Name: Tyres Östlund.

Age: 26.

Occupation: Thief / part-time worker in an anime/cosplay shop.

Tyres was just hanging out at a party that he got invited to. The people there somewhat knew him but not that well as if he was some kind of ghost that appeared here and there. The music was playing those electronic beats one could hear at a club, the volume of it was standing almost at its maximum. Making the floor tremble a little once you got close to the speakers. On the opposite room of where the dancing took place was the kitchen which was filled with all kinds of food. From burgers to sandwiches to chocolate cakes. One could get sick from eating it all.

Standing in a corner near a window, he held a cup of alcohol in his hand. He was already drunk but didn't feel like quitting it. It felt good and this way he didn't need to think about anything and just had a nice time. The time already struck two in the morning. Making him start to feel it as he was up early today. His eyes were half open as he stood there. Some girls asked him to dance which he agreed with but not for long as he got dizzy after all that alcohol. He breathed deeply in and out before he drank the last drop of his cup.

But then as if it was meant to be, the police could be heard outside. He groaned and got out of the house which was not an easy thing to do with people pushing and running around like mad men. Once he got some fresh air, he felt a little better but then he was grabbed by the arm by one of the police men who didn't think this was funny. Well, perhaps they could've turned down the volume so they wouldn't disturb the neighbourhood but that was not up to him. He chuckled and went along with what they wanted.

Once he sat down in the police car, he sighed. Leaning his head against the window as he saw some other people getting caught and put in the cars. There was one other person next to him who was still somewhat sober. Bad luck. Not that long after when there was nobody to be seen anymore they drove off to the police station. Stumbling through the corridors before he got locked up in one of those tiny prison cells. At least he was allowed to use the bathroom before he went inside. A bit of smooth talking mostly worked.

He laid down on one of the beds that were in there and gazed at the ceiling. It was not good that he was caught but they didn't seem to have noticed who he truly was. Perhaps his disguise was too good to be true. He chuckled at the thought of it. But he knew that someday someone would get to know his true identity which would be a hassle. Because of that, he couldn't get really close to someone as humans couldn't be trusted. Well most of them. His mother would never betray him as she didn't want for him to get into trouble.

Soon enough he dazed off into a deep sleep. One of the best ones he recently had.

Once morning arrived, he heard something clashing against the iron bars. Making him wake up in annoyance but then realized where he was again. He sluggishly got up and went to the police man who called for his name. He just had to fill in some papers and wait on a chair before he was allowed to get back to his life. With dark bags under his eyes he did what he was told and started to wake up. The headache however was truly the worst. He should've quit drinking sooner...

Name: Aiden Debois

Age: 31

Occupation: Police Inspector

There was never time to slack off at the station, Aiden knew that all to well, but still, he naively hoped today would be different. He woke up with a horrible headache that even two cups of coffee couldn't soften. Ever since he became Inspector and took on all those hours, he couldn't get rid of the headaches. Today was even worse than usual.

When he entered his office, stacks of papers awaited him and he knew he will be here late again. Aiden was pretty strict when it came to work and he didn't let his colleagues at the station mess around too much. But he also knew most have families so he often did some of their work too. He didn't have anyone waiting for him at home and he knew the others appreciated what he did. They were a team and they had each other's backs. Too much work was starting to get to him though.

Being an Inspector wasn't all that fun he hoped it would be. Too much paperwork and too little action. If anyone would warn him about that, when he decided he'll be a cop, he might just reconsider his career choice. But now he was here and he will do his best, like always.

He sat down on his comfty chair - he had the old one replaced when he got the office - and started shuffling through the papers. When he first entered the office, it was a battlefield. The previous Inspector wasn't really a fan of paperwork, so he mostly just made huge piles of paper until you could barerly move around. It took Aiden a week to sort everything out and since then, he kept the place orderly and tried to do all of his work on time. There weren't many private things in his office, except his diploma and some plaques he got for his work. The chair was probably the most expensive thing in there. It was all black leather, big and really comfortable. Aiden needed it, given the amount of time he spent sitting these days.

The headache was getting worse, if that's even possible, making letters he was looking at get all blurry and so Aiden drifted off. There was a window opposite of Aiden's desk through which he could see all that was happening in the station. He arrived before the night shift ended and the morning one started, so now he watched as the place filled up with cops. The usual chit chater started - phones ringing, criminals being brought in and Aiden wished he was out there instead of being closed in an office. He sometimes felt like he was loosing contact with everyone.

