“ I want to hear it every day and say I love you back.” Yukie replied with a smirk as he kissed Julius’s cheek before resting his head on his mates shoulder holding Julius’s hand all the closer. “Mmh so, hypothetically if you’re spanking my ass am I forbidden from moaning your name as I’m punished~” Yukie asked teasingly having found Julius’s words very amusing as he chuckled playfully. “I’ll behave for the most part, thought the times I don’t you’ll have to figure out if it was actually me.” Yukie added as he looked at Julius with a smile before letting his mates hand go. “Well then? Shall we get ready for the day? I wouldn’t mind taking you out again, there’s a good forest hike on the other side of the city.” Yukie added not sure what to do for the day since he hadn’t planned more to their outing.

“maybe we should ask what he wants. I mean if he’s more sentient than the others.” Haruhi pondered as he took Yumros hand holding it close. “To be fair I’ve always seen the shadows around the house as like pets? Maybe? It’s hard to explain because some acted like humans others more like inky goo and then there were the ones that were just angry.” Haruhi explained trying his beast to categorize the shadows. “Then again, Haru always corrected me on which was which. He scolded me once saying I’m making them angry not being able to tell them apart and walking all over them. Truth be told I can hardly see that kinda stuff. It just looks like natural shadows so I couldn’t tell where to walk and step half the time.” Haruhi explained knowing that his inability to learn had made Haru cross with him for the whole week and the smaller centaur had refused to talk to Haruhi because he was upset for the shadows in their place.

Julius kept smilinglike a silly goose as he hear Yukie's reply.his heart was dancing around in his chest and making his cheeks almost hurt from smiling too wide.

He chuckled at Yukie question. "I didn't say you couldn't. I wouldn't be the one getting punished in that scenario" he returned the other's teasing straight back at him. He rubbed his thumb against Yukie's hand that held his. Julius enjoyed even the small simple things with Yukie.

Julius looked up at the clock on the wall it was early midt day. "Are you sure we can?" He asked just to make sure. ".. I'm just not use to us having this much time together. Not that that is a problem! I would love to go hiking." He quickly added so Yukie wouldn't get the wrong idear. "But you don't haft to come up with stuff to do that would make he happy. If you wanna go somewhere else some time just say so." Ahh he wasn't sure if his words could be missread but he hoped they wouldn't.

Yumro couldn't even hold his laugher in. He laughed so hard that his side began to ache. "Sweetly are you sure that really was the reason they was mad at you?? Honestly that just sounds bad for business from their part. Shadows don't feel it if you step om them because they don't have a physical  body. Shadows don't feel pain. Only sadness, anger and joy.  Nothing else. And don't worry. You are my mate I'll keep protecting you."

“Well, why don’t we go out out? Like to an aquarium or an amusement park?” Yukie offered as he looked at Julius before kissing his lovers cheek. “I like making you happy, besides the only thing I need to do is pick up some materials for back home. Something like that can be done online or at a later date.” Yukie explained as he walked over and picked out some comfy shoes. “The only thing I want you to pick out is a new bedroom set for us. The one I have is ancient and I’ve only kept it because I’ve been stuck in the past and because I’m comfortable with it. Honestly it wouldn’t hurt to modernize and update some of the furniture in our home.” Yukie explained knowing that with the house renovation it would be good to get more of his mate into the place weather that was in paint color or in furniture, whatever it was would bring Yukie comfort when they where apart.

”Thats what Haru said…but back then…he was a bit cheeky. He could have been lying for all I know but I don’t think he was lying about me upsetting them he’s pretty honest when it comes to his emotions. Maybe he was just upset that I didn’t respect or acknowledge them?” Haruhi added with a huff of anger as he looked away slightly embarrassed about not knowing such things about the shadows. “It’s not exactly my fault for not knowing it’s not like I was raised around this stuff since birth….centaurs…don’t keep with demon ways they are more inline with earth and humans. Most can’t see anything like Haru and you can and those that do were removed.” Haruhi grumbled as he felt rather foolish. “I honestly always felt I fit in better with humans and maybe that’s because I was suppose to be with them instead.” Haruhi added as he knew Yumro didn’t mean anything by his laughter but he couldn’t help but feel that divide between worlds again the same thing he had always felt growing up in their family.

