Buying Love

"Well I'm sure he's got plenty of rabbits here," Darius said with a shrug but looked at Yukie and reached out and grabbed him so he wouldn't hit the ground hard and hurt himself of the child that was mentioned before.

 

"What's wrong?" he asked the man, "do I need to help with anything?" He was angry, heartbroken, and utterly destroyed but he didn't want Yukie to be hurt. He might shoot everyone else and leave Yukie here alone but not hurt him. But that was the pain probably talking.

"Like I said I got pretty sick from the whole incident" Yukie replied with a dry laugh Beu suddenly being handed to Yukie.

 

"...want me to call a doctor?" Yoh asked softly not sure if Yukie needed one as he stood awkwardly watching the two lovebirds.

 

"No, we will be fine...Darius can care for Beu if I need to sleep" Yukie replied gently snuggling the child who looked up at Darius.

 

"Dada" Beu squeaked cutely reaching for Darius making Yukie smirk. With a simple movement Beu was suddenly in Darius's arms Yukie watching happily.

 

"I made sure he knew your face." Yukie added having drawn some nice sketches of his lover.

 

"I'll see you after I'm done with work. Relax and take it easy" Yoh whispered before kissing Yukie's head and taking his men with him leaving two behind to watch the lovebirds.

Darius looked stunned when Beu called him Dada. He had not expected that, or to be suddenly holding the child. "How? You didn't have any pictures of me," he said softly as he looked over his son's face, letting the boy touch his to see that he was real. Once Yoh was gone he looked at Yukie and frowned. This wasn't the meeting he wanted. "Is his underling just going to get the paper work?" he asked. "Do you need me to carry you to your room? OR will they," he said nudging his head towards the other men.

"I can walk...I'm not that weak" Yukie grumbled as he slowly got up and took a moment to breathe. "Your paperwork is with me. Yoh already sighed and approved it" Yukie replied with a smirk. "You created it but it was up to me to hire and take a mistress~" Yukie weakly teased before leading the way to his wing of the house.

"What do you mean by Yoh created it but up to you to hire and take a mistress?" he asked as he followed. Wasn't he only suppose to be Yukie's bodyguard and with Beu? Was he supposed to guard someone else as well? He hated when people tried to blindside him with things since that also meant they were planning on killing him instead of paying him.

"My 'husband' doesn't mind me having you as a lover on the side. As long as you protect me and his children your free to share living spaces with me." Yukie explained opening his bedroom door with a small push the bedroom plain but nice. "I stand beside him as a symbol of power and wealth but we don't sleep together often and we aren't married...it's more of an act for his enemies" Yukie explained the male laying on the bed now Beu watching quietly and snuggling Darius the whole time.

"Then what's the the goons?" he asked looking over his shoulder at the men. He such the door behind then so they could talk in peace. "Trophy wife?" he asked softly as he watched Yukie laid down and rubbed Beu's back. "So you want me to move in with you? I will protect you or course. And children, I've never harm a child," he said softly. "What if I get you pregnant again? Or will you be off limits during that time?"

"Pregnant already and slightly off limits sex wise till my condition improves" Yukie replied shrugging at the mention of the goons since he didn't know to much about the boss's affairs. "It would be easier if you moved into my room I don't mind sharing a bed" Yukie rreplied with a small smirk the male resting his body as he snuggled into the bed.

Darius sat down on the edge of the bed and looked down at Yukie. "This is a lot to take in so I might not act right at first. I'll need to call my brother to get him to stop searching for you. I think he's put more bodies down then I have. He lost his wife in childbirth. They lived in the cabin away from people, she loved it there. But they got snowed in and something went wrong, early labor, she bled out. So he's been very focused on helping me. I think it's been giving him something. He refuses to get help," he sighed.

"You need to thank him properly and bring him to visit..." Yukie mumbled already exhausted and worn out as he laid on the bed."When Beu was born...there was a lot of blood...all I remembered was being cold and scared...it happened a lot never knew it was bad till I came here.....eventually One day it got really really bad... I don't remember anything but pain and blood and when I woke up Beu was in my arms and the bleeding had stopped...He stayed outside of the room watching us the whole time we lived there." Yukie whispered shivers running down his spine as he took Beu back from his lover wanting to hold his baby close. "I never saw anyone while I was trapped no matter what happened or how much pain I was in...Yoh refuses to leave me unmonitored for a second. He worries to much, he also worries about Beu not being healthy" Yukie added his voice showing great levels of tiredness as he gently rubbed the child's back.