There was a knock on the door which brought Aiden back from his thoughts. "Come in." On his order the door opened and revealed a petit redhead, who was currently working as a secretary for half the station, instead of just him. Budget cuts didn't allow enough personel. “Good morning Inspector. I made some fresh coffee, want me to bring you a cup?" She blushed a little asking that and couldn't really look the man in the eye. Aiden always thought her shyness cute. "Coffee is just what I need now Cloe, thank you! But you have enough work as it is, I think I'm gonna stretch a little and go fetch it myself." He was already staying up while saying that and Cloe backed a little. "O-ok Inspector. Call me if you need anything." With that, she was out of the office, hurrying to her desk. Aiden couldn't help but smile.

While he was walking to the kitchen, he made sure he greeted everyone and chated with few people, getting the information on everything new that was going on. The night shift had a pretty busy night, chrashing a party and aresting some trouble makers. That meant there will be even more papers to file today and Aiden groaned invardly. When he passed the prison cells, he made eye contact with eyes almost the same color as his, only a shade darker blue. He felt his stomach clutch and decided it was probably because he hadn't eaten today.

In the kitchen, there were a few other cops enjoying the freshly made coffee and Aiden greeted them before picking up his cup and pouring the coffee in. When he tasted the black liquid on his tounge he almost purred. Cloe really did know how to make the best coffee. Raising a cup to take another sip, it hit him. Those eyes. He knew those eyes.

There was suddenly a ruckus around him and as he looked around, he saw that he dropped the cup and now the coffee was everywhere. Everyone was worried and wanted him to sit down, but Aiden had other things he needed to do. He gave a short explanation that his headache suddenly got worse, but no one seemed convinced so he made an excuse that he needed to change into a clean uniform and rushed out of the kitchen.

He hurried in the office to check the records, but the name he was looking for wasn’t there. Apparently they didn’t know his name yet or maybe he was wrong and the guy he saw wasn’t him. Aiden needed to make sure his name never goes in the records, but first, he needed to see if he was right, if that guy really is Tyres.

Changed into fresh clothes, he walked towards one of the cops, telling him he will help with the interrogations. Aiden didn’t dare to go get the prisoner himself, in case Tyres recognized him. He rather waited in the interrogation room until the prisoner was brought to him.

Aiden sat on the chair waiting for what seemed like eternity, getting more nervous with each passing second. Will Tyres even remember him? Will he remember their promise? And then the door opened.

The chit chatting between the several officers made him silently listen in. There was nothing interesting to actually keep in mind which was a good thing. Him not being suspected of anything else was nice, but he couldn’t help but to feel a little anxious about this. After all, if he would get him, he would need to get out of there as soon as possible. He wasn’t afraid to use a little violence either as long as it would make him stay from behind the bars. He laid his head against the cold brick wall behind him. It felt good, making his headache calm down a little so he could think better.

The smell of freshly baked sweets for breakfast and coffee made its way throughout the hall. Making him hunger for it. He hadn’t eaten since 6pm the day before so he seriously needed something to chew on. Even a small sandwich would make do but since he was not in any position to demand anything, he was sure he wouldn’t get anything to stop his stomach from growling. He let out a deep sigh as he rested one hand on top of him while the other was put on a small part of his chair. His fingers tapping against the wood as he waited for his turn patiently.

He couldn’t get caught now, not since he needed to go to work this evening. He couldn’t just stand his partners up after all the planning they did. But him going to a party last night was probably not the best choice ever. He could’ve just went and gotten one drink, but no, he insisted on getting more of them as if he was celebrating something while there was nothing to be celebrated. The others warned him the day before but being the guy he was, he just passed them like it was nothing. Wrong choice indeed.

Eventually he was called into the room to be interrogated about the party. He slowly walked behind the police officer who guided him to the place and opened the door. He yawned tiredly as he got inside, noticing the familiar face in front of him. He recognized the other immediately but didn’t let anything see on his face. He didn’t expect to see him here out of all the places. This was going to be quite the hassle if the guy remembered him as well. He scraped his throat before sitting down on the chair on the opposite side.

