"I really don't want to kill you so if I can help then I'll try to help even if I'm not told what it is," Tristan offered. "You seem like a kind person when you're not mad," he said softly then looked to the door and frowned. "Oh dear. Daniel are you alright?"

 

Daniel shook his head as he walked to the bed and set the bag on the floor by Tristan and helped Kara back to the bed before laying down to catch his breath.

"I'm sorry thats part of the curse as well we can't tell anyone how to brake it." he said sighing finally saying something about it. "Tho I am not sure myself I think Kara knows but she won't tell anyone." he said sighing as he saw them come threw the door and he stopped talking.

 

"He pushed himself too much." Kara said sighing. "I told him not to but we are back and we can help him,:

"You don't have to explain to me what I'm doing just tell me," Tristan sighed but let it go when the others entered. "I still have some water if you're thristy," Tristan offered as he reached down and grabed the bag. Sampson was still trying to lick his face as he looked through the bag and got out what he needed. "Um, sir I'll need your help with him. After I start pulling these out he might try to get away."

"Alright I will hold him." Zander said as he held the dog.

 

Kara got the water and gave it to Danny. "Oh and by the way you should be held by tonight or tomorrow depending on how much energy I give you." Kara said

Tristan looked up at Kara and nodded. "Thank you but please don't push yourself," Tristan said softly before he began slowly looking over Sampson's body for thorns. He found serval and Sampson was not pleased with the pain of the removal or when Tristan cleaned the cuts with the water Daniel didn't drink. "I should probably clean these every few hours since I'm sure he'll roll in something if he's anything like the dog's I've seen before."

"I'm not sure if he has is or not we never know until we do it." zander said then shook his head not sure what to do. "I don't know what to do with tho." he said smiling

"I'll just clean him up every few hours and hope for the best, that's all we can do really," Tristan said softly. "He'll be fine if I keep cleaning the cuts," he said softly as he kept working. "He'll be alright."

"Yes he will its not the first time he has come close to death and he knows I need him as well." Zander said kissing his dog and smiling. He looked over at Tristan and smiled. Damn it the feelings are getting stronger what do I do he thought to himself.

"Well once I'm up and moving around I'll see about those vines and anything else that will make this a safe place for Sampson. After all, when it gets cold he'll be a big help keeping beds warm, won't you big guy?" he asked rubbed Sampson's ears, the hound happily licking at his master's face.

Zander smiling and then looked at him. "You might have to come share my bed we don't get that much heat anymore since no one is human that way sammy can keep us both warm." he said. "I think winter is gonna be here soon the way it has been getting colder."

"As long as the fireplaces are working right I can build proper fires so we won't get cold. Blankets will be a harder task," Tristan said, his mind going to preparing for winter like he always did at the orphanage. "Though I'm pretty sure it's more dangerous to try to check the roofs here and patch them then it is at the orphanage," he said though it seemed he was now just talking to himself. Sampson letting out a bark brought him back. "Oh sorry Sampson. I'll finish this before I get destracted again," he appologized and returned to checking Sampson for throns. "It wouldn't be anything different for me. We use sleep as many to a bed as we could during the winter. sometimes we'd even have to bring the pony and cow inside with us so they wouldn't freeze."

"Yeah my room is the only room with a working Fire place right now we have one downstairs,,,, but.......Um I think some of the staff lives in them Chimney and I really don't want to set any of them on fire. If we ever do get back to normal I would still want the same staff." he said looking at him. "Thats why you would have to be brought into my room."

"Oh, alright. I'll do my best to remember that. I suppose when all of you are changed back there will be more help with repairing things," Tristan said softly as he removed what he hoped was the last thorn from Sampson. "Good boy," he said softly and cleaned the cut. "Well just give me all the winter blankets and I'll make what repairs I can so we all can be warm. I can do that before the cold comes," he said with a smile.

