Name: Calix (only those of noble or royal blood have last names)

Age: 18

Gender: Male

Height: 165 cm

Weight: 114 lbs

Species: Wolf

Social status: Servant

Hair/Fur color: Gray or silver (Depends on the light)

Eye color: ocean blue

Position: Uke

Orientation: Bisexual

Personality: Calix is a proper butler that is good at what he does. Despite his young age, he shows a lot of maturity with only rare moments showing his cuter, almost puppy-like nature he tries to keep hidden. The wolf is a hard worker and understands that playing really isn't an option for him. However, if he finds some free time to himself, if it's winter, he will go and play in the snow but if it's summer he might just be found climbing cliffs of something.

With arms fully of groceries, a young wolf was seen walking from the town and up towards the manor on the hill. It wasn't as big of a hill as the royal castle, seen in the distance was, but it at least gave a nice view of the town, and the horizon. The manor had been abandoned for several years with only the wolf left behind to keep it in good shape. Now, the manor was finally going to have a lord and Calix was going to have to serve him for as long as he needed. It wasn't that big of a deal really... the princess liked to put different nobles into the manor to act as the new lord but they never lasted long and were either driven out by the people or driven mad by their own greed.

However, there was something different about this new lord said to arrive soon.. Apparently, he wasn't appointed by the royal family directly and this particular person wasn't even a noble. Strange indeed... Hopefully, he was a proper lord non the less and would last longer than the rest. Calix didn't particularly take well to being abandoned again and again. Though, it was fine to see some go, others it was harder.... The first lord, though he could barely remember since he was so young, was a kind man that treated Calix like his own grandson.... Fond memories.

The wolf noticed he made it back and entered the manor to prepare a meal for the arriving lord.... Hopefully he had enough time, he was running later than usual... How odd of him. The manor had a cook and a couple maids that helped him keep the place running but most of the time, Calix did everything himself. He was always making sure no one had the chance to poison his masters and for a while now, there was no master to even pay the workers. So, it was for the best to do it himself. After preparing a nice stew and some dessert, Calix could hear from the other side of the manor that someone was near the door.

The wolf's sharp hearing helped him pick up on every little thing that went on in this house. He hurried over to the door and opened it just before anyone else could and bowed respectfully. "Welcome to the manor. I hope you enjoy your stay here," Calix said still in his bow. It was hard to tell but he was rather small in stature... Not only was he short, but the kid didn't look like he had an ounce of muscle on him. He wore a typical butler uniform, of almost all black with a white undershirt and a black tie. What was probably most noticeable were his Silver ears and tail that came down between his coat tails curling upwards slightly at the tip.

Height: 180 cm

Weight: 164 lbs

Species: Human

Social Status: Royalty

Hair color: Black

Eye color: Bright green

Position: Seme

Orientation: Gay

Blair wasn't expecting to be worshipped like a God but he knew that he would have to stay here and be treated like a king for quite a while. Which he didn't mind, he enjoyed a bit of pampering. But he also enjoyed a bit of independence. He was thinking he could clean for the servants every once in a while or cook a meal or two. He just felt bad that he was about to meet these strangers who know he was obviously not born from the royal family, and was just some random stranger who was considered "royal" in some sort of connection.

Setting foot into the Manor, he gazed around. It was quite spacious, which he sort of expected, and then he saw the little wolf boy in front of him. "Hello, there. What's your name?" He asked, examining the boy. His hair.. or is it fur? It looks so soft and silvery.. Blair thought to himself. He extended his hand in a friendly greeting. "I'm Blair, it's a pleasure to meet you." He said, smiling down at the boy.

"My name is Calix, My Lord," he said. The wolf lifted his head, ears still up and at attention. As the hand was extended towards him he started down at it as if he were suddenly offended. "That is no way to greet someone of lower status. In fact, the only greeting towards me would be a simple, "I'm back" or an order to do something for you for example give a report or fetch something you desire. Touching is offensive and dirty and it is not proper to call you by you're given name. I will address you as My Lord or Master." Calix was sharp in his words but seemed to have a lot of pride in what he was saying.

