Down center stage a spotlight cascaded on a single, enormous present. Wrapped in Christmas wrapping paper, a light blue paper featuring snow flakes, and a grand red ribbon, the present was secured at the top with a magnificent bow, two long ribbons falling onto the floor. Truly whatever was inside would be a large treat! The circus junkies surround the stage, short to tall. They were a goofy looking group of people, that was for sure. "Ladies and Gentlemen!" The Ring Master called out, "Gather around as I have quite the surprise for the whole crew to enjoy! We have a new act! As I am sure you've already heard the rumors, we will be warmly welcoming two tigers to our little home!" He announced, and once he was done, pulled on one of the long ribbons.

 

Just like that, they were unveiled as the paper and ribbon came undone in one swift movement- Two beautiful black and white tigers huddled next to each other, laying calmly on theirs sides were looking right back at the crowd of circus freaks. Both tigers were adorned by cute red ribbons embroidered with their names. The one on the right, slightly bigger than the other but it was hardly noticeable, was labeled with th name: Leo. The other, slightly smaller tiger, was named: Lee. "Precious? Are they not?" The Ring Master bellowed happily, "They will certainly make a spectacular show! Leo and Lee will definitely complete our family, don't you think? What say you, crew?" He was responded with happy cheers from everyone. A couple of the attendees had gotten to their feet, approaching the cage with little regard, no one seemed to be terrified of these giant beasts.

 

"Glad that everyone is agreeing!" The Ring Master nodded in approval. Everyone seemed to be enthused about the two new members of the family. The main crew was present. These were the people who would perform on stage. The most important man there was the Ring Master, who preferred to be called Eric, 25. He was a tall man, thin and lightly toned. He was a generous, mischievous, playful kind of guy. He knew how to get the crowd worked up. The man had gray eyes, a charming smile, black hair and always seemed to wear a vest. He was a cheerful, happy, flirtatious man.

 

Kate, Jayden and Winter were all acrobatics, each could do their own act. Kate was the prettiest, long curly brown hair, caramel skin and a friendly smile. She was an outgoing 22 year old. Jayden was a quiet man, the base usually for most of the tricks. He had shorter, black hair, dark chocolate eyes, he was tall in stature, taller than the Ring Master and was muscular. Jayden was a strong 29 year old man. Winter- Well, no one knows his real name, he just likes to be called Winter. He was an albino with a pretty, baby face. Winter had a small body frame, he was the feminine type. Unsurprisingly he did a number of cross dressing acts. He was a shy 23 year old man.

 

Kuinn, Juiz, Max, Hyden were all clowns of sorts, jokers and pranksters. Kuinn was the youngest of all the circus goers, turning 18 next month. He was a thin, blond hair blue eyed male. Juiz was a petite young woman. She was 19 years of age. She liked to wear her hair long into twin tails, blond. Max was a 18 year old who was usually always smiling. The goof ball was definitely suited to be a clown. He was medium build and height, currently dyed white hair. Hyden was the oldest of the group, 27. He had brown hair and brown eyes.

 

Van, Al, and Yu were all jugglers of sorts. Van was a 21 year old who liked messing with fire tricks. He was a red head who had a temper. As soon as he was of age, he drank himself drunk... And after making a fool of himself, he never drank that much again. Al was the calm and clever 20 year old. He's the one who pokes fun at Van. Short blond hair, glasses and a coy expression. With eyes of honey, Al is the second tallest man, slightly muscular build. Al didn't really juggle too often, more like he threw knives at a target for fun. Yu is the shortest young man, the secret pervert type of guy, 19. He was the actual juggler out of the group, professionally able to toss the most dangerous of items- such as a chainsaw. For a small guy he was strong.

 

Oli, or Oliver was the blind musician, and seemingly the outcast of the group. He liked to keep to himself and was the only one who didn't approach the cage where the tigers were located. His arms were folded across his chest and his face was unreadable, eyes closed. In his hand was his staff. Oli was 24. He was awfully pale with his black hair making him look ghostly. Returning to his side was a very handsome man with long, dyed purple, hair. His light blue eyes seemed warm despite their cool color. Nikolas was the most flirtatious out of all the men there. He personally makes every costume by hand for every member. He was the tallest man here at the age of 28. He seemingly looked after Oliver.

 

Eric, the Ring Master, smiled wide. "So, Newbie, do you think you can handle two tigers instead of one? I certainly hope so!"

The air was more than a bit chilled on the stage despite the warmth the spotlight gave on the newest gift the Ring Master gave his family. The crew's excitement over the new act evident around Viktor as he stared in wonder at the two twin tigers; Leo and Lee. It's been almost a year since he joined the circus after he left his home in Poland, wanting to do something more thrilling, more rewarding. Viktor traveled and traveled until he came across Eric's circus and was accepted into such a wonderful family. After some standard questions and an interview, of course.

