Kara nodded and bit her lip as she got on the back of Danny and tried to hold on. "Master only you can get this filled with water I will be back soon. Danny I need you to go to the foyer please," she asked

"Yes ma'am," Daniel said as he headed for the door and took the stairs carefully so they wouldn't go tumbling down. "I didn't get to ask yet, I don't think, how are you feeling? Any better?"

 

"It's okay Sampson. We'll all work together to make you feel better," Tristan said still doing what he could to sooth the hurt hound, even carefully pulling what seemed to be a little thorn out of his muzzle. "Hmm. We might need a lot of water to clean up these scratches," he said to himself.

Zander nodded and went to get the water.

 

"I'm doing a little better I still hurt. "Ok now that master can't here I need you to go to his bedroom I hid them in the walls in there."

"You hide doctor things in the master's chambers?" Daniel asked softly and he slowed himself and took a different path then the one he had been on. "So I think David didn't sleep in his room last night. Do you think he stayed with your brother?" he asked trying to talk about something less serious for once.

"I only did it when we changed because I didn't want anyone to get hurt that was not in there right mind any more and no one dared to go into masters room." she said looking at him and then smiling. "i am sure they are with each other they might of stayed over in the room together I don't really know I am not really in there any more."

"My brother is so stuffy I'll be glad if your brother can get him to loosen him up. Maybe if he not stuffy the master would relax more so well. Though I worry that maybe the master will be upset about us and them. You know making him realize how lonely he is. All he has is Sampson. Well I guess Tristan could keep him company for as long as he stays here," he mused as he made his ways to the master's chambers. "Okay, which way now?"

"Yeah I think he just needed someone." she said and smiled. "Over on the far side of the wall by his bed there is a loose panel, If you move it its big enough for one of us to fit into I push it as far back as I could. So I could go in and get it or you." she said smiling as she closed her eyes. "ii don't know if anything can get that stick out of your brothers butt." she said giggling. "And master seems more alive since Sampson was made better, but we have to hurry."

Daniel chuckled about what she said about his brother as he walked over to the bed so she could climb onto it so he could go digging around for the bag. "Do you think Tristan will stay once he's healed up? Honestly I think he's handling it a lot better then others would have. He hasn't screamed at any of us and he didn't flinch away from the master," he said before spotting the bag and grabbed it with his mouth and pulled it out. "This it?" he asked after placing it on the floor.

"I don't know I think he might like it here and he doesn't really have any place else to go and this is a place where he can stay. In his sleep the other other place he had to go was back to an orphanage where a noble wants to adopt him for a sex toy..." she said. "He talks in his sleep sometimes.

Daniel shuddered at the thought of what some nobles did. He knew it happened, had seen some of the effects when people use to visit the castle and he hated it. "Does the master know? It could help things right? If the master knows then maybe he could help. He banished the last one he learned was doing that, well banished from his court." Daniel didn't know what the king and queen did.

"What can he do when he is like this?" she said sighing. "I also have a feeling that he might know he just can't do anything about it the signs are there if you read them from Tristan and I think he even said something to master. In fact if he ever gets normal again I have a feeling we will have our work cut out for us because he might take in all of the orphans of the kingdom just to protect him. Mostly because that is just who he is he hates to see other suffer and that is what makes this so hard on him I bed he sees us day after day trying our best and he can't do anything about it and the worst part is.....I know this curse is all my fault." she said tearing up then shook her head. "we should get back Sampson needs us."

Daniel frowned and walked over to her and touched his nose against her's. "This is not your fault. No one blames you, none of us ever will. But you are right, we should return to them before the master starts to worry," he said softly and turned himself to where his body was against the bed so she could climb back onto his back then picked the bag up with his mouth and headed back to Tristan's room.

:"You can say what you want but that still isn't gonna make me feel any better." she said getting onto his back again and then hung on to go back to tristan's room

"How can I make you feel better?" Daniel asked the best he could as he mounted the long stair case. This was the hard part, all those steps.

 

"Um, so how old are you?" Tristen asked as he continued rubbing Sampson's head. The hound was happily panting as the affection was keeping his attection on the affection instead on licking himself.

"I really don't know." she said sighing. "I don't think you can do anything to me to make me feel better." she said.

 

 

"I am 19 almost 20." he said. "Or at least I think I can't remember how old I am." he said sighing. and looked at Tristan. "How old are you." he said. Zander didn't know what was going on but he was starting to like Tristen a lot, but he didn't want to do anything to scare him.

