Shicchan
Micah looked down at William as he spoke again and chuckled, shaking his head negatively. “I’m too stubborn to go back on my word, hun”, he replied, winking at him before leading their way out of the bus. He wondered if that guy would really stay standing outside of his door the whole night. Honestly, something told Gabriel the angry guard would certainly do that… In any case, the boy really hoped the storm he heard in the news this morning pours tonight. Right across from the bus stop there was a supermarket, their next stop. The younger male walked in and went straight to the meat session, seeming to be rather familiarized with the place. He already had what he wanted to prepare for them in mind. Lately, he had started getting more into cooking. He has always loved to eat and enjoy different kinds of foods. And thanks goodness he wasn’t allergic to anything. It had been some time since he first learned how to make the dish he was going to prepare for them tonight. But it also had been a while since he last made it, which made the ginger slightly worried whether the blond would enjoy it or not. The only people who got to taste his food were two: Gaysha, since sometimes they decided to hang out but didn’t really have much money to eat out, and the drummer from his band. Actually, he was one hell of a cook and taught Gabriel some tricks and simple recipes. When they were dating, they used to schedule a dinner made by them at least once a week. Each week one of them would prepare something. “Do you like mustard?”, the short male asked after picking up the best looking meat, wrapped in a transparent plastic, on a styrofoam tray, placing it on the red plastic basket he got on the way. “Or do you prefer just onions with it?”, he smiled, looking up at William. -Hideki-
Rex raised an eyebrow and it even made it over the sunglasses. “I didn’t know that you could be stubborn. What comes next, will you be trying to tell me that you had principles?” He laughed mockingly following the much shorter and younger man into a store. As much as he hated the fact he knew the store. He had bought groceries there before and he had gotten into an argument with a thug who had entered the store while hearing loud hip hop music without headphones. And if there was something Rex hated more than pop music it was hip hop and rap. At first the young man had acted like a loudmouth, dropping insults like bombs but it hadn’t taken much for Rex to scare the shit out of that wanna be gangster. He just looked at what Micah bought and ignored the other people around. Acknowledging their existence would have only gotten him mad again in the first place, so it was better that way. And when the ginger asked him another question regarding food he knew that he apparently really cared to eat with him, he just couldn’t wrap his head around why he wanted that. Maybe it was another attempt to seduce him, maybe he had heard about some home remedy that could be used as an aphrodisiac or something. Rex’s own thoughts amused him as he was nearly certain that that would be even too ridiculous for a man like the that whore to do. “I like both. I prefer the onions though.” He answered and when the red head had taken everything he needed they paid. It wasn’t a long way until they reached their destination and Rex turned up his nose when he saw the corridor of the house. He placed himself next to the apartment door that Micah was just opening, staring at the wall opposite to him. The former major general could hear babies cry out of another apartment and a frustrating mother shouting at her older kids for having turned the TV too loud. He heard a couple fighting, screaming at each other and throwing things at their heads. Rex frustratingly leaned his head onto the wall he was standing before. This was annoying and he regretted that he had made that suggestion. They should have just gone into the bordello because the corridor of that bloody house was even worse. The blond took a look at his wristwatch and got even more irritated when someone in the above floor started moving their furniture around and another one played loud techno music dancing and singing along. This corridor was fucking hell! Rex didn’t even look to Micah as he didn’t want to see a smug, mischievous grin because of the unpleasent situation. Shicchan
The ginger smiled at what he said about the food and nodded, going with the onions. After all, they were cheaper than mustard and would taste great if he prepared the plate correctly. The young male led their way to his building and complex floor. In fact, that corridor was one of the less noisy from the place and at least was on the opposite wing from the potheads, which was great. He disliked the strong scent of marijuana. Even though he had had it before, Micah didn’t get a hang of it. He noticed the other’s expression change when they walked into the corridor and actually smiled, looking up at William with a playful innocent expression. Gabriel could easily tell he would get incredibly pissed if he remained standing in that hallway for five minutes more. Maybe even two. The prostitute got his key and unlocked his door, opening it then walking in, turning on the lights. He took off his shoes and placed them beside the door, switching for a pair of beige slippers. Gabriel sighed softly and smiled at the scent of his house. He had cleaned it up yesterday. “Wouldn't you prefer to get in, William?”, Micah asked, looking back at the guard, trying to keep his smile from becoming too big and apparent. Suddenly, something got up from the couch and ran up to the ginger, hiding behind his leg as soon as it saw a stranger man standing by the door. He looked down at the furball and chuckled, bending down to pick the kitten up with his free arm, holding the small creature in a comfortable way for it. He was a tiny siamese-like kitten, with dark browns ears, tail, paws and muzzle. The rest of its fur was cream colored. His bright blue eyes scanned the big weird figure with attention and raised ears. “Don’t worry Rach, he means no harm”. The whore told his kitten calmly. This is Rachmaninoff :
-Hideki-
Not for the first time that night his veins started pulsating dangerously. He was like a bomb that would explode if it didn’t get defused early enough. The security guard didn’t even have to look at the whore to tell that the other was amused about the situation when he asked Rex whether he wouldn’t prefer to come inside. The blond just growled in a displeased way instead of an answer but it was clear that he would follow the younger man into his apartment. If he didn’t he would clearly start a fight with all of his neighbours at once. He was just ready to enter the apartment when an animal appeared. Rex looked down with narrowed eyebrows. A kitten! Sure. Of course that guy would have a cat. The former major general didn’t exactly like cats. He thought they were damn useless and he couldn’t understand why someone would want to play slave for a bloody cat and what that person would gain from that. He was a dog person. Dogs were loyal, obedient and faithful friends and comrades. Dogs assisted humans since ever. They were guardians, war dogs, hunting dogs, rescue dogs, blind dogs, and police dogs, in short they did their deeds in society and for the people, always there doing their work. And that was why Rex appreciated and acknowledged them but cats? What did fucking cats ever do for people or society? Other than that they caused trouble and extra work for the firemen who occasionally had to safe those animals from a tree, nothing. The guard ignored the cat but he did hear that the ginger had called it ‘Rach’ and he disliked it because he couldn’t pronounce the ‘ch’ correctly, never had been able to. But why on earth would someone give such a complicated name to their animal to begin with? His first hunting dog, he had got him at the age of six, had had the name Lucky. It was a classic, simple animal name but it couldn’t have been more cynic in that case as Lucky hadn’t had much luck. The dog had been hit by a car when he had been two years old only. The injuries had been too bad and there hadn’t been any chance for the animal to survive. Rex had cried and had been scared and his father had hit him hard in the face telling him not to cry like a disgusting, pathetic little pussy. He had told him to be a man and forced him to end Lucky’s pain by killing him off. Rex had done that and he had cried even more afterwards, feeling guilty and got spanked some more for being a sissy. The blond man had gotten another hunting dog after that, Baxter, and it had taken Rex years to be able to bound and love his new hunting dog as he had loved Lucky before and he had never cried since then. Baxter had more luck and didn’t die. However, his younger sister’s rabbit had been dying when Rex had been ten. The security guard had, without his father asking him to, ended the rabbit’s pain and he had picked on his little sister for crying telling her to not be a fucking pussy. While his father had been proud of him, he and his mother had also been displeased with how he had behaved towards his little sister and had forced him to apologise for it. He hadn’t been able to comprehend this at that young age, for him her crying had just been as disgraceful as his. After that incident and his sister seeing him killing off her rabbit Ginevra and he hadn’t gotten very close to each other and their relationship had been quite distant ever since. It weren’t the most pleasant memories but Rex was actually thankful to his father. Who would have known what he would have become otherwise. Maybe some cry baby like that black haired whore or even worse, he could have owned a cat. His father had always said only old virgin women and lesbians owned cats. And Rex had adopted that thought but even though Micah was none of that, the kitten was still actually fitting. When he finally entered the apartment and the door closed it became quieter and some of the tension was leaving his body. He put off the sunglasses as well as his jacket and looked around in the living room. It wasn’t like he had thought. It was much cleaner and actually quite tasteful. The older man had imagined the red heads