The world 200 million years in the future and through a portal to another world. There is a land that is ruled by magic. A land that different creatures roam among one another. Wars have started between those kingdoms and within them a group of rogue believers think that the soul of this old vampire can save them. Unfortunately in order to bring him back they must first find a suitable body. One that is similar and even made with almost the same dna. Since time has past human dna has changed only a little but enough to make the current human bodies unacceptable to their plans.

In order to find the right body a man from the group took a journey into the highest mountains to find a library to summon the right person from another time and place. This planning took several years and thousands of deaths.

Joining them today was a new powerful recruit to make this all happen. Little did they know that the young man was actually part of another rebel group to destroy their plans in resurrecting such an evil creature. He planned to seal the soul away in the body and kill the man he would be put inside destroying the vampires soul.

Standing around the summoning spell he chanted along with them and awaited his right time to strike. Along the floor was markings of a star like drawing. At each tip was different incense, blood and other artifacts to bring this person through. They didn't exactly know what to expect to see coming through this portal.Under his robes he chanted waiting to see who it would be.

My character

Name: Allan Rivers

Age: 19

Race: Human

Info: An orphan with no living relatives but plenty of friends and a warm personality. Often underestimated due to his kind demeanour however. (Warning: wolf looking like a sheep)

Magic: none.

Eyes: intense blue

Hair: brunette

Appearance: 1_by_cempestre-daqrvcr.png

Allan hummed a happy tune, glad to finally get back home after a fairly busy day at work. 'Home' was a tiny one bedroom that doubled as livingroom type of apartament, equipped with a bathroom and a kitchen, a clean place he rented. As a young man just out of an orphanage with hardly anything to his name other than his monthly income from his job in retail, sure, he could not afford much. But he was content. After 18 years of not belonging anywhere, he actually had some place to call home, no matter the size. It was a wonderful feeling.

The brunette removed his shoes, making his way towards the kitchen to start dinner before even changing his clothes. He'd be doing laundry later either way and changing already would have felt like a waste of time. And he did need the time. His shift was to start at 7 AM, meaning he would be getting up by 5.30 in order to get there on time. Perhaps to many that sort of thing would seem worth of pity but he certainly did not find it so. He enjoyed it.

The entire room spinned and he became unfocused, the sudden dizziness making him drop the pot of water he planned to use for the soup onto the floor. His vision blacked out without explanation, throbbing pain spreading through his head. "Urgh-" A small hurt noise was all that escaped his lips as he shut his eyes and lowered himself to sit on the floor.

Then it was gone, as abrupty as it had stared.

Allen oppened his eyes slowly once more, trying to blink in orser to focus his vision and instantly froze, forgetting how to even breath.

What. The place he was in did no longer look like home.

Quickly going to him a couple cloaked figures yanked him onto this knees and started to chant. Each held an arm up behind his back to keep him from moving much. The markings on the floor were glowing but the only other lights were the candles all around them creating a creepy hue to the room.

One cloaked figure walked around him swinging some incense which were meant to disrupt his inner being to allow them to place the other soul inside him. Over the course of just a couple minutes several things took place. Three more figures came up and pulled a seal off a jar, another pair of hand reached above it to guide a ghost like mist to his body. One of the figures yanked his head back by his hair to allow the mist to enter into his mouth.

The mist reached deep inside him putting pressure on his very mind as it started to try to take over his. The chanting grew louder and louder until suddenly one by one each cloaked head was chopped off until they all hit the floor.

One last cloaked figure stood before him holding a scythe like staff in his hand. Swirling around him was a blue swirl of water, "now it's your turn."

There was no time to react, no time to ask questions or try to get a grip on himself as hands were already grabbing him, yanking him in another position and keeping him still. Fear.

"What-" A panicked question escaped his mouth somehow, his heart hammering as if trying to scape his chest, his breathing turning erratic. The entire scene was surreal, as if out of books he had read on demon summoning stories and the occult, he felt as if he was being paralysed. Dread was sinking into his very bones with no warning and he could do nothing but glance left and right without moving anything but his eyeballs, unable to even struggle due to his body having gone numb.

Fear mixed with more of the same head-splitting pain as before was all that happened when the mist entered his mouth amd at this point Allen was hardly keeping his conciousness. It felt as if something was trying to pry open the contents of his mind, scratching and biting for the sake of entrance, causing him to tear up, wide eyed.

Scared blue orbs looked up at the men in front him.

He... was going to die was he not?

Standing before him time seemed to move slowly as the man took in the sight on the floor. These other men in the room had committed so many crimes, but this boy was innocent.

"Che," Skyler dropped the water and knelt down before the kid. "Don't let it out."

Taking Allan's arm he tucked it around his shoulders and helped him stand but supported most of his weight as best he could. He had a feeling the kid was in pain. Walking him through the dark, damp halls and finally outside into the setting sun he whistled. They seemed to come out of a small cottage at the edge of a city. On one side was a giant city with large buildings almost similar to Allan's world. On the other side were large trees and thick forests.

After a moment a tri-colored horse ran up. It's slightly longer fur was brown, white and black patches all over it. It's face resembled that of a horse but it features were more fierce, "Lets get you on."

Let it out? Let what out? His head was slightly foggy so he did not really protest or resist in any way as he was helped up and out, his heart still not able to settle down. Yet the fear was begining to slowly settle, being replaced by uncertainity rather than anything. At this point Allan was simply unsure as to what was going on so h could do nothing but look around and go with the flow.

He took notice of the city. It was good to see something at least slightly familiar. But again, it wasn't truly much in soothing his mind.

The brunette stared at the uhhhh- was that a hose? It certainly looked like one and similarly did not. It did not look friendly in the least but somehow he felt that his best bid was following the male. What other choice was there? With still shaky steps he touched the animal, his blue orbs looking somewhat resolute despite the pain as he attempted to climb up on the horse.

sorry this took so long. This holiday and work went crazy these last couple of weeks. I've barely been home >.

Helping the guy onto the horse he slipped onto the saddle behind him and headed into the woods. Looking to the trees he scanned the area and made sure they were alone. His arms had hooked around either side of his body to hold onto the reigns of the horse, "I'm taking you back to our camp. My name is Skyler Hollinder. I'm part of a group that is tracking down the man that was placed inside your mind."

Inside Allan's mind he could feel the pressure of the other man's mind easing off as it retreated further to heal himself. Once he realized he was back and safe for now he decided to take a moment to recover. Being sealed in that jar wasn't easy on him.

I apologize for not replying for so so long myself. Real life has been pretty tough and I find it extremely difficult to find the motivation to write these days, all the more now that I am in my exam period. Thank you for your patience and I truly apologize.

Not having to walk did improve the situation a lot, despite the boy's confusion. He listened but quite clearly his mind was elsewhere. It did start to hurt less and less and that was a great sign, but hearing that someone was actually inside his head did have a way to earn his distaste, along with making him even more confused. The fear was replaced with an instinct of survival instead, little by little.

"What will happen to me? What do you plan to do?" That was the question that needed an answer the most. Based on that, he could decide on how to act and manage to control his emotions. "Kill me? Or do you have a way to remove whatever that thing inside my mind is?" Restricting the answer to leave no room for beating around the bush was also probably for the best.