What was his name again… Aiden? Yes, that was it. They had gotten along well when they were children. Playing with each other and pretending to be knights who defended their kingdom from invisible dragons. Going on the swings and tried to go to the highest point which ended in them falling flat on the ground. It would always end with some laughter if the both of them were together. At least those were the good times of his life unlike now. Well, it was not like he had it extremely bad but he could’ve done things a little bit different. Especially the criminal path that he had taken. They were polar opposites of each other now. One being the cop, and the other being hunted by the cops.

As he ran a hand through his hair, he glanced towards Aiden. A serious face on him as he didn’t feel like getting all happy to be reunited. Not like this. He leaned back in his chair and looked down to the papers on the table. They were still mostly blank which was going to be filled out later on. He looked around and actually felt a little bit more comfortable as the cops didn’t know his actual name as a thief yet. Just as a civilian. It was a good thing, but if they were to investigate a little better, it’d make things more dangerous.

”So… What do you want to know?” He asked, tilting his head lightly to the side before smirking a little. ”I just went to a party that I was invited to. I had a bit too much to drink so that was why I was locked up in a cell. Also, I didn’t fight against any officer and just went along nicely. Aren’t I a nice guy. And this… is my identity card.” He said and slid it towards the officer where the name “Tyres Östlund” was written upon.

After merely three seconds, he took it back and put it inside of his wallet. He just wanted to hurry up and leave this place already. He just hoped that Aiden wouldn’t get unnecessarily included with his life but he had a bad feeling about this. As if this reunion was a bad premonition for the future. He then rubbed the bridge of his nose as his headache wasn’t over yet. Feeling a little sick to the stomach

It really was him. Aiden couldn't believe the change in his friend. If it wasn't for Tyres’ eyes, he wouldn't recognize him at all! The blonde actually looked like a criminal and he was sure his colleagues would check his whole background, which meant Tyres could get in trouble. Their promise was still fresh in Aiden's mind and he couldn't allow his friend to get treated badly. Especially not just because he was a guest at a party that went bad.

It didn't look like the troublemaker recognized him, so Aiden wasn't sure how to start. The insecurity kicked in; maybe he really was wrong and this wasn't his childhood friend. As an Inspector, he didn't want to make a fool of himself. But those eyes..he never saw anyone else with eyes as bright blue as his.

His doubts were gone when the blonde started to talk and showed him his ID. Aiden didn't like his attitude or the smirk he was giving him. The guy was arrested but he looked like he was merely bored! So he pulled the interrogation sheet closer and started to fill in the blanks. He wrote down what happened and when was the blonde took in, intentionally leaving out the personal info. He will do that later, writing some made up data.

Wanting to see if Tyres will tell him anything more, he stayed quiet until he finished writing. Then he slowly leaned back in his chair and looked at the blonde. There was no recognition on his face and Aiden felt disappointed. They used to be so close and did all those stupid things together. Who would forget things like that?

After taking a good look, he sighed and said, "Are you hungry?" Everyone was starved after the night in a cell in his experience. He waited a little to see the man's reaction and then added, "I know a great place near here, let's go." Without waiting for the other's confirmation, he started getting up and headed towards the door. Tyres should be happy he's prepared to buy him food after all this.

Aiden's plan was to drop the sheet in his office so no one would see it, then wait for the blonde outside. Tyres must have some personal belongings to pick up before leaving and it would not look good if they exited like besties.

The officer seemed to be confused from his presence. Well, it was not like he was about to get really friendly with the other as a police and criminal didn’t actually match together. He laid his head on top of the table as he watched the other scribble down everything he was saying. It mainly contained his explanation as to what had happened at the party and why he was there to begin with. His answers contained the basic info so the other could get a picture of it. After all he didn’t want to get things even more complicated than they already were.

Once everything seemed to be finished, he sat up again and was about to leave but he couldn’t. He did notice that Aiden left the personal section open but didn’t say anything about it. He’d probably have his reasons to do so or it was not too big of a deal to even write it down. Some officers didn’t have the time to go through it if they didn’t deem the other actually guilty of something. It was a curse as well as a blessing since they would easier make mistakes.

When the other said to go out to grab some food, he cursed inside of his head as he didn’t really want to do that but the offer of free food sounded nice. A bit too nice. What was his purpose of taking out a stranger with nothing to gain from. As there was no room for him to answer, he did as he was told and got out of the room. Handling everything at the reception before he received his belonging, he went outside and was greeted by Aiden who was patiently waiting for him. He weirdly made him think of the neighbour’s dog when they were still children.

