WELCOME TO MY WORLD...

Who am I?

Well, I should perhaps start by introducing myself. Hello there, I am the Gladis! I've kind of been drifting on and off this site, but now I feel ready to pick up a few new role plays. I'm a huge fan of anime, manga and visual novels, of which Umineko no naku koro ni, From The New World, Kobato and Steins;Gate some of my absolute favorites. On my free time I write, role play and draw, and my dream is to one day become a journalist. Now, before you bore you all too much with my whole life's story, it would perhaps be wise of me to get down to business. XD

 

What am I looking for in my partner?

✰ I am looking for long or short-term (depending on plot) partners, who are willing to put some effort into planning and developing the plot. Yes, I am looking for plot. Not THAT kind of plot, actual plot. Smut is great, and sometimes I'm in the mood for writing pure smut – but most of the time I do expect some kind of good story behind all of it. I find writing smut for character I actually am familiar with and ship way more satisfactory than just mindless fucking with two-dimensional, cardboard cutouts.

✰ It should also be noted that If you're a passive player who has to be constantly pulled around on a leash, I'll be more than likely to drop our role play out of pure frustration. I don't mind taking the lead from time to time, but I certainly expect you to do the same. First and foremost, role playing is all about collaboration. If both sides don't put their all into it, the role play is bound to fail.

✰ I expect you to be capable of proper grammar and spelling. English isn't my native language and as such, I do tend to make mistakes from time to time. I won't be a grammar nazi, but at least make your post readable. If I see you using text talk even once (and unless your character is actually texting), I'll drop the role play at once.

✰ I'm not a big fan of one liners, and would prefer if you refrained from writing them. Ever. While I don't expect every post to be the size of a novella, some in depth descriptions of your characters thoughts, feelings, appearance and surroundings helps bringing the world to life, and also gives me something to work with.

✰ This isn't exactly a requirement, but still something I should perhaps mention. I love playing multiple characters in a role play. Be it developing several story lines in the same world, or just working with interesting side characters; I love it. I don't require you to be interested in playing multiple characters – but if you are, I shall love you for it. XD

✰ Same as above. I absolutely LOVE world building, and I especially love doing it together with somebody else. I don't require you to be fond of world building, but again, if you are.... I shall love you even more for it.

Seme or Uke?

Since I know this tends to be a big deal for a lot of people, I may as well get this out of the way. I am a person who likes variety to her characters, as well as plots, and as such is ready to play every position. When I say every, however, I mean every. I'm sick of uke-only players constantly asking me to be their sadistic seme. Quite frankly, I've grown quite bored of it over time. I'm diverse with what I write and the characters I play; I expect my partner to be the same. If you are a uke-only player, we won't click. The same goes for if you only play seme. That being said, we all have preferences and it's okay to state them. I just want you to be open to accepting other positions as well.

 

Fandom or OC?

I don't role play fandoms, and I always play original characters. I simply don't feel like I can do somebody else's characters justice, since they aren't mine, and as such like to stick to stick to my own creations. I won't mind making an AU RP of a world I find intriguing, however. As long as we are using our own plot-line and characters, I'm good.

 

What kind of characters do I like to play?

As mentioned above, I'm rather diverse with my characters. I play men, women, trans, gender fluid, straight, gay, lesbian, fat, thin, tall, short, angry, happy, sweet, sadistic, tsundere, yandere, kuudere... you name it. I do have a tendency to make my characters socially dysfunctional in one way or another, but even that's not an always. I like to explore and try new things. This also goes for playing different roles.

 

If we're talking about specific kind of roles, however, I believe I should mention favorites of some kind. When playing seme, I tend to have the most fun role playing the passive or clueless type. I can promise that I am capable of playing Ouran worthy morons. I'm not a huge fan of the Christian Gray esque seme, although am willing to play one if the plot calls for it. The tsundere is certainly another favorite of mine, especially if it's a uke or seke. Furthermore, I enjoy playing hopeless nerds (most likely because I am one myself) and flamboyant flirts. Some characters of mine are darker in personality... really, this list could go on forever. It completely depends on my mood, the person I'm role playing with and what is required to make an interesting story.

