, it was the hurting Ryan everytime he heard a painful moan, or a hissing breathing for the young one in his arms. Ryan had wrapped a blanket around him, but the feet were still bare.

When they finally reached the small barn, he jumped down then gently carrying the boy inside. The house itself had been too dilapidated to be in, but the barn was closing off the wind and rain, and there had still been plenty of soft hay to lie on as well as food for the horses.

He carefully laid the boy down on a blanked, the same one he had slept on the night before which was folded out over the hay.

He could now wash and clearer look through the wound, he was no healer, but his experience in the army had taught him a lot. There was a minor internal bleeding, for that he needed a healer, but for the time being he could make it more comfortable by giving the boy pain-relieving herbs until they found one.

The sun was already going down, they wouldn’t be going until tomorrow, and after such a day the horses needed some rest.

Ryan let the blanket around the boy's naked body before he lit a fire outside to heat some water.

When the others came back, had Ryan washed and dressings the boy wound with the pain-relieving herbs, he sad still looking the boy as Tama came quietly up to him.

"Well he make it?" Tama whispered in concern, it was strange to hear him talk like that, but understood then that Tama was concerned of Ryan as well.

It was strange, he had often been in tough situations, but this one was really getting to him. Ryan felt an urge need to protected the younger man, much more than he had with anyone else in the past.

”I hope so… He is just a boy”

Tama laugh "You aren't not much older yourself"

"No?... Sometimes it feels like it."

Ryan looked at the soldiers, the two bird men polished their feathers, the centaur pulled the horses into the barn and the three dogs from Tama's house lay in the hay, they were so exhausting that even their tails lay limply. They had all done a great job.

After a bit time were they all except the guards sleeping. Ryan took another blanket and lay near the boy, but not too close.

Looking at the raven black hair and hearing the boys slow breathing, made him dozed off into sleep…

Amidst his subconsciousness, Kiran's senses refused to rest after the earlier ordeal. He became vaguely aware of foreign footsteps entering the red zone. But his body had been completely depleted of strength to move even a finger. He hadn't a single choice but to lay there helplessly. After a while, he felt foreign hands touching his body and almost growled. His senses were on overdrive and it was just to bad that he was too weak to get up and claw at the person touching him. Yet at the same time, he thought that even if he did have strength, it wouldn't be such a good idea. These people probably weren't human.

It was at that moment that he felt the intense pain in his side. His body spasmed once and he managed a whimper. What on earth were they doing to him?! Kiran's mind was in turmoil, he wanted to run so badly. Even the belt that had been tied around his side hurt him badly. He felt his body being lifted up and placed onto the back of another animal from what his nose could tell. Probably one of those called horses. The ride was rough, with every jerk hurting him. But it ended sooner than he thought, relieving him to no end.

He was brought into a foreign building which had a somewhat stale smell. He felt the other shapeshifter doing something to his wound, treating it as far as he could tell. But just this wouldn't be enough for Kiran to let down his guard, he had been through far too much to randomly trust outsiders. Finally he heard another voice, though his mind was too boggled to make out a thing of what they were saying.

Kiran was tired and so far, they hadn't done anything to hurt him. Perhaps he could sleep for just a while. With that thought, his mind blanked out.

When Kiran awoke, the place was silent and still with the exception of still-breathing from the people around him. His eyes opened, emerald blue eyes that seemed to glow in the dark darted around to observe the surroundings. Finally, they landed on a man that was sleeping particularly close to him. Kiran's breathing started to get hectic as his heart pounded harder against his chest. His mind couldn't think. The only thing that he could register was that there was someone close to him in a foreign place. After a few seconds, Kiran finally managed to let out a hiss and jumped away from the man, the blanket fell from his body.

In a panick, he looked around the barn for the entrance. His eyes landed on another man and three dogs. Dogs! This truly wasn't his day. He finally located the entrance and bolted.

Ryan awoke by the hiss the boy let out, he was surprised the young man had enough strength in him to stand.

His inner creature whimpered as he saw the boy running away from him.

Tama had awoken as well, as the young man bolted through the entrance, he grabbed for his sword.

Ryan gave him a sign not to move as he himself went after the boy, he would seriously hurt himself worse if he did more then his body could handle.

