"Alright thanks Danny." he said looking at him and the smiled. "No he does and he doesn't like most people." he said sighing and looked at him not really sure what he needed to do.

Daniel shyly licked her cheek before getting up and leaving the room to report to the prince and go see what food he could bring up to them. "Hey Adam, good morning have you seen my brother?" he asked as he poked his head into the kitchen.

Adam smiled. "No I haven't he was with me last night and then he told me he had something to take care of and would be back soon." he said looking at him not sure what was going to happen or what he wanted to do.

"Oh, okay. Well, Tristan and Kira are awake and hungry," He explained. "Do you know if the master is awake yet? I was thinking I should update him on how Tristan is doing," he said as he walked further into the kitchen.

Adam smiled. "I think master is awake you might want to check and food is almost done." he said looking at him and went back to cooking the food and smiled as he started to soon plate the food.

Daniel nodded and headed up to the prince's room to help him dress for the day and inform him about Tristan and his breakfast being almost ready for him to enjoy. Once he was told to he would take food up to the young man and Kara.

 

David was already in Zander's room and helping him dress for the day. "Is there anything different you'd wish to do today master?"

"Thank you." Zander said smiling. "Alright so I don't think I have anything planned." he said looking at David. "Soon when is food gonna be here and soon?" he asked looking at the boys

 

Kara was smiling and looked at Tristan.

"Adam said that it is almost done when I check in on him before coming here. I will go fetch it for you now master," Daniel said before bowing and hurried out.

 

"Master, I mean no insult, but will the boy be you new misress?I only ask so I can inform the staff how to treat him.

 

"What is it?" Tristan asked with a weak smile. "Um, are you and Daniel lovers? You look like you care for each other."

"I don't know Daniel I really don't." he said looking at him and started to get up and getting ready.

 

Kara blushed "I really do like him and I am happy with him. I think that he will be good for me I always loved him I just don't know if he never noticed me." he said sighing

David nodded before returning to help Zander dress for the day.

 

 

"Maybe he just thought himself not suited for you? He seems a bit in awe of your healing gift and that you're a dragon so maybe he just never thought of himself as someone good enough. There was someone I like but never paid me any mind and got married. If you like why not take a chance? What harm could it do?"

Zander got up and sighed as they started to get him ready.

 

"Maybe I have always been a good healer most people here can do amazing things, but they just forgot. Master was nice to us so I wanted to be nice to others...." she said. "Maybe if I hadn't been nice we would still be normal. Every day I feel a fight to stay myself Its because normal for me now I don't know about the others but I think they do too." she said

Tristan frowned as he forced his body to sit up more than shift closer to Kara and lifted her up into his arms and gave her and comforting hug. "There is nothing wrong with what you did. The fault lays with the person who did this to you," he said softly. "You are strong and I'm sure you'll find a way to fix this. If I can be of any help please tell me," he offered before laying her back on the bed, hoping he hadn't made her uncomfortable. "Your master is a bit scary looking and his temper is crazy but for you and Daniel I'll help."

 

"Breakfast is ready for you master," Daniel said as he rejoined David and Zander. "Do you wish me to go ahead and take Tristan up his share?"

That was the first time she had been hugged since she turned into this dragon. "Thank you and just so you know the only reason why Master temper is crazy is because of the curse it does thinks to our head. Before this Master would be helping with us he didn't see the reason that we were staff and he was a prince he would come down and help us if we had issues. This curse has made him into the worst self he ever was. He wasn't like this when he was human. Just don't tell anyone I told you that." he said

 

Zander sighed and looked at him showing a little bit of human side. "Can you make it or should I help and take it to him." he said

Tristan frowned and nodded. "Okay, I won't say anything to anyone but I don't know if I won't become frightened by him," he said with a small frown. "I hope I can help you all soon. I don't like staying in bed like this. I've never been able to sleep in. I've always had to work," he sighed.

 

Daniel frowned then sighed. "Yes sir I will need help, or it will take many trips up the stairs so I don't spill anything," he explained. He missed the servants who had been turned into monkeys, they had been very helpful carrying things up the stairs.

"You can be scared I am just saying he is a teddy bear on the inside." she said smiling and looked away.

