Kind've on a whim recently, I wanted to join a role-play after reading a few of them on here. Even though I've had an account for few months, I'm still unfamiliar with the know-how of this site and I pondered, "What should I do? How will I ever get aquatinted?". I was looking through all the forums, searching for a possible "For Newbs" (hmm... it feels strange using that word, it sounds so dated xD) forum but I couldn't find one. I guess I didn't look that carefully because here I am now. I've liked yaoi for awhile and this isn't my first time visiting Yaoi Otaku, before i made and account, I'd try to find BL movies here haha. It seems like a great community; I'd describe it as "a place where yaoi lovers can love yaoi together". I hope I made an impactful introduction and hopefully I come to like this site even more! Welcome to YO, my suggestion would be to check the 'looking for role play partners' section and respond to members that are looking for a partner or start a new thread for your personalized search (since people have different taste and criteria for their role play.) Don't be afraid to tag/mention members on the threads. You'll meet new friends quickly this way. For me, I found making new friends easier on the game threads. Hoped I helped a bit.