apartment to be kitschy, cheap and overloaded with decoration. He had also imagined it being predominantly red. But now that he thought about it, it made sense that the whores living space didn’t look like a freaking bordello. He was also surprised that it wasn’t full of all the awards and posters and achievements of his past. Rex had thought to see the others apartments full of posters and other stuff from himself that showed that he had been a popular musician before. The younger man’s apartment apparently wasn’t a shrine for his past though, that was what his own apartment was. “Where are all your awards and gold records? Have you sold them like you sell yourself every night?” he asked in a provoking, mocking way when in reality he just wanted to know it. He wouldn’t admit any interest though. The former major general waited until he was showed where he should sit. He had manners, he was a guest and he would not just do as he pleased in another person’s home. The man had had a strict upbringing and even though Rex was a raging, bitter cynical man by now he sometimes remembered it. When he placed himself at the assigned place he sighed and stretched his body before he turned to the whore again. “Don’t think I don't know what this is. Obviously I have become your guest now. And I won’t tolerate being in debt. Hence, I will invite you for dinner tomorrow. I can’t cook, so we’re going out, no objection allowed.” He decided and looked grimly at the cat when it jumped next to him on the sofa and started to rub itself on his thigh, wanting his attention. “What do you want, you little waste of oxygen? Go away!” he ordered the cat, looking into another direction but since the kitten didn’t give up he scorned himself to pat the animals head a little. Shicchan
Micah could hear the ticking of the clock bomb behind him as he actually agreed to come in, instead of doing what he told he would: stand by his door for his whole shift. The young male smiled to himself and kissed the kitten’s head on his way to the couch, where he gently placed the feline down. Rachmaninoff was his favourite erudite composer. His mother would always play his 3rd piano concerto for her son. It was a really difficult piece, but she played it extremely well. That was the first song he watched her perform with an orchestra when he was very young. His father was against bringing him that day because of the intensity of the music or simply because he thought a five-year-old wouldn’t know how to appreciate that masterpiece and would only end up being a burden. In fact, it was the exact opposite. Turning back to the tall man, the ginger smiled again. “Make yourself comfortable”, he told the security. “Sit wherever you’d like— And oh, thank you for the coat”, Gabriel said, taking it off and handing it back to William. Even though he was used to smell like other men, it wasn’t something he could say he loved. It was just a consequence of his work. But still, that guy’s scent was actually good and for the first time in years, he didn’t really wanted to wash it off right away. The question asked by him made the ginger chuckle and turn to look at the sitting down male. “Maybe?”, he replied with an innocent look upon his face. “Why, hun? Are you actually wanting an autograph?”, the prostitute teased and chuckled again, clearly knowing the answer. Gabriel went to the kitchen to put what they bought, then throwing the garbage away and returning to where his guest was, not wanting to simply turn his back while someone was about to talk to him. His olive green eyes eyes widened at the words that came out from his mouth. He blinked then sat down beside the blond man, looking at him with curiosity. He wanted him to repeat what he said just to make sure his ears weren’t pranking on him. Was he just invited out on a date? Did William just invited him, who he obviously despised, out? What was going on? At first, he didn’t know how to answer and simply watched the other pet his kitten in an actual soft manner. He could tell by the quiet purring Rachmaninoff enjoyed the big hand’s touch. Slowly, he raised his gaze back to William, smiling softly. “Alright, then~ I’ve got my day off tomorrow, so just say the time and place”, the ginger spoke. “Oh, speaking of food, should I already start preparing our dinner? Or would you like to take a shower first?”, the shorter male asked. In face, he really wanted to take a shower. The brothel plus the bar most certainly weren’t nearly as clean as his own place. He hated the contrast of being dirty somewhere clean. As soon as he finished speaking, a very bright lightning’s glow filled the room for a moment, followed by a loud thunder outside. It started to rain heavily.
-Hideki-
Rex snorted at the other man’s response to his provocation saying:”Don’t be fucking ridiculous whore! You know full well that I would have never listened to rubbish like that. Did you even have one fan who hadn’t been a teenage girl?” He sighed and then added, getting more serious than he had intended to:”I just thought that this stuff might have meant something to you, what was idiotic to think in the first place. Of course nothing has any meaning to a man to whom the own dignity and autonomy doesn’t mean shit.” The blond watched Micah sitting down next to him and the next thing he realised was that the ginger stared at him as if he was an alien. It was an unbelieving look in the others face and it irritated the security guard. “What?” he barked but the other continued looking at him as if he had found out Rex could do magic or some other absurd thing. “Don’t you understand that concept? Is it too hard for you to comprehend?” he asked and then started to explain it in a voice that he would use to explain it to a retarded person. “I am your guest. You invite me to dinner. That means I am in dept. Hence I will invite you to dinner and then we’re even. It’s commonly done that way, it’s the courtesy. Understood?” Rex couldn’t tell why the other actually was looking at him like that. He just thought that this whore didn’t think he was capable of following the etiquette and that he didn’t have a proper upbringing what bugged him a little. His explanation was ignored though and to his surprise the whore actually took the invitation. Was it really a surprise though? “I’ll pick you up at 7pm. I know where you live now anyway.” He decided and it was sure that he wouldn’t eat out at one of the restaurants in that district so they would either have to take the train or he would have to go and get his car from the garage in the rich peoples district. The kitten apparently understood him patting it as an invitation too, just that it hadn’t been one. It placed itself on the man’s lap. “Hey! Have I allowed you that? I think not!” he said followed by different commandos commonly used for dogs. The cat, of course, didn’t show any reaction to his orders though and when he put it down, it just came back and placed itself on his lap again. “You are an audacious and disobedient creature. You would be completely useless for detecting mines or finding a buried person.” He commented its behaviour and got interrupted by the whore’s question. “I’ll just wash my arms, hands and face before I eat and then I’m good. I’ll shower at home. You on the other hand should consider showering before cooking. After all you have been in that bordello even before my shift started and you ran around half naked the whole day.” He suggested and added:” Just so you know, you will be properly dressed tomorrow. They won’t even let you near the bloody restaurant dressed like that.” He heard the roaring thunder and saw the lightning outside the window and he felt this weird ease and admiration that he always felt at thunderstorms. While most kids were scared of thunder and lightning Rex had always loved it. He had run outside placing himself in the garden looking up into the sky. Once he had seen a lightning strike a tree, it had been fascinating. The blond had wanted to be just like the lightning, fast and efficient. His mother however hadn’t been happy about his fascination for storms and lightning and had always worried and had had her trouble getting the boy back inside again. Shicchan
Micah didn’t change his expression much at the way William spoke about his dignity. In fact, that seemed to be probably the most important thing to be taken care of in the blond’s mind. A man’s pride. A man’s honour. But honestly, what was that good for if it only kept them from doing what they really wanted? The ginger had aversion to need to take care of that. He hated the fact his past reputation was based on dignity and trust of a lie. It was so easy to tear that down yet people cared so much about it. To be honest, he was in a much better mind state now, selling his body and accepting that fact, than representing a public figure. He didn’t have to lie about his tastes. The sound of the rain helped calming him down. He never minded storms. He wasn’t expecting such an overreaction to a joke but it didn’t surprise him much. It was the grumpy guard he was dealing with. The younger male kept his calm expression on his face as he barked and nodded. “Yessir, 7 sounds perfect. And I do understand. I just didn’t expect you to be this polite with me”. Micah said sincerely. “I thank you for that”. Gabriel’s eyes went to his cat as it shamelessly demanded the other’s attention. Rachmaninoff gladly made himself comfortable in the big man’s lap, purring quietly as he was petted, seeming to be having a real good time. The sight of such contrasting moods, his kitten’s and William’s caused him to chuckle softly. If he still wrote songs, that relationship would be a perfect starting point. “Well, most certainly. But he’s an expert mice hunter”. The ginger thought to himself, smiling a bit then nodded at what the taller male spoke. “Alright. And yes, I really need a shower”, he said, getting up from the couch, feeling the day’s dirtiness start to bother him more. The second request made him smile again. Judging by that man’s first impressions, he would probably take him out of that district to eat. “Understood. I won’t wear work clothes at all. But do I need to put on a tuxedo? Or just formalwear?”, the ginger curiously asked.