 

He helped trained the performing dogs they had, which wasn't really hard to do at all. They have a quite the cute routine that made the audience coo at them. They trusted Viktor a lot so they were able to do more and more outstanding and expecting things the next show. It wasn't exactly Beast Taming, but he did love it. And the kids seem to enjoy it as well, and he has nothing else more to ask for when he can see a kid's face light up with childlike joy.

 

But he had nothing that was really a challenge for him, there was really nothing for him to tame. Until now, that is. While everyone was gathered around the cage with no fear, all except Oli and Nikolas who stayed back, Viktor was trying to figure out how Eric even got his hands on two grown tigers. And white bengal ones at that. It must've cost a fortante. Kate looked over at their old-new member and how entranced he was with the tigers. As if this was the best Christmas he's ever had in his life. She smiled at him, nudging him with her elbow to respond to the Ring Master when he addressed him.

 

This guy was always lost in thought, even around animals, she's noticed. He's an odd one, but real sweet. Viktor snapped his attention to the acrobatic performer, blinking a few times as she pointed her thumb to the front. Oh, Eric was talking to him. Shit, he needs to stop zoning out. He gave the man a cocky smirk, tilting his head to the side as his posture just oozed confidence. Voice underlined with his slight accent. "Of course I can." The Beast Tamer said proudly, getting a round of applause and whooping from his family. Van scoffed at him, this guy was too annoyingly cocky in his opinion. There are days he can tolerate him, today, because it's a holiday, will have to be one of them.

 

Kate rolled her eyes at her new family member, but smiled nonetheless, giving him a thumbs up along with Jayden, who was more quiet about the celebration. The Beast Tamer was a bit pleased with the response he got from everyone. this whole family support thing was still all too new to him.

 

Viktor's only worry, though was the fact that there was two tigers. However, they seemed well tamed; silently laying in the cage and observing them. Most would be seizing them up, even growling at this point, and that gave the red head hope that this would be a bit easy. He looked from Leo, to Lee, changing his smirk into a soft smile. The first step is trust and getting to know each other well, maybe talking to each other would work?

 

Max smiled his signature goofy one as he slowly raised his hand up. "Eric," he called out. "Where will the twins stay?" Keeping them on the stage wouldn't sense, though it would be funny when they clean up crew came and saw such a surprise waiting for them there. But, it would cause some problems if some kids sneak in, and sometimes they do, and try to let the giant cats lose just for the hell of it. That would be problematic. Everyone else seem to wonder the same thing, as they asked questions among themselves as well, there was some room for the new members of the crew, but where would they put exactly?

"Where?" Eric chuckled, "The tigers are family... And as family, they can live with us!" He declared. Mat was already standing next to him, laughing and cheering him on. "They'll have their own room, of course, just like the rest of us... I was thinking that they could share a cart with Viktor when we travel. That should definitely be plenty of room. Besides, the tamer has declared he could handle them... So why not give him his debut? What does the crowd say?"

 

Mat was the first to reply, "I agree, I agree! I wanna see him tackle the tigers- but not literally... You know what I mean?" He said with a chuckle. Oliver was muttering something to Nikolas, something along the lines of: as long as nobody dies.... Followed by Nikolas reassuring him that all would be okay.

 

"I would be most interested to see our Newbie master the twin tigers." Yu found himself quietly agreeing. "Would be a source of entertainment... Would it not?" Hyden who was standing next to him was silent. The only thing he did was shrug indifferently.

 

Meanwhile, one of the shyest members was crouched down, casually sticking his arm passed the metal bars and into the cage. Winter's expression was a soft one, his voice seemed even softer, almost inaudible with everyone talking. "Here kitty, kitty, kitty, kitty... Kitties? Leo... Lee..." He was extending his arm inside the cage with his hand outreached. He didn't move his arm, nor really move in general. Winter had his own way of doing things... And like many in the circus, was curious by nature. He was just waiting there, waiting to see if the tigers would come to him.

 

Nikolas let out a small sigh at the scene before him. He left Oliver's side to go to Winter. He placed a hand on his shoulder. "Winter... I know you'd like to pet them... But we don't know if they are docile yet." The albino frowned, looking up at the purple haired man. He gave a soft nod and retracted his arm.

 

There was a soft chuckle that escaped Oliver even though he didn't see anything. "Did Winter stick his hand in the tigers cage? Why does that not surprise me? Please do be careful." And in response, Winter stuck out his tongue, even though Oliver clearly couldn't see it, before crossing his arms across his chest.

 

"Now, now... Everyone-" Eric said rather loudly to get everyone's attention. "The man who sold these beauties to me promised me that they were sweethearts, nearly fully docile. So I figured, Viktor could have first dibs, as the tamer, to go inside and test the theory out. If they are not docile... Well..." Eric smirked, patting Viktor on the back ever so casually. "Guess you'll have to work your magic, then, won't you?" He said with a laugh. "Or die trying." Even though he said it so casually, there was an underling tone that suggested that this was a trial of sorts. Something that Viktor had to pass as a Newbie. "Dare you go in, Mr. Cocky? Or are you chicken?" To which Max nearly keeled over with laughter from Eric's horrible joke.
