" I-I know but .... Tama, did he take a vacation recently and just not tell anyone?" The co-worker panicked and sputtered over the phone. " We've been trying to reach him and he won't answer his phone. Some of us have gone to his apartment and he didn't answer his door so... did he move anywhere?"

"How the hell should I know he stopped talking to me and just threw me away so I wouldn't know" Yukie snapped his temper still quite out of hand as he hung up and huffed clearly pissed at being bother but texted his twin to call him.

Little did Yukie know, Tama was still in the bathtub staring at the wall. He hadn't moved for a full week. He didn't leave to eat, to drink. Though such a short time had passed, Tama had lost a noticeable amount of weight. Not enough to kill him. But he knew he'd die soon if he didn't get up to drink or eat. But he had no motivation to do so. His phone lay on the night stand in his room, the battery had run low, and finally went black when Yukie's text message went through.

Finally that annoying buzzing could finally stop. " Hmmm....shouldn't be long now...maybe a few more days, then I'll be a bother to you no more, Big Brother." Tama mumbled to himself, a smile was there... but he's eyes were dull and didn't have that usual gleam they held.His voice sounded as though it was crackling from how little he's used it the past few days.

Yukie sighed and cursed his twin and got dressed the man paying him the money and leaving taking him to his twins as he unlocked the door and looked around turning on the lights.

Tama sat in the bathroom. His stomach made loud gurgling noises. His lips were dry.He heard the door. 'oh.... maybe a robber came in, well just kill me then please...' He thought to himself before the world grew hazy and dark. Tama fell into a dreamless sleep. He lay deathly still in the tub, waiting for the 'robber' to come and kill the witness.

"God dammit!" Yukie snapped as he glared at his twin and pulled him out of the tub and dried him off and dressed him carrying him to the kitchen as he ordered takeout and got him something to drink. "Your suppose to be the smart one" he grumbled.

Tama laid silent for a moment. He's brother jostling him around and dressing him. He looked upto watch his brother. He smielod and chuckled. " Yay... I get ot see my Big Brother again before I die... It's just an illusion though...." His voice was still rough and cracking. His throat was dry, he didn't drink the water when offered. Just slid out the sides of his mouth.

"...you die on me and you'll destroy me" Yukie whispered as he gently took his twins arm and hooked up an if drip to get water into his body as he set him on the couch and got the food setting it down as he gently touched his twins cheek. "You need to eat for me please" Yukie asked.

Tama looked at the plate. He scoffed. " no I don't wanna eat.... I couldn't eat it anyway, it's not real. Your not my Big Brother, Big Brother likes somebody else now and he's off having a good time with him.... I wasn't good enough...." Tama was sniffling, little hiccups coming out as he tried to hold back from crying. " I just wanted to help him...*hic* I just wanted to be home and relax with him*sob* a-and just stay here for the night... He doesn't like me anymore... I'm gonna die alone!!" He broke down into full blown sobs now. He didn't think he had anymore water in him to cry with. But here were the tears, running down his thin face.

"I always wanted you." Yukie whispered as he sighed and snuggled his twin kissing him softly. "I had a gift for you but you wouldn't let me give it to you...would you let me give it to you now?" Yukie asked softly eating a soft pork dumpling as he looked at his twin.

Tama covered his ears and shook his head. " Don't talk to me so sweetly! Your not real! I've gone crazy!" He pushed himself away weakly. His body was so heavy, he stood but just as quickly fell to the floor, smashing his head on the table, leaving him with a wide gash on his forehead. He touched the cut, and pulled away his fingers examining the blood. He started giggling... then chuckling... then full blown laughter. " I'll die faster now.... head wounds bleed a lot...." And thus he swayed in his spot before falling over and passing out from the rapid blood loss

Yukie swore as he called for an ambulance and put pressure on the wound to stop the bleeding the emergency responders rushing them to the hospital the doctor closing up the wound and hooking him up to lots of machines to help make him better.

And of course it was the hospital that Tama worked at. Myles stood right behind Yukie. He leaned forward and stated in a hushed tone. " I told you, you should've focused more on makin him feel less like he was worthless..."

"....I wanted to but he chose you over me" Yukie replied snappishly as he glared at the man and sat in a chair Luca looking in and then at Myles.

 

"I do ask you don't torment my patient" Luca asked kyles as he smiled coldly.

Myles shrugged. " I'm nor tormenting. Merely stating facts. " He walked to Tama's room, but turned and quipped, " He didn't choose me, by the way.... He came to me because you couldn't control yourself in the bar. Flirting with every guy ...even if it was to get drinks....Just saying that can really fuck a guy up when he's already scarred his lover is gonna leave him...." Myles walked into the room to sit down and just watch over Tama.

So many tubes, and IV drip.... Jesus, he wondered if the other twin had to be hooked up to all this shit when he tried to kill himself. .... Maybe Suicide runs in the family.