”So why are you doing this…” He commented without much of an expression. Just looking straight at the other. He adjusted the strap of his backpack on his shoulder before looking at the streets. Some people were shooting glances towards them out of curiosity, both citizen as police officers. ”You’re pulling their attention towards us with doing this…” He muttered as he didn’t like to be in the sight of officers.

He could’ve just gone away but for some reason he wanted to know why the other wanted to go eat something with him. Did he remember after all or was he just lonely. There were too many questions to even start asking about so he would just need to see what’d happen after this.

Aiden saw that his prisoner is following him so he proceeded to his office where he dropped the papers in one of his drawers. Best not leave them laying around to avoid unwanted questions, if anyone were to see them. He took a minute to gather himself, putting on a blank expression again before exiting the office.

He needed to wait outside for a while and it gave him time to think. When Aiden was still a child, Tyres would be the centre of his world. They would do everything together. They were too young to be interested in girls or anything else but having fun. Together, they did so many different things, mostly pretending to be heroes who saved the day. Maybe that’s why Aiden became a cop in the end. He liked saving his friend.

He replied to greetings of other cops automatically, not really knowing who passed him and then finally Tyres joined him. The other guy didn’t look all that happy that he needs to spend any more time with the cop, but Aiden didn’t take it to heart.

»So why are you doing this…You’re pulling their attention towards us with doing this…« Tyres asked, looking clearly uncomfortable. Aiden smirked a little and started walking. »Then let's get going, if you don't like attention.« He avoided the other question, not sure himself why he is doing this. But there was one thing Aiden was sure of and that was that he still saw Tyres as his friend and that he will always respect the promise they made that day.

There was a great fast food restaurant just around the corner from the station and they made the best burgers Aiden ever ate, so he frequented it. He was heading there, hoping that Tyres won’t protest or just walk away, now that he was free.

Tyres had thought about just leaving the other his side when he responded like that, and he didn’t even answer all of his questions. He let out a deep sigh as if he was going to do something really annoying. He gripped the strap of his backpack as they started walking into the direction of the restaurant the other wanted to go to. He honestly hoped it wouldn’t be all too fancy which would hurt in his wallet. Though he would make sure he didn’t need to pay since Aiden practically dragged him with him. And disobeying an officer was never a good thing to do unless one had a reason to do so.

Glancing to the side, he looked at Aiden out of confusion. He wasn’t all too sure why he asked to get something to eat all of a sudden. It was not exactly for police men to suggest that, mostly they would just say ‘grab a nice lunch before you get back home’ and there it would end. But then he realized it eventually, the other recognized him. Out of awkwardness he didn’t know what to say so he just kept quiet. He didn’t really want to make things worse than they already were but the silence was not better.

Once they reached a fast food restaurant, he paused as he didn’t expect this kind of place. But he didn’t dislike it so that was a start. He got inside of it and looked around, picking a seat near a window so he could do some people watching while he was at it. It would be less weird to eat with a childhood friend who was not that much of a friend anymore but more likely someone he just knew. Avoiding another upcoming headache he dropped the subject and let it pass like a river flowing through the land.

Once the waitress arrived he ordered a burger without the fries as he wasn’t that fond of them so it would be useless to take them and pay more. And also a coke to go with it. He hadn’t been in this kind of place yet, it had some retro feel to it. The employees were nice and the people who dined here didn’t seem too bad either. Eventually he gave in to the awkwardness as he couldn’t handle it anymore.

”So… You still remember me…” He said with a half-baked smile on his face.

Tyres followed him and Aiden was happy about that. He didn’t want them to go their separate ways and never meet again. Friendship was an important thing to the black-haired man, so he decided he will give it a try. Maybe Tyres will feel the same way and they could be friends again.

Letting the blonde choose the table, he sat on the opposite site so he could see him. There weren’t many cops around at this hour, so Aiden relaxed. He ordered the usual, pulled beef sandwich with fries and coke. It was one of his favorite dishes. He noticed Tyres ordered only a burger and wondered if it’s because he doesn’t have money or just doesn’t eat that much.

