"In other words their parents kill them either way." Alarian replied his tone cold. It hurt of course it did, but he would not let this one lose his life because of something like this. His touch was gentle as he ran his hand over the boy's body slowly mending different wounds. He couldn't heal them to quickly or it could hurt the boy more in the end. Glancing over his shoulder to Amon when the demon said that the boy's rib cage had been snapped and he would die in a few hours. The young child in his arms instantly confirmed the demon's words.

Alarian hadn't even made it to the child's rib cage yet, but he looked down at him. Gently pushing what he wore up to look at the bruising around the ribs. "Can I? Or will I?" He responded before he let his fingers run over the bruised skin. It would take a bit more out of him to heal such a wound and save the child's life. He'd have little energy left but he knew it was necessary. "I can at least make one thing right." He murmured as his golden eyes locked on the eyes of the little boy. Healing his ribs would not be painless, but it was possible.

It was a slow process, but before long Alarian had finished the job. Running a hand gently over the child once more to check for anything he had missed. His energy was little, enough to help him get through the rest of the day. It had been awhile since he had to heal so much on one person.

"Yes no matter what he would of died yes." he said looking at Ala. "It as sad life they live but when the angels don't care any more that is what people do to live." Amon said

The little boy winced in pain., but didn't scream or anything he knew he was dying and waited for death to come. Then the angel started to heal him. "What are you doing I am nothing to you I can't give you anything either. I am worthless." he said as healing him started to hurt. "I can't do anything right." he said crying as his body started to shake threw the process he was scared and didn't know what to do. "Why....Why are you doing this." he cried. "You should of let me died." he said crying. "No one ever cared about me before."

"I have a feeling he never wanted this kid thats why he brought him here now because he didn't want him. So you good now or are you almost dead because you used it all healing the kid."

"It's not that we didn't care... just... have high priorities..." Alarian knew how messed up that sounded. In a way it was true, they focused more on larger cities and countries that were doing well. Then the suffering of one town being tortured by a demon. Still, he knew it was no excuse to have allowed such suffering to go on. When the child began to protest to his healing he shushed him softly before finishing.

"I don't want anything from you." Alarian added when he recalled the young boy saying he couldn't give him anything. "No life is worthless." He added as he glanced back towards Amon who was speaking once more. A small frown crossed his face, "It will take more than healing one person to end me." Turning his gaze back to the boy he helped the young child to his feet before he slowly got to his own. Making sure that the little boy was steady before his gaze returned to the demon.

"Oh so my life just wasn't one of those things our villages didn't matter to anyone." the boy said sound. "How could you just leave us do you know how many kids are being prepared out there right now you will least have 100 more kids in the next few days!" he said crying. "And now that he won't hurt any one any more they have a choice kill there kids at home or bring them here no one wants us don't you get it our parents made the kids to die." he said crying The boy was so scared and shaking. "I don't know what to do I don't have anything to live for."

Amon set in his chair. "See what you have been let go on what these people will do to save themseives in this town its kill or be killed that is what the angel's made it because they never helped so thanks for giving yourself to me, but 100 more kids still may die in this town Kids are made to die and you are just learning that anyway you can't kill yourself that will void the deal."

Frowning Alarian struggled to find the right words for the child. What could he possibly say to make him feel better. But he was pulled from his thoughts of the boy when Amon spoke again. "You brought this suffering to this town wanting our attention. We hoped not giving it to you would bore you. After I realized that wasn't the case I stepped in. I can't change the damage that was done before I got here." Alarian said his voice becoming hard. He didn't like that he was in a sense being blamed. "I won't kill myself. I will hold up my end of the deal."

Still... he knew he had to do something to save the lives of the other children suffering in the town. But... how could he? He was unable to leave the demon's home. Hell, where he was standing right now was the farthest he had been from the creature since securing the collar around his neck. There was no way he could go into town to try to save those innocent lives. But he knew that the other angels could, and right now he could only hope they would step in.

"Those kids are dead." the boy cried.

The demon showed caring for the first time in a long while. "If you want to save the kids call in the angels and tell them to get here and go door to door and get the kids out if I let you go help you will die I know you can do that he said giving the angel his phone."

