Ezra watched the human walk towards the kitchen.

"I suppose i could." He said softly, following William into the small room. "I don't need to eat, but I don't want to leave just yet." He said, leaning against a counter, smiling down at the man.

He hurried to put on his pants and a shirt before getting the bread and jam out on the counter.

As he put the bread into the toaster he did a small prayer that it wouldn’t burn this time so Ezra would have yet another thing to tease him about. Will know he had pretty much been born with a silver spoon in his mouth so even simple stuff like cooking didn't always end up eatable at times and he wasn't use to take this much care of his own needs though he almost had back at his father's house where the staff had readied his food and cleaned his rom, now everything was on him to ensure his meals and living-conditions.

 

"So.. what did you do in the time you didn't come here?" William suddenly asked out of the blue as his eyes went from the toaster to the demon leaning on the counter.

"I can't tell you much." Ezra said, letting out a long breath.

"I train and spend time with other demons and my brother." He shrugged.

"Mostly training though." He quickly added.

"What do you do when I'm not around, hm?" Ezra asked, smiling at the human.

Will let out a deep sigh. "I can tell you but I don't think you will get much out of my day though, training = defense exercises, spells, pixi trapping." William answered and meantioned a few. "I don't know what I'm going to be put up to today but I'm kinda existed to find out"

 

But then he stilled, was it even a good thing to tell your demon friend that you looked forward to learning how to hunt and possible kill demons... "On the other hand lets not talk about what we do.. Unless you want me to teach how to break free from a well put up trap, I don't think it would be good for either one of us"

"you can teach me some other time, just focus on making food." Ezra chuckled, "I can teach you how to get out of a demonic trap, but I might want to keep that to my advantage." The demon said, looking over at William and winking playfully. "Maybe i'll teach you after i use it a few times..." He trailed off, thinking of the idea of the human in magic binds, laying at Ezra's mercy.

"Of course, I wouldn't hurt you. It would just be for fun." He hummed at the thought.

William's mouth dropped open and he just stood utterly starring at Ezra. He found himself completely lost for words and no come back popped up either, Will was utterly amazed. William laughed as he got not-so-innocent images into his head.and turned his attention towards the toast that popped up just then, sending a little chock of surprise through him enought to jump a bit.

 

Ignoring embarrassed display just then, Ren got the bread down on a plate and covered both pieces up with jam.

Still with the butt knife im his hand he pointed at Ezra. "Just so you know, if I do fin myself stuck in a demonic trap I'm blaming you for not sharing" The human said in a teasing tone before he bite into his toast, messing up his appearance by smearing jam on his cheek. He had a small weakness for sugar in the morning, some perfered coffee but William had his own small pleasures with sweet things. The day just wouldn't be the same without a steady meal no would it.

Ezra couldn't help but laugh as William got flustered and jumped from the sudden noise from the toaster.

"You can blame me then." He grinned, pushing himself off the counter to lean towards the human, grabbing Will's jaw in his hand, holding it tight enough to keep the man steady.

He contemplated on just wiping away the jam with a finger, but that wouldn't fix the urge Ezra had to touch the man.

"Can I steal a taste?" Ezra asked, before leaning forward and licking the jam from the smaller man's face, humming at the sweet taste.

It was hard to pull away after being so close to Will's lips, almost torture would be better than pulling away.

"This is what sweetness taste like." He murmured, pressing his lips against the human's lips once more, before pulling away and letting go of the man's jaw. "I disturbed your breakfast." He said, wiping his own mouth, enjoying the sugary taste on his lips.

He wanted to frustrate the human enough for Will to try and kiss him back, but he knew the human had a lot to do today, and didn't want to distract the man too much, at least.

"What are yo..?" Will asked confused as the demon leaned in. Thinking Ezra was gonna kiss him, William closed his eyes only to feel a sensation of something warm and wet against his cheek. William wasn't sure rather to laugh or growl as Ezra back away so it mostly ended in a escaped let down sigh as he turned back to the bedroom to get the phone. Will was somehow annoyed, who ever was calling really had bad timing.. or was it good timing?

 

He recognized the number on the screen but the call ended way before he could gather the courage to press the connecte botton. Will just stood with the quiet phone in his hand a second more before he lay it back down, he wasn’t gonna call back what ever happened at that place it was of no conserne of his.

"I'm gonna head out now." William explained as he went back into the kitchen to get his coat. "Will you come again tonight?.. don't come if it is a problem, you where here the entire night so if you can’t it's fin too" the human was quite to explain as he looked back at the demon with a soft smile. His blades hidden beneath his coat, close to his body and easy to access.

Ezra watched William look down at his phone and let it ring, the demon assumed it was his father, but it wasn't his place to ask.

