"I like Xylax." he said looking at him. "Sorry but that was the only word I could think of my dad used it on me all the time how bad of a word is it?" he asked looking at him looking so innocent like there wasn't anything bad in the world that happened to him. "Please don't let me feel this feeling and it be a lie." he whispered. "I don't know if I can take something like that." he whispered and looked down

"Bad enough that a young boy like yourself shouldn't be using it yet." Alarian responded patting him on the head gently. "Xylax it is then. A unique name for a unique child." He flashed him a smile before relaxing back on his right hand. "I'm an angel, Xylax. Whether or not I am a slave to a demon it's not in my nature to get someone's hopes up only to crush them. I literally can't."

"You never helped me before so why now because my dad tried to kill me in front of you?" he asked. "If he had killed me at home you would of never known. This village needed angels and you didn't come till my dad wanted to kill me." he said as he cried a little bit he had to let it out as he looked at the angel "my life was hell.not a moment of peace now your doing all these nice things for me I don't know if I can keep it together any longer." he said starting to cry

Alarian frowned when he listened to him speak. "I'm sorry." He murmured feeling his heart ache. He really did feel terrible, "I wasn't allowed to step in. Even when I had come here... and made the deal with the demon that I did I had done so against the others." It was hard to explain why it had taken him so long to step in but he did feel terrible. "If I could go back and change things... go back and give myself to him sooner to save everyone I would... but I can't."

"Sorry I needed to cry for a while." he said looking at him and sniffing "I was never allowed to cry at home, my dad would say 'suck it up you slut. You can't cry cause you are Trash.' and I hated it every time soon I just finally stopped showing anything and then you held me and I can finally feel emotions for the first time and there is a lot to take in." he said. as he took a deep breath and sighed. "Sorry I guess I'm a cry baby now right?" he asked

"No, of course you aren't. It's unhealthy to not show emotion." Alarian replied as he pulled him closer. Wrapping an arm gently around his shoulders. "Are you hungry?" He asked softly. The last thing he wanted was for him not to express when he was hungry. "Whenever you are hungry or want something just ask."

"But you haven't ate yet its rude for the......" (What are we calling him) The little boy shook his head. "Am I an equal?" he asked looking to him. "Even tho I am just a stupid human and can I hug you I have never been hugged or held before only by you." he said looking at him wanting to hold him wanting food, but still a little scared of what was to come yet.

"I know I haven't." Alarian replied. "Yes you are an equal and you are not a stupid human." He added with a small frown. When he was asked if he could hug him he watched him for a moment. "Of course you can." At that point he held his arms open for Xylax to.move into them.

Xylax smiled for the first time and then hugged his angel. "What is your name angel I would like to know yours and the demon's name if I am to stay here." he said looking at him. "Tho its not like there is anything for me in the outside world it feels safer in here at least I got a demon and a angel going to protect me." he said and closed his eye. "If I could eat something I would love to." he whispered and looked down he also wanted to take a bath but that was something for the rich and he didn't even have any clothes to change into

Alarian was pleased when he saw Xylax smile for the first time. Watching the boy move into his arms and hug him, his own arms gently wrapping around the child. "Alarian." He replied when he was asked what his name was, though he hesitated to give Xylax Amon's name as well. Was it a smart idea? He didn't know, but the demon did express making the boy feel comfortable and so he figured that it was only fair to share the creature's name. "And the demon's name is Amon." His voice was soft as he said that eyes drifting shut as he pat Xylax's back gently. Hearing that he wanted to eat an even bigger smile crossed his face, "Good. Let's go and get you some food. Then we'll clean you up before I let you run around the house."

Xylax smiled and looked at him. "Thanks but do you have a shorter name I don't know if I will remember that ala....rain?" he said not knowing how to say it again. "Am...on I got his name and my name is xylax." he said. "All these names are gonna be hard to remember." he said looking at him "Wait a second your going to let me clean up like how with a hose or in the sink or how?" he asked excited that some water was going to be used to clean him. "Just so you know I don't know how to clean myself I have never done it before coming here dad hosed me off." he said looking at him and blushed a little. "Can you help and show me maybe?" he asked as he bit his lip scared of the answer.

Alarian sighed slightly disappointed when Xylax asked him if he had a shorter name he could call him. He figured at this point he might as well just let him call him what Amon did. It was easier than having to get used to answer to yet another name. "If that's the case you might as well just call me Ala." It was a little frustrating but he knew he'd get over it. "Of course I am going to let you clean up and no, not by hose or in the sink. Like an actual shower." He was stunned when Xylax told him he didn't know how to clean himself. "I suppose I could teach you."

