"In our culture, we build places to house our loved one's bodies so we can pay our respects and visit them over the years for our morning. I know things are not the same for your people but Vidar will need a place," she explained.

"For as long as I can I'll watch over them for you. Do you want Vidar to find love again if he can?" she asked not wanting Vidar to spend the rest of his life alone and morning his mate's death. "Vidar has centuries ahead of him in his life," she explained.

"Well he might not know who you are so he can't have his heart closed to others. I doubt I need to tell him the less part, anyone who doesn't like Hem doesn't stand a chance," she chuckled softly then sat down next to him. "I haven't had the chance to say this but I'm glad you have been in Vidar's life. He's the better for you in his life," she said as she held his hand.

“Heh...I’m surprised he didn’t kill me a scrawny deer sent to steal from him anyone else would have” honey admitted as he smiled a little and blushed. “I’m going to miss him” honey mumbled sadly as he curled up around grandmother glad to have some comfort in his final moments as he relaxed a little. “Can you tell him I’m sorry...for not letting him say goodbye?” Honey whispered already slipping away his body just to tiered to do anything.

"Tell him in his dreams," she said softly as she stroked Honey's hair. She knew Vidar would hear him in his dreams. Though he would be upset that neither him or Hem were allowed to say goodbye to Honey. She had to worry about Hem and how he would take all of this. He was still so young.

Grandmother stayed with Honey, using her magic to help Honey's soul find his way to where he needed to go for now. After so time she used the earth and plants around him to make a proper tomb for him before returning to Vidar and Hem.

Vidar didn't flinch when there was a clashing sound in front o him from the pot slipping out of his grasp. "No Hemlock," he said softly, his sight becoming cloudy with tears. "No son, mommy won't need a place at the table anymore," he said softly.

“Why?” Hem asked confused as he stopped clearly not understanding where his mom was as he frowned not liking that dad was keeping mom locked away in the bedroom all of the time.

"Hem I never wanted your mommy to leave! I thought Ihad time to help him live longer, he didn't tell me he would die soon until today. I don't want your mama to be gone. I want him back. I want him to be with us forever. Hem, I know you have magic and I know you know your mama's spirit, go ahead reach out to him."

“Just leave me alone you all lied to me and I hate this place and everyone in it!” Hem screamed as sharp ice suddenly shot out from his feet covering the house in ice. “...I hate you...I wish it had been you instead!” He screamed before leaving and locking himself in his own little room Hem clearly confused and adjusting to what he was and the unfairness of life.

Vidar frowned but looked at her granny when she felt her hand on his back. "I know, I think I said the said stuff when my parents abandoned me," he sighed as he stood and got rid of the ice then made a milkshake for Hem and set in front of his room when he got hungry and went to his own room to cry properly.

Hem just stayed in his room for the night refusing to leave as he sulked and cried a lot.

Vidar was sent outside to get some air and walk by his grandmother. He didn't want any air but she had told him where Honey was buried and when to place flowers there himself and would be able to led Hem there later when he wanted to see it.

Vidar frowned as he held stubborn Hem's hand. "Come on Hem you need to be out in the sun, it's good for your bones and growing strong," he sighed as he looked at his son. He didn't know what to do with Hem's sadness.