Julius looked thoughtful as he bite his lower lip. "I do like the aquarium. I'm not really into amusement parks.. too much noise and I easily gets sick on the rids." He admitted as yukie went to get his shoes on.

"Wow you ask me to pick the style for out bedroom.. that is like one of the most important rooms. Do you really think I could satisfie your demands??" Julius asked halfway teasingly. "I've never lived with someone before so it makes me kinda nervous. I'm use to your bed now but what if you don’t feel comfortable the same way as I do?.. tell you what I'm gonna make the bed myself. Because you like me and there for haft to like my stuff to. " he tried to reason with himself as he thought about it excitedly. It would also be a good way to add his touches to their home.

"That's settled!" Julius said as he took on his shoes and jacket. They hadn't brought much with them to the hotel so he didn't haft to look over the room for too long to see if they missed anything.

"Yumro pulled Haruhi in closer and forced himself to stop laughing. He fully well knewn it wasn't Haruhi's fault. Heck properly even Yukie didn't know much about shadow. But then again Yumro was the one who feel most connected yo the shadows. Where Yukie had the died souls.

"Sorry Haruhi" Yumro apologised and gently kissed Haruhi's cheek. "I wasn't laughing at you truely. There just aren't much known about shadows but I can teach you." Yumro said as he guided Haruhi through the portal they arrived rigtig in front of grandma's house.

“Oh yeah? We’ll make sure it’s very sturdy and don’t overwork yourself on it.” Yukie replied fully in support of his mates ideas on making their bed. “Truth be told I’ve slept comfortably in piles of leaves and moss so whatever you make will be magical.” Yukie teased as he took Julius’s hand and lead them out of the hotel and down to a car waiting for them. “First though I need to do a house run. Big department store kinda thing to stock up the pantry and such.” Yukie explained having had a list of errands to run today.

“mmh I’m sure you can.” Haruhi huffed as he looked over at the house and waited as Yue peeked out of the house and waved at the two before yelling for Shan and Haru.

”your both late! You said only a day!!!!” Haru yelled from the attic window as he was busy cleaning and dusting the upstairs having been roped into cleaning the house and organizing.

"Ah me overwork! Babe you should soon learn that I don't do things half way" Julius smirked as they walked out of their room.

Julius crawled in on the seat. "Of course. Now that I think about it I could use som supplies too. I've been thinking on getting a collar for Ziggi. You know because he has gotten pretty big now.. im and I some other stuff too"

Yumro had one arm resting around Haruhi's hips used the other to wave to Yukie's mother.

He smiled at the ladies called out for the boy and looked up as he suddenly heard Haru's high voice yell at them.

"It been exactly one day buddy" Yumro smiled. Time in this dimension worked a bit slower than theirs. "Are you helping grandma clean?" He asked.

Shan poked his head out of the chimney. He had sort and ashes all over his face. She was very persuading!" The guy said as he crawled out of the chimney and jumped down onto the roof and slided down the roof. Had it been any regular kid Yumro would have been afraid the kid would fall down and break his neck. But just as he reached Haru in the windows he stopped while floating in the air.

"Don't be scared. The kid is a Shadow, eventhough he has a regular body now he still has his old abilities like making himself light." Yumro explained just in case Haruhi was starting to worry.

“Ziggi?” Yukie asked confused as he looked at Julius before pulling forward and driving down the road. “Did you adopt a dog?” Yukie asked curiously as he focused on driving but was curious what Julius had that would need a collar. After ten minutes Yukie had parked at a giant department store that contained mostly everything one would need. “Alright we are here.” Yukie added as he got out and walked around the car to open the door for Julius.

“good to know though he’s gunna have to tone it down around me.” Haruhi added having almost had a heart attack seeing Shan jumping and flying around like that. “Children don’t jump off roofs I’m pretty sure it’s a good rule to have back home.” Haruhi mumbled as he calmed himself and waved for both boys to come over. “Get cleaned up so we can go!” Haruhi asked as he stayed by Yumro just outside of the circle barrier.

Julius smiled at himself will looking out of the front window. He had properly forgotten to tell Yukie.