He had seen those eyes, wide, scared and of course lots of pain, there was no telling what he might do.

Ryan had just enough time to take on his boots and left without taking his jacked, he was wearing a loose shirt and his trousers but the weather wasn't cold to night.

The guards looked at him confused. Well he couldn't blame them. one of then pointed the way the boy had run of to.

"good work you two, I will just be going for a minute."

"You sure you don't need any help you're majesty?" The centaur asked.

"No. I'll take care of this, just stand you're post gentlemen."

"Yes, Sir."

Ryan knew that the boy couldn't have gone far, the internal bleeding would drain him for most of his energy, and he had already lost a lot of blod.

He knew that he would find the boy faster i his wolf form, but he didn't want to seem like a threat to the boy.

when Ryan found him he acted calmly.

"Don't worry no one wants to hurt you... I could never hurt you..." Ryan knelt down on the ground with his palms toward the young shifter, not knowing if he understood him.

A stronger sign had been to exposed his neck, but he couldn't do that. After all the boy was younger then him. Ryan was like his people alpha.

He couldn't submit.

Kiran panted as he ran, body too weak to even pick up much speed. Despite it not being a cold night, the winds that blew past his naked body still made him shiver. His already minimal strength from resting was already depleting quickly but Kiran had no intention of stopping. He shifted into his panther to minimize even a little of the cold. But finally, he couldn't take it. He stopped running but forced himself to stay standing instead of collapsing right there and then.

His trembling legs slowly turned around to face the unknown shifter that had caught up with him. He stayed on his hunches, ready to bolt again despite how tired he was should the man make any sudden movements. He watched as the other knelt to the ground and reached out his hands. At this, Kiran tensed slightly. He stayed there for a while, just staring at the man before him, analysing him for any signs of deception. The humans before had left Kiran in a state of trauma and he just couldn't think straight. As of now, he couldn't trust anyone, not even this man who didn't seem like he wanted to hurt him.

Kiran's legs trembled again, he really couldn't stand anymore. The earlier blood loss left him extremely weak and honestly, Kiran wasn't sure if he could stay conscious if he continued to deplete his strength. Slowly, but cautiously, Kiran bent his four paws to sit down. As he did so, his eyes never left the other shifter, daring him to take even a step closer. He didn't want anyone to come even a foot closer to him. Since young, he enjoyed being alone and after all that he has been through, he certainly wouldn't allow anyone to come close.

Ryan didn't try to move any closer, anyone knew that a wounded animal was the most deadliest, and a shifter made it even more so.

He could see the panther weakened as it sad, but the shifter was still to tens and afraid so show it. Ryan knew that the big cat didn't trust him, and he respected that, even through he had to suppress the creature inside from coming out.

They stay like this for what seamed like hours. The night sky started turning from dark blue into purple with stripes of orange clouds.

"I don't know if you can understand me but your little run might have made your condition worse. It's not something that can heal itself, you need a healer for your inner wounds, or you will get deadly sick."

"I know you don't trust me, and you don't haft to, but you haft to come with us to get you a healer, after that you can go wherever you want."

Kiran kept his eyes trained on the other shifter even as time slowly passed. The wound in his side stung badly and made it difficult for him to stay awake. Dawn was slowly approaching while the two of them sat there, still as a statue. That was when the shifter started to speak. Kiran's ears twitched a little, other than that, he made no other movement to imply that he was listening.

When the man finished speaking, Kiran took a moment to process what he had just heard. Did this person truly care for his well being? Or was he being tricked into following him? Kiran stared straight into the man's eyes, there was nothing but sincerity displayed in those golden orbs. He broke their eye contact and looked at the ground. Judging by how he really wasn't in the position to reject, perhaps he could trust this man a little. If he really turned out to be deceived, he could only blame his own misjudgement.

Kiran shifted his eyes back to the man and slowly placed his head on top of his paws, in a resting position. Then he slowly closed his eyes in consent to be treated and finally allow himself to lose consciousness.

As the panther lost consciousness, it turned back into the boy, being too weaken to maintain his other form.

Now the boy lay befor him naked on the ground again, he hoped that this wouldn't become a habit on they journey.

He moved over to the naked body and carefully picked it up.