-Hideki-
The ginger surprised him once again by thanking him. He didn’t expect that especially after he that "explanation" of his. “You don’t need to thank me, it’s just how it is done and I don’t accept being in dept to anyone, no matter who it is.” Rex replied and he had to admit to himself that he liked the ‘Yes Sir!’ since it had been a while anyone had ever said that to him now that he seemingly had no real authority anymore except for throwing scum out of a brothel. Rex smirked at the information of the cat being a decent hunter of mice. “With that profession he is more useful and talented than most people who live in this building I suppose.” He commented thinking about the noisy floor and the stench in that building. The blue eyes of the blond man now looked at Micah as if he was an alien. “You own a tuxedo?” he wanted to make sure he heard right but then shook his head a little. “Formalwear will be good enough.” When the other man had disappeared into the bathroom Rex stared out of the window watching the lightning, with the kitten still on his lap. It was an odd picture and if one side of his face hadn’t been black and blue and there hadn’t been blood on his face it had been an almost peaceful sign. The blond remembered different storms and how he had tried to take the best lightning pictures. He still had that photographic album somewhere, in which he had put only picture of decent storms. There were very few pictures that featured humans and those that did only showed Sebastian who had accompanied him on his mission of getting storm photos even though he hadn’t really been keen on standing in a storm. The security guard didn’t even realise when the owner of the apartment he was sitting in came back into the living room. He was just sitting there, staring at the storm smiling so in way that was happy and sad at the same time and that the security guard himself would have thought of as looking stupid. Shicchan
Micah smiled and nodded at his first affirmation then laughed at the second, even though he felt a little guilty about it. It was true he hated some of his neighbors but some of them have indeed been very nice to him when he moved in. Gabriel chuckled to see he has become a supernatural being in the other’s eyes the moment he said about the tuxedo. The ginger knew it was something weird for a prostitute to have something so expensive. But it wasn’t that weird for a former pop star to have at least two different ones. “Yes. I used to have more but I only kept my favorite one”, the young male replied then nodded. “Alright, formalwear it is”. He smiled then excused himself from the living room, walking into his bedroom. The ginger took a shower, washing his hair too. Gabriel hand’t closed the room door all the way so the perfume of his shampoo, soap and cologne could be faintly scented from where the blond was. It was a small apartment after all, and since it was raining, most part of the windows were closed. He put on a pair of black jeans and a dark green tight long sleeved shirt. The young male put his mess away and in no time he was back to where his guest waited, holding a clean towel on his arms to hand it to him. However, as soon as he got there, he was stopped by the sight of the smile on William’s face. It was so joyous yet sad at the same time… And also so vulnerable to see he could make an expression like that. The ginger could only stare at him, not really feeling like breaking that weird yet actually good moment. ‘He looks beautiful like that’, the former singer thought to himself. Micah didn’t want to startle him or wake up the beast again, so he simply walked up to the chair across from the couch and placed the towel over it’s back, pretending he saw nothing odd about the scene of that handsome man’s delicate expression. “Here's your clean towel. Second door on the left is the bathroom.” The ginger smiled. “I’ll start preparing our dinner”.
-Hideki-
It was the voice of Micah that brought his thoughts back to where he was but he looked a little out of place the first seconds regardless. When the ginger handed him the towel he sat the cat down, this time it had no chance of climbing right onto him again though because he stood now. He took the towel that was given to him and nodded when he took it. The blond disappeared in the bathroom and when he looked into the mirror he laughed. “Not bad! Not bad at all! Can’t wait to see your face you goofy arse bastard” was what he thought in regards to Peter and he cleaned his hands, arms and then his face that didn’t look just as savage anymore after the blood was gone. Since he wasn’t sure where to put the towel he just laid it on the radiator in the bathroom, he would make sure to inform the ginger about that of course. When he left the bathroom the smell of soap and shampoo got already overshadowed by the smell of meat. Rex felt his mouth watering. There were few things in life he couldn’t resist, steak was one of them. So instead of going back to the living room he found himself leaning in the doorframe of the kitchen watching the short red headed male preparing the food. It seemed like the other was actually good at cooking. “Where does a man like you learn how to cook? Didn’t you have staff who cooked for you?” he asked when his eyes got a hold of the perfect lightning scenery from the kitchen window. This was even better than in the living room. Rex went up to the window, pulled out his i-phone and when he opened the kitchen window a cold wind and some rain water smashed into his freshly cleaned face. Leaning out of the window a little he took some photos, the first storm photos that he had taken ever since that thing had happened and he had gotten the discharge. While he was at it he remembered the towel. “I put the towel onto the radiator because I didn’t know where else I should put it.” He informed the other and took some more photos. Shicchan
Before Micah started to cook, he filled Rachmaninoff’s bowls with water and food. The kitten must break Usain Bolt’s records every time he places those things down. Even though he feeds him very well, the fur ball is always in a constant starving state. The ginger is 200% sure he’ll become a fat cat once he grows up if he doesn’t teach him right. Gabriel tied his hair then washed his hands before beginning to prepare their dinner. All the nostalgia from today seemed to vanish as he focused all his attention on what his hands did. It felt great to be able to shut off from the world a little bit. He actually jumped when William spoke up out of nowhere and almost cut himself. He chuckled and looked back up at him. He had to do his best not to stare too much at the now cleaned face. It looked so much better without the dirt and blood. Just now he realized he didn’t offer any kind of help for the swollen… “Well, more or less”, the younger male smiled. “I had people to cook for me but I wanted to learn how to do it myself. And this is something I actually enjoy doing”, he explained. “Would you like to try it?”, the ginger curiously asked.
-Hideki-
Rex’s eyes widened in surprised and he stood still for a moment. Then he came completely back into the kitchen, closing the window behind him. Just from leaning outside his hair, his face and his chest was completely drenched. It was a proper storm indeed. The blond turned around and looked at the ginger. “So someone like you actually has genuine interests and things that he enjoys, other than whoring around!? Who would have thought?” his deep voice sounded through the room. “So you enjoy cooking! Anything else that interests you?” he asked curious as to whether he would get a serious answer to that or not. The security guard put back his i-phone after he had checked the photos that he had taken from the storm, a big smirk forming on his face at Micah’s question. He chuckled, when he said:”Funny that you think that I would develop a sudden interest in cooking after I couldn’t be bothered for 34 years. If I didn’t know who you are and what you do for a living I would have thought that you were quite naive for thinking that.” The former major general never had been bothered with preparing food and he never had had to cook. Hunting food, yes! Eviscerating it, yes! Actually turning it into a meal, no! His mother had been a quite traditional lady who neither had tolerated Rex’s fathers presents in the kitchen nor the presents of her son. She had been certain that Rex would marry a decent woman – with what she meant someone with the same values she had- who would cook for him happily. Little had she known that her son had been picturing himself with whom she believed to be his best friend and that they had had already been together at that time. The two had been lucky enough that Sebastian had known how to cook decently though. Both of his parents could cook and both of them had taught him different dishes. However Sebastian hadn't done as Rex’s mother had pictured the security guards wife, he hadn't served him his meals. It was more like Sebastian ordered him around to help with little things so that he hadn't been a complete waste of space in the kitchen. Hence Rex had learned to properly cut ingredients and how an automatic dishwasher worked. It had been ironic in Sebastian’s eyes that Rex could deconstruct a tank or any weapon there was and could put it back together again but hadn’t been able to use an automatic dishwasher. The other things the blond man was very able to do were BBQ’s and preparing meat since his father had shown him that at a very young age already. Still amused he placed himself next to Micah and looked him over the shoulder what wasn’t very hard considering the almost ridiculous height difference between the two of them. Rex was a particularly tall guy and Micah was a particularly short guy, it looked odd. “I have plenty of interests but cooking will never be one of it. I can help you though, that’s not a problem.” He informed the other and wanted to grab one of the onions at the same time the ginger tried the same and his huge hand closed itself around the others. It took him a second to realise that, then he removed his hand, going for another onion acting as if that hadn’t just happened.
