“Oh all the taxing things, like extra snuggles and being carried around the house to start.” Yukie replied with a laugh as he smiled and kissed Julius’s head. “Course if I was in that form…you’d have to take me to work to keep me sane. I’d sleep in a drawer in your desk only coming out to cause chaos between class breaks.” Yukie added imagining all the chaos he could make at the school. Sighing softly Yukie gently ran his fingers through Julius’s hair. “Doing that would mean living a little more feral. Really getting in touch with who I am as a demon. It would be different then what we have now.” Yukie whispered the thought of doing such a strange thing both exciting and scary.

Haruhi groaned as his phone went off the centaur finally waking from his ten hour sleep to the annoying ring of his phone. “Fuck…” Haruhi grumbled as he answered the phone to a slightly panicked voice. “Hold on hold on…I just woke up. Talk a little slower.” Haruhi mumbled with a sigh as he listened to the caller and slowly sat up. “Look, he’s away for the weekend and off for the next two weeks. I’m the emergency call for anything regarding the house and things elders can’t deal with.” Haruhi explained as he sat up now and shifted back into his human form the centaur moving off the bed to find clothes. “Mmh well, I can come check on it. It will take me time…for now at least turn off the water, get to safety and clear out everyone and all the furniture.” Haruhi replied to the voice as he slipped on some pants and found a shirt before grabbing some shoes and went to hunt down his small brown back with his book of info. “You need to fill out all the forms and have an ID ready when I get there, alongside that take pictures to email Yukie of any damage and he will replace things, I’ll find temporary lodging for everyone once I have a written headcount and sign off on things when I’m there…for now just shelter at the elders house.” Haruhi finished as he finished a few more answers before hanging up.

“oh snoring is a horrible offense I might have to kick and squish you a little.” Haru teased Shan with a smile the centaur yawning before laying his head down looking at Shan haru didn’t even last a minute before he was out the centaur being able to slip into sleep with ease.

"Ah~ I've hear bunnies can die of loneliness, so it would be for the  best to keep you close. Maybe spent all day snuggling and kissing you." Julius chuckled along with Yukie.

He hummed as Yukie's fingers went up through his short hair. It gave him chills but in a good way.

"Because you've never turned fully animal before?" Julius asked as he enjoyed what Yukie hands and lips was doing to him. "I'm guessing we aren't just taking about the rabbit anymore." The witch looked at Yukie with a knowing look. "Babe tell me what you want and we'll make it happen."

Yumro had at some point dozzed off but was awaken by Haruhi's phone. He reached out for it. Meaning to take the call outside to let Haruhi sleep. But the other was awakened too and reached the phone quicker than Yumro.

"Haruhi I can take the call if you want" he offered but either Haruhi hadn't heard it or he ignored him. Yumro couldn't do anything when Haruhi not too soon after began jumping around, looking of some clothes.

"Did something flood?" Yumro asked as he held some pants out to Haruhi. It would be pointless to try and tell him to stay home and to let him take care of him anyway.

Shan lay down and curled up into position next to Haru. Snuggling into the warm soft blanket. "Sweet dreams Haru" he said before closing his eyes and fell asleep almost instantly.

“Yeah, growing up I was afraid of myself and what I was. I stuck to being more human looking than anything else. Taking this leap in changing myself would alter my very being and how I see myself.” Yukie admitted as he basked in his mates scent and warmth. Continuing to run his fingers through Julius’s hair Yukie hummed softly as he thought about what he needed. “I’m not sure, maybe just a trip learning about the demons I helped create? While I’ve been in charge of everyone I’ve been so busy running things that I’ve never taken time to meet them all and really learn about them. Each demon is a piece of me…” Yukie explained his voice unsure as he spoke but well, it hinted at some truth to what he wanted. “Maybe if I learn about what I created…it would help me see the good in myself and not the creature my father created.” Yukie whispered as he held Julius all the closer the idea somewhat exciting to the demon but also terrifying.

“yeah, one of the main buildings pipes froze and burst. We moved the kids to another place but the workers can’t do anything until it’s been approved and inspected.” Haruhi admitted with a small sigh. “The only reason I’m worried is because it’s cold in this village and the kids are all infants and under ten. We had this problem years ago and the building had issues so it was rebuilt the fact that they still have freezing issues concerns me” Haruhi explained as he took the pants and got dressed. “Mind taking me there? It’s the…um.” Haruhi started before trailing off to check his phone. “It’s the harpie and rabbit village, they live with the rabbit folk…up in the mountains. I don’t want to really drive or take a bus while sick. Also, don’t wanna walk in the snow for the last bit of travel. You don’t have to stay the whole time I just need an easy way there until I’m better.” Haruhi added with a small blush at the request but the centaur clearly annoyed by the problem was nothing but concerned. Going through his clothes he pulled out a warm jacket and some gloves to wear also.