"I'll try to make you happy again Kara," Daniel panted as he pushed himself to go faster up the stairs.

 

"I turned eighteen this spring. Or nineteen. I'm a bit confused about my age, to be honest. I can't really remember, and I don't know the day I was born, my mother did but my family died when I was young and I can't remember much about things like that."

"Thanks, but don't push yourself alright Danny." she said smiling.

 

"Yeah, well how about we pick a day to have your birthday?" Zander asked looking up. "If you can't remember what day it is we can make a day in the spring alright." he said. Zander then shook his head. "Age is a funny thing because after you get a set age you just don't care about it any more." he said.

"You're worth the effort Kara, you always have been," he huffed past the bag handle and had to stop on a landing to catch his breath. He didn't normally give rides to people so he wasn't so strong.

 

Tristan shrugged a bit when Zander spoke about not carrying about age. He wasn't so sure about that, he had care because that meant he might have had to leave the orphanage, which he ended up having to do even if he hadn't wanted to. "I'm just lucky to have good idea about how old I am I suppose. Some of the other orphanages didn't even know since they were left on our doorstep with nothing but the clothes on their backs, their parents didn't even stick around to explain anything. We had one boy we were quite sure was the lord's bastard, looked just like him but he was never claimed even when it was narrowed down to who his mother could be, she acted afraid at the very idea and would run away at the sight of him. The entire thing was crazy."

"Thank you Danny I can go up on my own." she said

 

"I feel sorry for that boy then and shame on the lord for leaving him the way his mom was acting she might had be raped by the lord, but most woman would want money and keep the child that way they can keep getting money that is weird that she didn't want him." he said sighing. "Well trust me I am not like that damn if I was human I could stop those lords from doing that crap this suck." he said then looked up at the ceiling. "It really does not being able to help my people." he said and looked up he wanted to blame kara and at first he did but it wasn't her fault she was just doing what she thought was right it was the witches fault for doing this to him and the other lord who made her think that he was the same."

Daniel shook his head. "No, you're still hurt. I don't want you to risk you hurting yourself trying to get up the steps. If I have been human this would have been easier. I had stronger arms and legs then," he said before starting up the stairs again before she could try to climb off his back.

 

"Lord Morvane is a terrible man," Tristan sighed. "I would not be surprised that he ordered her to never acknowledge the child or someone would die. He liked to use death a lot in his threats. And heaven help you if you deny him what he wants, he'll tear down your life till he gets what he wants."

"But you can't keep going like this or you will hurt yourself." he said sighing not sure what he wanted to do.

 

 

"He is once that I get back to normal I will take care of him." he said sighing not sure what to do or how he should go about being normal. "Alright they should be back soon," he said

"I can do this," Daniel panted as he pushed onwards.

 

 

"If there's any way I can help all of you return to your human bodies please tell me. I'll help any way I can," Tristan offered then frowned. "Daniel might be having trouble with the stairs. The bag might be heavy and then he has Kara on his back and he would never let her walk if he could help it, it's really obvious he would do anything for her. So Daniel might need help with the stairs. I wish my leg was healed, then I could be more useful," he sighed, feeling like he was a burden.

"Please don't hurt yourself for me I will cry if you do." she said

 

"It is not something I can tell you about because if done for the wrong reasons we will die." he said looking away from him. "Besides I don't know how much longer any of us got we might loose our minds tomorrow we are all slipping if you can tell each day part of us forgets what its like to be human. Hell I was only reminded when I hurt kara and you brought sammy back to me." he said sighing.

"No tearsKara, I'll just be very tired and thirsty when done. I'll be fine," he panted as he kept pushing himself up the stairs and finally reached the top, panting heavily.

 

Tristan's eyes widened when Zander said they could die if what was needed went wrong. "Um, not to seem self centered but what's going to happen to me if you lose yourself?" he asked softly as he looked at the prince. He could understand the other being hungry and eating him, he would be easy pray after all. "I think Ms. Kara has forgiven you for that. And I'm glad that I helped Sampson, he seems like a wonderful dog," he said then laughed as Sampson licked his face.

"Alright but its hard ok I just hate myself some times." she said sighing

 

 

Zander sighed. "I thought about that and if that happens I am leaving everything to you and the orphans. I can't have them come here when I look like this." he said. "This will be a safe zone for all and if they need to I can even give them jobs I'm sorry I want you to give them jobs to help out and pay them you will have everything that is mine alright." he said smiling at him. "As for me you will need to kill me so this will be yours if I become more than what I am now." he siad