Shicchan
Gabriel turned his head to look at the taller male and widened his eyes a little bit at the drenched figure. What the hell was he doing? The ginger ended up chuckling softly at the whole thing, question, looks of the wet security plus his cynical way of denying he actually had interest. He was enjoying to spend this time with William. “Well, of course. I do love cock, shaking my ass around and stuff but that can’t be the one and only interest in someone’s life~”, the short male started and grinned playfully before turning back to add a little bit of pepper to their meat, just to give some flavor to it. “Other than cooking, I like listening to music, reading the newspaper or novels, playing with Rachmaninoff and…”, he trailed off a little bit, his voice getting very slightly less cheerful. “Singing and playing the guitar too”. He finished then started to get started with the onions. “How about yours?”, the boy curiously asked, wanting to know if he would be more willing to talk about himself. It had been two days since he last touched his acoustic guitar. That and his voice were the only things he couldn’t get rid of when he changed his lifestyle. The string instrument was like an extension of his own body and he just couldn’t let it go. He did throw it away once but he couldn’t stand seeing the dark wood guitar next to the trash can. Nor could he see it in just some random person’s hands, which impelled him from selling it. The money he would make out of it wouldn’t be much so there was no point in doing so. The ginger decided to just let it locked in his closet and only get it when he /really/ needed it. “Aw, but cooking can be fun!”, Gabriel smiled happily, glancing up at the giant behind him. He really had to tilt his head up to find his face and it was kind of silly. He felt shorter than usual and it amazed him a bit. When he was looking up, the now petite-feeling male was surprised by a slightly wet yet warm sensation around his hand and it made him glance down. Gabriel parted his lips to comment something about that but he decided against it and simply appreciate and do his quick observations. Not only his height was impressive but his hands too. It felt kind of rough but pretty gentle at the same time. Oh, and wet but blame it on the storm. A small chuckle left his mouth, of course, that meant nothing. As usual, he tended to romanticise things too much and that was usually one of the main reasons for all the biggest troubles he had in his life. Trusting too much, loving too much, feeling more than necessary, overthinking. Micah smiled politely and showed the blond how to cut the onions properly, without making it let out making them cry. “So, uhm… May I ask what were you doing sticking yourself out of the window?”, he asked, wanting to think of something else. {I finally drew Peter! Hope you like it and sorry for the delay x.x}
-Hideki-
When Micah started to answer him he was almost certain that nothing serious would come from that and that the whole answer would circle around dicks and sex but it turned into a serious answer after all. Rex examined the other while he was talking and it was interesting to see that he apparently still had a desire to be a musician and to compose music. He also wouldn’t have thought that whores read the news. Overall the other seemed more normal than the security guard would have ever imagined. All he had been able to see was a cum-dumpster without honour and dignity, someone loathsome and disgusting, lower than normal people but staying in the whore’s apartment and actually talking to him challenged his view to a degree. “I see. So your music does have meaning to you after all.” He acknowledged and looked the other man into his eyes. “If you made music for the music’s sake and not just for the fame, the attention and a promiscuous lifestyle, there is no reason to not start making music on a professional level again is there? No one can stop you from that or forbid you to get back into this business again instead of spreading your arse like pathetic vermin for some degenerated pieces of trash every night.” The man said and it was his version of a positive, motivational speech. But it was true. There was no one who could permanently ban someone from making music and publishing it. Micah’s situation was different from his own. Rex would have gone back into the Army in a heartbeat if they would just allow him to, no matter what some would be thinking about him then. But he wasn’t allowed. A dishonourably discharged man would never be taken back. He would never ever be in the Army again. He could try entering the police force under the name William Brix but he thought about himself as too old to start from zero and to be able to gain a position with influence fast enough from there. His question was returned to him by the younger man and Rex hesitated to answer. He didn’t really want to have anyone knowing anything about him but since Micah had been honest with him and had answered his question he thought it would be only fair to return the favour. “I like hunting, weapons, driving my car, law and order, outdoor activities, extreme weather and hiking.” The blond let the other know. He also had liked collecting comic books and playing video games but he had shared those interests only with Sebastian and he didn’t feel like doing them alone so he had dropped them. Actually he couldn’t bear staying in his new apartment more than necessary at all. At the gingers comment that cooking could be fun Rex snorted when he said:”Debatable!” not thinking about it any further. But after their hands had touched and the other started to chuckle he knew that he had realised it – of course he had how would he not realise Rex’s hand grabbing his- and in that moment he wanted to know what was on the others mind now. Not knowing whether Micah thought that he had done that on purpose or not made him feel somewhat uncomfortable but saying anything along the lines of ‘I didn’t mean to I wanted to grab the onion’ along with an obligatory insult would only make it suspicious. So he didn’t do anything, just stoically cutting the onions how the shorter man told him to. He knew how to do it himself, thanks to his former partner, but he let Micah show him regardless and it actually reminded him a little of Sebastian. Not completely though as they were absolutely different people who had nothing in common but the fact that both could cook. The following question was a little weird in his eyes but he answered regardless:” I took photos of the storm, obviously.” Then he ignored the onion he was cutting and put away the knife to show the younger man the photos he had just taken. “It’s a great storm, truly beautiful!” he commented while he scrolled through the pictures. [[ Yes, I like it a lot. It looks great and you really pictured him how I had imagined him =) ]]
Shicchan
Gabriel was very surprised to hear William’s opinion. He really thought the other would simply do a rude comment and don’t reply to any of his questions but in fact, it was quite the opposite. The blond man actually encouraged him to do music again. The ginger smiled to himself at his words, feeling touched by them. He was the first person ever since he moved into this neighborhood and lifestyle who told him that. And he was really happy about it. Even though the thought of starting from zero seemed terrifying he wouldn’t lie and say he didn’t consider it after the way the grumpy security guard spoke. Micah had been complicating things in order to find an excuse not to face his fears. Again. He didn’t want to be judged like he was before. He didn’t want to hurt himself like it has happened before. And other than that, the ginger would have to rise with his name stained by his nowadays choices and past fuss. He was terrified and didn’t even want to think of it. Was chasing his “dream” really that important to make him go through all of that again? Was he worthy of being a public figure once more? Was he someone people should look up to? The gay slut singer? The cock-worshipper redhead? Lil’ ginger faggot? Or as William said himself before: the cum dumpster who can sing if he’s not choking on some man’s junk? Should he even be proud of that? He felt like his chest was being squeezed, just as if his own body wanted to suffocate him. Or in such a way he was being strangled by his thoughts. It did make the boy a little paler than usual as well as make him feel light headed but he didn’t want to let it show or affect his cooking. After all, they were both hungry and he should take care of his guest. This should be a pleasing night, not some tragic evening that would most certainly make their tomorrow date awkward as hell. The ginger took in a deep breath, filling his lungs with the nice smell of the food they were preparing and letting it stay in for some moments before exhaling, managing to calm himself down and cool his head to formulate his reply. “You’re right”, Gabriel agreed shortly but said nothing else about that subject, not feeling under disposition to do so right now. He looked up at him as he replied about his own interests, smiling as he finished speaking. The boy could totally picture the taller male doing all of those things perfectly well. “That sounds pretty cool”, he commented before turning back to the onions and consequently their hands. “You’re doing great!”, the smaller male complimented, happily. Gabriel looked up at him again as he replied to his question about the storm and smiled at the reply before glancing down at the screen and scooting closer to see the pictures. “These are beautiful pictures indeed. I’m not sure if I’d say the same about the storm in other conditions… But I guess I agree with you”, he chuckled. {I’m so glad you liked it!}
-Hideki-
Rex stopped and stared at the other for a moment when he said that he thought the blond was right. The only people who always seemed to agree with him were his two friends he always met in the pub. Everyone else disagreed with mostly everything that he had to say and he wouldn’t have expected the whore to simply agree with him, he had expected a cheap excuse, some witty but unserious response but not insight and self-reflection. What didn’t surprise him was his reaction regarding the storm. Most people liked the pictures he took, found them stunning to an extent but they didn’t share his passion for storms and lightning. He had yet to meet someone who did but actually he didn’t even care to as someone who wasn’t fond of storms and would still stand outside on a field in the middle of a storm just for him and because he liked them was much more precious. And he had once had such a person in his life. What could come after someone like that except for complete disappointment? The security guard laughed a short and dry laugh when he said:”People commonly don’t share my standpoint on storms, probably because they fail to see it how I see it.” He commented and turned back to the onion again. “A storm is pure power! It is fast, efficient, indestructible and unstoppable. The forces of nature are much stronger than a small human being, admirably strong.” Rex stated and cut the last onion. It didn’t take long for the dinner to be arranged on the table and the both of them were sitting opposite to one another. The blond man realised how hungry he was when the steak lay on the plate before him but he waited for his host to start eating first. While he was waiting his blue eyes looked into Micah’s green ones and he didn’t feel that disgust anymore. He didn’t really know whether that was good or bad because their relationship had clearly changed in the last hours and he wasn’t able to predict how it would be when they met at their work place the next time. Maybe he should have stayed in front of the others door after all. Everything would have stayed how it had been then but wasn’t it better this way? When the ginger had started to eat Rex took his first bite of the steak and it tasted well so he kept eating as if he hadn’t eaten in a month. The circumstances were a little odd though and there was this weird tension between them still. That this tension existed in the first place was Rex’s fault for degrading and insulting the younger man for month now and Micah’s for trying to constantly seduce him. “Why did you invite me to dinner?” he finally asked that one question that he couldn’t explain to himself. “You didn’t need to let me into your home and there is no reason why you would enjoy my company.”
