For a moment as they were on the ground everything felt dreamlike as a fairytail. Jack's heart thumped in his chest as he entered back into the house. He shook his head to get rid of the thought, yet his heart felt like it was being squeezed. Jack never felt anything like this and tried his best to ignore it. Organizating his room with some music playing helped clear his mind.As he finished he layed in his bed until he heard his father calling him down for dinner. He paid no mind to it as his stomach growled from looking at the food. His father giggled at that sound. Jack looked at the table and saw that thier had been only three plates set. He also noticed how Ben wasnt there and he oddly felt disappointed that he probably wouldn't be there for dinner. He asked Bens dad," Where's Ben?" But he also felt extremely sad because Ben had also promised him to venture out today. However Ben would be very tired due to how late he would have arrived home last night, assuming he returned at all. Jack scolded himself for being selfish about feeling sad on what Ben had done. Ben obviously had his reasons yet Jack feels the need to put the blame one him. He was truly selfish. Jack got off the bed and started his daily morning routine when he heard two vioces downstairs. "Ben i dont care you made a promise that you would not let work get in the way of diner you made a promise" his father said getting in his face. "i wont let it happen again" Ben said with his head down. "your right you wont i am calling your boss" His father said picking the phone that was in the hall. "no please dont" Ben said gently grabbing his arm. "let go" his father said pushing him away. "he wont answer he is not there" Ben said sounding a bit mad as he headed up the stairs. He really shouldn't be so selfish yet he couldn't handle it. He also didn't understand why he felt so upset. However, now he understood why Ben wasn't there for dinner. Jack was about to go back up the stairs when he saw Ben heading his way."Morning Ben, get some sleep we could go explore the town another day.", Jack said with a smile plastered on his face. He smiled when Ben said he would keep his promise, he was really selfish. Jack knew he should just tell Ben to rest but he really wanted to go out and explore the town. Right now he just wanted to spend time with him, Jack just didn't understand his own feelings. Jack then heads to his room to get ready. He chooses his clothing carefully unknowingly why and puts on his shoes. He tidies his hair and combs it. Once Jack was satisfied with the result he grabs his wallet and phone. His eyes landed on a necklace with a small metal dove on it. There was words embedded in the dove that read : perpetual love.He really liked the necklace and said to Ben,"I would love this one."
