EmiZea
Just started on a trilogy called "The Black Magician" series by Trudi Canavan, book one is called "The Magicians' Guild". As most of you probably have guessed, its a fantasy book.. magic, action and high adventure. "Each year, the magicians of Imardin gather together to purge the city streets of vagrants and miscreants. Masters of the disciplines of magic, they know that no ordinary lowlife can oppose them. But their protective shield is not as imprenetrable as they think. Sonea, angry, frustrated and outraged by the treatment of her family and friends, throws a stone at the shield, putting all her rage behind it. She is amazed when it sails unrestricted through the barrier and knocks a magician unconscious. The Guild’s worst fear has been realised. There is an untrained magician loose in Imardin who must be found before her uncontrolled powers can destroy herself and the city." Only read the first 100 pages, but so far I really like it
Yaoi Eater
Currently reading "11 minutes" by Paulo Coelho...he is one of my favorite writers, but I can't help thinking that "Veronika decides to die" was his best book...maybe because it talked about suicide as something almost normal "11 minutes" is...different. I borrowed it from the library(actually, I was surprised when I found the book in our high school's little library) along with The portrait of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde(great movie made after the book) and Earth's fruits by Andre Gide(even more surprised to find in that library).
Yaoi Eater
Recently, I finished two books. One of them is called "The memoirs of an old crocodile" and it was written by Tennessee Williams (actually Tennessee is a pseudonym, his real name was Thomas, but never mind). So about this book...it's hard to say something about a non-fictional book because that it is that memoirs are. He practically told us, the readers his life or anyway the biggest part of it. Oh, did I mention he was gay? Nope, I didn't. So yeah, he was a homosexual and he let us discover a bit more about the "queer" life. Anyway, some parts saddened me a lot. But enough of this, let's move on to the next book which I finished just this morning. I woke up unusually early, so I took my book and started reading at 8 a.m The book is called "In the miso soup" , written by Ryu Murakami (a japanese, yes) and is rather short. I even thought that if he had developed that book, it could have been something close to a masterpiece, but he just left it like that...with an extremely open ending >. I'm thinking about reading "The picture of Dorian Gray" by Oscar Wilde, but I already know what happened because I've seen the movie. I'll probably receive tomorrow the book "Carrie" by Stephen King and I'm looking forward to it

And of course, it's about homosexuality;) I have a habit to collect that kind of books, although there aren't a lot of such books in my language.