"Why? Why are you helping." he asked confused

Glancing down at the phone handed to him Alarian looked at it for a moment before looking back up at Amon. "Why are you doing this?" He asked. It made him feel like once more the demon didn't really want to hurt him, or anyone for that matter. After all, Amon hadn't hurt him at all today, he had shoved him against a wall and threatened him to not speak of what he had said in his sleep. But... that had been all. Quickly making the call he tossed the phone back to the demon. Though the angels had agreed, he knew some would also come here wanting him back.

Turning back to the boy he watched him, wondering what would become of a child that had lost all faith in him. All faith in the angels. It made him wonder how many other countless children they had let down, who had needed them and they had failed to protect. It was heartbreaking.

"Don't get me wrong I am only doing this because you said that no more human's die." he said smiling. "And I have to keep my slave in my reach." he said. "Boy I want you to get away from that door and hold on to ala, unless you want the angels to take you." he said

The boy shook his head and walked over to ala and held ala and shook his head again. "I don't want to leave him because he saved me I owe him everything." he said looking at him feeling weird that no one even cared about his name.

Alarian watching him gritting his teeth as the demon spoke. It was feeling the boy's arms wrap around him that he turned his gaze away finally. Looking down at the young child he pat his head gently before resting a hand almost protectively on his shoulder. Part of him wanted to tell the young child to run and get somewhere safer. At the same time where was a five year old boy to go alone? Sighing he glanced back towards Amon just as he heard a banging on a door.

Of course Alarian knew it was some angels, whether coming for him or the child clinging to him he had no idea. But he did know that he wouldn't be going anywhere. He would hold on to his end of the deal and remain with the demon no matter what.

Amon finally heard a knock on the door and knew it was the angels and knew that no matter what ala wouldn't go back"Come in!" he said in a deep voice and pulled Ala onto his leg. "If you want to keep the boy then you can the danger to the kid has passed." he said looking at him

The boy held onto the angel not sure what to do

A surprised sound escaped Alarian when he was grabbed and pulled back into the demon’s lap. Instantly he tried to object not just about the sudden movement but being forced back into his lap. Though he didn’t really have time when he heard footsteps, more than one set. Instantly his head shot up watching the group of angels walk into the room. He didn’t think he had ever seen them more determined. The looks on their faces practically said it all.

Suddenly, Alarian felt even more vulnerable. Not just with what he was wearing or where he was sitting but by the looks his brothers and sisters were giving him. Four angels stood before them, with one clear leader standing before the other three. For a moment, all was silent. Then the clear leader spoke, “I’m sure you know why we came in here. It isn’t for the child, and it quite clearly isn’t to speak with you.” The man’s voice easily filled the room.

"I know why but your brother came here and made a deal with the devil so this agreement can't be broke and if you kill me you kill him if you try to kill me you will also kill him." he said smiling. "He sold his soul to me and I only had you come for the kids in this town if it wasn't for me you wouldn't even know he was here. oh wait do you want to hear it from his mouth?" he said and looked at ala. "Why don't you tell them?" he smiled and kissed the angel's cheek. "Would you offer yourself up to get him back? if so I want you to take all your clothes off because you are in my kingdom now." he said smiling as lightening came from the ceiling hitting next to the angels.

Alarian watched the angels as Amon spoke. There was a deep need inside of him that practically screamed for him to leave with them, but he couldn't. He knew that, and he knew the demon would make that clear to him. The creature's words added to the kiss to his cheek made him look away. But he didn't speak, he could feel their gazes burning into him as if asking if it was true. But the angel who spoke turned back to the demon as he heard what he had to say. Not even flinching as lightning struck by him and those he had brought with him.

Laughing he spoke, "That's absurd." He didn't see why any angel would give themself to the demon, and he wasn't about to exchange himself for Alarian. Looking towards his brother he spoke, "Don't be crazy, Alarian. Come home."

Alarian glanced up when he was addressed this time not by Amon. "I always honor my promises." It was his only response. He had willingly given himself to the demon. Though he wanted nothing more than to leave with the others he had to honor his commitment.

"Should I give you something to remember him by I mean if you don't leave soon I might snap his neck just for fun. Mostly you can't do shit this isn't your place. I will give you a little bit before I kill all of you angels." he said

Alarian stiffened on Amon's lap as the demon spoke. His eyes darting towards him before turning back to the other angels. He could set it in the other's eyes, his unwillingness to leave without him. But he hadn't called them for them to try to rescue him. "Fine. But don't expect us not to cover back." The man responded before turning to leave.

