Soulmates

 

Everyone is born with a name etched into the inside of their wrist. Said name is of the person that they will one day meet and spend the rest of their lives with. The only person they will be truly and fully compatible with. The only person they could fully love. In other words, their true Soulmate.

 

For YC, it didn't take him long to find his Soulmate. It turned out to be one half of the pair of twins he had grown up with and known since the trio had been mere toddlers. When YC showed the man when they had been young teenagers, the pair were elated when the man also showed YC the name etched into his wrist. YC's own name. For many years the two proceeded to date and enjoy the happiness that came with being together with their Soulmate...however throughout this, YC's Soulmate's twin was left behind in the dust. More and more he found himself being left out of hanging out with the pair due to the fact that their outing usually ended in less than pure intentions. Though it hurt, MC was proud and happy for his friends even when he kept a deep secret to himself that he hoped they would never find out. The fact that he too had been born with YC's name written to the inside of his wrist. Something that was as heartbreaking as it was cruel.

 

As the years went by, MC slowly distanced himself from his sibling, YC, the rest of their friends and finally at the age of 18, he completely left their hometown behind with not even a word of apology or explanation why. He was simply there one day and the next he was gone.

 

When YC turned 26, a horrible accident ripped his Soulmate out of his arms and left him reeling and feeling as if he had begun to fall into a bottomless hole. The days that followed were hard despite everyone trying to help him through the pain of the death of his partner. And as if he hadn't been having to deal with enough, a month after the funeral of his boyfriend, a new name appears on his wrist where his boyfriend's name had once been. It's a name he knows of very well but hasn't seen in many years. The name of a man who hadn't even bothered to show up at the funeral, instead opting to call from wherever he was to pass on his remorse for the death of his own twin brother. The name of a man who had been on billboards and music award shows and TV sitcoms and talk shows. A ghost from his past, if you will. A regret both YC and his boyfriend had had when they realized just how much their love had ended up pushing the other twin away.

 

Even though he is in no way ready for another lover, YC wants to at least see his old lost friend and see how life is treating him while also try to understand why his name has appeared on his wrist. But the man he meets up with resembles in no way the child he remembers from his past. This man is sarcastic and as warm as a pile of ice...at least towards him. This man also happens to have a fiancée who already bears his last name while they have yet to marry and a small child that calls him "daddy" and is as fiercely possessive of him as is the woman he has engaged himself to.

 

Can YC unravel the mystery surrounding the remaining Twin. Will he be able to find out what really is going on between the two women and the man when MC grudgingly allows YC to live with them in the current city they are staying in while he and his fiancée work on their new albums. Will MC finally show him the name that has been written into his wrist since the moment he was born? Will he trust YC enough to explain to him the exact mess he had pushed himself into the awarded him with the presence of the two women that he would protect and shield until his last breath left his body?

Legend

 

In a world where dragons are very much real and humanity has battled against them for the better part of 3 centuries, a Legend has prevailed about a man who had once led the humans to victory against the threat of the dragons. With a Dragon by his side, one who had bonded with him and only him, he had taught humanity how to fight back against the rage of the reptilian beasts. He had offered them his secrets and his tricks, taught them where to aim and how hard to hit. He had installed in them determination and fearlessness, the fierce will to protect their kind and stand firm in the face of unspeakable forces....And then he had disappeared just as quickly as he had appeared.

 

But that was many many years ago. So far in the distant past that the man and his dragon have become just a myth, a bedtime story so that parents can tuck their children into to bed and build hope in their young hearts that humanity is not lost because of the alarming rise of the number of dragons throughout the years.

 

Muse A has grown up hearing these stories but he doesn't buy into it much anymore. Perhaps once when he was a child he did believe that this man of Legends would swoop down from the heavens and save his people from their threat of extinction, but not anymore. After the loss of his family and his best friend, Muse A has only one thing in mind. Helping to finish the wall his people have begun to build in an effort to hold back the fierce new wingless dragons from tearing away any more lives and causing more pain and grief. Little does he know that his eyes will soon land on the man who he carries so much mixed emotions for.

 

When a routine assignment on the top of the wall goes wrong and Muse A Accidentally topples off on the wrong side, he thinks he done for. He can already hear the snarls of approaching dragons, already feel the hot acid breath against his back...he can almost taste blood in his mouth from the wounds that are bound to be inflicted on him. However, before the first dragon can so much as strike, a fierce screech pierces through the growls around him and clawed feet grip down on his shoulders and he is hoisted up into the heavens and towards the towering tops of mountians miles upon miles away. Somewhere along the way he loses conciousness but not before casting once glance upon the hooded man riding the beast that is carrying him with infinite gentleness.

 

When Muse A awakens, he finds himself in a rather large field nestled between the cliffs of two massive mountain peaks. Just a few feet away, sitting calmly with his back braced upon the unusually feathered beast who is watching Muse A with intense, calculating aquamarine eyes, is the man who saved him. The very man who has had story after story weaved about him. Someone who isn't supposed to be much more than a fairytale to give hope to the hopeless. To say Muse A is shocked to see the man is very much real and appears to have not aged even in the slightest, is an understatement.

 

Will Muse A be able to understand the reasoning behind Muse B's disappearance from the world? Will he be able to understand the bond Muse B seems to have with his Dragon, something bottomless and unshakeable? Will Muse A accept Muse B's offer to train to be just like him once he explains that he has no intention of riding to humanity's rescue? And will Muse A be able to unravel the secret about the betrayal Muse B claims changed his will to save his own kind?

 

 

 

Betrayal is not always what it seems

 

Funny how you never think the person you trust the most will ever let you down. How you put full confidence, love, and devotion into the bond you have formed with said person and not a day goes by that you aren't thankful to have them in your life. How everything seems just so grand with them around and nothing could possibly go wrong with them standing shoulder to shoulder beside you.

 

That was how Muse A thought whenever he was with his best friend, Muse B. It was always them against the world, never backing down from a challenge and always smirking at the face of the impossible. That was how it was always meant to be...at least that's what he thought until Muse B turned his back on him. Until Muse B took everything that was between them and threw it back in Muse A's face without so much as a note of hesitation or regret.

 

It's been years since the two have gone their separate ways, Muse A pushing Muse B to the back of his mind and doing his best to never think of him unless he wants to reawaken the deep fury and pain that always comes with any memory of the other man. However, when the two bump into each other when Muse B returns to the town the two of them grew up in, it would seem that the two are forced to interact with one another by the means of old friends being all to willing to "get the gang back together".

 

Will the truth of the betrayal in their teenage years come to life. What does Muse B mean when he says that he was trying to protect Muse A and that's why he pushed him away? Will Muse A be able to believe him? And does the same threat Muse B had been trying to protect Muse A from years ago, still exist?

Alright, so those are basically the plots I have created in my mind so far. It doesn't mean that they can't be changed or things can't be added on. I'm fine with talking to my partners about them and tinkering around a bit if we both agree to some changes or if we want them to be as they are. As for the type of partners I would like for this, I would like to have a partner that is equal to my character. My characters tend to all be SEKE, as such I'm looking for fellow SEKE partners. SEME partners are welcome but not strictly required, however I'd prefer not to deal with UKE characters....honestly I just don't like them to be frank. Also, I'm looking for fairly active partners that won't vanish for days on end. I do work most days but I have free time during the evenings and I would like to be able to roleplay during those times. And for God's sake, please be able to write more than 3-4 sentences. Yes I agree with quality over quantity but at least leave me with something to work off of.