Kara smiled and got onto the bed. "You should be healed by tomorrow, but I would take it easy on your leg alright." she said smiling

 

 

Zander let go of sammy and smiled. "Tristan, I want you to know I will never force you to do anything you don't want alright and after your healed I know we made that deal, but." Zander bit his lip. "You are free to come and go as you please." He said

 

Kara looked at him shocked and back at Tristan she knew what this meant.

 

"I better go alright." Zander said as he got up and kissed Tristan's head and left the room as he started to breathe hard outside the room and started to head for his

Tristan nodded when Kara said he'd be healed but needed to still take it easy. "Then mending is a good project till I have my strength back," he said with a smile then looked at the prince. "Thank you but I really don't have anywhere to go," he said softly and touched the place Zander kissed after he left the room. "Kara, Zander, or well do I call him Prince? He said that I can't help cause if I try to help I could make things worse or kill all of you but is there anything I can do to at least make things easier for all of you?"

Kara bit her lip. "Jiust be there for him aright he needs someone. and after that kiss on the head you can call him Zander. I shouldn't say but it means he likes you." Kara said smiling. "As I said before master has had a hard life and he just need people there for him. What he needs right now is you. You might not see it but you are good for him. Since this curse got on us he hasn't smiled so much. Now you show up and he is smiling again."

Tristan licked his lips and nodded. "I'll do what I can for him but I won't baby him. All of you have been through too much to be treated that way," he said softly. "But don't worry I'm not stupid enough to think he'll see my as a friend. He's a prince after all," he said with a laugh. He wasn't stupid Tristan knew that if Zander returned to his human form then Tristan would throw him out of the palace and that is if he was being nice.

"You know I think you give our master little credit, before all of this happened he thought of all of us as friends." he said. "Even tho he won't say it we all knew what he was doing. I am sure he will never kick you out. In fact I am sure he might hire you to help around here and you would get paid for it." Kara said looking at him. "You just have to give our master a chance. Once he starts liking someone there is no going back." Kara said smiling

"I suppose I'm just used to the lord I had to deal with," Tristan sighed. "Okay. I'll do my best," he said before laying back down as Daniel got up and walked over to Kara and nuzzled her face with his nose.

 

"How are you feeling?" he asked softly knowing that riding on his back earlier couldn't have been the best for her injuries.

"I am fine danny I promise just hurt a little, but I think I am good." she said and then looked at Tristan. "Our master is one of a kind despite everything in his past." Kara said

Daniel nodded then looked to Tristan.

 

"He does seem nice. Though he was very frightened when I first saw him," he yawned, feeling tired again. "I'm going to rest some more so I can be useful when my leg is healed."

 

"I need to attend to my duties and I'll check on our brothers," Daniel said softly and quietly left the room.

"Our master we scared of a lot of things you know. I mean he had no idea who you were so you could of turned him in and had us killed.....You could of been sent here to kill him....And he was loosing his own mind before you came here so you here is really good for him." Kara said. "I'll see you later danny." she said smiling. "Maybe you should ask master about his past when you feel up to it alright." she said as she closed her eyes

"I can understand that, we were all scared. I'd be frightened with someone just showed up at my home too," Tristan yawned softly. "I hope I can help him keep himself and fine stuff he lost.

 

Daniel nodded and licked Kara's cheek before heading out of the rooma nd straight to the kitchens to check on Kara's brother then would look for his own brother.

"Go to sleep alright I know you are tired. We can talk more tomorrow alright." she said smiling and curled up on his leg. The sad thing was Kara realized she hadn't eaten food in days and she still wasn't hungry. "Tomorrow you can get to know the master more." she said

"I'm just going to nap for a little while. It's been a busy morning," Tristan sighed then sat up and looked around. "Shit," he grumble as he saw that the baset of food that had been brought up my not eaten had been sat down away from the bed with all the comotion about Sampson. "Kara, do you think I'm healed enough to homble over there and get that for us if we can get hungry?" he asked. He was use to not eating three meals a day but he wasn't sure if Kara was the same way.