"Ah, bring him out of the mountains? I can't get him to do that unless he's on a hunt for something. Last year around christmas I got really down and tried to get him to come to stay with me. I ever the lowest I got. He said there was no way in hell he was coming down since we'd both just end up with bullets in our heads with no one to bury the other. Then he asked me if I got my gift from him, I said yes, and he said open it and take it. It was this large of homemade strawberry wine that had been dug up. I went half through it that night, got up to use the bathroom and passed out. Woke up two days later on christmas morning. Turns out he had gone back to the house we had grown up in with our grandma, and that wine was one she had made years ago, she tended to bury the jars in her garden. That jar might have been at least fifty years old," he chuckled then went silent and let Yukie speak and handed Beu to him.

 

"Has Beu's health been bad?" he asked softly, his mind focusing on their son.

"Hes super healthy." Yukie replied feeling quite sad for Darius and his brother the male snuggling down more. "You can take him if you want. You might want to get dinner or something" Yukie added softly already starting to fall asleep.

"I don't want to eat," Darius said as he reached out and stroked Yukie's hair. "Just I to get use to this. You're here but not really mine," he said softly. "I'll put him to bed for you though. Rest, it'll be good for you and your little one," he said softly as he watched the two rest. When Yukie was asleep he would carefully pick up Beu so he would roll off the bed and hummed softly to him as he started to look around the rooms to be sure where everything was and tucked Beu into bed when he fell asleep then patroled again, checking on the two of them in case either needed him.

Yukie slept peacefully curling up every now and then next to Beu the man lacking anything really for the child since they had only lived with him for the last two years. Beu rolled a little in his sleep making Yukie wake up and tuck him under the thick blankets. "Mmmh your sleeping so well now" Yukie mumbled with a cute yawn happy his son was sleeping better.

When he heard Yukie speak Darius got up from the chair he had settled in near the bed and looked down at them. "Are you both okay?" he whispered wanting to be sure that Yukie was already

" I'm feeling much better but I'm kinda hungry" Yukie admitted watching Beu continue to sleep the child snuggled up to Yukie. "You could have watched tv or relaxed" Yukie added smiling a little.

"Most things on at this hour sucks," he chuckled. "Do you want me to get you something to eat? What would you like to eat?" he asked, strangly willing to help. Was it better to live close to a god and not touch it? Or never be in it's graces again.

"Well I feel like actually eating why don't we go out I dinner? Lucas most likely is away at work so we have our choice of restaurants" Yukie added gently waking Beu up the child looking quite angry that he had been woken as he glared up at his parents.

"He looks like you when you pout," Darius teased. "We can take him with us right?" he asked softly, wanting as much time with his son as he could get. "Yukie, do you only want me here for Beu?" he asked softly. Part of him thinking this was still a wierd dream.

"Beu is free to roam with either parent" Yukie replied gently snuggling the child who still was upset about being woken. "You can take him with you if I ever can't go places. I will try and trust you won't run away with him" Yukie added voicing a deep fear he had developed hence why he would only accept Darius into the position of caring for them and becoming a mistress to him. "The last nanny that they hired to help me wouldn't ever let me see him...Lucas put an end to it quickly after seeing me so distressed. But, it was hard to trust anyone else after what she was like hence why he hunted down the only person I trusted."

"Yukie if I take ourson you'll know it," he said softly as he picked Beu up. "Hey there little guy are you hungry? I'm sure you could nap on the way to the restraint," he offed. "It's good for kids to know their parents, well if the parents are good to them too. If the parent is abusive then there's no point."

"I'm glad he can get to know you" Yukie added his voice soft yet still quite tiered. "Might need help finding his diaper bag I don't keep much stuff here since I don't want to burden anyone" Yukie mumbled sleepily before stretching and getting out of bed.

"It's this your home? Why should you worry about things like that in your home?" he asked as he looked around for a diaper bag. "Do we need to look through it before we leave to be sure it has everything in it?"

"...the guards don't exactly like me so I try not to bother them" Yukie admitted as he sighed and pulled out a small box full of baby supplies from under his bed.

Darius sighed softly and helped Yukie with the box. "If your health is bad and your pregnant you shouldn't do a lot of lifting. Just get me toe do it for you," he said softly. "Yukie....um. Please let me help so you won't get hurt. Damn, I guess I'm still a bit shell-shocked about seeing you again," he sighed softly.