 

Zander nodded and soon started to help them take the stuff up stairs

Tristan nodded before looking towards the nearest window. "He's a noble, I'm afraid of all nobles since the Torent Wars when I was little. I saw the nobles taking home us kids for pleasure. I just try to stay calm, attacking nobles end badly," he sighed. "If I stay here after I'm healed I won't see war again will I?"

 

Daniel carried what he could in a basket with his mouth as they headed up the stairs. He partly wondered if even the master would want to enjoy breakfast with Tristan but then again he'd also be having breakfast with his servants and that wasn't really proper was it? Maybe they should rework the way things were done now that there were so few of them.

"No he tries to stay our of all that he keeps to himself mostly and to the staff members as well." he said looking at him. "Just get to know him as him stuff he will answer he is really cool about that and never raised a hand to us when he was human." she said smiling. "Most of the time he had to keep up appearance in front of other." she said then sighed. "but you will never know him unless you give him a chance."

 

 

Zander sighed as he helped The servants he did enjoy trying to help them as a kid until his father beat some since into him. This curse was taking everything away from him and he didn't even know why he was helping anyone out, but he would never tell them that he loved helping them out never.

Tristan nodded as he bit his lip, he was unsure of how to do that. "I'll try, I'm not very good with meeting new people or making friends. Those I had are simply because I grew up with them," he explained. "But I will try. If I'm going to work here then I need to get along with people."

 

"I do hope they will be better soon," Daniel said the best he could with the basket handle in his mouth. "Tristan seems the type who needs something to do, the sort of person who can't sleep unless they've tired themselves out with work." Daniel was never sure if the master liked it when he was chatty but he was never told to stop so he supposed Zander didn't mind.

"You already get along with me and the others who are still part human." she said giggling. "We are friends." he said smiling and licked his leg

 

"He might not know any better as well." he said looking at him and yawned. "Sorry I am not sure I slept well last night it getting rougher to sleep how bout with you?" he asked as he carried everything he needed up the stair and smiled

"We are?" Tristan asked softly then smiled slightly. He wouldn't have thought someone would consider him a friend so easily. It was a nice feeling. "I hope I make a good friend," he said softly.

 

 

"It was easier next to Kara and hearing her breathing. I found it very comforting. Though Tristan seemed to have some nightmares but didn't wake up. Seemed like some really bad stuff but he couldn't seem to wake even when I tried to wake him. But that seemed to make it worse so I left him be. But I doubt what is causing you to sleep badly is the same as him."

Kara smiled. "Of core you make a great friend." she said smiling and shook her head. "Why would you think you don't you never had a real friend before have you?" Kara asked looking at him and sighing.

 

"Yeah I bet that kid went through a lot." he said looking at him and shaking his head. "Maybe one day he will tell us what happened. That is when he is ready. I have a feeling he has had it bad just like the rest of us here." He said as he walked up the stairs. "I am sorry that I can't help more."

"My friends and family in the village that I was born in were slaughter then nobles took those of us who they thought pretty as pets, I ran and in the orphanage I was tasked with a lot of work and keeping the younger children in line, so the younger smaller ones didn't really like me."

 

"Master, you help us as much as you can. We just wish things weren't so hard for us. When the monkeys lost their memories things like window washing became impossiable."

"No wonder you hate nobles." she said looking at him. "You should talk to our master about this his dad was really bad to him as well maybe he can share what he did to make him the man he is and he still is kind and gentle and after what happened to him I don't know how he is the way he is." she said looking at him.

 

"I know and the more I think about the more I don't this this will ever be broken you guys have hung on so long for me while other faded away I think it might be because you have found your love ones and don't tell you haven't I can see it all over you guys when you are near each other."

"If I try to talk to him about it I might have to speak about the things I saw back then," Tristan said with a shudder as he tried not to think about the attack on his village and what he saw.

 

Daniel whimpered softly and wished he could say something smart like Kara could. The best he thought up was 'But if you could fall in love'. But that might just anger the master. "I wish I had just told her years ago when we were still human, but I had all these stupid thoughts back then, now look at us," he sighed. "But master is very lucky, you can still hold someone in your arms. Even if it's a silly old dog like ours," he chuckled, glad that Tristan had saved the old hound for a bit longer.

"It might be good too talk about it and let someone know about it." she said looking at him

 

"He is silly but that dog if it dies I think the last of me will go it almost did." He said looking at him. "I don't think I have long left myself before I become the monster everything thinks I am." he said sighing as he helped danny to the room and soon got ready to go in.
