He said staring at the clock. "Let me go check it, Sir." The waiter accommodates. As soon as the waiter left, a flick of light shivered his eyes for a second and sees the waiter coming towards him again. "Yes, sir?" The waiter asked "Huh? Did you check it already? I said your clock seem—" seeing the clock strikes the next minute, it doesn't look broken at all. His phone rang and his boss is calling. "Never mind. Thank you." It's time for him to go back. He hates people who think it makes him less of a man or think it is an easy job for it is a job he considers emotionally taxing at times and labor intensive at times. --------------------------- Bardou finished cleaning up the last of the tables, taking his dirty rag into the back room of the café. "Someone isn't looking forward to 'Cat Ears' day? You would look good in some tiny black ones" He laughed, Bardou punching him lightly in return. "You just want to see me dressed up..." He rolled his eyes with a small smile. "Anyway, Yuki, if I am late, Have Kaoru come in and make them. I might get busy with everything.." Bardou said as he loosened the black tie of his uniform, stepping through the doors of the café. He felt weird for a moment but could not quite place the feeling...What was going on? Yukio Takamiya
Name: Shin Age: 27 Position: Uke Short bio: Shin, a young teacher was born in a rather wealthy family. He never really pegged himself as one who would work hard for what he wanted, because let's admit it, he already had everything he needed. His job wasn't all that great but he didn't mind. Since young, he had been given everything he wanted and this led him to be rather spoiled, expecting almost everything to go his way. He has a rather bad temper which he has trouble controlling, thus never really letting others get close to him. For he felt that if one couldn't understand him, he didn't feel the need to befriend insignificant individuals. Class ended earlier than he'd thought and Shin suppressed a yawn as he walked through the hallway. Students walking by paused to bow in greeting, all of which he paid no mind to. He walked into the staff room and to his desk, packing up in preparation to head home for the day. A hand suddenly came into view, gripping the edge of his desk as a woman leaned against the table. Shin paused in his movements and looked up to see a fellow colleague, Amamiya as others call her. The lady had been hitting on him for a while now, ignoring her own admirers as Shin would rather she pay more attention to them than him. He'd rejected her multiple times now but apparently the airhead didn't know how to give up. She was attractive, that he had to admit and she was more than aware of that fact herself. He would have gone out with her, but only if he were straight, which he wasn't. He'd told her outright that she wasn't his type to which she countered, he'd put in verbatim:" It doesn't matter. I like cold men, especially one so attractive such as yourself. I'll just have to change your tastes then." Shin had to stifle his shiver of disgust when she traced a finger under his chin in attempt to be seductive. "Are you going home Shin?" She smiled, eyes half-lidded and...did she do surgery on her lips or something? They looked bigger somehow. Her top buttons were unbuttoned to the third, exposing much of her chest. Not that Shin actually took notice of them. His face was expressionless as he regarded her. "That's Sahara-sensei to you Amamiya-sensei,"he replied, resuming what he was doing before she came. Shin sped up in his packing, he didn't want to lose his temper, especially with someone who wasn't worth it. Not that he hadn't before of course. He lost his temper once and she left him alone for a while after that, returning just when he'd thought he had finally scared her off. The bitch couldn't get a clue, thinking that he was just in a bad mood that day. She truly believed that no man could resist her charms. "I've got an appointment today," he said picking up his bag, before she could ask him to dinner which was what she'd been doing often. After which, he walked out without a glance back at the woman who stomped her heel in anger. Shin opened the door to his car and dumped his bag in the passenger seat before getting in himself. He slammed the door and let out a heavy sigh in attempt to relax. He barely got out of that one, almost positive that she would follow him out. Shin started the engine and started to back out of the parking lot. All he wanted now was a good warm shower before getting into his warm bed. He drove out onto the main road, taking the normal way home. However, just as he'd stopped by the traffic junction, his vision warped for a moment, like his surroundings had suddenly merged together. Just as quickly as it came, everything went back to normal. Shin shook his head, he didn't feel dizzy so what was all that about? Nevermind that, it was probably just his imagination. The light turned green and he sped off.