Shicchan
The younger male listened to the description of the storm. In fact, he had never had that vision and after what he said, storms seemed slightly more interesting than before. He would start paying attention to that nature phenomenal every now and then. As they took their seats, the boy released his hair and smiled happily at the scent of their food. Only by smelling it, his stomach already made an impatient low grumble, causing the ginger to faintly blush. Micah suddenly felt a very strong glance from the other and tried not to mind it much, even though that was a tough thing to do. It was a different kind of feeling because it didn’t feel like he was giving the same kind of look he always has been. That sure was the first time the boy wasn't being looked down at by the security! Maybe not reacting to all the insults actually did have an effect on that angry hound, after all. Or maybe William just wanted to get lucky tonight. He averted his gaze from the blond and took the first bite, loving how the taste came out. Gabriel was proud of himself for being able to prepare steaks like those. Maybe the guard’s help did make a difference. Even if it was a silly thought, he didn’t mind having it. As once again the older spoke up, Gabriel looked at him, his eyes scanning the blond's features out of curiosity. He wouldn’t lie, that kind of question was not something he would expect but in fact, he didn’t mind replying to it. A small smirk formed on the ex-singer’s lips, he was enjoying to see the other change his own attitude or at least get a little bit bothered by it. “Why shouldn’t I have invited you in?”, he started. “First off, I wouldn’t like to be known as the bitch who made a man stand by his door for the whole night, under a storm. I’m not cruel and I never wanted to cause you harm. Second, I knew I would enjoy your company, after all, you’re nobody is only made of rage, right? Meeting new people can be exciting”, he smiled. “I felt you were nice, somehow. Call me stupid, whatever, but you can’t deny you didn’t have to encourage me to do music again, or even be polite and invite me out for dinner tomorrow”. Gabriel got that out of his chest and felt good for saying it. “Third, apparently you are enjoying yourself too. And maybe after tonight, you can see things a little bit differently. And so can I”. The ginger leaned a bit closer. “So, my turn. Why did you accept my invitation to come inside? Or why did you even suggest to come to my place after we got out of the bar?”, now those were things the younger male was curious about what kinds of answer he would get from William. Would he be serious? Would he just try to mask those things up with anger…? He really hopes he is honest but nobody is perfect. And truth can be hard to be told. -Hideki-
He actually stopped eating for a second while he tried to find a hint on the whore’s face that said that he was joking. The mere thought alone that this person was telling him right now that he had been able to see something nice in someone who constantly degraded and humiliated him was insane. Not even his former class mates or comrades had thought of Rex as nice or fun to be around and he hadn’t degraded or constantly insulted them. He also hadn’t been a raging mess back then but they still had felt he was cold, arrogant, distant, unlikeable and unable to bond with anyone. And at one point in school the blond had started to believe that himself. He had thought that he wasn’t able to connect and feel for others until he had gotten to know Sebastian, the only guy who had looked past how the Hutson’s son came across, that was. Then he had realised that he indeed was able to bond, even stronger and deeper than most people but that he needed a shit ton of time and an incredibly good reason to care for and trust a person. “Either you are an expert in knowing people and have an incredible insight and sensibility for them or you are indeed a naive idiot!” the security guard responded and thought about the last sentence in which Micah said that Rex was obviously enjoying himself. He wouldn’t go this far to say that he enjoyed himself but he couldn’t deny that this evening was one of the better ones that he had had for a long time. Usually he sat at home eating some meat while watching the news and staring at the old pictures and stuff he had drowned his apartment in and then he fell asleep on the sofa with the plate on his chest and with a feeling of rage and grief over his past life. This also was different than his little ranting club with his two friends he always met at the pub. While they sure were different people with different histories they had huge similarities and were actually encouraging each other in their cynicism and bitterness. So yes, maybe he was enjoying this to a degree but he wouldn’t ever acknowledge that. “I haven’t thought that actually. Since you tried to seduce me in the bordello all the time I thought that you simply wanted to defeat me, to expose me as a hypocrite, to win !” he let the other know. “You seem to be sincere now so I might consider the thought that maybe my analysis of this situation was flawed. However that would leave the question as to why you were trying to make me fuck you?” When the other asked him questions in return he sighed. Was that important? He looked at the clock and then ate another bit of his steak before he answered: “I accepted to come inside because otherwise I would have disciplined each and every one of your pathetic, lowlife neighbours one after the other!” Thinking about the behaviour and the noises on the floor made him mad and to not further think about those people he went to the other question he could only answer to an extent because he wasn’t that sure himself and he hadn’t think it completely through when he had made that suggestion. “Rage!” he said and then continued:” I needed to leave the bar but I still was on duty. I hadn’t planned where to go so the clearest solution would have been the bordello. But in the bordello there are plenty of disgusting pieces of garbage which would have furthered my rage, hence I thought standing alone in front of a door without any scumbag insulting my eyes would be the best way to get my shift over without breaking any more bones.”
Shicchan
The younger male smiled at the first blurt that came out of William. “I guess I’m an observant naïve idiot”, he declared after some comfortable reflective silence pause. Micah noticed the other didn’t enjoy to be read like that. He didn’t like to open up or didn’t really had someone to do so, and that would pretty much explain why the other is an ambulant rage hound, exploding in everything he does not like. The second statement made the prostitute raise his eyebrows. “Hey, not every single person in this neighborhood wants to see you suffer, you know? I’d thank if you reconsider your analysis”, he gave the tallest male a smile after that and chuckled as he thought about how stupidly sincere he was going to be. “Well, it will sound perfectly blunt but physically you’re totally my type~”, Micah replied, his olive eyes lowering a bit to the blond’s broad and muscular chest then back up at his face. “It's pretty natural to want to be fucked by someone handsome every now and then”. He winked, seductively yet playfully. Gabriel laughed at the security’s third answer. “Alright, that makes sense”, the shorter male agreed. There was no doubt, all of his neighbors would be completely devastated if they even breathed the same air as the guard’s at the corridor. “I’m very glad you took my invitation”, the ginger smiled happily up at him before taking another bite of the juicy meat. Once the diner was over, the host did as he was taught to and got both his and William’s plate and cutlery, then went to the kitchen after excusing himself. He didn’t want to make the other clean the dishes, that would be unnecessarily rude. So, as the younger scrubbed he asked to the older, “Hey, would you like to watch a movie or something? I’m sure there’s still plenty of time before your shift ends…”.
-Hideki-
Hearing that, the reality of things turned out to be much simpler than he had thought they had been. There had been quite a few other situations since his discharge in which he had misjudged the happenings and he probably needed to learn to be able to use another thought pattern because his new life and his new job had nothing to do with warfare. He was not at war with anyone at the bordello, not even the costumers he was supposed to watch and make sure they behaved. Rex needed to realise that he wasn’t fighting on an international stage anymore, that he didn’t need a defence and attack strategy for people he met. It was hard for him as all he knew was this! “This is indeed a plausible explanation, trivial and obscenely ordinary.” He replied to that and when he thought about it, it was perfectly normal to have a type, a preference. Most people had a type and everyone was a type. Hence, chances were high that Rex was someone’s type as well. The security guard wasn’t quite sure what type he was though. He was tall, he was muscular, he was blond, blue eyed and white skinned. The other could be attracted to him because he was tall or because he was blond or both or all of his features combined. “What type exactly do you see me as then?” he was a little curious, his blue eyes watching the other to think about what type the whore was but all he could think of seeing him was the word ‘twink’. The ex-military himself had never really developed a type. All the years he had spend with his former boyfriend he hadn’t even thought about other men and if someone would have asked what his type had been he would have said Sebastian was, but he had been an individual and not a phenotype. Maybe his type was individuals? Was that possible? Perhaps that was because he couldn’t be bothered before bonding anyway. Yes, he needed to find his partner aesthetic but he couldn’t think of what particularly he liked, he only knew what he didn’t like and didn’t find attractive instead. While he was thinking about that, way too seriously and too much, he smiled to himself when he remembered a little discussion he had had with his two friends from the pub one day when Roger, the young invalid veteran, had started to rant to them after his wife had left him and wanted him to sign the divorce papers and after he had been arrested for drinking in public and when confronted throwing the bottle against a religious building shouting that he had been fighting those terrorist pigs while the government let them spread their hateful propaganda in those buildings in his home country. “She wanted to marry me knowing my profession. We fucking married before I left because she wanted to commit to me before we would part ways. And when I returned this dumb cunt didn’t even want to get close to me anymore. She said me screaming in the night scarred her, she said I looked too “differently” meaning horrifying. No shit Sherlock, I would like to see if she looked any better if she had been blown apart like that, this disloyal whore. Instead of thanking me for my deeds to our nation she cheated on me with some damn street-artist hippie pussy, that has never done anything for society