Haru slept deeply his body tiered and exhausted from the stressful days they had had. Eventually he turned and moved around a little only to wake up thirsty for some water. Getting up he made his way to the kitchen and grabbed himself a glass.

"I think it’s a wonderful plan" Julius smiled. "I think you don’t give youself enough credit for what you've done. I mean I already know you aren't as bad as you say. I can see that just by the people around you. Sure you had a rough beginning and can feel haunted by the past.. but there is so much good in you love.." Julius took his time to softly kiss Yukie face. "I'd wish you could see yourself like I do. You are so very hard on yourself"

"Of course I'm going with you." Yumro said and went to get his and Haruhi's thick winter coats. While doing so he mind called Shan through their connection and woke the shadow boy up.

《Haruhi and I need to go handle an emergency in one of the villages. I expect us to be back before morning but in the mean time you and Haru are on your own. Don't burn the house down and behave》

Shan agreed as he tried to look for Haru who wasn't in bed.

Yumro came back with Haruhi's coat and opened a portal right in their bedroom leading to the rabbit village.

Once through Yumro send his shadows in to block the flow of water so it wouldn't leak futher into the ground floor while everyone was evacuate.

Yumro could clearly set the rabbit demon apart from the other kinds. Rabbit were smaller and more pettit compared to others. And before he could let Haruhi go to them he held onto the centaur's sleev stopping him for a moment "Just promise to not push yours and call me if you need help. I'll help get the children out you just focus on telling everyone to relocating them all to the townhall. There should be everything ready for such cases" he said and gave his mate a warm smile as his body began to faint and disapired into the shadows only to reappear back inside tye house. He scared a couple of smaller demons by appearing out of no where but didn’t question him once they recognised his face.

“I want to see myself better too, that’s why I think discovering more about who and what I am will help.” Yukie explained as he blushed from the soft kisses to his face that was graced to him. “Would you be fine with me traveling? You could join me if you want? In between your school work” Yukie offered knowing full well Julius’s school was just as important. “You could visit me on off weeks or on weekends? Or! I could visit you, I’d have to bring you a fun surprise each time I visit” Yukie added with a small smile at the thought of really going through with his plan of travel. “Though….sleeping away from you is the only problem. I would be lonely.” Yukie stopped before looking down at Julius not wanting to even think about leaving this happiness behind.

“I’ll behave. Don’t worry this is an easy fix, I’ve done this before.” Haruhi reminded Yumro before reaching up and kissed Yumros cheek to show he promised to be careful. Waving a little goodbye he sighed letting the impulsive thought finally out. “ooh…that’s…creepy… didn’t know he could do that.” Haruhi mumbled with a small laugh before shaking his body to refocus. Following one of the men he headed down to the basement to shut off the water to the building. Once done he came upstairs the poor man soaked as he had waded through the floodwater and the inevitably fallen into the icy pools .

”That was much worse then on the phone!” Haruhi grumbled with a huff as he shivered while pulling off his shirt and tossed it to the side alongside his pants and coat and regrettably underwear. 

“We said the basement and upper floor flooded.” One of the rabbits replied with a confused look as he quickly looked away from Haruhi’s naked form. Haruhi rolled his eyes remembering just why he didn’t deal with the rabbits often and why they had moved the Harpies with them. Yukie and Haruhi’s last large scale visit had been much like this before they combined the villages. Since then they had been better the Harpies being more in charge to keep the rabbits from disasters like this. Letting out a small laugh in annoyance Haruhi just shook his head. 

“There’s flooding, and then there’s a sinking building…why didn’t you turn off the water or ask the Harpies for help?Wait…just…don’t even answer that just get me the paperwork I need to sign.” Haruhi added defeated while wringing out his hair as best as he could. Cursing a little he could feel the cold to his bones and shifted into his centaur form only to huff and shake off his soaked coat. Taking a towel from one of the rabbit workers Haruhi wrapped up his hair and grabbed the papers and his bag from the pile of wet clothes. “Alright, first you three check the building for anyone else inside! You three lock the doors after it’s been searched through. Meet me back here when done.” Haruhi ordered as the rabbits nodded and ran off.

”God your a sight for sore eyes.” A deep voice called out as he walked in carrying a bag of tools and a small team of Harpies.

”Your slipping old man whole village is falling apart. Might have to fight for you to retire.” Haruhi replied back to the Elder Harpie who huffed in response to the centaurs cheek.