Even those that guided Blair this far nodded in agreement. "Calix is of the wolf clan, born to serve. Despite his young age, he is good at what he does. After all, they start training at the age of 2 until they are about 14 and begin serving a master. Calix is already 18 and has been working since an early age of 12," the man behind him explained. He then went on explaining a few simple rules about Blair's duties in this castle and that if he had any questions, no matter how trivial, he could ask Calix who will give an answer without judgement.

The two men stuck around for a little while until Blair got a feel for the manor before leaving. They wished the new lord good luck and left. One of the men had been from this world, a human with bright orange hair, and the other a human of Blair's world working with the government that set this whole thing up. They left and Calix followed his new Master. "My Lord, would you like any food? I have prepared a stew. Though, if you are not that hungry, could I offer you in a slice of cake and tea perhaps?"

Blair went blank for a minute. So, the "butler" was pretty much a slave. He didn't understand, he believed everyone should be treated well. Of course this was a different world, so he didn't want to complain. Maybe some other time he'd be able to change the boy's mind. He seemed like he as brainwashed to believe that he was of lower class.

He spent an hour or two exploring the Manor, seeing where everything was located. He liked the design of the Manor and he knew of course he'd enjoy living here for quite a while, since he wouldnt be going home for another year.

At the offer of food, he felt his stomach growl. He didn't realize how hungry he was until now. "Oh, I'd love some stew please." He said, sitting in one of the master chairs in the living room whIle he waited. He liked the scenery in the home, all the rustic decorations and things. He wasn't sure if this was set in the past or if there was technology, since there was a huge cupboard in front of the chairs on the living room which could be a TV Stand but he didn't want to pick and poke at things.. yet.

At the new lord's desire, Calix bowed and left towards the kitchen. Even though they had walked around baasically the entire manor, not one other person was found. The wolf didn't say anything about it but the whole manor was quiet with just the two of them almost giving off a ghostly feel due to it being a bit chilly and darker on the upper floor. However, as they entered the master bedroom, Calix pulled back the curtains to reveal the room and brighten things up.

Quickly returning with a bowl of stew, Calix placed the bowl in front of Blair and placed a spoon on a napkin next to it and then pulled out a cloth napkin and draped it over Blair's lap before stepping back and standing beside the chair waiting patiently. The wolf didn't say a word and he had his eyes closed. His ears came back in what looked like a more relaxed position as he was listening to the sounds of the manor to make sure they were still safe. It was midday so the chances of thieves was low, however, this lord was unusual so an attack wouldn't be too far out there.

Calix stood there patiently waiting for his new lord to give him another order. He didn't expect any thanks for the food, or any comment on it's flavor unless there was something unsatisfactory about it.

Blair sat and thanked the boy for the food, as he began to dig in. He smiled after the first bite. "This is incredible! It tastes great, thank you so much, Calix." He said, continuing to eat. Once he was finished, he picked up his dishes and set them in the sink. "Don't wash them yet, Calix. I'll wash them tonight." He said with a smile. "But uh do you think you could get me some tea and a slice of cake please? If that isn't too much to ask." He said, feeling bad for bothering the boy even if this is what he was raised to do. He was enjoying the pampering he received of course, since he wasn't usually treated like this back in his own world. He always wondered what it would be like to be rich and this was the closest thing to it.

Once tea and cake was served, Blair ate with delight. "Calix, did you make this cake as well? It's delicious!" He said, smiling happily. "I won't be surprised if I get nice and plump in a year." He laughed, finishing his food and thanking Calix once again. He then took his dishes and went to begin washing them to save Calix some time. He told Calix to go relax as he went at the dishes.

"I am happy the food is to your satisfaction, my lord." Calix spoke still standing in his relaxed state. Of course, he returned to attention as soon as Blair stood, done with his meal. Once agaim, the wolf looked offended that the male was carrying his dishes. "Please stop My Lord. This is unbecoming of a lord!!" Calix followed behind Blair continuing to try and get him to stop. Clearly this wasn't working as he placed them in the sink. At least he... the master then ordered the wolf to leave it under the pretense that he would take care of it. This was unacceptable.