Tyres broke the silence and made Aiden raise his eyebrows. Obviously his friend was direct and didn’t tip toe around. “Yes, of course I remember you.” The black-haired man replied. “It’s hard to forget someone you spent so much time with.” The memory made him smile. “You did change a lot, didn’t you?” He hoped Tyres will tell him more about himself and what he’s doing with his life now.

The waitress brought their food at the moment, occupying Aiden with the smell of meat. He really liked to eat and he could feel his mouth watering. He dug in, waiting for Tyres to answer his question.

Tyres only hummed in response to the other as he revealed that he did know him and it wasn't just inside of his head. He took a bite from the burger which tasted better than expected, making him smile slightly at the taste that was inside of his mouth, taking in every flavour he could get. The cheese was just starting to melt and it was good, the meat was baked medium and the vegetables on it weren't soggy at all. He couldn't help but admit that this place served some good food. It was the only requirement for him to go with someone if they had something nice to eat. Luckily it did not came out as a disappointment after all.

His eyes then focused on something familiar that was Aiden his ear, well the earrings in it. "You didn't get rid of them?" He asked nodding towards it before taking another bite of his burger. They went to get them when they were younger but he didn't think the other would keep wearing them until now, especially now that he was a police officer of all the things. He pricked some of the side veggies with his fork and put it in his mouth. There was a nice dressing on it.

"Also, you shouldn't butt into my affairs too much. It would hurt you more than you think. So keep my advise in mind before you take a bad turn that you can't get out off. The last thing I want is for you to become like me." He commented on a more serious note. It was probably not the best idea to tell the other this but it was better to let him know than to let him fiddle around. The business that Tyres was in couldn't be left alone that easily as people had expectations of him. Even though he was the leader of the 'group' that he worked with, they wouldn't be too happy if he suddenly decided to leave them.

Within merely five minutes, the food on his plate was gone and he stood. "Forget about me alright." He said to the other with a light smile before walking out of the door. Even if the other would yell behind him he wouldn't listen. He took a deep breath and started walking down the streets, feeling a little empty because of the words he just said to Aiden. They just met again and he had to break off before they could talk about anything. It certainly gave a shitty feeling. He then looked at his watch and saw that it was time to get to his part-time job.

It was in the middle of the city, clearly visible for people that passed by. It had a neon sign above the doors which said "Anime Shop". It was a simple but clear name for those that saw it and of course people got inside by curiosity or just because they were regulars here. With that, he went inside and stood behind the counter, waiting for someone to buy something or when they needed some advice about something. He even went as far as to choose some cosplay uniforms for them whenever they couldn't choose.

It was obvious his friend is enjoying his food, which made Aiden chuckle to himself. He himself was really enjoying his meal too. The meat was well done but still juicy and the fries were fresh and crispy, just as they needed to be. They both kept eating, Aiden not getting any answer to his question, but at the moment that didn’t bother him. For him, silence like this was comfortable.

Tyres then spoke, noticing Aiden’s piercings. The raven haired guy was surprised, not even thinking it was a big deal he still had them. They became him and it would be weird taking them off. “It’s not like the force forbids this kind of things. And I like them so no, I didn’t get rid of them..” Aiden explained. He did remember they got them together, each got three of them. That was a nice memory.

Before he could add any more, Tyres continued. His words made Aiden raise his eyebrow in disbelief. Who did that guy think he is? Some mafia boss? Not even giving him the chance to reply, the other was already walking towards the door. Aiden felt an impulse to yell after him, but that wasn’t the type of person he was. If Tyres wanted to walk away, he was welcome to do so. The things he said stuck in Aiden’s mind though, so he decided he will just follow him for now and check out where he was heading.

He left enough money to pay their bill and a nice tip, then slowly exited the restaurant. Tracking someone was a skill they taught at the police academy and Aiden had enough chances in his career to hone it to perfection. He was pretty sure his childhood friend won’t notice him.

“He works at the anime shop?” Aiden murmured to himself and chuckled “What a badass.” He followed Tyres to the place and watched long enough to see the guy was working here. He was pretty sure that his friend meant something else with his warning but for now, Aiden had to return to work. He will wait some time and then call the shop to see if he can get any data on Tyres from there. In the office, he flung himself back to work that piled up and didn’t even notice his headache was gone.