"I know you're there Tama, stop watching and give me something to cover him with." Ryan hadn't nether smelt or heard the man, but he had known the guy for 7 years now. That guy was too curious for his own good at times.

He now heard steps from the forest floor and soon Tama stepped forward, with Ryan jacked in hand. "Well you said only a few minutes, not hours. You could had said that you were going to a staring match with a panther. The only reason I stayed was to see who did win, my bet was on the panther." Tama said as he lay Ryan jacked over the boy.

"You're unbelievable!"

"No your majesty, I really believed that he would win, you blinked more times then him, maybe a redo?"

Ryan scowl at Tama, the guy just gave him a innocent smile.

"The next city is about a day from here right? Do we know if they have a healer?" Ryan asked switching for the more serious issue and started walking back forwards the barn.

"Maybe... most healers stays by the capital, if it's so, it could take us tree days." Tama said sadly as he followed. "How long do you think he will last?"

"After this? I have no idea. His wound are bleeding again and I think he's starting to get a feber." Ryan sigh, how difficult it had all become.

Ryan had sent the two bird men ahead of them, they were to report back if there was an healer in the city. That alone would spare them a lot of time, if they really needed to ride forwards the capital.

Ryan had tried to make the boy as comfortable as possible, even got him some clothes, though those were much to big for him. Nadin, Ryan's stallion was a sweet creature and quickly understood that he had to be carefully when carrying the boy on his back.

Ryan had giving the boy some sleeping herbs to help him sleep through the ride, he repeated the treatment every second hour, until they were at the place they were going to meet up with the soldiers.

"There they are!" one of the dogs barked, pointing ahead to a carriage with tree people next to it, Ryan know two of them to be the bird men.

"My lord, there were no healer in the city, but this lady Miss. Gina said that she could be of help."

"Are you able to heal internal wounds?" Ryan asked looking at the blond girl in a light green dress.

"No your lordship, I'm not yet trained for that, but I can stabilizing it and keep the feber down." She answered. True enough that would give them enough time to reach the capital.

"What would you want in return, my lady?"

"Just a lift my lord, I wishes to train my gift in the capital."

Ryan smiled he didn't had much time to think, the boy was already starting to away.

"It that your carriage?"

"yes my lord, but the horse aren't, your men asked me if they could use it, and I saw why not, it will be more comfortable for the young man" Miss. Gina said smiling hopefully at him.

"I would be in your debt for your help Miss. Gina, but would you let this man stay in it alone if possible? He is... Well not particularly trusting anyone, and I didn't want you hurt cause of it."

"That's fair enough, as long as it doesn't rain"

Ryan placed the boy in the carriage and Gian used her gift as promised, he was still a little feverish as they were set in motion. Ryan stayed in the carriage until the boy would wake up, he would properly be frightened, but Ryan would be there to calm him if needed.

Kiran didn't know how long he slept. When he awoke, the first thing he noticed was the clothes on his body. He had never worn clothes before considering how he lived his whole life in the forest. His fur kept him warm and he never saw the need to cover up. These unknown fabrics felt unfamiliar but they weren't irritable in the least, though they were a little too big for him

The next thing....or rather someone he noticed, was the familiar golden eyed man from before. Kiran tensed at this. They were in some kind of box...which was moving. The enclosed space forced them to be closer than Kiran would have wanted. Kiran made no sudden movements though. He felt weak, warm, much like the fever he had when he was younger...perhaps this was the same thing.

Before the man noticed he was awake, Kiran took the time to scrutinise him. The pain in his wound wasn't too bad now and Kiran could think clearly. The shifter had a mop of brown hair and golden eyes. Kiran didn't know what kind of an animal he was but something about the man told him that he wasn't just an ordinary shifter. But now that he had a closer look, Kiran found the man to be particularly handsome.

Snapping out of his thoughts, Kiran shook his head and started to sit up. "Where are we going?" He finally spoke for the first time.

Ryan smiled as the boy awoke, the looked to take it very calmly. But when he spoke, Ryan was amazed by his voice, like hearing a song for the first time, so beautiful was all he could think. He almost didn't get the question. "We are going to the capital..." Ryan answered immediately, not needing to hid where they were heading.