He got a slice of the cake and poured some tea before bringing it out. The wolf brought it out and stood to the side again but remained in attention. As his new master stood and ordered him to relax while he headed for the kitchen, Calix sprinted to catch up to him and cut him off takin the dishes right out of his hand. That was of course, rude of him but the wolf could not accept any more shame. This was absolutely humiliating to have his master doing dishes and cleaning. "Please, Master, do not humiliate me so. If you do not think I can satisfy you then I will find someone more suitable." The wolf's ears were back and his fur was sticking up on his tail making it bigger than usual. He was clearly frustrated.

Taking a moment to reel himself in, Calix bowed and turned to take the dishes and get them cleaned. He was starting to see this new lord was going to be an absolute handful... in a way, it was probably easier to handle greedy lords that liked everything done for them. As soon as he finished cleaning, the wolf walked out returning to his normal attentive demeanor. "I must apologize for my outburst. It was inappropriate and uncalled for. I hope you can forgive me," he said respectfully.

Blair sighed and shook his head, letting Calix do as he pleased. "I enjoy doing things by myself, you need a rest every now and then, Calix." He said calmly before sitting in the living room chair, sighing.

Once the dishes were finished, Blair headed to the library to pick out a book to read. He picked a romance novel and began reading, relaxing on the love seat by the table. While reading he thought to himself. This world was so different compared to what he was used to, especially the wolf slave complex.

After reading for a bit, he decided to get up and go out for a small walk. Grabbing a scarf, he called out to Calix. "Would you like to join me on a walk?" He asked, pulling on his coat and shoes.

"You needed waste your energy on me Master. I get plenty of rest and have built up to be able to do these simple tasks with little effort," he said. Maybe that sounded like he was bragging but his small stature probably didn't help convince Blair that he was strong enough for working all day. Still, he had to keep it up. Even though this new master wanted him to rest, Calix hadn't yet done anything that would require him to rest.

The wolf followed Blair to the library but waited outside in the hall for him. While the door was closed, the wolf would be able to keep track of him. Honestly, Calix wanted to just sit down and wait but knew if he showed even an ounce of laziness now, it could spiral into something far worse. He'd find himself taking a break here and there until he couldn't even wake up on time. This was why he had to be so strict about not resting for even a minute. Ok, so that was probably an exaggeration but it was what he'd been taught all these years.

The wolf listened as he heard a book gently close from inside the library and the man came out again. The wolf resumed his place behind Blair as he walked towards the door. "If you wish for me to join you then I shall." Calix bowed and placed his shoes on as well and was ready to follow Blair out.

Blair walked out of the estate and began walking with Calix through the meadow nearby. "So Calix, do you have any interests? And did you grow up training entirely or did you get to be a kid and have fun every once in a while?" He asked, slightly concerned. He had a feeling that Calix didn't even know what play was, let alone actually playing. He just wished he'd compromise and understand that it wasn't all so bad.

They continued walking through the meadow until he saw a deer in the meadow. He pointed and smiled, remaining quiet as they passed as to not disturb the deer.

Soon they arrived home and Blair felt very tired, his eyelids even drooping. "Uhmm, my bedroom is upstairs right?" He asked, eventually finding his bedroom. He began to undress and pulled some briefs on. He didn't usually sleep with much clothing because he got warm so easily.

Calix followed behind Blair into the meadow. "Not really, I've been training to serve since I could walk, and before that, I'd been completely surrounded by serving. So I regret to say, I did not have what you call, a normal childhood. Though, if you look at it from a wolf's position that is a normal childhood." The wolf explained his life and continued to walk around with his new master. He stopped as his master did and watched the deer. Instinct quickly told him to hunt but Calix held back under the pretense that he really wasn't hungry and they didn't need the meat.

