He quietly tuned the others out, staring out the window at the darkness. The only source of light was his phone and the head beams on the car. He wished he didn't agree to follow Shugo (a guy in Hyuaki's classes) and his so called friends to an area far out into the country side. He knew it wasn't a smart idea... he didn't usually make careless mistakes like this.. but for some reason he let himself be pressured by Shugo and cared too much about what he wanted just like how Shugo cared so much how Sango and Ryugi percieved him. He was partnered with Shugo in one of his classes which led to them becoming good friends. The blonde was an amazing and fun person to be around, however his friends weren't so much.. Sango and Ryugi. They were so different... and didn't even have much in common with him or Hyuaki and just seemed to belong to a different crowd. He couldn't figure out how Shugo and the two even became friends. They were condescending, often using others and wanting attention. The opposite of Shugo and him. Though.. at one point he did attempt to form a friendship with Sango and Ryugi during lunch hours and after school, and they seemed friendly at first and acknowledged him but at times also treated him like an outcast. So lately Hyuaki tried to keep the conversations he had with the two short as possible. It was currently winter break, 1 weeks away from returning to school. He spent 1 week at Shugo's, and now he wished he should've just been smart and stayed at the house... He knew nothing good could come of this trip.. so why did he agree to this? So what if Shugo had became upset if he didn't actually want to come? At least he'd still be alive tomorrow.. and now he was probably going to get bitten and killed by a vampire. That was just great... Hyuaki fidgeted a bit and glance to the right at his friend, who's blonde hair and face was unseen in the dark car. He was sitting in the backseat next to Hyuaki, teasing Sango who sat upfront in the passenger seat. Everyone else in the car was just laughing, clowning like they were going to a party and unaware of the danger they were in. Hyuaki frowned at is friend, a bit nervous as he thought about what the outcome would be after they went to the cursed graveyard. If he told them that vampire's were real.. would they laugh it off or believe him? He knew for sure they wouldn't believe him, and laugh. they thought it was just a rumor. This was all a joke to them. Hyuaki cleared his throat, pulling a bit at the helm of his sweater as he lowered his feet back onto the floor. He tried not to look nervous or like this ride wasn't bothering him. "You guys do realize that vampire's are real right?" Hyuaki's tone was serious and firm, his heart beating quickly as Shugo and Sango stared at him. Ryugi looked at his rear view mirror since he was driving and all 3 of them laughed at Hyuaki. Hyuaki gave a fake small laugh, knowing that was going to happen.
candicame
Name: Alexander Aka: Alex Gender: male Age: 237 personality: Reserved, patient, civilized, posh current job: Financial Management field of study: Buisness/Accounting college: Yale physique: average stature: 6'3 ft weaknesses: sunlight, garlic, iron fear: stagnation Likes: antiques, high society, art, music Dislikes: stupidity, riff-raff Background story: Alex was once a brilliant entrepreneur, who made his fortune on steel, building the railroad for a fledgling American nation. He quickly became a member of "the new nobility", rubbing elbows with the likes of JP Morgan. He traveled extensively, over his long life, across the Americas, Europe, Africa, and Asia. Much of his past is shrouded in mystery, but in the early 1800s, people began to spread rumors about his eccentric habits. He was no longer taking appointments during the day, only during the evenings. He was taking extensive trips to Europe 'for his health'. In the 1890s, an unknown man appeared, claiming to be the millionaire's son. He looked enough like the few portraits that the man had sat for, and he had all the proper paperwork. He seemed to have inherited his father's aversion to the outdoors, but his reclusive habits were easily overlooked by those who needed his financial expertise, and he quickly amassed a small circle of friends and business associates. He traveled the world, sorting out his 'father's' affairs, amassing a series of vacation homes, as he refused to stay in hotels. He amused the locals with his uncanny ability to pick up any human language as if he had had extensive training, and tales of his travels, as well as those of his 'father'. Strangely, it seemed that every city that Alexander visited would be plagued by a gruesome murder, discovered long after he had gone. He became so good at disguising his victims, that it looked as thought he would never be caught. Setting: Japanese Countryside 1917 Alex has lured his newest victim out into the countryside. The Great War is in full swing, and many of these places have dugouts, used by soldiers or used to hide /from/ soldiers, stone structures, sturdy enough for a family to hide from a raging battle, a place where no one will hear him scream. The man is drunk, easier to persuade, and Alex has no trouble bringing him inside and shutting them both up. The impossible happened. Alex had waited far too long to feed, and he was weak, whereas the victim he had chosen was young and strong. The man didn't overpower him /easily/, but he did overpower him. That was no real problem, he could be caught again-the problem arose in the fact that when Alex tried the trapdoor that would let him out, it wouldn't /budge/. The wood was thick, but had Alex been freshly fed, he could have shattered it easily. As it was, he was throwing his entire body into it, jumping full force, and the door rattled, but held tight. As the years passed, the war ended, a second began, the empire fell. The countryside gave way to suburbs, the suburbs gave way to cities. Times changed and the landscape changed with them. People forgot about dugouts and bomb shelters, and families sold land to the city, or lost them when the nobility fell. They made convenient storehouses, and in more than one case, mausoleums were built on top of them. After a century, Alex is clinging tenaciously to his humanity, but weakness and hunger have driven him mad. Every so often, people who visit loved ones interred in the mausoleum say that they can hear scratching coming from the floorboards. It's rumored that the place is haunted, as it is a cemetery, and often people will go there and try to summon ghosts or demons. But no one has ever thought to pry up the floorboards and see where the sounds are coming from...
nightofterror23
Hyuaki began to sweat a bit as the car pulled up in front of the gravesite. Mist shadowing the graveyard, making a shiver go down his spine.. The male's shoulders tensed, glancing back at Shugo who already stepped out of the car, slamming the door. He sat there a bit longer before suddenly yelping when the door on his side was opened and his arm was being tugged on so he could stand by Shugo. "You act like you never been to a graveyard before," one of the twins rolled their eyes, annoyed as usual. Hyuaki kept his face blank, sighing inwardly as he made no comment. Of course he's been to one before- but he couldn't get rid of the bad feeling in his gut that something bad was about to happen. This graveyard wasn't ordinary. Was he the only one hearing the moaning and groaning coming from behind the iron black gate that wasn't locked for some reason? He must've been because Shugo tugged him along towards the gate with the twins, going inside before finally releasing the others arm. Hyuaki stood away from the 3 idiots with a glare, careful not to touch anything. They were just laughing at him, thinking this was all a joke. How was this even a bit funny?Well..whatever, they could laugh all they wanted. At least he was probably going to still be alive from not doing anything stupid, and angering any spirits. Though he probably already angered them just from walking in here.. Hyuaki frowned, wondering why he agreed to come here. He didn't want to end up dead. He waited with a tiresome look, holding his breath as he expected the others to somehow break an object or start messing with what didn't belong to them, "Everything I heard about this place are just rumors, Hyuaki. nothing but lies, stories to keep people up at night. Why are you on edge?" Shugo used a bitter tone with his friend, shaking his head at him. He kept his mouth shut, not seeing a point to explaining anything to him- and just watched as Shugo walked around, soon picking up a small, shiny trinket box with skulls on the top. The other two touched and picked up gifts as well that were left near tombstones, even burying some of the items in their pockets. Hyuaki seemed nervous, slowly moving back towards the gate as he heard multiple whispers, carrying on through the air and the same disturbing noises from before. He noticed the moseleum that stood out of course, it was very creepy. wincing at the feeling in his gut that only became worse, he slowly pushed at the gate.