 

"Will you come again tonight?.. don't come if it is a problem, you where here the entire night so if you can’t it's fin too"

 

Ezra glanced down at the floor and pushed himself off the counter to walk to the human.

He stood over the smaller man and gave him a relaxed smile.

"I'm sure I'll come back." He said, reaching out and petting Will's hair back like he always did. "I want to finish what was started, without any interruptions hopefully." He said, his voice straight-forward.

He smirked and brushed a thumb over the human's lips before stepping back and disappearing, going back to his own world, needing a minute to rest and collect his thoughts.

He had be on foot for about two hours time and was thinking about putting up an search spell for demonic powers, when suddenly, William found himself stuck and unable to move.

"What the?" William tried to pull his arm free as he felt something restrain him only to get even more tangled in what ever that thing was.

Ivy.. giant, rope thick ivy hanging from either side of him was chaining him to the spot and the more he struggled against it the more the plant tightened it's hold in him.

 

"I wouldn't do that it I were you, think about it, if you set it on flames even a pretty little hunter wouldn't be fireproof."

Will was about to throw a fire spell up at the vines just before a voice startled him enought to extinguish the flame growing in his palm. "Who is there!?" The boy asked loudly as his gaze scanned the forest around. who ever had set this trap wasn't a hunter nor human. "Iet me go now"

"Oh no, I can't do that just yet, not when I finaly found you little one" The stangers voice seemed to ecoh from all around him sending William's head flying from side to side until the voice then moved to just hehind him. The boys skin crawled and his hair stood up as he felt the person breathing down his neck and instintly he kicked back trying to conect his boot to something, only that the vine stopped his movements.

 

The stranger just chuckled in an rustic manner and stepped around the trapped boy so he could see the boys face "Mmm, a young lord and.. Oh my.. now isn't that a suprise, oh well this just got so much more interesting"

The demon gently took William's chin and brought his face up, a dangous looking smil played in his eyes. "Don't worry I wouldn't hurt you.. quite the opposite"

Ezra decided to strength train for the time being, trying to keep his mind busy.

Throwing fists at the punching bag, he let out a low growl, smelling the change in the air as he felt his brother walking into the room.

"What?" Ezra said quickly, darting his clear eyes over to the demon standing in the door.

The demon kept his face like stone, sharp eyes looking over at his younger brother. He stood taller than Ezra, who was already tree-like.

 

"Hello to you too." He said, his voice rough, cold.

 

"I'm not asking again, Marth." Ezra wiped his forehead and turned to look at his brother, hating the fact he had to look up to meet his eye.

 

 

Marth was the better looking of the brothers, in Ezra's opinion, but that didn't change the fact Marth was a blood-thirsty monster, always judging Ezra for being so "kind."

 

"You've been leaving quite a lot lately, I was just wondering where you've been running off to." He hummed, his voice sounded kind, but the demon's eyes spoke something different.

 

"I'm able to travel wherever i choose. Stop asking stupid questions." Ezra pushed past his brother, knocking him in the shoulder, reaching for his towel to wipe the sweat from his face.

 

"You smell of human." Marth covered his nose, his nost crinkling under his hand. "Normally the smell of blood covers the smell, but there isn't any. Are you sure i'm asking a dumb question?" He said, his chilling eyes burning hols into Ezra's.

 

Ezra growled and went for the door, done with the conversation.

 

A hand shot out and blocked the door.

 

"Watch who you're going to see, Ezra. I dont want to see your heart on some hunter's mantle." Marth chuckled at the idea, knowing very well a demon hunter would go for his younger brother's eyes or horns as well.

 

Ezra looked back at his brother, then glanced back at the hand blocking his way. He reached up and wrapped a hand around Marth's arm, gripping tightly as his hands grew so cold, frost appeared on his brother's skin, causing frostbite on the man's arm.

 

Marth pulled away quickly and looked down at the now deep black-blue fingerprints, then glared up at the younger man.

 

Ezra bared his teeth before walking to his room, needing to clean himself off.

 

In the back of his mind he kept replaying his brothers words over and over again, causing stress to build in his already tense shoulders.

 

He groaned and walked to the bath and stripped himself of his clothes, wishing he could stay in the water for the rest of time.

 

But he needed to see Will tomorrow, not being able to get him out of his mind.

The timeframe between him lossing consciouseness and actually finding the hellhound were lost on him, no matter how hard he tried to remember William couldn't come up with anything. "Yours it still fin to use, but since you haven't gather enough energy it's best only to use it to hold up smaller creatures like goblins or fairies"

 

"What are you gonna do with the hellhound?" William asked, trying hard not to sound suspicious of what mostly would happen the creature.