The wolf stood and they soon continued to move and returned to the manor where Calix helped his master up to his room and didn't care much for what he changed into. At least he could be comfortable as he slept. Calix walked farther in and closed the curtains before making sure, he was prepared to go. "I shall be sure to wake you from your nap when it is time for dinner. Please rest well Master." The wolf bowed and turned to leave again.

Calix turned and left the room closing the door gently behind him.

Blair slept peacefully for a few hours, and he ended up having a dream about his world and how it had changed since his time spent in this world. Needless to say, he jolted awake and was sweating profusely. He got up and decided he'd take a bath before dinner, as it had been a bit since he had been cleaned. He didn't ask Calix of course and turned on the bath water himself. He got a towel and even some relaxing bath bubbles and drew the bath. He undressed and sat in, sighing happily. Combined with the warmth of the water and the satisfaction of just being able to do something by himself was quite invigorating. He of course knew Calix may storm upstairs and become cross due to him not listening, but he laid in the bath and relaxed for an hour.

Once washing up, he got out of the tub and grabbed a towel to dry.

Calix had accidentally fell asleep on the couch down in the main room only to be woken abruptly by the sound of a bath being run. He sat up and realized his mistake quickly jumping up to fix himself and make sure he was in proper shape before heading for the kitchen. The thought of stopping Blair from bathing himself never crossed his mind. After all, he had a master in the past that had a servant before that could never get the water to his liking and since had rum the bath himself. It wasn't too odd so he just let it happen. This was something he didn't find offensive.

The wolf remained in the kitchen cooking a proper dinner until he heard the bath draining. He fin is he'd up what he could and headed up stairs to greet his master again. "My Lord, would you like me pick out your clothes? Dinner is nearly ready so whenever you finish getting dressed, please come down and have some food." The wolf waited patiently outside for his master's response.

"Sure, thank you." He wrapped a towel around his waist once he had finished drying and then dressed himself, he then fixed his hair and then headed down the stairs to eat. He sat at the table and he began eating what had been served for him. He wondered if Calix ate while he was asleep, or if he barely ate at all, since he never usually sat and ate with him. "Mmm this is delicious! Uhm, Calix?" He looked over at Calix. "Won't you come eat with me?" He asked, smiling. He hoped that Calix would eat with him sometimes, he didn't want the boy to go hungry, and Blair didn't want him to feel as if he couldn't eat around Blair.

The wolf laid out some nice clothes for Blair to get dressed into when he was ready and returned to down stairs. He had to make sure everything was ready as he sliced the steak and laid it out with some mashed potatoes and some corn. After, Claix stood back as the master came in and sat down to eat. Once again, he offered something that the wolf had to refuse. "My apologies, My Lord, but it would be inappropriate for me to sit at the same table as you and eat. I will be eating later once I know you are all set," Calix explained.

The silver-furred wolf figured it was only a matter of time until his master gave up on such advances and started to act like a normal lord, treating him like the servant he was. However, should Blair become more determined, he could just as easily order Calix to join him for meals... as terrible as it sounded, a wolf's stubbornness was nothing to laugh at. He could go on for a long time. His patients was long and it would be hard for Blair to outlast him.

Blair shook his head, deciding to give it a rest for now, eating his food and once finishing he again thanked Calix. He ordered Calix to sit on the couch as he ran to go wash the dishes.

Afterwards, he decided to go to the library once again, lying on the couch and began to read the book he didn't finish last time. He found it so comforting in this library, he enjoyed it so much more than he would have in the other world but there wasn't much technology so this is what he had.

The wolf was quickly torn. He didn't want to disobey but there was no way he could allow his master to wash dishes, especially while he just sat down. What shame. Calix hurried over and tried to take over only being able to dry the dishes and put them away. Clearly he was upset by this but there was nothing he could do as his master went to the library... What a handful this one turned out to be.

Calix made himself something to eat and ate while Blair was in the library before cleaning up and heading in that direction... Though, the master would probably go straight to bed after finishing his book so maybe it was alright for him to retire for the day... After all, he had to be up in the morning.... Calix knocked on the door and entered the library only taking a couple steps in. "My Lord?" he began. "Do you need anything else before bed? A drink or anything perhaps?" If the answer was 'no' the wolf could go and get some rest himself.

