Mother shook her head. " He's not going to die. It's just a discussion... a heated one admittedly but a discussion none the less." Her fingers had taken hold of a nearby flower, small and nearly wilted from the near barren land around them. " I wish daffodils grew here.... I used to put them in Kazi's hair when he was very young...." She snickered a little remembering her son's face as he pouted at her. " He'd always get a little fussy but he'd wear them anyway, but daffodils always looked the best in his hair..."

"Really I bet that was pretty." he said sighing. "Yeah its too hot for them to grown in this place." he said looking at him and sighing not sure what to do. "I miss him this is the only time he has been away from him."

" Bide your time until his return. Just like the daffodil, Kazimir will always show himself again in hopes of a bright and warm spring in the future surround by his other flowers." She mumbled.

The twins had long since began to gather what little flowers around the area for their mother already fully aware of what she was putting together.

" So while that has been said and done, why not regale me on the goings on when you all went under ground then?" She asked to help Zeke get his mind off the lack of Kazimir's presence

"Nothing much I made a safe zone down there and we trained your twins Kazi got lost and then I found him, and we all got closer." he said shrugging and looking at him

Mother snickered and started picking off the petals "oh you got 'closer did You? Just how close did you get then?" She asked with a sly grin

"Almost lover we would of been but we had to watch out for the boys there were everywhere we turned watching us." he said sighing and looked at her

"Of course we did!! I can't let you deflower Big Brother!!" Ranui growled out. Better terms or not, it was still his big Brother!

Panini had to snicker, smiling with his mother. "Maybe we can find a private little spot outside the village after thus whole debocal is over

He smiled and looked at him. "Trust me I won't for a while but the thing Kazi can do with his body." he said smiling he didn't mean anything by it only to get the boys hyped up. "Tho when this is all over I do want some time alone with Kazi."

" Don't!! Don't talk about Big Brother like that!! It's dirty and lewd!" Ranui sqwaked Panui gave another laugh and his mother chuckled.

"It shouldn't be to hard to do once this is all said and done. Mayhaps you both could eve--" She cut herself off as she spotted her son and husband coming back at last. "Oh... it seems they finshed!" And she scurried over to them both.

While their Father seemed pale and anxious, Kazi stood tall. He walked past his parents with a small wave and straight to Zeke's side. " Did you behave for Mother while I was away?" He asked with a smile.

"It was ok did you kill anyone in there?" he asked looking at him. "You know better than to go off without me." he said looking at Kazi. "You could of killed everyone in this town." he whispered and pulled him close. "And I know where you can tame a dragon from and that would be your mom." he said

" Don't be ridiculous, of course I didn't." Kazi said with a little pout. " Have a little more faith in me then that. Only you have the irratating ability to annoy me that much" He said playfully.

"Long story short they want my head for the 'murder' of their chief's sister all those years ago. They seem to think I cheated. I accepted and I'll be fighting at dawn tomorrow..." He said nonchalantly

"Really do they know that will my power inside you. You are even stronger there magic won't even hurt you." he said looking at him. "Tho just saying if you get hurt I will kill everyone sorry Kazi its what dragon's do." he said pulling him close and kissing him even more.

Kazi gave another sigh and flicked Zeke's nose. " that won't be nessacary. I'll be fine on my own."

But nuzzled against his dragon regradless, " Let's just go and rest for now. I think we've all had enough for today and good do with a good long nap and some relaxtion till tomorrow." Kazi suggested and his younger brothers quickly agreed and darted off to find a tent to lay down in

"No Kazi do you relize that you powers and mine are combined in you right this moment ifi you use a fire ball or any spell it will have my power with it you can't stop it." he whispered. "Take out the tree close to us and it will shatter into splinters." he said shaking his head

"Good, then I'll have proved my merit as a mage and claim her head as my own and their village will have no reason to come around anymore." The little mage answered grumpily. The meeting and long excurtions had him agitated enough as it was. He wanted nothing more then to find some place to sleep.

"I don't like it anymore then you do, but this was set in stone long before dragons even knew of mage culture. It is how things are solved. The strong live and take their prize from the weaker.... as cruel as it sounds."

he sighed and picked Kazi up. "I hate this I don't want to see you fight so know if you loose everyone in this town dies and I can't control it when a dragon's mates die the mate will go into a bloodlust and kill everything and one in there path."

Another sigh but a tired smile crossed his face. " I'm not going to die. Everything will be fine. " He tried to soothe Zeke the best he could. " Just let me do what I have to. The faster I get it done, the faster I can just hole up in a dark corner with my books and you keeping me from seeing the light of day. Does that sound better?"

"Just the part that you are with me I think you need to live out in the light." he said smiling as he kissed Kazi. "Tho I want you all to myself."

Kazi merely patted his head and kisses his cheek. "Yes yes. Now let's go settle in for tonight yes? " Kazi suggested as he pointed for a small tent on the outskirts of the little camp. " Have things I need to prepare for tomorrow anyway"

"Alright lets go to that tent and soon we can sleep in my bed again." he said smiling and kissed him as he carried him into there tent away from the rest of the tents.

A quiet little sigh as he was kissed, and Kazi was flopping on the mat in the tent ready to sleep and just finally enjoy being alone with his husband after months of the twins constantly nearby and practically watching their every move.

" It'd be nice to not have to be under constant watch for awhile.... isn't supposed to be my job to watch my younger brothers and their partners?" He asked with a deadpanned scowl

"Then why did they come?" he asked sighing as he started to cuddle Kazi. "I don't understand why they made it your job do they not know when they get someone they will want to be with them or should we be there for at least the first few months as pay back?"

" Well just as it's my job as a big brother to look out for them, it's their job as little brothers to drive me and in this case, my husband, absolutley insane." Kazi snickered as he began to pet and scratch Zeke's hair " ANd of course we'll be sitting in on every session they have with their own lovers at some point. "

"Then that makes me a happy dragon lets sleep up here for tonight and tomorrow we can get everything over with." he said smiling as he kissed his lover Kazi's cheek he loved him so much and couldn't wait to have kids.