"We tried finding a healer in the closets city, but there were no one, only a woman with vey little experience in healing, she is coming with us. She was able to stabilize your condition, but how are you feeling?

"I will be out your way, but you may have to share this space with the lady sometime, since this is her carriged, but as I understod, only if it bad weather. We thought this would be more comfortable for you then on a hores"" He was really talking to much now.

"You shouldn't be moving to much, but if it gets to trapped in here, you can pull the curtains aside, like this." Ryan showed him how to open an close the curtains by pulling gently in a string. "When we are reasting you can come out if you want, and if you need anything please call me."

"OH right, and my name is Ryan... what's yours?

Kiran broke eye contact with the man and looked at his feet. He had to admit that perhaps the smile of the handsome man before him had somehow made his heart pound a little. Though he covered that with an expression of thought. The capital.... Kiran had never heard of such a place but he assumed that it was where they could find a healer to heal his wounds. Then he could be on his way. Kiran didn't reply to the man's insistent questions, a headache had suddenly hit and he winced instead. He stiffened when he heard that there was a possibility that this Gina person would share a carriage with him. Of course he knew that this carriage belonged to her and that he was the one intruding. Still, he didn't feel comfortable with an unfamiliar face. He had difficulty trusting this man as is, was it possible to not run in the presence of another?

"I decide for myself whether she can be trusted or not," he replied tersely, the headache already dampening his mood. He was grateful really, that they even bothered to let him rest comfortably. But it was hard to decide whether any of these gestures held a motive. Kiran watched as the man demonstrated how to open the curtains and nodded. Admittedly, the sunlight that streamed through the window helped him relax. "Leave it that way please."

When the man introduced himself, Kiran hesitated to reveal his name. But it was just a name wasn't it? When Kiran left, they wouldn't see each other again for that name to be used. At that thought, his heart panged painfully for some reason. He didn't understand that feeling but ignored it. "Kiran," he replied shortly after some time. The name felt foreign on his tongue, having said it for the first time. It was the very first time he was introducing himself, the very first time he was using it and a strange emotion stirred within him. It didn't feel bad if he had to be honest. Kiran had been alone his whole life and obviously he had given himself this name. In the beginning, he had thought it to be useless since there was no one to call him by that name. But now that he had introduced himself to someone, somehow, just a little, he wanted to hear this person call him by his name.

"Kiran..." Ryan said thougtful, he had never heard such a name before, but thought that it suited him well. "I like it."

He was happy that Kiran had trusted him enought to giv him his a name, that alone was a huge step in Ryan's eyes.

The boy might not trust Ryan much be on that, but is was a start right. Something in Ryan wanted tha young man to trust him, like a poppy yearning to please.

It was strange, but at the sometime he didn't mind, the boy needed help and he could giv that, being of his health or mental state, Ryan wanted to help him.

"As I said before you don't haft to trust anyone, just that we are going to get you well. I all ready told Gina to ekspert such, but she still needs to tread you for the next couple of days, befor we gets to the capital. Ryan said smiling, wacthing as the boy tog it in. Ryan looked at his feber blushed face and the black bed hair which curled a bit. Despite the boys protective way of 'Don't trust others' he was pretty cut looking as he was.

Ryan rose careful not to scar Kiran befor opening the carriage's door, it was stil moving but it didn't matter.

Nadin walked over to him as soon as the horse saw his master.

"Remember you can call if anything" Ryan gav Kiran a wink beforhe jumped on Nadin and closed the door after him.

The moment Ryan repeated his name, Kiran felt his face flush. He didn't know why it happened but fortunately, the flush caused by his fever covered it. Kiran lifted his feet onto the seat and hugged his knees closer to his body, nodding at the shifter's next words. Kiran didn't speak anymore. He couldn't trust himself to not stutter if he did. Though when Ryan opened the door of the carriage, Kiran lifted his head in question. The carriage was still moving, where was he going? It wasn't until he saw the horse did he remember Ryan mentioning that he wouldn't stay. His eyes remained glued to the door after Ryan closed it. Did that guy.... just winked at him? His mind blanked out after that.