in his entire life. I wish I was gay too. I bet you would even have stayed by your boyfriend and loved him if his dick had been blown off completely, and this bitch complained about these few scars I have in that area now.” He had screamed so that the whole pub had heard it. No one had paid him any mind though as everyone had known raging Roger by then. Rex had nodded:”I sure would have loved him regardless, I still do!” And Roger had patted him on the back with his hand that had numb fingers that had been stitched back onto it and burned skin. The complete man had looked like a doll that had been shredded by a dog and then had been stitched back together. “You see man. That’s real loyalty. He can even love a dead guy. And your slut of a wife has left as well, where did she go again?” Jeff, the bald head with the red beard who had been a police man before had to make a lot of effort to keep calm. “If you’re ever going to call my beautiful, loving wife a slut again they will have to put you back together yet another time, Roger!” he growled and then added:” She never left me. I sent her and the kids away to her grandparents in Thailand because not only I am getting serious death threats but they do as well.” The oldest of them, with forty-six, had sighed and he knew that the young man had been a good guy usually and he could understand that he had been hurt deeply and that he had been disappointed and had felt not appreciated and validated as well. “Listen, you should sign those divorce paper. I know you’re trying to harm her but you’re only going to harm yourself in the long run. And you also don’t want to be gay, what you want is Rex, someone who loves you so much that he would murder for you, give everything up for you and could never be able to let go and stop grieving even after years of you being dead. And this is not healthy as well by the way!” Jeff’s green eyes had focussed on Rex then, who had pretended to not hear it. The former police man had sighed again and had then said that they both needed to carry on and should start seeing people and he had insisted on registering Roger on a dating website. And the blond had remembered that before he had wanted to leave for the gym, Jeff had read what the youngest of them had written out loud:” I don’t want a shallow dumb whore who has no backbone, loyalty and integrity. That will rule out 99,99% of you all I suppose. But if you aren’t a hippie fucking cunt, we can talk!” After the red beard had read that he had exclaimed:” That’s a joke and what is with all the swearing and insults? I supposed that’s even bad for online dating standards. God, I give up, do whatever you bloody wanker!” Rex started to chuckle now and then shook his head:” Sorry!” he said to Micah as starting to laugh without an explanation while eating wasn’t exactly polite. He kinda wanted to know whether the whore knew what kind of guy he would have wanted or looked for in his life or if he only knew what he didn’t want like Rex, so he might as well just ask. “If you hypothetically were looking for a partner, what kind of guy would you want? Look wise and personality wise?” he asked the other and raised his eyebrows awaiting the answer. Seeing that happy smile and hearing that the other was glad that he had taken his invitation was surprising and he didn’t know why but hearing that made him feel better than before for some reason. It was almost as if he was glad to have taken the invitation as well. “I like to hear that. I wouldn’t like to be a bad guest.” He commented rather quickly, staring somewhere behind the younger male. When the other left for the kitchen he just sat there and waited. It didn’t seem like he wanted him to help with the dishes, so he watched around a little in the apartment again. It was really neat and probably more orderly than his own because he had way too much stuff for an apartment that was as small as his. “It seems that we do.” Rex said regarding the time that was left and he looked at the other indifferently when he suggested a movie. The security guard wasn’t too fond of movies and most movies he couldn’t stand. “I’m not a fan of movies; I find most of them dull and tiring. But it’s your place, I’m the guest so if you want to see a movie, we can do that.” He said and then smirked widely before he added:” But it better not be that cheesy chick-flick you played the main character in. I had to go and see it back then and it probably had been the longest hour and forty-five minutes in my life.”
Shicchan
Micah smiled a bit at the first reply then raised an eyebrow at the type question. Was that guy blind or something? He had all the usual features people are attracted to. If he wasn’t so arrogant and angry, he would sure be have lots of men around him. No doubt what he said earlier that day that the people he had some intimate relationship with wanted it badly. The ginger didn’t think he was lying at that time. Maybe to those he actually opened up. Or at least put on a different mask. “Well, your physical type is manly, big strong and also with a pretty face. Kind of “James-Bondy” but without the English accent and humor”. The ginger chuckled at the comparison he came up with. The ginger found it fun to hear the other talk about things like relationships and types, because those things sounded like a foreign language coming out of William’s mouth. He couldn’t really picture the other being romantic towards anyone. Caring yes, but not romantic or affectionate. He wanted to see if that was possible, and he believed it was. Maybe he just needed more time, seeing the guard was so reserved. Gabriel was once again surprised by the other’s sudden smile and laughter. He wouldn’t lie, seeing him laugh like that was a very pleasing sight. It caught his attention. “It’s cool. Don’t apologize for laughing. It looks great on you”. The younger male said with a playful yet innocent smile. Was he hitting on him or something? Or did was William just kind of weird with his thought line? Well, whatever, he wanted to see where that subject would lead them to. Gabriel lightly bit on the corner of his lip bottom lip, feeling the thin metal around it as he thought of a reply. “It’s been quite a while since I last looked for a relationship, you know?”, he commented and raised his hand to his face, lightly tapping his index finger over his mouth. He wasn’t a picky person, and now that he was a male whore he didn’t have the right to be. But even before that, he always liked to have experiences with different people, who looked different, who acted different. Out of all the guys he dated, he found out his physical type was someone strong and taller than him. He loved to be hugged by someone bigger, or have to get on his tiptoes to make out with them. He liked people with who you could talk to for hours, or just be together in silence and simply enjoy that comfortably. The boy liked to listen to their stories. Ever since he moved to this district, he had had an open relationship with another prostitute. They were from the same area and when they didn’t have anything better to do, they would go to Jacob’s place and have some fun together. They were both pretty lonely at the time and Micah was still new to the prostitution. The dark head taught him a lot about how to have a professional attitude before clients and some precious tips for both sex and talking. Jacob was tall and had some muscles but nothing close to William’s shapes. Oh well, and his blowjobs were amazing too. He managed to get to his reply and decided to go for it. Even if it was hypothetically speaking, he wouldn’t miss the opportunity. The short male pulled his hand away and shrugged, smirking slightly. “Look wise: you’re my first choice, no doubt. Personality wise: I can’t say you because I don’t know you enough but we can always have more dinners~”, he replied, flirtatiously. The negative response to the flirting he already had, so there was nothing keeping him from trying. “You’re so polite”, he chuckled then followed the other’s eyes as he looked behind him. His first thought was that Rachmaninoff was climbing something he wasn’t supposed to. But he was not there. He decided to simply shrug it off and go clean the dishes. As they got back to the living room, the kitten showed up and took his seat on the couch, observing the two males as they talked, clearly wanting them to sit down and pet him. Gabriel took a sit on the couch beside his beloved feline and gave him what he wanted after motioning for William to get comfortable too and sit beside them. As he saw him smirk and bring up the subject about the movie he starred on, the ginger blushed visibly, getting clearly embarrassed. “Gah, I can’t believe you saw it too”, he chuckled and raised his free hand to his own red cheek, cupping it in a slightly shy manner. “No way we’re gonna watch that, nu uh, don’t worry.”, He laughed a little bit and sighed softly, his smile going back to his lips as he heard the soft purring. “We can just keep talking if you prefer that instead of watching movies, since you don’t really like them”, he smiled again, his blush would take a little while to go away. It was usually that way because his skin was rather fair. “As a host I’m supposed to make my guest feel comfortable, so”, he grinned. “You choose”. -Hideki-
Amusement made itself at home on Rex’s face when he heard the ginger comparing his looks to James Bond. The security guard would have never seen himself that way but he understood it as a compliment. James Bond was pretty much an icon commonly considered very attractive after all. Maybe the blond really was a commonly attractive man. He remembered that it hadn’t been a problem for him to walk into that bar and walk out with some guy who wanted to be ravaged by him really badly. Rex who had only done that twice and hadn’t liked it had thought that it just generally worked that way but perhaps someone who looked differently would have had it more difficult. The man had never thought about whether he was attractive or not. He had always trained his body for a completely different purpose and a general also hadn’t necessarily had to be attractive or have a handsome face. And because he had been with Sebastian since his early teens, long before they had even known how they would look as grown men, he had no real clue about the dating scenes and how men would respond to his looks and type. He hadn’t even bothered, so that was rather interesting to hear for him. Rex had certainly heard people telling him that he should smile more before but he had never been someone to smile and laugh too much around most people. He was mostly serious and his humour was dry and twisted. When the whore told him that he hadn’t been looking for a relationship since ages Rex knew that to him the amount of time would probably not sound that long after all. The answer he received after that drove the amusement out of him some more and he laughed again. “So grumpy humourless James Bond is your thing?” he said jokingly and then realised what the other had said about more dinners. Did he just say he wanted to get to know him? Rex was certain that that was what it meant but he didn’t thought it was a good idea to let someone get to know