Ryo looked at the man with a look of surprise then smiled and chuckled a little nervous. Even his oblivious self caught on to that, "I would um... I would guess so yeah."

"You are a lot better looking than described. I mean, they said you were fair looking, but damn." The guy ran a hand through his hair and sighed. It wasn't often one got the opportunity he had. "We could get some breakfast. I mean, it's a tight budget but manageable."

Ryo wasn't used to being hit on, his mouth opened for a moment but no words wanted to come out. Maybe people at his last school were more reserved, "I just had breakfast... Perhaps another time. I didn't catch your name." He was trying to stay friendly, he didn't want to offend the guy.

"Oh. Sorry. I'm Jean." Jean offered his hand up to the other man and grinned. He was a typically out there kind of guy and it worked to his benefit, but he wondered how the person messaged him knew about these things.

 

Dee had heard some of the talking outside and decided to investigate. He opened the doow and frowned at what he saw. Ryo was flustered and talking to some guy in front of their room. He opened the door all the way and leaned on the frame. "And I'm Dee. I think your business is done here."

 

"You know... The message did mention an over bearing roommate." Jean scoffed and ran a hand through his hair. "You really should consider letting the poor guy breathe."

Ryo looked back at Dee blushing more then looked back to Jean loosing the blush, "wait what message?" That really concerned him. Who was keeping tabs on him like this? What was up with this guy? Sheesh his new friends weren't lying when they said he was being watched.

"I just got a message last night from the academy's website. It was another student and they said that a Randy McClain was staying in room 329. It described you and mentioned a hookup." Jean smirked as he eyed Dee before shaking his head. "And the over bearing roommate."

 

Dee glared at the other before stepping up and pointing a finger at him. "I don't know what your problem is, but you can go on some where. There is no hookup for you here. Tell him, Ryo."

"There is no hook up happening anywhere. I don't want to fall behind in the course because everyone wants to 'hookup'," Ryo brought his hand up and did quotes. He then turned to Dee pushing him back to their room. "We have class to get ready for, good day." He shut the door quickly behind them and rushed to his closest to change into his clothes for the day. He was all flustered. Was this all guys his age thought about?

Dee smirked as Ryo spoke and gave Jean a 'better than You' look. That was until Ryo started pushing him back in the room. He sent one last glare toward the affronted man left in the hall before turning his attention to his roommate. "You should be more cautious of your vulnerability, y'know."

 

Jean stood in silence for a while before pulling out his phone and dialing an anonymous number. He waited for the ring to stop and immediately spoke. "No. You had it wrong. They seem a bit more attached than you originally thought, kid." He started down the hall as he continues the conversation.

Ryo sighed and looked over at Dee, "what vulnerability?" He honestly wasn't sure what he was talking about. Maybe he was too easily embarrassed? "I was just talking to another student here." He slipped off his night shirt and slipped off his pants leaving his back to Dee as he grabbed his cargo jeans.

"Someone that could have easily forced you down." Dee watched Ryo's backside as he undressed and gave an appreciative whistle before he turned to his dresser and grabbed clean clothes for the day. He considered a different route with the other. He could take it slow and ease Ryo into a relationship. It seemed ideal.

"Force me down? You think he was going to rape me?" Ryo pulled on his pants and turned to Dee raising a brow. "I doubt it." Ryo shook his head and pulled his black shirt on.

 

Turning around he sat on his bed and started to get his socks and shoes on, "you think I can't defend myself?"

Dee dressed in his clean clothes and laughed. "Defend yourself? Ryo, did you not see yourself out there? You were wide open to being maced or morphined." Okay, so it wasn't practical. He was from the streets and on the streets you expect anything. "He had you right where he wanted you."

Ryo looked at Dee with a 'what the fuck' kind of look and raised his hands in a 'what' fashion, "what are you even talking about, Dee?" He stood back up. "I can defend myself just fine. Even if he leaned in to kiss me I'd be able to dodge him."

"I'm simply being practical, Ryo." Dee put on his socks and shoes, quickly tying them. He stood up once he was done and tugged on his shirt some. "What would you have done if he kept talking so nicely and leaned in to even merely sniff you?"

"Sniff me?" Ryo raised a brow. "That's strange... I would have probably hit him." He honestly wasn't sure, that hadn't ever happened to him before.

"I'm just saying, you should be more careful." Dee ran a hand through his hair to semi contain his locks before turning to Ryo. He wished he could just p u.u t a big sign on the other man to ward the sexual deviants away. "Not everyone is as upstanding as I am, Ryo."

Ryo stepped up to him and rested a hand on his shoulder, "I appreciate that you're worried about me, Dee. I'll be alright." He smiled softly to the slightly taller man. He had such a gentle nature about him. It was surprising he wanted to be a cop.

"Well, it is my duty as a future officer of the law." Dee smirked down at Rip. He was quick to let any co mpliment go straight to his head.

Ryo smiled back and rolled his eyes, "oh dear. You're going to be trouble for me Dee." He stepped away to grab his jacket. "Lets get training done." It was going to be a long day of running, training, weapons, and many more for the boys.

"Training... that's what I want to do for the next nine hours." Dee rolled his eyes and followed Ryo from the room. It wasn't like he really minded but it sounded good.

That's exactly what they did. From head to toe training. Ryo excelled at the bomb defuse class, while he wasn't as good with hand to hand combat. It's not that he was weak he just didn't keep up with his teammates. Walking over to grab his water sweat dripped from his face. He was thankful that the day would be done soon.

Dee stood to the side and chugged a bottle of water. He was good with the physical training, but the mental training gave him some pause. He had noticed a few others that seemed exceptional with the strategic work and wondered if there was a good way to learn all that or if it came down to the partner one chose.

 

Jay Jay was all too happy to take a towel and cold water bottle to his precious Dee. He smiled big and latched onto the taller man's arm as he rambled about muscles and sweat. It all rather confused the poor guy.

 

On the other side of the training grounds, Jim laid asleep with his head conveniently in Percil's lap. The blonde was good with physical, while his partner was well done in both areas.

Ryo thought he was going to fall over from those last bits of suicide runs. Sweat dripped down his pale features as he gasped for air. No certainly not the most physical guy, that was for sure. He heard JayJay talking to Dee but right now he was trying to not pass out. Sitting on the ground near Jim and Percil he rubbed the back of his arm over his forehead, "Okay... I did not train enough for this."

Percil chuckled and looked over at Ryo. The poor kid looked like he didn't know the meaning of training. "You will get used to the minimal. Just means you need to pick a partner that is really good in the physical area and surpass the mental area well."

"Mental's not... a problem," Ryo looked over at Dee. He's been noticing more and more about him as time went on. All day he'd taken glances at him that he assumed was just because they were friends and he was seeing how well he was doing at certain things.