A full three minutes later, Kiran turned his head to stare out the window. The wink didn't mean anything, Kiran didn't know why he was getting so flustered over it. Probably because an attractive guy like Ryan did it but that was it. After all, he was leaving after he got his wounds treated. Kiran watched as the scenery went by, the carriage jerking a little every now and then from the rocky path. How long more before they reached their destination? He didn't like sitting for so long.

It wasn't until the evening did Kiran hear his stomach grumbling. Right, he hadn't eaten since the previous day. The girl that Ryan mentioned, Gina, had entered a few times to check on his condition. At first he had been cautious, and so did she. But sensing no malice from her, he allowed her to examine him without hurting her. Now he regretted not asking her for food during the few times she came in. He didn't feel comfortable with sticking his head out the window to ask Ryan either. Placing his hand against his stomach to cease the rumbling, Kiran closed his eyes and attempted to sleep.

Ryan caught Gina as she was done with the ladest tjek up.

"How is he?"

"He are fine for now my lord, he is tired from the lost of blood, and his wound looks bad, but he is stronger the he looks. He will make it." Gina send him a smile befor heading back to her seat up front the carriage.

He looked at the men, most of them was eating their provisions. Ryan was hit by the feeling of guilt, Kiran had to be hungry about now.

The boy had been sleeping most of the day, not getting anything to neither eat or drink. Fuck he really out did himself didn't he!

Nadin was gass as Ryan got down, he looked in to his saddle bag to finde som dried meat and a bread made with lots of health herbs and berries.

The bread looked bad ind those green colores, it smelt to, but besides that it tasted really good, much like cake. And you didn't have't to eat a lot befor you felt full.

He also grabt a full water dottle befor knocking on the door. No answer?

Ryan careful opened the door, and saw Kiran sleeping inside.

He was cute as he lay there, like a kitten sleeping on the couch. He looked so adorable like that and a part of Ryan just wanted to stay there looking, but he couldn't, Kiran probely wouldn't like that.

It hurt him to think that Kiran would leave as soon as he got better, but he had promised the guy that himself.

Man the boy had grown on him in this short time.

Ryan sat the food and water near Kiran befor leaving the sleeping cutie.

They would soon make a hold for the night to rest and sleep, then Kiran could get some fresh air if he didn't feel to tired.

The smell of berries, herbs and something else made Kiran's nose twitch. He had fallen asleep after all. Slowly, he opened his eyes and tried to locate where the smell of food was coming from. They landed on said food not far away from him on the seat. Kiran jumped up and started to dig in immediately. The berries, meat and herbs disappeared quickly, after which he took a huge gulp of water. Then he looked at the green thing. Was it supposed to be food? It didn't smell edible at all. Kiran picked it up with two fingers and took a sniff before grimacing at the smell and turning away. Why did Ryan give him something like that? Still, he was curious on what kind of food could be like that. He gingerly took a nibble of it, his eyes widened and the next second, the bread had gone down his tummy.

Night had fallen and finally Kiran couldn't stand staying another second in the carriage. He silently opened the door and stepped out just as silently. Fires had been started and people huddled around the flames. Kiran cautiously started to walk around the camp, eyes curiously surveying his surroundings. Suddenly, a force knocked him to the ground. The suddenly jerk made his wound sear in pain and he winced. His eyes moved to look at the person who bumped into him and boy did that give him a great shock. The man was huge and his face sported a menacing look even if he didn't mean to. He didn't look at all normal with his four horse legs and torso of a man. Though Kiran didn't take note of the garments he wore that made him out to be a soldier. The physique and expression of the man was enough to make him feel threatened.

With a loud hiss, his jumped away. Though he hadn't shifted, Kiran stayed on all fours, crouching away from the man. Should he face any danger, he was ready to shift.

Ryan walked between the pair. he hadn't seen what triggered it, but knowing the centaur's nature, it could had been anything.

"Get a hold of your anger man!" Ryan shouted, he knew just how much damaged such huge hooves could do.

The centaur instantly looked at Ryan, his eyes wide in shock, the man hadn't deliberately chose to get like that and soon lowered his head. "Sorry my lord, he startled me."

Though that man stood twice as tall a Ryan, the centaur seemed to remember his training and manes before his superior.