"Ziggi is the name I chose for my familiar you know that litte snake that always stuck to me. Well I just named him reasonly and he grew. He also aren't stuck to me anymore and is very independent. I can always feel him though our bond and he will come to me when I wish him to. But he really is big now, couldn't even fit inside the house." Julius explained while gently rubbing Yukie's leg will his hand.

When they arrived Julius couldn't help but be charmed by Yukie courtesy and kissed his mate's cheek as he got out of the car. He held him for a moment longer as he asked. "Should I grab us a cart?" He nodded towards the entrance were they were lined up.

He took Yukie's hand hand intertwined their fingers. Julius ignore the stares from people around them. As longe as they left them be they could look all they want.

Yumro tried to supress a groan enough so only Haruhi could hear it. "My mate is so bossy.. its rather hot" Yumro looked at Haruhi with lust in his eyes. Of coures he couldn't act on it now so he chose to just rub cirles with his thumb on Haruhi's hip.

He chuckled and leaned in to gently kiss Haruhi's face.

Just the Yue cam out to them. She blushed slightly seeing two so good looking men embracing. She couldn't tell Yumro had gotten most of his looks from Yukie. Aside from the eyes, cheeks and hight. Yumro looked like a more mature version of her son would still could be called pretty. Yumro was handsome with his firm jawline and toned mucles. She thought that maybe it was the wolf blood in him that made Yukie's design turn out like his. 

Shan had pulled Haru with him to the bathroom to wash up. "Your hair is all white with dust" the shadow laughed as he tried to whip it out . Shan himself did already have black hair but his pale face was dirty all over. Shan took off his clothes once they were in the bathroom. He didn't hesitant to strip eventhough Haru was with him. "Come Haru we can help eachother wash it will be quicker" Shan smiled back at Haru as he stood butt naked and turned on the shower water.

“Ah, so if you don’t mind me asking where does he stay?” Yukie asked curiously as he looked at his mate gently kissing his hand as they grabbed a cart and waited in line. “Do you need like a cave for him?” Yukie asked softly worried that the snake was just thrown out into the world because it was to big.

“I’m not bossy” Haruhi replied with a huff as he waited with Yumro snuggling into his mate a little.

”I’m good. I prefer to wash myself” Haru replied as he looked away feeling awkward. “Most people don’t shower together unless they are you know a couple.” Haru explained as he covered his eyes and moved to wait outside of the bathroom.

Julius thought for a second before answering. ".. I honestly don't know. He travles across the world by teleporting. Just as I can. He however prefers staying in the Amazons. Which is best for cold blooded creatures such as him. And remember he is made of magic so he is pretty hard to harm" Julius explained as they waited.

Yumro chuckled and kissed Haruhi's head. He adored the way Haruhi's cheeks puffed up when he huffed at him. Although he tried to sound annoyed with Yumro. He could still feel Haruhi lean his body closer to him. Yumro's fingers aching to pick the centaur up in his arms and run straight back to the house and worship the other's body. But.. he would behave..

"How was is?" Yumro asked Yue as they waited. "I hope they weren't too much trouble"

Yue looked back at the two and shook her head. "No, no trouble at all. I've had a great time with them here. It brings life to the place having kids around. And Haru is just too cute. He remindes me so much of you Haruhi. You are both so very alike" she smiled kindly.

 

"Okay if you are sure, I'll be quick!" Shan shrugged and jumped into the showerto wash himself clean. Luckily he knew how to do that now. After he took a towel and quickly dried his body in before jumping back into his clothes.

"There, all clean!" Shan smiled widely as he jumped out of the bathroom hair still dripping wet because he'd forgotten to dry it.

“Well to be fair I never thought he would get bigger then like a nice sized tree branch.” Yukie admitted as he looked at Julius for a moment amused that he would be able to make something like that. “So…um why a collar? Do the people where he’s living need to know his name?” Yukie asked curiously as he waited in line with Julius as they got closer to the door.

“I forget you actually do know a bit about us.” Haruhi replied as he stuck a little more to Yumros side. “I’m Im glad they both were behaved and fun to be around. Im sure we will have to bring them back here to play again.” Haruhi added as he looked at Yumro for his agreement on their kids.