”ooh you’ve got some fire in ya. Must be a hell of a mess.” The Elder teased as he sent the four he brought to help the rabbits.

”mmh you’ll need to pump out the basement and replace flooring walls, you know same as last time.” Haruhi explained not even noticing the Elder tossing on his jacket on Haruhi. Stopping suddenly as he felt the weight he pulled the jacket around his body more as he handed over the paperwork to the Elder. “I signed off on the repairs I just need to check in on the kids and do a head count and the usual.” Haruhi finished soaking in the warmth from the added clothing.

”Alright, path should be clear despite the snow. I’ll have my second in command take you there so you’re out of the cold. You look like hell…and knowing you you’ll catch your death from this.” The Elder teased slightly his voice serious as he studied Haruhi for a moment.

Taking a glass of water back for Shan Haru yawned a little only to set it carefully on the table as he tried to let his eyes adjust to find Shan so he could safely lay down.

"Baby didn't I already tell you that you wouldn't miss me" Julius chuckled as he basked in the moment of just being with hos most beloved person. "And even if I can't get the double spell to work I'll still come to you. I.." Julius blushed as he was remembered another way for him to find Yukie and go to him even if he was at the other side of the earth. "..what I wanted to say is that I'll come to you every night.. I could make a pendant with your (cough) essens.. its potent enough to bring me right to you no matter were you are"

Yumro was just coming back when he walked in and saw his naked mate talking with some old dude.

Yumro couldn't supress the loud growle that escaped his throat and neither didn't he want to. He didn't like anyone looking at his mate that closely. The demon wolf moved between the two to block the other view of his mate as he pulled off his jacket and put it around Haruhi's naked form.

His fangs were out and his golden eyes were dark as his eyes shot daggers at the person behind them. "Didn't I say not to over do it." Yumro asked with a tense jaw. He picked Haruhi up hand place him up on a dry table before he kneeled down to rub warmth into each of Haruhi's feels with his own hands. Then he slipped on the socks he had been wearing onto Haruhi feets and the shoes too. Yumro did feel the cold as he stood barefoot on the wet cold floor. But it didn't bother him since werewolfs body heat always ran hot.

Shan could see in the dark almost as good at in the day. Therefor he saw the other coming into the bedroom. He wondered why Haru didn't turn some light on. But then again, maybe Haru hadn't done that in case it would wake him.

When Haru tried to find his way aroused Shan reached out and gently took the other's hand. "Im here Haru. There is room you don’t haft to worry about squeezing he." He comented as he guided Haruhi over.

“Oh really~” Yukie asked with a small chuckle as he looked down at Julius a smirk spreading on his lips as he saw an amusing chance to play with Julius a little. “Would you like to watch me give you my essence to make sure you get a good sample? I mean I’ll make sure to give you a good show and I’ll make it worth your time sitting through such a thing~” Yukies voice sang out as he was slightly teasing Julius a little at the need for his essence Yukie being unable to resist. “In all seriousness though…I would love to see you every night~” Yukie whispered as he snuggled Julius closer glad to see his mate was wanting to see him also. “Course, I’ll have to treat you to a nice date and a night out when you do visit.” Yukie added with a happy smile while he kissed Julius’s head and then face.

“Easy darling. I didn’t overdo it all I had to do was turn off the water to keep this from getting worse…I just slipped turning off the water in the basement. It was much deeper than I thought. Everything in the building is damp and ruined so I couldn’t put anything else on” Haruhi explained as he gently touched Yumros hand his own icy and freezing the centaur not even noticing. “If I didn’t strip I would be frozen so much quicker in this weather, hell even my other form was colder than this human one.” Haruhi explained as he shivered the man grateful for the warm foot rub along with the socks and shoes. “Y-Yumro….you’ll get sick walking around like that.” Haruhi mumbled looking at his mates feet as he just sat shivering on the table.

”might I suggest you make your way to my house and warm up? I should have your mates size in clothes in the dresser and overnight bag in the spare room. We’ve got all we need from him here for now so you’re free until we’ve finished our damages check and need a final inspection, and a full headcount. Everyone should be in the town hall for that part.” The harpie elder offered as he smiled kindly at Yumro. “Haruhi can show you the way.” The elder added as he knew Haruhi wouldn’t get lost in the snow since he had come here often to learn basics for his job with Yukie.

“thank you, I wasn’t sure if you where still asleep.” Haru admitted with a blush as he carefully laid back down and held Shans hand. “Shan…did you…ever have a life before you were what you are?” Haru asked hesitantly not wanting to upset Shan but well he was curious about his friends past and how he came to be.