 

Do I have any limits?

Well, certainly yes. I won't under any circumstances role play scat, vore, watersport or bathroom play. Whilst I'm okay with torture for the most part, I'd like to avoid cutting them apart completely. X3 That being said, I don't mind trying out something a little weird or out of the ordinary from time to time.

Do I have any specific kinks?

This isn't the easiest question to answer, as what I'd like to see in a role play really depends on the plot, circumstances and the character I'm playing. I may have one character who's really into rough sex – I think it's hot. But if I have a character who's kind of sensitive about that sort of thing, I'll be less happy about it. Unless, of course, it is useful for the plot. > : D No, but quite honestly now. The only thing I can think of is more of a fetish, and that's long haired men and characters in glasses. >///F-list.

 

When will I be online and how often will I reply?

I'm a university student, which means that I will have periods where I am more busy and periods where I'm less busy. Since I live in Sweden, I'm about one hour ahead of the UK. This means that I probably won't be online a lot during the time you Americans are. I will still, despite uni, try to respond at least once every two days. Depending on how long our replies are and whether I have time right then, it is possible that I will reply more frequently. During breaks and such I will probably have more time on my hands.

You're interested in role playing with me. How do you go about it?

XD If you're interested in any of the plots or pairings I will be listing below, or would like to brain storm up something else/have an idea of your own – feel free to contact me via PM. Please, do NOT post in this thread. I'm intending to post my plot ideas here and I prefer things looking neat. I will try to update with new plot ideas regulary (aka, whenever I get an idea), so drop by from time to time to see if anything interests you. ^^

It was never meant to end like this.

 

Curiosity killed the cat, as they say. Perhaps the young Wilhelm, apprentice of the local clergy should have kept that in mind before he picked up the mysterious silver ring and put it on his finger. Once he’d put it on, it was impossible to take off. Furthermore, there was definitely something wrong with it. From time to time he would suddenly feel the strong need to enter his masters study; something the old priest had under all circumstances forbidden him to do; at least without permission.

 

To begin with the compulsive feeling of wanting to open that small, ornate, wooden box was easy enough to ignore; as was the voice calling trying to get him to do so. Yet once it started haunting him in his dreams, whispering sweet promises in his ears as it ran it's clawed fingers over his exposed skin, offering the young cleric in training the most intimate and sinful of experiences... it became increasingly difficult to do so. Terrified and ashamed, he never found the courage to consult his master about it. Instead he desperately tried to find ways to get rid of it on his own. Eventually the demon promised him that if only he opened the box, he would bother him no more.

 

In all of his desperation Wilhelm agreed to the bargain, one night sneaking into his masters study to unlock the box. Little did Wilhelm realize that in doing so, he would unleash a great evil upon the world. As promised, he was now able to remove the ring, but the very same night a mysterious murderer started reeking havoc in the village.

 

Will Wilhelm take responsibility for his actions and face the demon? Or will he run from his mistakes and turn his back on the people of who's demise he was indirectly responsible for? And if he does confront the demon: how will he handle it?

 

❥ Generally, I'm looking for someone willing to play the demon. However, if you absolutely want to play the priest, I would be willing to switch roles. Of course, in that case you would be allowed to change the name of the character and decide his appearance etc.

❥ I would prefer if he's seke, since even the priest starts out on the more submissive side of things, he is supposed to develop some back bone. Eventually, it will probably even be he that is in control and not the other way around.

❥ Their relationship will probably start out as a love/hate one.

❥ This may be a spoiler, but I think it's important I tell you where I'm planning to go with this. Wilhelm will put the ring back on and summon the demon. As he's too weak to vanquish him, he instead offers his soul in return for the demons loyalty. After that, he sets off to become an exorcist. His master the clergy may or may not have been killed by the demon at that point.

❥ Where we take the plot after that, is entirely up to us.

❥ I want you to be capable of playing multiple characters in this. Even if the demon and exorcist are our main characters, it will be needed.

❥ This is not a plot for the faint hearted. There will be blood, death, torture and gore. Just as a warning.
