Rumpleteaser
Portals Between Worlds An 18+ sci-fantasy roleplay by Rumpleteaser and Pigeon Name: Talon Aya Renikka Age: 24 Height: 5'11" Gender: Male most of the time Position: Seme top or bottom Species: Griffin of the Virentitia Dimension Personality: Talon has a warm and sunny disposition but isn't as outspoken or boisterous as his griffin kin. He has a condition called oral fixation, which means he puts almost anything in his mouth and sucks on it (no pun intended). All his pencils have chew marks in them and he can never grow his fingernails long. He sometimes tries to hide it by having lollipops in his satchel to use when he's thinking. He tends to be very thoughtful and sometimes comes off as if he is in a world of his own. He prefers to be around other people rather than sitting alone. He may not be the life of the party but he'd rather be there than at home. Appearance: He has a curly, wavy mop of golden hair that gets redder at the tips and green eyes with catlike irises. He also has a long lion's tail with a tuft at the end to match, which swishes and sways according to his mood. Like all griffins, he has a second form, similar to that of Earth's griffins. In fact, his people are the origin of these myths. There are five worlds across four different dimensions. At first humans did not know the existence of these dimensions, thinking there were only six or seven. Reality itself is a dimension too. These four dimensions or realities line up like a stack of maps in an atlas. At first scientists and their experiments could only pick up small quarks passing between these dimensions but as technology become more and more advanced they began sending objects to the other dimensions and even small animals. These dimensions have always existed but humanity did not have the knowledge to access them. Now that human have the technology to detect, communicate and send matter to other dimensions, many questions have been raised as to what lies beyond the borders of our reality. Are there other races out there? Do they pose a threat to humanity's existence? Do they have the technology to pass through dimensions? Are they already here? The planet Earth and the solar system exist in each of these five dimensions, except the fifth. They are identical in time and space (e.g. distance from sun, location, size, shape, weight, chemical composition, landmasses) but have evolved completely differently. They have their own biological systems, organisms and intelligent life. Many have more than one species of intelligent life too. These intelligent lives are at differing time period and levels of technology, though humans on Earth were the last to discover how to connect with the different dimensions. This is because they neglected and rejected their beliefs in magic, which used to be the easiest way to travel between the different worlds. It was the 130th centenary celebration of the opening of the permanent portals between the five dimensions. All the university students on exchange from other worlds had filled the streets and celebrating the opportunity of a lifetime. Only 3000 students from each of the four worlds were accepted into the inter-dimensional educational program and this time Talon was one of them. He'd been shortlisted the last three times he'd tried but this time he'd finally made it! It was a centenary year too! That meant there was an entire month of events, parties and performances before he needed to settle down to study. The young griffin was now wondering around the confetti and streamer filled streets with a sucker in his mouth. He rolled it around on his tongue as he continued to search this way and that for the group of griffins he'd been traveling with. His tail swished in wide arcs as he walked, signifying his slight discomfort at walking around a strange world at night on his own. He squeezed between a few groups of students from one of the other worlds, trying not to stare at their strange ears. No doubt they were trying just as hard not to look at his lion's tail. Kotorichan
Name: Piya Aeni Age: 21 Height: 5'2 Gender: Male Position: Seke, oftens ends up being an uke Personality: very outgoing, gets embarrassed easily. Friendly but can also be a bit of a tsundere when he has a crush on someone. Appearance: Summer- Long floppy lavender-blue ears with silver speckles, matching short hair and bunny tail. Dark blue skin with silver freckles. Pale blue eyes and short dark blue antlers. Chubby with thick thighs. Winter- Hair and fur turns white. Skin becomes pale blue, antlers grow thin white fuzz. There were more people at the festival than Piya had ever seen in his life, it was both overwhelming and exciting at the same time. He was glad that his friends were with him, otherwise he would probably end up running off and getting himself lost in the crowd. Even now he was bouncing up and down as he looked around with wide eyes. His excitement was ready to burst. A soft yelp of surprise escaped his lips as someone bumped into him. He looked up at the stranger with wide eyes. “Oh, it’s fine…” His eyes caught the man’s tail. “Whoa! Your tail is amazing!” He smiled brightly. All the people here looked so different, it was so amazing.
Rumpleteaser
'Hmmm? Oh, did I bump into you?' Talon asked. The griffin looked around until he found who was talking to him. The sight had him smiling wide and his tail thrashing back and forth as if he were about to pounce. He pulled the lollipop from his mouth and waved it at the strange creature as though telling him off. 'You know it's rude to stare. It's even ruder to pass comments,' he said before shoving the sucker back in his mouth. He put a hand on a hip and gave the other man a very appraising look. His tail curled up and he played his fingers through the tuft. 'You can pat it if you like. I tell ye what, let me pat your awesome antlers and we'll call it even.' Very soon Talon had the sucker out of his mouth and he was licking it clean. Part of him was still a big pussycat so it was only natural for griffins to lick themselves clean. Sure, it wasn't something they did usually did publicly but it was still socially acceptable. He didn't know how things went on this planet yet though. The information brochures hadn't described the dos and don'ts of society here. He figure the other exchange students were all on the same page so it would be easier to pass off his behaviour. 'Hey, you haven't seen a bunch of other griffins around, have you? I've been wondering this place for hours,' he asked. There were only 500 griffins and 500 quinyiks spread throughout this world and not all of them would be in this city.
Kotorichan
Piya's cheeks flushed softly and he let out a soft huff. "I was just complimenting you..." His gaze dropped to the ground and he took a little step back. His species was typically prey, so this man's aggressive reaction was making Piya want to bolt. But he was still too fascinated by the stranger. He could hear his friends making soft squeaks behind him, trying to signal for him to back down. He perked up a bit at the offer to touch the stranger's tail. "Yes! I wanna feel it, just don't try to break my antlers." The second question made him stop and think for a moment. "I haven't seen anyone like you before, that's why I was so amazed when I saw you." He hopped closer, reaching out a hand to touch the tail. It wasn't really a fair trade since Piya's kind didn't actually have any feeling in his antlers. Even if the man broke one of his antlers, they would just be shed and grow back within a year.
