"There you boys are, I haven't had dinner brought down yet. Are you boys hungry?" Bulma typed in that last bit before turning to her son.

 

Trunks gulped but tried to remain normal, "Yeah we smelled the fish. It s smells good."

 

Goku smiled over at his son, "come dig in kids." He didn't think anything of the two of them being together, they were always together.

"Starving!" Goten ran over to the fish and grabbed for a piece of fish, only to have his hand smacked away. He looked up at the angry look he was receiving from the prince and swallowed hard.

 

Vegeta growled as he narrowed his eyes. Killing intent was clear but he remained strangely calm, calm for Veheta. "Goten..."

Trunks didn't move from the door. He was scared to look away from them. The snack on Goten's hand made him tense but if he reacted now it would be too obvious.

 

"He's not going to eat it all," Goku leaned over kissing Vegeta's cheek. "Let them join us." He was getting more openly affectionate with him without realizing.

Goten wentry pale as he wathen the two before him. He was far yo scared to reach for a bite again. Perhaps it would have been better not to enter. He slowly stepped back and mentally prayed the oldest Saiyan would never realize what the teen's had done.

 

Vegeta looked to Goku, the glare gone. He was about to say something when he caught the movement out of the corner of his eye. He narrowed his eyes again and watched the teen. He could smell it, but more than that he could sense something between them. Like an attempt at a bond but not fully. "Trunks... speak... now."

Goku then felt the tension over the bond and looked at the boys. He wasn't sure what it was but then he also noticed the smell.

 

Trunks looked to Goten then back to his father, "You choose now to get involved in my private life? I'm fine. We're fine." He grabbed Goten's hand and stormed from the room.

"Trunks!" Vegeta moved to his feet too quickly and winced, grabbing his gut. "Shit..." He made a face and moved toward the trashbin. His shoulders tensed and he groaned, before convulsing and throwing up what little he ate. He cursed the heavens and Goku for the bad taste in his mouth.

 

Goten frowned and watched Trunks. "Is it okay to do that? He'll be mad at you, won't he?" The brunette came to a halt and grasped Trunks' hand to stop him. He pulled the Silverette toward him. "Sometimes parents are like that. They drive me crazy too, but running from the issue won't help."

Goku was immediately by his side rubbing Vegeta's back, "take some deep breaths... Are you okay?" He knew Vegeta's anger would need to be addressed or maybe putting him in less stressful situations.

 

Trunks couldn't look up, "I don't want him to hurt you... He's the one who told me to not get involved with you. He's hating Goku right now too but they're together now."

Vegeta frowned and turned away from the trash bin. He didn't want Goku seeing him like this. He felt week and disgusting. He hated it. "I need water..."

 

Goten smiled sympathetically and stepped closer, pulling Trunks into a hug. He pat the silverette's head and sighed as he hummed. "Trunks, he is just concerned. Perhaps there are things about what the moon is doing that we don't know about."

Goku reached onto the table and handed him a glass of water, "here you go." He hated to see him feeling unwell. Liking at Bulma he made the puppy eyed look.

 

"Oh alright," Bulma folded up her sleeves. "I'll make you some good early pregnancy food that won't be so heavy on your stomach."

 

If the moon caused this then maybe what they had wasn't real? Trunks nodded his head, "Yeah.. maybe he's less angry and we can talk."

Vegeta sipped at the waterm and frowned as he once again took a seat. Not even a day, and he was already sick of being sick. He watche'd Bulma a moment before looking to Goku. "Thank you... Goku.." The prince blushed and looked quickly down at the glass. He didn't quite understand the moodswings. They made sense when he had them, but after they made zero sense.

 

Goten grinned and pulled Trunks back the way they had come, poking his head in first. He put on a good front, but he was really scared. He had never seen Vegeta as mad as he had right then. "C-can we come in, dad? We had some questions about the moon."

Goku's eyes went wide. He's only called him by his earth name once before. A blush spread over his cheeks as he stared at Vegeta. He actually hadn't heard his son he was too busy being in awe of Vegeta speaking to him. Then blinked as he registered their energy, "huh what?"

 

"We have questions about the moon and changes we're having," trunks looked at Goku. He noticed the bite mark on his neck then glanced to Goten but didn't ask.

Vegeta rubbed the back of his neck in embarrassment before looking to the two teens. He could feel the anger build up, but at the same time he just felt wonder. Wonder of whether or not the two boys understood the concept of bonding or mating. Wondered if the two could be happy. There was one thought he worried about most as he stared at the two boys. "Would you still feel the same if you shard a brother?"

 

"Huh?" Goten blinked in confusion as he looked between the two adults and Trunks. He couldn't make heads or tails of what the prince was saying. "I'm lost, but we have a few questions. Like, why is there like an empty feeling? As if I'm starving?"

Goku didn't know why he had an empty feeling. Him and Vegeta bonded at almost the same time. He felt full of happiness and belonging. Fulfilled. He only got that after an all out battle to the death, "I'm not sure but I'm also not sure now is a good time to ask Vegeta. Maybe you should have a nap?" He reached over to touch Vegeta's cheek.