After getting the place fully ready for a new lord -paperwork and all-, Calix was rather tired and just wanted to find a quiet place for him to sleep for the night. Being the butler, he would sleep in the servant's quarters but they were in a different building so perhaps he could find something within the main out until Blair settled in.

As he lay for a bit thinking amd reading, he decided hed sleep after finishing this last chapter. He decided since he didnt sleep too well last night that hed ask calix for help, even if it is quite awkward to ask somene.

He later saw Calix walking in and heard him ask if he needed anything else, so he shook his head and replied, "No, but could you do me a favor? I felt lonely last night, and I want to make sure I don't have nightmares." He smiled and got up, laying the book aside and heading upstairs. He got dressed into his night wear (aka boxers) and got into bed, yawning.

"Could you read to me or help me get more comfortable somehow?" He asked, looking a bit sad. To be honest he used to cuddle with a pillow , but now he finds if he doesn't cuddle something, his dreams became cloudy and scary.

Calix found the request slightly odd but never once showed it. He simply followed his master to the bedroom and waited for him to get into bed. Wondering if the bed was too big, the wolf grabbed a bunch of the extra pillows on the bed and placed them snug against Blair's sides. "Is that better, My Lord? I could still read to you if you wish unless you are already satisfied." Calix stood beside the bed. "If you rather, I could stay here until you fall asleep, that way you feel less lonely," he explained.

It certainly was unusual to have a master that wanted to be read to but he didn't mind. This was something he could do and it was the first time Blair had requested something that wasn't offensive... Besides the walk of course... Though that wasn't much of a request, he just asked if Calix wished to join him... Oh well, the wolf had treated it like one. The wolf's tail flicked slightly as he was rather tired himself but that was alright, he could stay up a bit longer if that is what Blair wished.

"Well a book would be nice but I understand you're tired. Thank you for everything." He smiled. "Could you uh.. could you stay here though? Just in case.." He blushed and snuggled into the covers.

Afterwards he quickly fell asleep, relaxed with all the pillows around him and feeling much less lonely. The night was entirely peaceful and he did not experience any nightmares. He had good dreams about exploring the Manor and spending the day with Calix.

Blair awoke slowly and quite late in the day, rolling out of bed and getting dressed appropriately. He was starting to get used to the pampered life but he still felt nice doing things on his own sometimes. Since he had lots of money, being royalty, he decided today that he wanted to go shopping for clothing and things. Of course, he knew Calix wouldn't let him leave without getting breakfast. Once breakfast was served, he ordered Calix to eat with him at the table. "We're leaving right after breakfast and you need breakfast as much as I do." He said.

"Of course, My Lord. I shall wait here until you fall asleep," the wolf said standing by the bed. It didn't take long for Blair to fall asleep and Calix quiet slipped out of the room and slept down stairs on the couch with a small blanket over him. He was a bit cold but it could have been worse.

The next morning, he woke earlier than usual and left the building to go to the servant's quarters where he showered and changed before returning to cook breakfast. Though, he wasn't sure when the master would be up. He wouldn't be able to sleep in all the time but for a week while trying to settle in, It was alright for him to try and get use to the place. As soon as Blair did wake and got out of bed, Calix who had greeted the maid and given her her job for the day, he asked the cook to start on breakfast for the mater.

The wolf had eaten while his master was asleep still and waited patiently for his lord to come down. "You needn't worry about me, My Lord. I ate earlier this morning while you were sleeping." He didn't even have to lie, not that he ever would. Blair just woke late so of course it was nearly lunch time. "If you would like, we may also get lunch while we are in town, that way you wouldn't need to travel all the way back to the manor. I shall also get a carriage ready for your departure," Calix explained. He bowed himself out to get the carriage since getting to town was farther than one could simply walk... at least for a lord. The wolf always walked back and forth enjoying the fresh air and exercise. Plus, he couldn't afford a driver for the carriage until now.