him. On the other hand he liked the thought of having dinner together because it was much healthier for his mind than getting enraged by the news, hating on the media and falling asleep on the sofa with a plate on his chest. One time he had woken up with ketchup all over his shirt and face and it hadn’t been a great experience for him, He decided to not say no but also don’t say yes, one other dinner they would have together anyway. Rex placed himself comfortably on the sofa next to Micah, not too close to the other but also not too far away from him, just like straight guys would do. Still smirking he looked at the kitten that was pampered by its owner for a moment and then up into Micah’s face that had turned into a tomato. “I wouldn’t have thought that there was something you would actually feel embarrassed about, I have never seen you blush before.” He teased the other and then informed the red head:” I haven’t only seen it I have seen its premier. I have two sisters and my youngest sister was head over heels for you. She was too young to see the movie alone so I had to accompany her. I swear I was the only dude in there who wasn’t there with his girlfriend. But my sister loved the movie. She also is the reason why I know about you being a musician. I wouldn’t have known about your past if it wasn’t for her.” Leaning back in the sofa some more and laying his arm on the backrest he looked at the younger male questioningly:”I wonder what she would say and how disappointed she would be if she learned that her first crush is not only gay but also a male whore.” And then he laughed dryly and cynically:”Not as disappointed and disgusted as if she knew that I was gay I suppose.” He had never told his family. There had been no way he could have disappointed them like that. It had been the only thing that Rex and Sebastian had fought over all the time and seriously. Sebastian’s parents had known, Rex’s had not and Rex had not wanted to tell them and that had hurt Sebastian who had been viewed as his childhood friend by Rex’s parents and family. The last time they had fought over that the other had told the ex-military that he didn’t want to be that person he was ashamed of in front of his parents and that he wanted to get married if it would ever become legal in their state and that Rex would have to decide between the closet and him if that day were to come. What had led the blond to hope, against his own view, that gay marriage wouldn’t become legal in their state and he had felt damn bad and guilty about it because he had acted like a coward just to not tell his parents. But he had just felt unable to trust his parents with that. Both of them were against gay people marring and his father had actually advocated against gay men in the army as well. When Rex had been seventeen he had heard his parents talking about those subjects in front of the kids and his father had said that he didn’t care where those abnormal perverts would put their dicks into but he didn’t want those people in the army nor could one call that perversion a marriage. His mother had agreed and Rex had felt awful after that knowing that he was some disgusting pervert in their eyes. Hence he couldn’t have told them because he didn’t want them to see him like that, to have that picture about him in their heads whenever they thought about their son. He had tried to tell Sebastian that it didn’t matter and that neither his parents knowing or him marrying him would have changed their relationship but Sebastian had insisted that it made a huge difference because it would mean that Rex would claim him and their relationship publically and not only behind closed doors as something shameful. And when Sebastian had passed, before marriage for them had become legal, Rex had regretted not owning up to their relationship and himself. He had felt like a piece of shit because of this, standing at the funeral as a “friend” next to Sebastian’s friends and no one could understand how much the death of him had devastated him. When gay marriage had become legal then he had already been discharged and the blond had been so miserable and hadn’t been able to bear the pain that thinking about Sebastian and his regrets had made him drink on that day until he nearly had had an alcohol intoxication and he had spent the whole following day throwing up wishing he was dead also. Being told that he could decide what to do he thought about it for a moment. He didn’t like movies but he wasn’t the greatest talker on earth and chances of long periods of silence were high so he thought of an alternative, a compromise between movie and nothing. The security grabbed the remote control and turned on the TV searching for a documentary. He found one about polar bears that would be followed by one about battle ships and laid down the remote control again. His eyes watched the polar bears on the screen but he didn’t really listen and after only a short amount of time he turned to the ginger again, his face now rather serious, he sighed and then wanted to know:” Do your parents and your family know that you are gay? They don’t know what you do for a living do they?”
Shicchan
He actually laughed at the way the guard described his type. “Well, I can’t help finding it sexy, hun”, Gabriel playfully winked then smiled softly. “My turn to ask, how about you? Do you have a specific type? Or some characteristics you’re attracted to and would like your partner to have?”. Micah was pretty curious about that. What would the other’s taste be, regarding love and sex? “And what would you say about me? In what kind of category would I be in?”, the ginger asked, wanting to fully explore the opportunity to extract those informations from William. In fact, he didn’t really mind if the other said something rude. He was pretty self confident about sensuality and beauty. Micah had to shape his whore character, so if he would describe himself as a sex worker: slutty, fake-innocent and teasing were his top three adjectives. But as a regular man, maybe talkative, energetic and… Caring? As they moved to the couch, the boy wouldn’t have minded if the blond sat closer to him. He was someone who enjoyed touch and closeness. “Oh my fucking God!”, the short male exclaimed, seemed to be wanting to hide himself under a blanket at the time he said he went to the fucking premiere of his movie, “I'm so so sorry for your lost time and spent money!”, the ginger apologized and chuckled, trying to get less embarrassed. “I'd pay to see your face along the session, though. It must’ve been a spectacle”, he grinned, with pink cheeks. “Feel special, only a few have seen me blush”, the younger male said sincerely. “I don’t like to see myself through video. And even more one in which I even try to act. It’s just too shitty”, he said, scratching Rachmaninoff’s belly as he turned around, waiting for Micah to do so. As he heard about William’s sisters, he raised his eyebrows then smiled softly, chuckling once again, not as nervously as before. “Oh well, it makes sense. It was a real mystery to me why the hell did you know me as a singer.”, the freckled boy admitted then confessed. “I think you, out of all people I know, would be the one with the littlest chance to have this kind of information.” Gabriel felt like averting his gaze in slight shame as the guard spoke about the disappointment of a fan but he didn’t even have time to get sad because of William’s last words. His olive eyes went back up to his face, examining the Grumpy-Bond with attention and actual worry. The sudden realization that the other must’ve been through some rough times with his family because of his sexuality struck him. Even though the blond was a totally different person from himself, they had that in common: being gay. He knew how harsh it was to be raised by a family who does not support their children’s choices. And judging from the over reserved man he is nowadays, there’s almost no doubt his case might’ve been similar to his own. The prostitute felt more empathy with William as they kept talking. It felt very comforting in its own crooked way to know that he wasn’t alone in some kind of matters in the place they were right now. Even if they have different ways of dealing with stuff, they’ve been through similar shit. He knew that even though he wasn’t aware of the whole story. Gabriel could tell they were. The boy didn’t look away from him as he turned to glance to the TV as he changed channels. Micah didn’t even notice the polar bears on the screen at first because of his immersion in his own thoughts. What brought him back were the next questions coming from the security, his eyes meeting up the other’s blue ones, returning the seriousness after hearing what he wanted to know. That was a subject he hated talking about but hey, talking through usually helps to make it lighter. But he never really had anyone to talk to. Not about that. However, something told the short male to just open up. And he did after a small pause. “They do know that I’m gay. But two things: they never accepted and they have no idea of how I’ve been doing for the past five years.” The ginger male replied objectively to the questions. “Being a prostitute would not shock them as much as the thought of their son willingly kissing another guy.” He sighed making a pause to look down at Rach, who seemed to notice his owner’s change of mood and nuzzled affectionately against his hands. Micah smiled a little bit at that, it soothed him a bit. “To make a long story short, because I don’t want to bother you: my parents caught my ex and I cuddling once. They threatened to throw me out of their house if anything else happened. I knew I wouldn’t be able to handle it anymore, so I ran away with him and joined the music career. I got lucky and got a contract with a producer that told me never to reveal my sexuality in public, because hey, most of your fans will be ladies and they can’t be deluded.” He never really liked to use sarcasm but he couldn’t control his anger about this whole thing and it just came out shaped as harsh irony. “I signed it and my ex got very angry about that but he tried to digest this. My career started to get better and better and my relationship with him got more turbulent until he exploded and showed to the world that I liked the D”. Gabriel exhaled and stroked the top of the kitten’s head not wanting to get in more details than necessary. If William asked, he would describe better but… He didn’t really want to. “After that, no more contracts, no more jobs, haters all over and I had to make money… So now here I am”. The ginger boy concluded, forcing a small smile to try keeping himself cool. He already felt lighter about telling this to someone else. It hurt less than going over his mind alone. Gabriel had wondered before how would things turn out if he had been the straight guy his family wanted. His life would have never turned out the way it did. Gabriel would’ve been a business man or something, have a wife, probably some kids and cats, go to church every Sunday then talk politics with his father while the women cook for them, forcefully laugh at their stupid jokes… Even though that was tedious, it was certainly safer. Yet obviously unhappier.