"Well I pretty sure you scared him as well, do not let me see this happen again!" Ryan answered still a little shaking from thinking of what could had happened.

He dismiss the man and turned to Kiran. "Sorry about that but didn't I tell you to call me?" Ryan smiled trying to calm the boy down on all four.

"Are you still hungry? we got plenty of food. I was going to ask you if you wanted to come out, but looks like you beat me to it"

The encounter with the centaur had his heart beating in panick. One couldn't imagine the relieve Kiran felt when Ryan appeared. Weird as it may sound, perhaps it was because Ryan was about the only person in the party that he had spoken to.

When the centaur left, Kiran stayed rigid in his spot. He took deep breaths trying to calm the pounding. Truly, he could have died under those hooves and that wasn't a comforting thought at all. He looked up at Ryan who was smiling at him, then slowly, shakily started to stand up. Kiran had no idea what possessed him to do such a thing. But as soon as he got up, he moved towards Ryan and wrapped his arms around the man's waist.

Ryan was surprised as Kiran put his arms around him, it felt nice and it warmed his heart that the boy found him safe enough to use Ryan as security.

His creature growled pleased wanted to stay like this forever, not caring how looked.

"I sorry that he scared you, but you did so well not to back down." Ryan assured him while caressed Kiran's beautiful black hair in his hand.

"Come on you can sit by me while you eat." He said and started lead them over to one of the fires.

There were aready layed food out, much the same they had got at lunch, the only drifferences were some fresh rabbites meat cooking over the fire. The dogs had caught some along the way, they had ran forward just gleaming those helpless animals from a far.

The meat was jucie and tasted really good when cooked over a open flame. Ryan couldn't wait for Kiran to try it.

Tama looked up as they came closer, reasing a eyebrown but didn't comment on the two. Ryan tapped light on Kiran's shoulder, signal for him to take a seat and eat.

He felt a lot better in Ryan's embrace, really. Even though he shouldn't be seeking comfort in a stranger, his body had moved on its own and he ended up hugging the man. Kiran relished the feel of Ryan's hand caressing his hair but all too soon, Ryan had stepped away and started to lead him to the camp. As they came closer, a waft of smell invaded his nose and Kiran turned to its source. It was meat, being held over the fire, Kiran's brow furrowed at that. What were they doing to the meat? In the wild, Kiran was used to hunting in his panther form then eating straight away. Seeing the others heat up the meat was new. When one was placed in his hand, Kiran eyed the food suspiciously. He took a glance at the others who chewing and gnawing at it then stared back at the meat. If the others were eating it, that meant it was safe right. Gingerly, he took a small bite of the meat then stared at it in surprise. He hadn't eaten anything like it before but boy did it taste good. Kiran started to eat it more enthusiastically.

When he was done, Kiran got up and dusted his pants before moving away from the camp. His eyes landed on a cluster of trees then started to move towards them. When he got closer, Kiran shifted and started to walk in.

Ryan wanted to followed Kiran, he saw the boy shift and wanted nothing more then to shift himself, but he couldn't. His inner being wimpered as he had to retain it from jumping after him. Kiran seemed fine enough, those pain-relieving herbs really did help maybe to good. What if Kiran didn't come back? Ryan didn't want that, since it would definitely kill him.

"Go after him really!" Tama growl annoyed as he eat. "You clearly wants to, though I got no idea why. Whats the matter with you? And don't give that shit that you are like that with everyone."

Well Tamme had right, Ryan had never led a stranger touch him in the way Kiran had a while ago. But that had just be cause of the centaur scene.

"I don't know, it feels drifferent in a way." Ryan said not telling much. He know he couldn't because he couldn't understand it himself.

As most of the men started to fall asleep, the uneasy feeling of not having Kiran back only grow stronger.

Not being able so stand it any longer, he shifted into af black raven in a blink of a eye. He's body buzzing from the feeling of shifting into something small.

Ryan flew through the forest, using his much more amazing sense of smell and his instincts to fine the panther.

Ryan sad on a high branch and consider the situation before flying to a lower one. He didn't know if it was okay for him to be there, if Kiran responded as such he could just fly back to the camp.

It wasn't before the panther noticed him that called in a loud bird voice.