And there he was, sitting on the chair behind the counter with his eyes going around the shop to see if anyone needed some help or something. But since he wasn't the only one there he wasn't needed unless a group of friends decided to go around to buy some cosplay. He tapped his finger against the iron, making a tapping sound only for him to hear. It was a nice thing to use as a cover as people didn't see those who worked in shops like these as a criminal and would let them slip. That way he managed to keep his background as clean as possible. The only things that were written in it was that he had gotten drunk and was put behind bars.

Eventually his long awaited release of boredom arrived once it became middag. Some people didn't have to work then and took their time to go around the town. Especially the younger people tended to take a look inside. With a polite smile, he greeted the customers who nodded and immediately dived in this geeky world. They seemed to be especially interested in actual uniforms such as maids, sailors, police women, etc. But one of them was actually interested in a more fantasy themed outfit. As she was wondering about what to wear, Tyres decided to step in and help a hand.

She pointed towards the soft coloured ones, mostly pastel. One was pink, the other blue. They were both nice but the design was completely different. The pink one was more frilly and girly while the blue one had a more mature aura around it. Since she seemed like the more innocent type, he suggested for her to take the pink one which she did. After she tried it on, it seemed like her eyes were sparkling, making her friends laugh in return. Well, it was nice to see someone enjoying to put on those things for the first time. Even Tyres was forced to wear a dress like that before in order to promote the shop. Talk about embarrassing.

[2pm]

His shift ended as another employee came inside of the shop, making him get back into his normal cloths and took a deep breath before walking outside. It was a calm day today, but a good one nonetheless. The sun was up and about right now which meant it was time to get a snack as he hadn't eaten anything else except the burger from before. He decided to go and get a taco from one of the trucks standing in the center of the town. It was a pretty popular one yet it always had enough food until the evening.

He sat down on one of the benches and chomped happily on his taco. It was a little spicy but so good.

Time always passed quickly for Aiden when he was working and today was no different. He took a break earlier for his friend and now he had to get the lost time back. His thoughts were focused on the case he was overlooking for a younger colleague, when Cloe appeared in his office. It surprised him a little since he didn’t hear her knocking. She brought him more work, but also reminded him it was time for lunch. Good thing he had her or he would be lost.

It was already 2pm, his shift almost ending, but Aiden knew that he will be back in his office after lunch, working overtime again. As he was exiting the station, some of his friends caught up with him, along with Cloe. It was the usual gang and Aiden felt comfortable around them. He let them choose the place to eat and just followed along, his thoughts focused on Tyres.

It was a weird reunion, which was understandable since he found his childhood friend in a cell, but still..the things Tyres said before leaving were going around his head. What confused Aiden the most, was that his friend seemed to be dead serious, it didn’t look like he just wanted to get rid of him.

They arrived at a popular place in the center of the city and Tyres told Cloe what he would like to eat. His friends went to order, while Aiden looked around to find them a nice spot to sit and that is when he saw him. Tyres was sitting on a nearby bench, looking perfectly satisfied with his taco. Aiden was at a loss, not knowing what to do. Approach him or rather leave him alone, like his friend wanted to?

Tyres got a beeping sound from the alarm clock, making him narrow his eyes as he knew what it meant. He let out a deep sigh and finished his taco quickly. Taking big bites from it without miraculously spilling any of it on the ground. Waving towards the truck owner who did the same before leaving this place a little more serious than usual. Glancing around to see if no one was following him as he took off for his "appointment". His steps were swift, waving his way through the crowd before making a sudden turn into one of the alleyways that was not that well lit.

There, he went to the farthest point before getting in one of the houses with a metal door. It was one of the storage rooms that were used to keep a lot of shitty stuff in it. He went to the bathroom and changed into his uniform which consisted of a stretchy black pants, black shoes, black shirt with long sleeved and a mask that his everything beneath his eyes. His hair was done in a ponytail to not let it get into his way. Once dressed, he got out of the bathroom with his backpack tightly on him. It barely had any room to move.

With that, he got back into the alleyway and climbed up the iron ladder so he would get to the roof. He was pretty agile so it didn't ask much effort to get there. With that, he made his way to the closest museum by moving over the roofs. Luckily they were all standing close to one another until he got to the last house. From there he shot a small bug to the edge of the building which was used as a camera. He then got down and made his way to that place. Keeping in the shadows as there were people moving. It had to be done at this time of day since the sculpture was about to be moved to somewhere else and wouldn't have another chance to take it.