-Hideki-
Rex raised one eyebrow and smirked at the other finding his grumpiness sexy, this guy really wasn’t normal after all. His face turned serious again when the whore returned the question and he scratched his chin thinking about it once more but all that came to his mind was Sebastian’s face again, his smile, his body and that weird indefinable hair colour that he had liked a lot. The blond shook his head:”Not that I know of. There is no specific phenotype.” He answered shortly. The other question he could answer better though. “Discipline, devotion, loyalty, sincerity, honour and dignity. Those are characteristics I consider desirable.” He also liked a certain obedience in bed coming from a confident and strong personality. Rex wasn’t into those weird masochistic or insecure dudes and he also wasn’t a sadist even though he liked being obeyed. For him this went far beyond a type though and was something he wouldn’t speak about or say out loud to anyone. The ex-military laughed when the ginger asked him about what type he was. “Twink!” he said the first word that came to his mind and then added some more:”Also lewd as well as oddly optimistic and philanthropic for a whore.” He really couldn’t wrap his head around that guy and he couldn’t understand how someone who had sank that low could sit there smiling in such a light way. If he would have been in the same situation all people, humankind in itself would have only disgusted him, well, most of them already disgusted him anyway. Sitting on the sofa he snorted and laughed at the same time looking into the red face of the younger male. It was interesting to know that, more than in one way and it also showed another misjudgement Rex had previously made about Micah. “So you’re not as narcissistic as I’ve thought. I would have bet that you were the type who loved seeing himself on the TV screen or on posters or anywhere really. Maybe you aren’t as self absorbed after all. Your acting is indeed shit though regardless of the fact that my sisters said something else. It seems like the ‘love’ of a teenage girl is too blind to detect lousy acting.” He nodded when the other said he was the last person he would have guessed to know about his past and it was true. “I am indeed the least likely person to know and yet I seem to be the only one who does in that filthy bordello.” Rex said a little absent-minded and it was indeed ironic. The whole situation he was in was ironic. Him being in such a district, working at a brothel and spending his night sitting on the sofa next to a prostitute while staring at polar bears on screen. After he had asked that rather personal question there was silence in the room and he didn’t expect the other to answer anymore. And it was understandable as it was something private after all. The blond shouldn’t have asked that in the first place and he wasn’t sure why he had. What would it change if he knew how Micah had dealt with it? It wouldn’t change his past, it wouldn’t help him anymore. Maybe he should have asked someone else about that years ago when it was relevant. He never had so why now? He turned his face away from the fighting polar bears on the screen when he suddenly heard the others voice speaking and actually answering him. Rex listened and he laughed joylessly hearing what the other said about being a prostitute wouldn’t be as bad for his parents as voluntarily loving or being physical with another man. He could understand what kind of mindset was behind it but thinking about his own parents it was different. They would already be shocked, grossed out and ashamed if they knew he was working in a bordello as a security guy. But being a “perverted sicko” would be worse for them than that though, definitely. “Mine don’t know. My mother would get a heart attack and my father would die of high blood pressure because he would get that angry.” He commented trying to sound apathetic but not wholly managing to. There were relatable parts in the story of the ginger and he couldn’t really believe that he could in any possible way relate to someone like him. He didn’t know if that made him mad or happy but at least it made him feel less alone even though that was an illusion, a betraying feeling, he knew that much. “If my parents had caught me being affectionate with my boyfriend it would have been my ticket to conversion therapy camp.” The older man told the other thinking about his teenage years. Whenever he and Sebastian had spent the vacation together at his place he had been extremely cautious and as soon as he had heard footsteps on the floor he had jumped to the other side of the bed and had shoved Sebastian away who always had that hurt expression in his eyes. But the most time they had been in the military school which had been an all boys residential school anyway. “I went to a residential school though and wasn’t at home much. My boyfriend and I would hide in the equipment room of the gym or the broom cabinet to be intimate. If someone of the teachers would have found out we would have been expelled immediately. So when out of all people my rival caught us it had to get ugly somehow.” He told the other not really knowing which reason he had for sharing those old stories. “The best time during my teenage years were when I could spend the vacations at my boyfriends place. His parents were good people and they didn’t even treat me differently when they found out that we were actually more than friends because he had told them. I actually came to like them even though their accents were weird to me at first, I still talk to them sometimes.” Rex kept talking but after the words had left his mouth he knew that the last sentence had been too much so he decided to shut it already and not reveal more than he already had. “Your ex is pathetic vermin and a traitor in a sense; if you’ll ever see him again, give him a strong and great punch in the face from me with all my best wishes.” He said shaking his head. People like this he couldn’t stand. To him acting that way, destroying someone’s life in such a devious way out of such motives was something only lowlifes would do. Pausing a while and seeing that the polar bear documentary had come to an end and the battle ships were on, he turned his body around to the ginger examining him closely. “But not that way! Why despite all the upright jobs you could have done have you chosen to do that to yourself for money?” he wanted to know and this was yet another very intrusive question. Shicchan
“Those traits really suit you”, Gabriel admitted with a chuckle. The ginger male wasn’t surprised at the other’s taste in personality. It pretty much matched what he knew of William so far: he liked order. It was no surprise that trace was strong enough to guide what he found respectful and attractive on people. His curious and rather dirty mind couldn’t help but imagine how would that righteous person be during sex. The thought made the younger male smirk a bit and get more willing to sleep with him. Micah burst out in laughter as he heard the other categorize him as a twink. Indeed, he wasn’t hurt by that at all and had more fun than he expected with that guy’s answer. He took in a deep breath and calmed down, looking up at him with an amused smiled. “Well, thank you, Mr.Bond.” It was very cool to be recognized for his “philanthropic-ness” and optimism rather than for his ass or fellatio. That satisfied him more than expected. The shorter male was still recovering from the embarrassment, so his skin was starting to go back to its usual fairness. Gabriel chuckled and nodded. “In fact, I used to be pretty embarrassed about playing in front of any other people other than myself.” He commented, sincerely. Maybe because he has never really been encouraged do music, his mind associated it to something he’s supposed to be ashamed of. “I’m glad you changed your mind about that, though”, he grinned and chuckled again. “Love for an idol sure makes people blinder than usual. You’re totally right about my acting”. He smiled and nodded. It was indeed a fun fact that the only one who knew about his past career was William, the most likely to know anything about it. He was mentally thanking the guard’s sister for being a fan. This is being an important topic in their night. After telling him the story, the younger male wasn’t capable of hiding the discomfort feelings he still had for that. He became a little blue but didn’t have any kind of breakdown. He looked at William and smiled with the corner of his mouth in compassion to what he joylessly laughed about. Gabriel’s green eyes widened as he heard the blond’s parents had no clue of his sexuality. He was surprised in a saddened way. The reason why he didn’t tell them was understandable, though. That made the ginger wonder about what would have been like if his own parents had never caught him. Maybe they would still not know until the present moment and he would be in the same situation as the blond. “That's really tough yet I understand”. He commented. The younger frowned and made a disgusted expression at the mention of the “conversion therapy”. Micah had thought about that when he was debating if he should run away or now. And that was surely something that helped him make the runaway decision. As the older male started to speak about his ex’s parents, a little smile formed on the boy’s lips. From the way he spoke about it, that place must’ve been a very special one. He knew the feeling of being safe to be affectionate with the one he’s in love with. It was great. And very valuable. He tilted his head a little to the side as he changed subjects abruptly. By now Micah was sure the other didn’t enjoy talking about himself or letting someone else know about him through his own words. He chuckled kind of emotionlessly at the mention of his ex. “I’ll make sure to do so. Thanks for the support~”, Micah winked and shifted on the couch, letting both of his legs rest on the soft pillows, folded not to occupy much space. Rachmaninoff didn't enjoy the change and moved to the security's warmth, getting up on his lap and curling up, without making any ceremony. That made the ginger smile. Gabriel got curious as the other watched him so intensely. He followed his gaze with curiosity and almost innocence, not figuring what he was about to ask until he finally did. The prostitute sighed and opened up a small smile. “I was desperate and clueless of what I was supposed to do after the motherfucker did that. “It was during a party a crazed gay fan walked up to me and asked if I would let him kiss me if he gave me some money. I refused but he was forceful and I decided to just go with the flow and see how it turned out.” He scratched the back of his head. “After that time, the younger me thought it would be a great thing to make some money that way, and I did but never stopped looking for… Upright jobs”. “After some time, I realized that I wouldn’t be able to get in any kind of job aside from those semi-prostitution ones. No one wanted to see Aarin(his last name and artistic name) around. So I had to disappear to be able to make a living and the easiest way to do so was by creating someone else: Micah, a male whore.” He explained. “At first, I wasn’t comfortable and got to a point I tried a lot of things to get out of prostitution. But it’s incredibly hard. I was never able to no matter how much I wanted or attempted to.” Gabriel was serious about that. “Gradually I became used to the routine. It isn’t that bad as long as you’re respectful with yourself. And have a great sense of maturity.” The younger male concluded. He opened up a small smile. “Are there more things you’d like to know?”, the short male curiously asked. “And… Would it be okay if I asked about you too?”, The younger male questioned.