 

“you should dry your hair or you’ll catch a cold.” Haru grumbled as he grabbed the towel and dried off Shans head finding the shadow rather silly that he didn’t know the basics of such care. “Honestly, if you don’t watch this stuff you’ll get sick and I’ll be worried about your health.” Haru added as he finished drying off Shans hair before. Setting the towel down and picking up his own. “Wait out here for me and we will go to Haru and Yumro together okay?” Haru asked as he walked into the bathroom and shut the door so he could shower.

"That is the catch you see, he doesn't meet anyone. But in case a wizard or witch wishes to catch him it good to have it ready just in cast. That and he asked me to give him something that visibly showed whom he belongs to." Julius shared a look to Yukie's side. "He's still very clingy, kind of like som other guy I know" Julius winked teasingly at him.

"I'll wait out here!" He called back as Haru shut the door to the bedroom. Shan sat down and played with the small shadows hidding in his shadow. The small mice were quite cute.

“Please me clingy?” Yukie asked with a playful scoff as they entered the store and Yukie held Julius’s hand as they went deeper inside the crowded store. “So I think first thing first I need some mixed nuts. Haru asked for them for the crowd and some blueberries for his plant.” Yukie added as he pulled out quite the long list of items that he agreed to get everyone.

Haru of course took his time as he cleaned off all the dust and washed his hair and changed into his centaur form to give it a good scrub feeling that the dirt seeped through into his other form: drying off Haru made sure to dry off all of his coat before slipping on a t shirt he had packed and walked out his little hooves clicking against the floor. “I need to stretch out this form a little it’s been six months.” Haru explained as his tail swished softly his coat and tail as soft as velvet.

Julius like holding Yukie hand so casually like this. It was what couples usally did and he felt grounded and calm.

He picked ud a bag of nut mix as Yukie pointed them out from his list. Then some fresh blueberries and placed them in the cart he kept holding Yukie's hand as they went from aisle to aisle and fund the things off Yukie's list.

Julius picked out some smaller things for himself, like a new deodorant and a toothbrush.

When they reached the Cats and Dogs aisle Julius instantly went the look for the biggest collar they sold. There were alot of driffrent styres but he saw one that he thought would look nice on his familiar. A big silver chain wide enough for a person to to slip through it it was at the lenght of his whole upper arme as he held in in his hand. "This one looks nice and with his name on a matching tag its gonna looks good don't you think so?" Julius asked Yukie as he held the collar up.

Shan looked back as he heard the sounds of hoves behind him and opened is eyes wide. He hadn't seen Haru's true form before. "So pretty Haru!" Shan jumped up, smiling all over his face. He cirkled Haru, looking at him from every angle. Haru tiny centaur body had the most adorable little hoves that just made Shan wanna squeal. "Can I touch your coat? It looks so soft. I promise I'm still clean" he said and he showed Haru his hands.

“It looks beautiful” Yukie replied as he admired the chain and his mate. “You should look at a blacksmith for a nice tag you can get most things custom made.” Yukie offered as he admired the collar one last time before gently smiling at Julius. “Though I worry it might be heavy.” Yukie added not really realizing how bit the snake was and well he worried also about it getting caught on a branch or in a trap.

“I don’t see what the big deal is mom is the same thing I am.” Haru mumbled as he blushed a little bit embarrassed by the attention. At the asking of touching his coat Haru moved a little uneasy. “You…you can just be gentle.” Haru added as he wasn’t use to being petted or even looked at in this form so he was rather tense. “It’s only for a few minutes to dry off and then I’m changing back” Haru added with a huff as he crossed his arms not happy to be in such a form.

"That's a good idea love" Julius smiled as he placed the collar in the cart.

"It dosen't feel very heavy so I don't think so. But if it is I can always cast a little light spell over if.. mh I properly still should and make is change size to fit him always. You give me such good idears" the witch beamed as it gave him another good reason to go through his spell books again.

"Did we get everything on your little list?" Julius grined teasingly.

.....

"Yeah but he don't look cute or pretty as you do" Shan admitted as he blushed, the little boy's finger gently gracing Haru's pelt. He chuckled it was so soft like a kitten. Haru was smart beyond anyone he knew and he was the so cute Shan couldn't stay away from him.