He got in by forcing the lock that was used by employees and sneaked inside. There he went into one of the shafts and crawled his way until he reached the point of where the sculpture was situated. He hooked himself with a rope and slowly slid down after spraying a fluid into the air, revealing the red lasers. Balancing himself, he slowly reached out to the sculpture with something that looked like a pen in his hand. A small laser made a hole in the glass, just big enough to get it out. However the glass fell and the alarm went off.

He barely took the sculpture with him before it disappeared under ground and pulled himself up into the shaft again. He quickly crawled further but security was already present. Making him realize that this was not going to be easy to get out of. As he reached the end of it, he carefully looked around before hopping out of there and his himself into one of the lockers as there was noise coming from somewhere close. A bit too close.

Aiden decided he will leave his childhood friend alone. The other made it clear that he didn’t want Aiden to get involved in his life and he was here with colleagues – if there was a scene, they would ask too much questions.

While they chatted and ate, Aiden kept one eye on Tyres, who left soon after. He was always listening to his instincts as a cop and they were sounding alarms in his head now. Where was Tyres headed and what is he involved with? Aidens curiosity got the better of him so he apologized to his friends and left after his childhood friend.

Tyres didn’t seem to notice anyone behind him, so Aiden managed to follow him to an old alleyway where he disappeared through the last door. As far as he knew, there were only some warehouses here so Aiden decided to wait outside.

It wasn’t long before his friend was back outside again, dressed all in black and climbing to the roof. “What the hell is he doing?” Aiden murmured to himself, waiting a little before climbing up himself. At the top, he slowly looked over the edge, in case Tyres was standing next to it, but he didn’t need to worry – there was no one here anymore. Aiden looked around and saw him. “Fuck!” His friend was already a few houses ahead, moving on the roofs.

Quickly climbing down again and heading to the station, Aiden had a bad feeling about this. Now his friend’s warning made more sense, he really was into something bad. If there will be any news about Tyres, the station would be the first place to know, since the guy wasn’t doing anything legal, sneaking on the roofs like that.

Aiden did some more of his work while he waited, but listened sharply for any indication of what was happening with his childhood friend. And then it happened, they got a call from one of the museums that there was a robbery. The station was suddenly filled with movement as officers rushed out, Aiden with them.

When they arrived, the museum’s private security was already organizing the search and Aiden volunteered to go in. He needed to find Tyres first, see what can be done. Inside, there were people rushing everywhere and Aiden had a hard time navigating the building. He was pushed in one of the rooms filled with lockers and he took a moment to breathe, looking around.

Hairs on the nape of his neck rose and he got the feeling he wasn’t alone in the room. He looked around closely and started searching the room, opening lockers and checking around.

His heart was thumping in his throat. Cursing himself for letting the glass drop towards the other side from where it was supposed to fall. But he couldn’t move as he heard noises coming from the other side of the room, meaning they already dispatched officers and were searching all over the place for a sign of the thief. In this case, Tyres. The only problem was that he couldn’t get out of there as there was no window no other escaping route except from that door where cops were patrolling now. He would just need to wait for them to move to another part of the building so he could escape.

His hope however was crushed as one of them was send inside. And then the doors of the lockers were opened and closed repeatedly, getting closer and closer to where Tyres was situated. Several routes were created inside of his mind but none of them would end without a scratch. Eventually he decided what was the best thing he could do. He slammed the door open in the hopes that it would hit the officer but once he took a glance at the person, he stopped in his tracks.

”What are you doing here?!” He blurted out in a loud voice, surprising himself because of the sound that he made. Another officer heard it and asked if there was somebody in here. He grabbed Aiden by the collar and pulled him into one of the lockers which were big enough to fit two people in. Museums were pretty useful at times like these.

His hand was covering Aiden his mouth so the other wouldn’t make any noise that could pull more attention towards here. The other cop just took a quick glance inside before moving on again. He let out a relieved sigh as he wasn’t caught except by Aiden. ”You followed me didn’t you.” He muttered in an irritated tone of voice. Though he couldn’t really be angry at the other as it was his own fault for not noticing it earlier.

Aiden was surprised when one of the lockers burst open, only to reveal his friend. He didn’t resist being pulled back into the locker and he waited quietly until they were alone again. He found it amusing that Tyres was holding a hand over his mouth, like he would say anything to give them up. There would be a whole world of trouble for Aiden if he was found in a situation like this, but at the moment, he was just relieved that he found his childhood friend.