rainbowman
For three hours inside the office all you can hear is Katsuaki's vexed voice scolding Neji about his thirty minute break time. At the same time for three hours you will see Neji not minding him anyway. He was a bit confused of what ever happened in the coffeehouse, as if it really is something to mind, but not. This began his feeling of being anxious with time, looking at the digital clock on his desk and catching a glimpse of his watch and his cellular phone to which he noticed the time is almost up. Yes, almost time to go home. '16:53' he thought. Seven minutes left to go rest the day. He is done with work now but the boss doesn't seem to know how to stop. So the tired Neji stared at Katsuaki for the rest of the remaining minutes like a child listening to his mother nag of something he doesn't understand. As the other employees chuckled and murmured of how the hauling goes, Katsuaki felt the pressure of his embarrassment. He isn't much used to Neji not replying a tease or not answering at all "Ugh. Make sure you do your work tomorrow well." Katsuaki said not done with his litany. The alarm rang to five o'clock and Neji stood and passed his own boss going out the door that seem so far away. He looked back and winked "See you tomorrow, Katsuaki. Don't miss me too much tonight, kay?" and he left. Everything was messy in the office as Neji left with everyone laughing for his way of harassment. He sure is a bully. The distance from here to there is doing a great job annoying Neji. He has been walking for a couple of minutes on the road getting away from his aggressively hot headed boss who seems to need a big hit on his face for his anger management. But it doesn't matter since Katsuaki is one of the best people Neji can count on and vise versa. "Aaahh home, come to me.." He sighed placing his hands on his head as he looked up the sky with a sleepy face. "Why am I sleepy, I just had coffee 4 hours ago?" He thought so well. Although today is a bit tiresome, Neji kept walking not bothering the traffic lights turned green, ahead he walked the pedestrian lane and heard a loud screech fron his side. "Oh, a ca-" and to his realization he is correct, it is a car. Luckily enough he was able to run a bit more step to avoid a big scene of his stupidity but he was bumped a little on his left arm. He stumbled to the ground and laid his body thinking how lucky he was there. "Aaaah home. Come to me. Now."
fameandfortune212
Hikaru once in a while would disorientedly veered to his right or left. Space shifting would cause residents on both dimensions disorientation, distraction or even nausia, vomit. As he beginning to think back of his action earlier to activate a time shift, he began to regret it. Changes were made without the consent of more than one person and it would probably cause trouble for that man Hikaru and he himself. He bit his lips as he tried to think of the way to fix the issue. The thought finding the man he wanted to help him was lingering in his whirling mind and it motivated his feet to moved along the lonely winding road. It was 6 pm, the road was still busy with people getting home from a long day at work but the sun has already hid himself beneath the storming clouds. The whitelight of cars flashed by his features walking along the streets. But none of that got to him. Hikaru was focused on his locating device. He did not exactly plant a tracking chip on the man but he knew where his house was, where his work was or the bar he would go to. Right then, Hikaru guessed that it would be home that the man headed to. He quickened his pace by the minute as he slowly regained balance. Drip. Drop. Drip. Drop. A rain droplet hit the glass screen of his device. A second drop hit again. Before he knew it, his hair was already dampened with the moisture. He hastened to the nearby eaves of a closed convenience shop. He shook the water off his device to check how much left he had to go. The bloody device was not waterproof. It showed him a glimpse of the route he needed to take before it blacked out. Thank goodness Hikaru was not an idiot and had already remembered the map. He waited a bit more for the rain to lessen but it showed no sign of such. Growing ever more impatient. He ran straight to Neji's homested, soaked as a rat. He knocked at the wooden door, leaving a great stain on it. Waiting for an answer.
Yukio Takamiya
His surroundings went by in a blur and so was his mind. For some reason, his body was on auto-pilot driving while his mind wandered, thinking of practically nothing to be exact. He didn't even know how much time had passed until his made a turn, just in time to see a figure walk right into the path of his car. Shin's mind snapped back to attention in that instant and his foot rammed down on the breaks. The side of his car bumped the man as he stopped, breathing heavily as the other fell to the ground. "What the f-" he barely managed to restrain himself from cursing. Had the guy been injured badly, he couldn't know for sure, everything happened too quickly. His fingers shook as he hurriedly unbuckled his seat belt, stepping out of his car and slamming the door. Shin threw himself down to the man's side. "Hey are you alright?!" He rushed out, his hands instantly moved to gently grasp the other's shoulder, holding him up slightly from the ground. Until he saw the man's face... Neji?! Shin's eyes moved to scrutinize the rest of his body for any injuries and he seemed to be fine. Shin's expression became a scowl and he threw Neji back onto the ground, hard enough to wake him up. "Neji, are you drunk or something?! How can you just walk onto the road without looking? If you wanna kill yourself, go jump off a building instead of pulling me into your little suicide episode!" He stood up and ran a hand through his dark hair, heaving yet another sigh. Today simply wasn't day.
rainbowman
Neji couldn't move much, not because he is injured. Although he was hurt quite a bit but that didn't bother him so much. He was all so tired from thinking about the time thing and dwelling with Katsuaki's roars awhile back, he just wanted to be laid in bed and nothing more. Like an idiot at some point when one would think about it. Neji is smiling deep inside as if thanking the one who bumped him for giving him a reason to just lay on the floor and do nothing. "Hey are you alright?!" Neji heared that, but it isn't full. Like he is in a bubble and couldn't hear much. But he did hear the words quite right, he thinks. Everything went to blabbers. The other seem to be saying things as if he knew Neji, however, Neji peeked on him a bit and to be honest, he doesn't know such person. 'who the hell is this guy?' he asked in his mind. 'what suicide episode is this guy talking about?!'. Neji's brows were curled a bit lower, as if thinking but his eyes are still closed. But then he decided to open his eyes and sat down properly infront of the unidentified person who clames to know him. "Excuse me, who are you?" Neji asked in much confusion, in much disappointment that he thought he would gather his rest in a hospital because of the bump. But no, he is now infront of a man who knows his name. Makes Neji more confused than his paperworks and Katsuaki. Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links.