All the nurses that walked by glared at Yukie coldly before walking away shaking their heads. None where aware of how far the twins relationships went, they only knew that Tama was dedicated to his Older brother. And now, having one of their own in a bed and knowing the cause.... It was all too scary. They all knew Tama was going to have his medical license taken away. He'd go to therapy just as Yukie did.

Tama's career was ruined... in shambles.

Yukie sighed needing a break as he stepped outside not sure what do do realizing he fucked up everything as he just stayed outside of the room. "Can you stay with him for the night Myles?" Yukie asked hesitantly. "I need to take care of afew things..try to make things right as best as I can" Yukie replied his eyes saddened and troubled by how much he fucked up things Luca frowning and watching over him.

Myles looked over to the older twin with a raised eyebrow. " You really think leaving him right now is a bright idea? The kid just tried to starve himself because he thought you were bored with him and left him...." But Myles sighed, realizing that him being angry wasn't going to solve any problems. " Ya know what ... forget it. Do what you want..... I mean that's why you left right? Cuz Tama wasn't giving you what you wanted.... the very things you couldn't that could've caused you more problems.... but no it's ok, you can go and continue being Big Brother of the year while your brother's life goes down the toilet. Go right ahead" He used his hands to make the motion for Yukie to 'shooe' away. As if he were dismissing a fussy child. He sat back down in his chair and watched. " I would suggest using the back way though, rumor has it the nurses here wanna beat your sorry ass..."

"...I've been working my ass off to buy him a house and if I don't sign the paperwork I lose all my money!" Yukie snapped pissed now. "He shouldn't have to live in a tiny studio and suffer because of me...I'm trying" Yukie replied as he sighed and tried to calm down. "Im trying and no one cares or recognizes that even when I bought him a ring...he didn't even care..."

Myles rolled his eyes. " Sugar Daddies buy their arm candy pretty shiny things to. Just to be sure they don't leave them. Tama was working his ass off and taking care of you at the same time....And I told you from the start, you should have told him that the night you two had that fight.... but you didn't want to listen, so again I say, go do what you want, fix whatever you think you can fix. And let Tama come to terms with the fact he's never going to be the doctor he wanted to be..." Myles turned to Luca, " Now if you please, take him where he wants to go and do what he wants to do... Tama will be awake by tomorrow, you had both best be here when he wakes up.... Lord knows he's gonna fall completely apart when he hears his schooling and studying and all his work was for not."

"Okay" Yukie replied leaving and buying the house moving everything in and then going before the board of directors and begging them to not take away his twins license the boy begging down on his knees and willing to take any punishment in his twins place explaining how it was all his fault and just continued to plead and beg them promisingnhe would do whatever they wanted.

The Board gave the twin a look of sympathy. " We understand your position, but after this, it's shown that Tama is mentally unstable. He'd have to be cleared by a Psychiatrist to even go back to work at a coffee shop. He's become a high risk case now. I'm sorry but he won't be able work at this hospital." A woman explained. She did feel bad for Tama, he was a good nurse. He was amazing with all the children. Every patient would brag about his bed side manner.

" For him to even be up for nomination, he'd need to be cleared by every doctor on this board, and three different Psychiatrists...."

"He's only like this because I kept pushing him and tormenting him because I'm unstable sometimes he was so patient and put up with me and I was horrible Hes only like this because of me....please...please don't take the one thing he loves and has spent his life working for! I'm sorry...I'm trying so hard to work through my problems and I'm trying to work with him on it...if you take it away all of my progress and work will be pointless" Yukie begged.

 

"For their mental health...it would be a mistake doing this not only would it destroy the older brother but it would kill their stability and income...I can't clear Yukie to work until he's been on his medication for afew years...doing this would be horrible...and it would ruin yukies chance of getting better and raising the child he's with" Luca explained Yukie shaking hating to admit he was pregnant and hence why he had wanted to drink..."Yukie acted out due to being afraid of ruining his twins future and dragging him down by having to have him take care of him and his child"

The Board spoke amoung themselves for a moment. They turned back to the two. " Unless he can be cleared by two more Psyc doctors, I'm sorry but Tama won't be able to gain back his licenses back. This meeting is done. I'm sorry for your losses." The Board members got up and left the room.

Of course Myles was waiting outside the door. He walked in, arms crossed. He took in a deep breathe. " .... I'm sorry it didn't work like you wanted.... But Tama's gonna wake up soon. I'll take you so none of the nurses try to stop you... come on..."

"Okay" Yukie replied feeling like shit and hating himself even more as he refused to meet anyone's eyes the poor boy depressed and just done with everything.

They walked in silence for awhile. Myles growled and snarled at any who dared come near him. They walked into the elevator heading for Tama's floor. Myles sent glances at the depressed Twin. " ...... Despite what I said before.... You tried to fix what you broke...But I think if you were honest with Tama in the first place, he probably wouldn't have pushed himself to the point of no return..." Myles spoke calmly and honestly. If Tama knew about the baby, he would realize he had somebody to live for, and work for.