While the wolf was out, the cook took Blair's dishes when he was done. The cook was an odd creature with, what looked like scales on his forehead and ridges along the middle starting at the nose. He also had scales on his arms as well as large hands and claws. He had long hair tightly pulled back.

Blair ate quickly and thanked the chef when giving him the dishes. He didn't speak a word about the appearance of the other servant. But he did realize that this world was so much different from his own that it was shocking at 5imes. He pulled on his coat after cleaning his teeth and hair and such, then his boots and then he was out the door. He didn't realize that he had more than one servant. He was just expecting Calix today. He got into his carriage as they rolled off. "Calix, I wasn't appearance ware that there was more servants than you. Where were they on the first few days I was here?" He asked, honestly curious. Maybe they were always there and he never usually noticed.

They stopped at the first shop, a clothing store. To humor himself a bit, he asked Calix what clothing would be appropriate for him to wear as a lord, half expecting to find a ridiculous outfit. But he wasn't sure when he was looking through all the clothing items and outfits. He liked certain things but he also didn't like other things. Fashion in this world was a bit different than he was used to as well.

After their exciting trip to the tailors where he got some new outfits, he believed he should go to the nearby bookstore next. He gazed at all the books available for him and saw one made by the author of the previous book he read in the library is the the previous day. He decided to purchase a few more books to keep him entertained and then went on his way to the next shop.

The next stop was decided to be a lunch break, as they had been out for a few hours now. Even if it didnt quite feel like it, shopping was quite the long process. They hadn't even went grocery shopping yet! They sat at a table together, just Blair and Calix, and Blair decided to order a juicy rare steak for Calix, as well as soup and a sandwich for himself.

Calix entered the carriage after his master and sat down to answer his Question about the servants. "There are several servants that work within the manor. You have one personal butler, a chef, a handful of maids, a driver, as well as a few guards.. Due to the fact that there isn't always a lord living in the manor, hours of when the servants work have been cut. Yesterday was a day off for all except me. You see, you pay your servants using tax money and the tax collectors will only give the money to the lords of the manor so within the next week, You will see an income from all the taxes collected while the last master was away and you will be able to get more servants in on a more regular basis," the wolf explained. He didn't bother going into why he worked far more than other servants but with how he explained things, it sounded like he had his days off that were on a different schedule from others so Blair wouldn't realize what he meant.

They stopped at the first clothing store and Calix gave many tips on what a Lord should or shouldn't wear. He gave advice on formal clothes for appearances, parties, and balls as well as what should be worn when in public or on normal outings that weren't so formal. He then explained what was acceptable to wear in the manor when doing things like paperwork and so on. There were many different outfits a Lord must wear.

The wolf took the time to pay for everything since the money system wasn't something Blair was use to in this world and left the items to be picked up by another servant and personally delivered to the manor. He did the same at the book store noting what Blair wanted and purchasing what he could.

It wasn't long after that where the two went to stop for lunch. They entered a high end restaurant where the two got a private room. Calix still couldn't stand the fact that his master insisted that he eat with him but the wolf sat down and ate the meal provided. He kept a straight face and ate the meal. However, his tail betrayed him as it wagged back and forth at the joy of how delicious the meal was.

After lunch, Calix paid and they headed out. Coming out of a clothing store right next to them, was another member of the wolf clan, also the only other one Blair had seen in the whole town. Calix looked over a bit stunned and wanted to go over and say hello but he restrained himself and remained by his master's side. The other wolf, of gray fur, similar to Calix only darker, noticed the butler. This wolf was also dressed similar to Calix and seemed to be at least 3 or 4 years older. As he saw the smaller wolf, he also wanted to say hi but noticed Blair as well and simply turned to walk right passed them without a word. Clearly the wolves weren't suppose to talk to one another in the presence of one of their masters.