Julius's ears glowed pink as the witch groaned in embarrassment. He tried to hid by pressing his face into Yukie's chest know Yukie was having fun right now. "..Yukie.." he complained as the other chuckled at him.

Although he would want to see Yukie pleasuring himself. It was hard to saying it when Yukie was making him sound like a pervert. "Babe" Julius said into Yukie's neck because this seemed easier. "Watching you wouldn't be my first time.. is just a little driffrent"

Aww♡ Julius insides melted and all the teasing from before was easily forgive. And with each kiss it was washed away and forgotten. "Of course I don't wanna be away from my futur husband. You aren't the only one who misses his partner when we are apart. I need your face and warmth to recharge" Julius smiled as he gently played with his fingers over Yukie's lips.

Yumro was still not to pleased. He most likely wouldn't ever be because he knew who weak Haruhi's health was right now. "I know~sigh~ But you know why I am as I am." 

Yumro shrugged. "I don't feel the cold as much, and I don't get sick easily"

Yumro sweeped Haruhi up bridalstyle abd carried Haruhi out the door. "Where to?" He asked Haruhi to tell him the way without setting him down.

He only let Haruhi out of his grib when they were back inside.

Shan didn't know if he should tell Haru that Yumro woke him. He didn't want the other to get nervous so he just said. "I needed to use the bathroom so.." he lied as he helped the other back in bed and under the blanket.

He smiled as Haru didn't let go of his hand and lay down. The shadow grew all warm and comfortable inside as he squeezed Haru's hand gently.

“I’m glad you need me.” Yukie whispered holding Julius all the closer to hide his blushing cheeks. He gently kissing Julius’s fingertips before kissing his lovers head gently as he snuggled down. “I’ll have to check some wedding books as I travel. Make sure to keep up with all our planning. Course there is the question of I should take the house with me or leave it with you. Haru and Haruhi have moved out. I think they took the small shadow also…Haru seemed fond of it.” Yukie explained as he thought for a brief moment about all he needed to do to prep for such a journey.

“I know, I’m not angry. Just don’t want to see you fight.” Haruhi mumbled as he clung tightly to Yumro soaking up his mates warmth. As he was scooped up Haruhi curled into Yumro as the icy wind made him gasp the centaur momentarily forgetting how cold the nights got in this village. Telling Yumro the way Haruhi just hid away from the icy wind only relaxing once they were inside the warm elders home.  “T-thank you for carrying me.” Haruhi whispered his body shivering as he lead the way to the small bathroom and started to fill the tub with hot water. “Yumro?” Haruhi asked as he looked out for his mate not wanting to be alone in the house.

“I don’t know much about you. I feel I should…I mean how did you come to exist? Why does your world exist? Great Grandfather, the others, and my father refuse to tell me anything about the world they are existing in” Haru explained as he looked up at the fort ceiling. “I’m just curious…” Haru admitted it’s a small blush feeling embarrassed for not knowing the basics of his friend.

"Mn~" Julius basked in the sweet moment. He could live like this forever. "I think you should take the house.. you need somewhere to untangled and relax at the end of the day." Julius said. He still couldn't help his fingers from playing with the feeling of Yukie's skin and hair.

"His name is Shan.. he is quite cute actually and he is gonna be one of my students too" Julius smiled. "Yumro has already signed him up along with Haru. Right now I got over 60 applicants plus another 20 halfblood witches. And 5 teachers.. it a full house and I'll have my share of work to do, but I can just go to you each day after work so..you take it"

"I don't mind telling you but there might be somethings even I can't answer. Well first off shadows aren't like demons, we are dark creatures born out of the abyss. Shadows dosen't have souls but we do have a consciouse. And very rarely in some cases there is even a desire of free will. In our ralm everything is very simple. The stronger consumers the engery of the weak and grows even stronger. Smaller shadows like me then had to literally hid alway and could only rarely leave to consume enough energy off humans to stay alive. I don't know when. But the system changed when a demon entered our ralm and began taking over. Yumro was stronger and the higher ranked shadows could either fall in line or be killed." Shan eyes brightened when he spoke of the take over. It was a huge game changer for him. He had never been anything but less until he began sticky to Yumro. Back then he could only do so much and was more simply like his dog. It was only whe he was called to be Haruhi's playmate he began growing thanks to all the dark energy around.

"I stuck to Yumro because it was the most natural thing to do in the situation. But I'm really glad I did. What I am now is much more closer to a demon and I got the chance to meet you" the shadow boy grined happily.