All Kiran really wanted was a stroll actually. He hadn't thought of letting Ryan know since all he could think of was the forest ahead of him. His beast had gotten excited at the thought of it's mother home after having been cooped up in the carriage for two days. He hadn't really thought of not returning but even if he did, who were they to stop him? Especially since he had rested well enough to move around.

Kiran trudged through the forest slowly, chewing at the grass and once in a while playing with the ants. Even the crickets didn't escape his playfulness. He would place his paw lightly on top of one and release it once it let out a cry. Once the cricket jumped, Kiran followed it and prevented it from moving again. This happened repeatedly until Kiran got bored and let the terrified insect go.

After awhile, Kiran finally stopped and lay on the ground. His head lolled to one side and he let out a huff. His thoughts went back to Ryan and how he felt whenever he was near the man. If he had to be honest, everything about the other shifter made his heart pound, from gorgeous looks to the way he spoke and acted. Kiran didn't know what made him feel that way when he had just met the guy. He was supposed to be wary and on guard but something about Ryan made him feel safe and let down his guard. Just like when he hugged the man earlier. Kiran had felt safe like as if nothing in the world could hurt him as long as he stayed with Ryan. There was some kind of bond between them, Kiran just knew. A connection that drew him towards the other shifter but he just didn't know what.

Amidst his confusion, a familiar scent suddenly wafted past his nose. It was Ryan's scent! Kiran's heart started to pound again, was he here right now? He got up and started to look around the forest. They landed on a tree not far off and spotted a raven. Was that him? So Ryan was a raven shifter? It didn't seem that simple though. A raven wasn't strong enough to gain the respect of strong shifters like the centaur. Kiran continued to stare at Ryan, silently calling for him to come down.

Ryan floated down and jumped over the ground. He's being wanted to play with the big cat, his size didn't matter, him being fast enough to dodge Kiran's pores. Ryan teased by poking the panther, not hard, just that he felt it.

The cat looked so cut in playing mode, but even when playing Ryan still hold back a lot, the shifter were still wounded, he couldn’t let his being loss to much.

He also didn't wanted to transform into his much biger form, afraid he might scare the boy with his size, so for now he stayed a raven.

As Ryan was geting tired he jumped away from Kiran onto a log not far. He waved his wings making the feathers outstretched and cooked his head towards Kiran.

When Ryan started to peck at him, Kiran immediately got the idea that he was trying to play with him. Seeing how the forest was starting to get boring, Kiran welcomed this gesture and played along. He stood on his hind legs and tried to catch the raven with his front paws but never succeeded. From the back of his throat, Kiran let out constant purrs to show that he was happy. Eventually the both of them got tired and when Ryan flew to the log, Kiran remained in his crouching position. Soon after, he sat down then lay on his side.

He lay there for a moment, ears twitching with every cricket cry, watching Ryan. His emerald eyes seemed to glow in the dark, pupils on slits. Finally, he shifted back into his human form and stood up, naked again having left his clothes back at the camp. But he didn't mind, as a shifter, being naked almost all the time came as a second nature.

"Let's head back, I'm getting tired," he said to Ryan and waited for him to shift back.

As Ryan shifted he felt the familiar buzzing again, as he stretched his wings they turned to arms, the transforming going as smooth as always, but it still left a weird feeling.

"Sounds good to me" Ryan sad as he tried not to growl from seing the boy standing in all his glory.

Damn... Ryan told himself trying to look away from it. As it finaly succeed to looke Kiran in the eye he knew he made one of his charming smiles. His heart started jumping wild into those glowing green eyes.

There was a silence as they walked back, but not unpleasant at all.

Ryan thought again why he felt like this around Kiran. He haft had some mal bedmats in the past and Ryan had always taken the pretty boys, who had looked beautiful to him. But as he looked at Kiran he couldn't remember anyone of them, Ryan didn't even wanted to think of anyone but Kiran, a man he shouldn't think of that way.

Kiran would leave again, no matter what he might think or feel, when Kiran left.... Not even a king could do much.

Ryan looked at Kiran again, he smiled, but only to hide the sadnes behind it.

"Are you in pain?" He asked worried. "I can give you some more pain-relieving herbs when we get back? there should still be some fires burning so it wouldn’t be any trouble."