"Do you think you can run as fast as a shadow in that form?" Shan asked thoughfully as he was curious.

"Maybe we could try it out, I bet it would be fun"

“Mmmh I need one last thing. But it’s a special trip, you’d have to wait in the car for this one.” Yukie replied with a smirk as he lead the way for them to checkout. “I’ll reward your patience with a nice dinner.” Yukie offered trying to sweeten the deal on his final errand.

“I don’t know. I don’t stick to this form. It’s uncomfortable.” Haru replied as he huffed and changed back to his humanized form the poor centaur feeling and looking rather awkward about changing forms. “Come on let’s get going before they come in and get us.” Haru mumbled as he grabbed his bag and lead the way out completely dropping and ignoring the whole concept of keeping his centaur form around since he didn’t like that side of himself much.

”mmh so, how long until we go in and get them?” Haruhi asked as he waited as patiently as he could the man knowing he couldn’t fit easily in Yus home.

"Where are ve going?" Julius asked curiously and chuckled as Yukie tried to bribe him.

"Babe, you just took me out to a nice dinner last night and I had to carry you to a hotel. I think this time I'll get to choose" he smiled as they got their things ran up and payed for. Then Julius helped Yukie carry the bags back to the car and put then in the back of the cool trunk.

"Wait for me!" Shan said and ran after Haru as he suddenly took off. The shadow didn't get why Haru didn't like being in his other form. Shan had two forms too and to him it was like second natur to him.

"Thanks for the fun time miss gandma" Shan said to Yue politely. "You wouldn't be having anymore problems with the block chimney I cleared it."

Yue reached down and lightly pinched Shan's cheek. The shadow was still far to innocent to notice that they'd been tricked into helping out with the dirty cleaning.

"Thank you Shan. Haru you too, come here and give grandma a hug. You two boys were so helpful." She held her arms for Haru invitingly.

"You think she would teach us how she did it if we'd asked" Yumro whispered to his mate quietly.

“Alright you can choose where we eat. But you have to fully stay in the car while I go inside the store.” Yukie asked with a smirk as he kissed Julius’s cheek and opened the door for his mate to get into the car. “Trust me it’s a nice surprise, so don’t worry about it.” Yukie assured Julius as he helped him in and went around to his side and got into the car before starting it up and driving down a highway.

“Doubt it, maybe ancient mind control magic.” Haruhi whispered back as he took Haru’s bag to carry and watched as Haru walked back and gave a small hug before going back to Haruhi’s side hugging him a little tighter.

“Where going home now right?” Haru asked feeling a touch homesick as he hid away from everyone having been out of his comfort zone for far too long. Between helping and socializing with yu and Shan he was rather socially worn out.

"Umn but babe.. " Julius got into the car, but Yukie's demands was only making him even more curious. He had never been good with suprises. Not that he ever got angry or sad. But the excitment was almost unbearable.

"Can't you tell me? I'll promise its still gonna be a suprise after I know what it is.. " Julius said as he gave Yukie his best expression of puppy-dog eyes. "You always do things with such secrecy. And I'm not the most patient person I know. Not when you say it like that"

Yumro was kinda glad yue hadn't yet won Haru completly over. She did look like a loveable lady. But she was still a new person to him and to most of the rest of the family. Yumro gently took the bags from Haruhi and kissed the centaur's cheek before he could protest.

Yumro gently released his arm from Haruhi's waist and kneeled down to ne at eye level with Haru. "Did you have fun?" He asked as he reached out to ruffle Haru's damp hair a bit.

Shan walked up to them but he stayed a bit back. Awkward with the situation. He liked Haruhi and Haru. Yumro.. well he respected his master.. but couldn't see himself ever having a deeper relationship with him. He like how gentle he was around his family thought. It was the complet opposite of the person he was at work. Shan's feelings towards Yumro was neutral.

"Did you have fun?" Shan asked the two grown men. He wasn't blind and couldn't see the change in the two.