"You wouldn't had know or cared but I let him call you so there is that. Oh and next time you come back I will make sure to angel traps set up in here that will mean once you come in you can't ever leave." he said smiling at them and then laughed

"We would have noticed." The angel replied glancing back over his shoulder. Completely ignoring the comment about leaving traps for them if they were to return. They'd plan it out if they had to.

Alarian watched them leave before he shifted wanting to put some space between him and Amon. Not wanting to be so close to him. Especially after this encounter.

"I think you should tell them to stay away because if not I will make them flightless." he said looking at the Angel really mad at this point. And casted a curse on ala's brothers without letting ala know.

The boy looked down. "Do what happens to me now?" he asked looking at them

"I can tell them all you want. It won't stop them if they are determined." Alarian responded a little frustrated himself. It was bad enough when Amon had threatened to rip off his own wings, he didn't like the threat of making his brothers and sisters flightless. That was something an angel prided more than anything else, their wings, the feathers on them and their ability to fly. Take that away and they had nothing left. Sure they were still immortal in a sense and they still had their magic. But what was the point?

Pulling himself away from the demon he managed to get off the creature's lap. No longer wanting to be in such close proximity with him. Turning to the little boy he gave him a small smile. Trying to fight back his own frustration and anger. The child hadn't caused these emotions and didn't deserve them from him. "You'll be safe and cared for." That was really all he had for the child at this point.

The demon was breathing deeply to calm down Then he hit the angel. "I am going to kill them." he said

"I know you are mad sir please hit me I have been trained to be hit all the time." The little boy said and looked down wanting the angel to hit him and let them have there way with him. "Please I don't know if I can live without pain." he said

Amon growled. "Get the boy some food now he looks like he hasn't ate anything good at all."

"No I eat when everyone else is done." the boy said in a soft tone.

Alarian grit his teeth when he was hit. Forcing himself not to say anything as he took in a deep breath himself. Turning his face away from the demon when he heard him speak. Frustrated that the demon was so unreasonable. He had practically brought it on himself. Deep down Alarian felt like Amon deserved the frustration and anger he was getting from this. But he knew better than to voice that. It was the little boy’s voice breaking through the room that drew him from his thoughts.

“I’m not going to hit you.” Alarian responded shaking his head. He wouldn’t hurt the child, it was against everything he stood for. No matter how angry or frustrated he got. Glancing towards Amon when he growled, telling him to get the child some food. Turning back to the boy as he practically confirmed the demon’s words. Frowning he reached out for the child’s hand using this as a chance to get away from Amon and out of the demon’s sight. Sure, he could have just summoned some food for the child but he needed to get away from the creature.

"Sir why did you give your self to that demon?" he asked as he took the angels hand. "Wait no I am sorry." he said pulling his hand away and looking down waiting for a hit knowing that it was wrong to talk aloud without someone asking him too. The boy was sad and thought his life would never be happy not ever.

Amon took a deep breath. "Don't stress, it will be alright." he said closing his eyes and asked for something to be brought an adult drink and soon one was brought to him and he drank it

Looking down at the little boy when he asked him why he had given himself to the demon he thought for a moment. It was obvious in his own eyes, but he understood the question all the same. A frown crossed his face when he apologized and pulled his hand away. Slowly he reached for the boy’s hand again and pat the top of his head gently. “Don’t be sorry. No one here is going to hurt you. I promise.” Pausing for a moment he thought about his answer. “I did it because I wanted to end the suffering going on here. I couldn’t ignore it anymore.” Remaining silent after that he lead the boy to get some food, putting a plate of hot food down before him and sitting down to wait for him to finish eating.

The boy started to eat the food and bit his lip trying to make sure that the angel was eating. "You should eat to I have never ate a big meal like this and I am not sure how to handle this." he said looking down and scared. "Please don't let me eat alone I am scared and I don't know what is going to happen to me now." he said his hands shaking as he ate the food

Alarian watched the child eat, resting in the chair beside him. His mind was racing as he sat there until the boy's voice cut through the room again. Looking down at him when he told him he should eat too. Though Alarian knew the boy was right, there was a part of him that had no appetite. He didn't have one since walking into the building the day before. Still in order to ease the child he took a bite of the food on the plate. He'd do whatever he had to in order to ease him and make him feel more comfortable.