 

"What's with you two?" Trunks didn't understand why they were suddenly so touchy feely.

Vegeta leaned in to the other's touch and closed his eyes, only to jump at his son's outburst. The prince frowned as he stared at the silverette. "Trunks... calm down, baby. We should talk about this clearly."

 

Goten was all kinds of lost as he watche'd the scene before him. 'Shared a brother'? He was confused by what the adult had meant. He also hesitated since he knew his dad was right. Goku was the only one close enough to have his contact.

Goku leaned back in his chair and dropped his hand. He almost growled at the teens but stopped himself. He of course wanted to know more too and knew the boys deserved to know.

 

Trunks' eyebrows rise at the baby comment. Who was this man and what had he done with his father? Taking a deep breath he shrugged, "okay so talk then. What do you mean share a brother?"

Goten gripped Trunks' hand firmly and frowned. He was worried the silverette was gonna push too far. His father seemed agitated as well. "Trunks... maybe it should wait..."

 

Vegeta smiled at his son and grasped Goku's hand gently in his. "We are having a baby... granted it could be a sister, but that isn't too likely." The prince looked up at the taller man and sighed before he turned his attention back to the teens. "The reason you two aren't whole... it's because you haven't fully mated.you have to finished the bond in order to get rid of that feeling. I really hoped you wouldn't go for one of Goku's boys because it might make things complicated and I am sure they have their father's innate ability to devour you before impregnating you."

Goku gently squeezed Vegeta's hand as he looked at his mate. He was excited they were having a baby no matter what it was.

 

Trunks was a little lost bit sighed, "alright so you're trying to say Goten and I are brothers because you two are sleeping together now?"

Goten froze and stared at the adults. They were slerping together? Vegeta pregnant? Vegeta pregnant with dad's kid? Nothing made sense at that point and then he realized something. He spun around to face Trunks. "You can get pregnant?!"

 

"No... I'm saying that you would both share a brother. And or sister." Vegeta sighed and played with Goku's fingers a little. He wasn't sure how to say it. He just wanted his son to understand the situation he was in. "If I have a son, then it is your brother. It would be Goku's son, so that would make it also Goten's brother."

It was all too much for him. This man couldn't be his father, him and Goku wouldn't get along so well, everyone can get pregnant- He fainted.

 

Goku smiled to Vegeta as he played with his fingers but jumped as trunks fainted, "Well... He took that well." Goku chuckled nervously and kiss the back of Vegeta's hand.

"Trunks!" Goten was quick on his feet as he hurried to pick the silverette up. He shook him gently and frowned before looking up at the three adults. "Help him!"

 

Vegeta quickly moved off the table to pull Trunks to his chest. He pat the purpleft haired teen's cheek and frowned. "Trunks.... baby... wake up. It's not all that bad. I was freaked out too..."

Trunks blinked as he started to come back around. He rubbed his own face and groaned, "I don't know how to handle this dad..." His head was reeling from how dizzy he felt. The partial bond reached out to Goten but trunks couldn't feel him.

 

Goku walked over to them and put a hand on Goten's shoulder, "it's gonna be okay. I know it doesn't make sense yet but it will."

Vegeta smiled at his son and shook his head. He considered skipping the next bit of conversation, but thought better of it. "Well, just remember... we can work together to figure anything out."

 

Goten frowned at the tug he felt. He hesitated before reaching out for Trunks' hand. "Um... do... do you mind? I.. I would like to learn more about this bond?"

Trunks looked at his father but slowly stood up, "it's... I'm sorry dad but it's weird. You being affectionate and... holding Goku's hand. It's weird." He couldn't wrap his head around the two of them being together. "I mean if it's real and makes you happy." Turning to Goten he gently squeezed his hand. "Sure."

 

Goku smiled and pulled down the collar of his Gi, "well for one you mark each other with a bite. My mind is linked with Vegeta's now. Pieces of information is coming through from it." Little did he know but some of Vegeta's traits were seeping through too. Maybe his calm nature could help Vegeta but perhaps Vegeta's aggression could change Goku.

Vegeta frowned as he straightened up and stood next to Goku. He didn't understand why his son, he normally wouldn't pay much mind to, backing away from him made his heart twinge a little. "You two have only completed half the bond. It's like finiching half a fight. It can't be finished and you the champion as long as it remains that way."

 

Goten nodded h is head and frowned, scratching his chin and trying to think about what they were saying. Bite marks.... he reached up to touch his own neck and looked at Trunks'. "And can it cause any harm? Being only half bonded?"

"I think it's mostly emotional harm. I think. Goten if you bit trunks you can feel him but trunks can't feel you," Goku scratched the back of his head wondering if that was correct.

 

Trunks touched his neck and shivered, that spot was really sensitive. He could feel something at the edge of his mind too, "it sounds like marriage."
