For me it was the strange relationship between the blond one (the victim) and the dark haired guy (the rapist). However, it is a very...dislike-able work. My suspicions are that the manga-ka tried to do some...untypical, dark and psychological S&M thing. But the thing about BDSM is not...breaking your doll, you know. I am pretty much into mental sadism, but what I am witnessing in that title is...a young person who doesn't have a single idea about the BDSM world. And like, the creator tried to portray...a mentally ill person...as a sadist...or something? The only "excuse" I can think of is...the character being a psychopath. In its true meaning, but then again...even thinking of it as a psychopath is wrong. You know? Because psychopath wouldn't be in for satisfying their body. Hell, there is necrophilia and it is still not about getting off - all is about one's mind. While this title goes a bit too much on the sexual side than the mind and one's own perspective as a sick person, you get me there? I would have damn enjoyed it, if the psychopath inside the seme had monologues - kind of in "In There Words"-style, but even more. Because then you don't just focus on the sex. Psychopath focusing just on the sex, if that manga-ka wanted that, had to suffer some major sex-related trauma to focus on sex itself. In her plot - it does not happen [so far where I am (on ch.48)]. '__' Maybe I am wrong...? But the manga is rubbing me off in a bad way. Update: Okay now...this new chapter...what the heck. Now I am thinking that the manga-ka wanted to have 'everything' in that "cocktail" and in the end it became crap. Yule was suffering from sociopathy, I believe - lack of emotions and something has been locked up. Some fans ... SPOILER BELOW! Some fans seem to believe that Yule is a psychopath, but...a psychopath will never hurt himself/herself for the sake of someone else's. Same with a sociopath. I believe that Yule was a victim, somewhat. And..the manga-ka hasn't really researched well enough on topic 'mental disorders'. What I saw wasn't psychopathy. -_____- Overall. Crap plot with a lot of holes and gaps [literally and not]. -_- I'm ashamed that it made me laugh out loud!:D I finished it more than a month ago, so my impressions are not as fresh, but i definitely definitely agree that it was not very well-thought. For example, the big brother's threat never came into play.. It's like the author forgot about it completely. I didn't pay too much time to the characters of the mcs, too busy hating on them, but I do agree that they are not very consistent in the way they're written. I'm not very surprised anymore that the uke went back to Yule after all, although I think I was a bit disappointed at first. He had a victim mentality & I guess needs to be abused. I did enjoy it while reading tho. It was fun & quick & stuff happened. (and porney, ok, it was porney).But it is telling, that now I don't remember 80 percent of what happened in the manga.