Blair sighed and smiled, seeing Calix's wagging tail. "I'm so glad you enjoy it, Calix. Don't be afraid to show emotion." He said, finishing up his food as Calix paid. He found the payment system quite odd but at least he had Calix who understood it more than him. He thanked Calix for helping him today, so he wasn't were how he'd be able to do this by himself. Why was paying so complicated in this world? In his world it was the quick swipe of a debit card or paper bills, but he wasn't sure how taxes were calculated and things like that in this world so he was pretty grateful that Calix did it all for him, he wasn't sure what he would do without Calix sometimes.

Making their way out of the restaurant and spotting the other wolf, Blair was dumbfounded. He didn't realize wolf boy hybrids were so common in this world. He tried to say hello and call the other male over, but he walked right past them. "Hmm. A bit rude, don't you think?" He laughed a bit. "Are they afraid of me?" He asked, a bit confused. "They shouldn't be afraid. Is it because you have a master and he doesn't? Hmm.. weird." He wondered why the other would be so afraid of socializing with them.

They soon hopped back into the carriage and headed towards the Manor. Upon arriving, Blair was greeted with a letter. He sat and opened up the letter. It was a formal invitation to a ball tonight, at 8 pm sharp. "Wow! Calix, this looks like fun. Do you think they'd like me? I would love to go!" He looked quite excited. Finally, some entertainment besides shopping and reading! "Am I getting that outfit I chosee to go to balls in?" He asked, as the outfits were Stull in the process of being delivered to the Manor.

"Please, Master, don't be upset with him. Wolves aren't suppose to talk to one another in the presence of anyone higher ranked than us. Do to history, wolves aren't exactly painted in the right light... That's also why there aren't many wolves around here. Your manor just happens to be close to the Royal castle and that wolf that passed us works there." Calix motioned towards the huge castle on the other side of the town. "We don't get the chance to see each other do to the distance of the castle and manor," The wolf explained.

The two headed back and Calix was quieter than usual as he kept thinking about the wolf they saw. It had been years since they'd seen each other and it was sad that they didn't get the chance to talk... Heck it had been several years before he'd seen another wolf but longer since he'd seen that one... Calix had to push it out of his head as they arrived at the manor.

As they entered, the maid handed Blair a letter that the wolf thought nothing of until he heard that it was an invite to the ball. Calix spun around instantly and walked over. He looked over the letter. This was way too soon. Sure, the royal family was one of the first to know about the new lord but Blair hadn't settled in yet... He didn't know any basic manners or how this world operated and now he was suppose to meet the royal family in such a public display?! Calix was terrified.

"Please tell me you know how to dance... I will teach you the manners needed when meeting the royal family and I will be accompanying you. This is not an invitation that you can refuse. The outfit picked out today will arrive on time for this but until then, you must learn." The wolf lead the master to a ball room they had their own to guide him on what to or not to do. "First off, treating a servant like an equal is a definite 'No' I will not be dining with you and you will not be taking care of anything yourself. You are a Lord and higher than most but even you must bow respectfully to the royal family. Keep your head down and do not make eye contact with them unless they tell you to raise your head. If you get that then you have been accepted." Calix stood to the side and then drew his hand outward towards Blair giving off a fairly feminine look.

"Now, as you should know, it is the lady that will approach you if looking for a dance so you can just walk around and mingle, keep only small talk until a lady asks you to dance. They will stand in a position similar to this in which you then bow and accept. She will take the lead so you only need to follow her step but do not step on her toes. This kingdom is based on a matriarchy so that means the queen holds status over the king and the princess over the prince. The future queen has two older brothers so don't be mislead. A male can not take over the throne." Calix motioned for Blair to come in and show how he danced while the wolf continued his explanation. "If you meet the princess, you must be extra polite, compliment her but do not start a topic or ask questions. She already knows you are from another world but only a handful of the royal family do so you must not let anyone else know. As far as anyone else is concerned, you are an ambassador from a foreign land. After all, that is your given title," Calix said.

The wolf moved and lead Blair around making sure one hand was up in his and the other was placed on the wolf's hip. He danced gently making sure his master could keep up.