Xylax looked at him and his eyes looked like he was going to cry. "Really a shower, but those were only for the rich and people with money and I wasn't worth that water are you sure I am now?" he asked looking at him happy about what was going on and didn't know what he should do. "Yeah I'm sorry I know I should know how to wash by now." he said looking at him and blushed a little. "So I get food, Is it gonna be fresh like yesterday it was really good."

"You're living in a house with a demon and angel. A lot of things are going to be different. More accessible to you." Alarian replied as he reached for Xylax's hand and lead him from the room and into a bathroom. Moving over to the shower he turned the water on and waited until it was warm enough before turning back to the young boy. "Come here. We'll give you a quick shower before breakfast."

Xylax smiled as he saw the shower was running. "Wow that is magic." he said smiling and looked at him and walked over to ala and smiled at him. "A shower and nice food I feel like a king." he said giggling and looked at ala then looked down blushing more. "I'm sorry I can't stop smiling. I feel so happy and I am I never felt this way before so how dose this work do I get in with my cloths on to wash my clothes too?" he asked trying to think about it

Alarian gave Xylax a pleased look when the boy spoke, "You'll pretty much be treated like one from now on." He responded before he watched as the boy walked towards the shower. Chuckling softly he shook his head, "No, we wash clothes separately. So undress, then step in under the spray." He had to admit, he had never been in the position that required he teach anyone to bathe before. It was different, but he had no problem doing so.

Xylax nodded and took off his cloths and got into the water and a moan escaped his throat the water was so warm and felt so good and not too cold he didn't want to get out he was so use to cold water. "Thank you for showing me this." he said as his he fell to the floor not meaning to but there was so much warmth that it was relaxing his muscles. "Shoot didn't know that would happen." he said as a lot of the dirt started to come off his body showing that we was really pale and skinny.

Alarian gathered up the discarded clothes to get them washed up though he highly doubted he was going to let Xylax put them back on once they were clean anyways knowing he could always find the boy something else. He left the bathroom for just a short time and when he returned he noticed just how pale the child was as the water had washed away all the dirt. A small frown crossed his face, obviously Xylax needed to get more sun and definitely needed to be cared for better. Once he was sure the child was clean he spoke, "Now come here." He held a soft towel out to dry him off before they would get him into some new clothes and he'd take him to get some breakfast.

Xylan nodded and got out of the shower. "I loved it it was so nice where are my clothes to put on?" he asked wanting his old dirty clothes on and not sure why he didn't have them any more and wanted to see what was going on. "Hey what should I put on?" he asked looking at him

[Sathenus]

"I have new clean clothes for you. It would be a waste for me to have you clean up just to put those dirty clothes back on." Alarian replied after he made sure that Xylax was fully dry. Then he went and grabbed the small pile of clothes he had and handed them over to the boy. He was sure that Xylax was aware of how to get dressed on his own considering he didn't need any help undressing earlier. Once the boy was dressed he spoke again, "Now lets go get you a hot breakfast. Though I should stop by Amon's room and see if he would like anything while we are getting some food."

Xylan looked at him and then started to put the clothes on. They were clean and felt really nice. "I really like these thanks." he said as he rubbed his hands on his new clothes feeling nice and great. "I am so hungry now, but I can't get over these clothes. I love the feeling is this what clean clothes feels like?"

[Sathenus]

"I suppose." Alarian responded not having ever worn dirty clothes. He had always had on clean clothes. Reaching down he took the young boy's hand and lead him from the bathroom leading him towards the room he shared with Amon first. Knocking on the door he stepped in eyes going to the demon. "I'm about to go take him to get some breakfast... did you want something?" He asked knowing that the demon should eat something. At the same time he wasn't sure if the other man was really up to eating anything right now either. But it would have been rude of him not to offer.

"Anything will be fine." he said growing in pain as he was having his back closed up and bring something up for loila treating me too please." he said looking at him and closing his eyes. "Any thing will do." he whispered

 

"Ala I don't know what I want to eat." he whispered

[Sathenus]

"Of course." Alarian replied when he was told to bring something for Loila as well. When it was insisted that he didn't know what and that anything would be fine he just nodded in response looking over the demon's back. It was still looking pretty bad, but she was doing good at closing it up. Turning to lead Xylan out of the room he spoke one more time, "I'll be back shortly with something for both of you to eat." With that he left the room leading the young boy towards the kitchen where he started to cook them all breakfast. When he finished he set a plate down at the table for Xlyan. "Eat up, I'll be right back." Taking two more plates he returned to the bedroom. Knocking once more before he entered and carried the plates towards the bed. "Is there anything else I can get either of you?" He asked looking between the two.

"Thanks maybe some water." he said smiling and looked at him not sure what he should do at all. The most he knew is that he couldn't move right now. "Thanks for the food." he said smiling

 

Xylan smiled and started to eat and loved the food that he was given. He really felt like a king here and it was something he wasn't use to at all of it and loved the treatment and he didn't understand what he did that earned it.