“You followed me didn’t you,” his friend asked, clearly irritated. Aiden sighed as he grabbed his friends arm and removed it from his mouth. “Yes I followed you and you should show some gratitude, because I’m planning to get you out before they find you.” Irritation was seeping into Aiden’s voice too.

The locker was really small and two grown men filled it up completely. Aiden’s body was pressed hard against Tyres and he was still holding his hand. His childhood friend grew up into a handsome man and Aiden was all too aware of that right now. He was also aware of the growing tension in the constricted space.

He cleared his throat, before speaking. “So..what do you wanna do until things calm down a little?”

Tyres blinked as he managed to get Aiden irritated as well. A new achievement. When the other spoke, he couldn’t help but to be interested in what his plan was. But before he could ask, he heard other voices coming from the other side of the room, luckily none of them entered again so they were safe for the time being. Well, Aiden would be but Tyres would be less lucky if they managed to find him here. Pretty awkward too since he would be trapped in a locker with a police officer of all the people.

The lack of space however made it difficult to think straight. And then he felt something getting hard on his leg. He chuckled lightly as he didn’t want to make too much noise. ”Really… This is not the time to get excited.” He couldn’t help but laugh a little as he said that. He didn’t expect for Aiden to react this way in the slightest so it was a surprise.

He put a strand of hair behind his ear and looked the other straight in the eyes. ”Do you have the hots for me?” He asked, glad that the mask didn’t show the grin that he had on his lips. He wasn’t able to keep himself serious even if he was being chased.

Aiden raised an eyebrow at his childhood friend’s comment. “You are a thief and you don’t like the excitement of doing something bad, when you could get caught?” All the adrenalin was giving Aiden quite a rush, even though he was usually all about the rules. But right now, he couldn’t think of any good reason to play by the rules. He broke all of them by coming here already.

“And getting a hard on, doesn’t necessarily mean I have the hots for you. I just need to get some steam off.” Aiden added after a pause. He was starting to enjoy this. It wasn’t a first time flirting with a guy for him. He was pretty comfortable with his own sexuality and he wasn’t picky when it came to gender.

Bitting his lip, Aiden reached for his friend’s mask. He wanted to see his face and see how the other was feeling about all this. He’ll be damned before he would force himself on anyone and he really hoped Tyres was up for this.

Tyres chuckled at the comment of Aiden who seemed to be enjoying this a little too much. His eyes having a more provoking glance now as he knew that the officer wasn't going to play by the rules anymore. Not that it mattered since the guy already reacted this way. It did surprise him that someone like Aiden would even say stuff like that but he didn't dislike it to be honest. He thought it was kind off hot actually. He hadn't done it with an officer before, making him curious as to how it'd go.

When the other reached for his mask, he let it pull down, only to reveal a light smile on his face. "Don't blame me if they catch us." He commented. Lifting his leg up so it would rub the other his hard-on. It'd been a while since he did something like this but he didn't forget what he had to do.

"You're already quite hard aren't you? How long has it been?" He asked with a smug face. He couldn't help but to get excited as well. Feeling his pants tighten a bit more. The officer was indeed right about it being exciting to do it in a place like this.

Aiden groaned as his friend rubbed his crotch. It really was too long since the last time he had a partner. Aiden mastrubated pretty much every night, before going to sleep. It helped him relax and put his mind off work. But that couldn't compare to this.

"You're already quite hard aren't you? How long has it been?" Tyres asked, looking amused and Aiden couldn't help but chuckle. "Dude, it's been ages. So why are we still talking?" He looked the other with a grin on his face, the tip of his tongue slowly traveling over his lips and said with a hoarse voice, "I'm hungry."

When Aiden seached for a partner, it was for pleasure and pleasure only. He didn't need company and emotions were usually too messy for him. That was also the reason he didn't limit himself to women only; they could quickly become too clingy. And now that he was cramped in such a tight space with his childhood friend, who didn't want to get involved too much with Aiden, he had a perfect opportunity.

They didn't have much time left, so Aiden made his move. He closed in on Tyres, his own lips almost touching the blonde's, while his hand traced the shape of his friend's abdomen until it reached his belt and started to unbuckle it.