“Oh really, well that’s good I hope he enjoys school with Haru. I’ll make sure he has some footing once your settled for students. Seems you’ll have your hands full regardless of my interference.” Yukie admitted with a small chuckle the demon relaxing in Julius’s arms almost melting like putty. “I don’t want to take our home. If feels empty enough without you in it. I’ll have to fill it with things that remind me of you.” Yukie whispered his voice a touch sad but still filled with excitement about his journey. “I’ll make sure to give you my own gift where you can always see me….that way you know I’m alright” Yukie added thinking back to the mirror he kept covered in his bedroom.

“I forgot the rabbits…are kinda simple they forget easily such big things…I know there’s a reason for it and Yukies working on helping them long term. They just tend to not realize things, like they intentionally are suppose to it’s why we paired them with the harpies…the rabbits kept dwindling in numbers despite our precautions and interference.” Haruhi explained as he carefully crawled into the tub a small groan of pain escaping his lips as his body felt needles all over from the hot water. “Haru…he suggested getting each one a crow, he was firm that it would solve the problem and well we got the next best thing and two days later we had them all paired up. The rabbits and harpies really are flourishing as a combined village it makes me wish others would get along so well. Granted I really wish they could have told me about the ice bath in the basement and the crumbling steps.” Haruhi grumbled with a sigh as the heat slowly seeped into his body the small scrapes and bumps from falling by also enjoying the warmth. “Want to join me? Or do you wanna sit?” Haruhi asked keeping only his head above the water in the deep tub.

“How did you become a demon though? I thought…they couldn’t be changed into one….did Yumro really change things so much?.” Haru asked a touch confused as he had been told very conflicted information by the shadows he had around. Haru frowned as he looked at Shan only to flinch a little his hand trembling as he held it a little tighter his missing arm aching as the temperature in the room dropped. “They really don’t like me asking….any of this. I think…they also don’t like you, Yumro likes you but not them.” Haru explained as spoke the small cut that he flinched from on his cheek letting out a small trail of blood. “Why did Yumro make you more demon and not others?” Haru whispered not caring if the possessive shadows got angry with him he wanted to know the truth.

Julius felt pretty happy inside when Yukie told him that he would miss him too much even if he came back home to him every night. "Hush you sweet talker" he blushed as he chuckled. Then an idear hit him. "What about if we have our portrait taking at the wedding and have it hung up in the house? Maybe having that to look at wouldn't make it feel as emty to get home to. I know I would love a picture of us in my office" Julius said, speaking out honestly from the heart as he looked at his gorgeous mate.

"Ah but would it be okay if I wanted to call even if it's just to hear your voice? Cause you don’t haft to pick it up if you can't.. I just like feeling you near me too"

Yumro smiled. "Crows are more something our family is known by. But I agreed the harpies were a good bet and looks to pay off well for both kinds aswell. 

Rabbits are very friendly but are irrational. and harpies are too closed up from the world around themself but they like this to run smoothly. From what I've seen the harpies keeps the rabbits from making foulish mistakes and the rabbite are easy socializing with the harpies"

"I am not a demon but close enough. I got a solid form now after Yukie send me back to train. What I meant is that none of the other shadows got one. I don't know why that is though" he answered honest. "Maybe it's because I've been feeding of from the energy around all of you guys. Its much driffrent compared to that of a human."

"And... well those guys dosen't like me because I'm close with you.. and.. I can still feel they still want to devour me.. I'm stronger but I don't have any means of protection other than what Yumro and you provide me with. All I can do is levitate things and turn into smoke for a quick escape... I'm pathetic in those terms" Shan tried to laugh it of but it clearly bothered him.

“I would be pretty upset if you didn’t want to call me from time to time.” Yukie replied as he snuggled Julius and kissed his cheek adoring his loving mate. “I hope you don’t mind me calling either I would miss your voice to much if I didn’t call.” Yukie admitted with a small blush his mind happy but thinking deeply“You’ll have to wait on a wedding picture though… if we plan it and want a spring wedding, since it’s almost winter, but nothing says we can go do a photo shoot tomorrow and get some engagement photos done for the house and your office.” Yukie offered the demon excited to have pictures of Julius. “We could do many fun photos.” Yukie added trying to sweeten the idea.

“oh really? You might have to elaborate on the information you’re getting. Because, all I can think about is how much of a shame it is your aren’t joining me since your body’s always so warm~. It would feel nice being just as warm deep inside as I am outside.” Haruhi teased with a devilish smirk while he washed his body seductively the centaur starting to warm up more under the hot water leaving his skin slightly flushed. Sinking his hair into the water next Haruhi washed the long curly locks before rinsing and getting out the centaur dripping wet with his hair covering him just enough to be rather tasty eye candy while he grabbed a towel. Haruhi slowly dried his hair making sure Yumro could see all the angels of his drying task in the mirror.