"Yeah it was really fun" Yumro replied and glanced over at his mate lovingly for a second. "We need to talk with both of you when we get back to Yukie's house. But first" Yumro grined wickedly as suddenly pulled Haru up and lifted him up to sit in his arm. "You mom and I just found you a bigger library for all your books and we can even put in a desk to make it your own private study."

“Alright. Alright just because it will make you upset I’ll tell you. I planned on getting rings…and well proposing. I had them custom made a few weeks ago.” Yukie explained as he parked at a very fancy and high end store the guards staring at them as he looked at Julius. “Still a surprise?” Yukie asked teasingly as he looked at his mate with a small smile.

“somewhat. I got to dig through all of Yukies secrets he keeps in the attic” Haru replied as he looked at Yumro amused by the hair ruffle.

”oh really do we get to know the secrets?” Haruhi asked with a raised brow as he looked at Yumro curious to what was hidden in the old house.

”no. Yue said I would be cursed if I did. She’s an old witch.” Haru mumbled as he looked over at the lady who smiled and waved at the little family. Jumping a little as he was picked up Haru huffed annoyed as he found himself being held by Yumro in his arms. “I don’t need a bigger library or a study. I like my book clutter just how I have it.” Haru added as he looked at Haruhi for help on asking Yumro to put him down only getting ignored by the older centaur.

Julius eyes widened and he started at Yukie in true suprised. They had talked about this before. Getting marriged someday, but to hear Yukie say it just like that.. well it was not what he had expected.

Went Yukie teased him just changed his expression and turned to look straight out of the front window. He knew he wouldn't be able to keep a straight face if he was looking at Yukie while he spoke.

"It dependes on who is gonna propose to who.. But it's still a joyous suprise indeed" Julius bite back a smile as glanced at Yukie. "Now I'll wait this time, because you were honest with me" he let his smile slip onto his lips and leaned over to place a kiss on Yukie lips.

Yumro chuckled as the little centaur huffed annoyed in his arms. It always teasing the kid. Yumro open the portal for them and let Haru down once they were through.

"Okay now. Haru I believe Haruhi and I has some explaining to do. Shan you too. Could you both come here and sit at the table?" He asked the kids as he he put down the bags.

“mmh I’ll make sure to still surprise you. I didn’t tell you how or when I was going to propose” Yukie teased as he blushed at the kiss and got out of the car. “Stay put.” Yukie added as he left to quickly go into the store and pick up his order. Twenty minutes later Yukie came out with a sleek black bag and got into the car as he set the bag on Julius’s lap. “No peeking” Yukie teased as he pulled out of the parking lot and started driving off to the last stop.

“Are you both in trouble or something?” Haru asked as he eyed them both and cautiously sat at the table. Haru frowned as he looked around at the shadows chattering loudly as they watched from the corners of the house before slamming his hands down and yelling at the shadows to shut up. “You’re all too noisy and I can’t hear any of you when you all speak at once.” Haru mumbled as he huffed and sat back down glad to have silence again so Yumro could speak.

"Come on really" Julius laughed as Yukie had placed the very noticeable black bag straight onto his lap. "Now you are just rubbing my nose in it, I can't belive you" he kept chuckling. It felt weird sitting with the bag knowing what it mostly could be. He was curious to see the bags contains but he could hold his fingers to himself. Even if Yukie was making it hard.

Julius looked out at the front window "Where are we going now mate of mine?" He asked as he set the bag a little aside. Just do he wouldn't keep thinking about peeking inside it.

"You are always such a busy bi, even on your days off"

"What on earth would make you think that?" Yumro asked but soon got distracted when Haru burst out yelling for the room to be quiet. Yumro glanced back at the shadow stuck to the celling. He didn't remember leaving this many out. The shadow all shut up at Haru's comand but they trembled in fear as Yumro glanced at them. Most began to fade into the background to escape.

One thing he had realized from Haruhi's detail explanation.  Was that Haru was very lickly to have highly sensitive senses. Which could explained why then Haru had heard the shadow talk amongst themself, he'd heard it way better. Yumro was use to the shadows by now he wasn't as sensitive. To him their voices were just a low buzz in the back of his mind.

Yumro turned back and placed his arm on Haruhi's shoulder. "Haruhi and I has decided for us four to live together in a brand new house."