The man just shook his shoulders like he didn't really give that much of a thought.

"Its a beast boy, no one are really gonna miss it, infact it's energy is worth more death than alive. One less hound out there means 50 innocent people gets to live."

 

"But have you ever thought about how those creatures do get here? I mean, wouldn't it just be that much more save to just find out how they do get here and prevent them form getting through?" William asked, hoping he hadn’t been the only one thinking of that idea.

Master Caine just look at the boy with a raised brow but his expression looked as if he was really thinking about his question before answering. This was yet another thing he liked about his mentor. Caine would actually listen to most of his weird and childish questions.

 

"Some have tried... I think, but to do that it would require to really get to know everything about hell-beings.. Most hunters aren't skilled enough to do that kind of feildwork and do that kind of research, I myself are properly one of them... No William, you shouldn't go think about that kind of stuff, you are a smart boy but I don't wanna see you up on the list of casualties before me" the hunter reached out and gently squeezed William's shoulder. "I'll say it again, you take way too many risks and I'm not always too sure about whats keeping you going, but as long as I am your mentor you better listen to whatever i tell you, got it?"

"You can go now, I haven’t got anything else for you today and the customer is only expecting the beast for tomorrow" the hunter answered as he waved his hand dismissingly, signaling for William to run along and be off before he closed the wooden door.

"Leave. Now." He demanded, keep a sharp eye on the man sitting in the chair, not in the mood to kill anyone tonight.

"Well now, who ever taught you manners clearly did awful job" Salix stated completely ignoring the younger demons snarling as his gaze scaned Ezra from top to toe with a calm and relaxed expression. Clearly not intimidated the slightes by the aminalistic power play.

"I already had my meeting with you human, and before you try to do something stupid I didn't hurt him" the demon assured though he didn't really care how Ezra was gonna take things, that hadn't been why he had waited for Ezra to appear.

 

"Did you know he generates darker magic? For a human that really rar and if some other demon out there were to find out about the quality, you might not want to stay near him when the time comes. I only got a quick tast myself when I repayed him for a favor but lets just say it will keep me full for quite some days" being kept full meant not needing to go back to the underworld to gather the dark energy most demons ate from. Finding another source meant a great deal, if one had a way to ingest energy while still being i the human world he could leave the hell for good.

"Either should there be any kind of relationship between a hunter and a demon, but you already know that and yet knowing what he will become you are still coming to see him?" Just as Will reached for his pocket for his key, he noticed voices coming from the inside.

Acting quick he grabbed the handle of on of his small knives as he silently spined the key around to open the lock.

First he thought it might had been theif but then he noticed Ezra's muffeled voice and slowly his grab on the knife lossened.

To anyone but the two it would see like a loving embrace and William felt his body change from tense and unsure to furious and stepped out into view with his knife already drawn.

"What do you think you are doing" the human asked bitterly as his eyes scaned the two and hating every inch of the other that touched Ezra.

 

Salix couldn't help but chuckle as he leaned his head down closer to Ezra's ear so only he could hear him.

"Aren't he just adorable, now do remember I said that I wouldn't hurt the human, however anger me futher I might sadden him by killing you.. are we clear?" the incubus tone had changed so much from his calm self to his more demonic nature, his gaze too was cold enough to freez hell over if he wanted it and his face turned ugly like a corpse as he revealed his true face to Ezra.

 

"Beside, you should really thank me for strenghting your boy's body, thanks to me you wouldn’t end up cuting his life short if you decides to stain him, though don't do anything you wouldn’t do with your demon lover and you are save" Salix finished turning back to his beautiful and calm self as he lossened his grib and turned to the human smilling over how brave the child were to stand up to him.

"Ah, I really wanted you for my own, but I promised not to." the demon pouted as he walked over.

William held his knife up and ready but Salix just held the blade between two fingers to stop it and his other free hand caressed William's face up by his chin.

 

"Thank you for saving my mate at the academy, he is one of my younger lover's and isn't all that well in taking care of himself yet, but thanks to you he will learn" Salix smiled genuinely greatful towards the human as he leaned down to give the human a quick kiss, tasting the boy's magic one last time while still having his hold on Ezra.

William pulled away instantly and Salix let him as he winked. "Thanks for the treat hunter" the demon smirked and William couldn't help thinking back on the thing in the woods to not blush a bit as Salix's body simmered away and the hold on Ezra disappeared.

The demon's eyes grew in rage as he watched the incubus press a kiss to Will's lips. He bit down onto his own lips, furious with the fact someone had touched those lips that Ezra deemed as his.

 

Ezra watched as the other demon left, fire burning his veins whenever he got near William.

 

Ezra was finally able to move, and walked over to hold William by the shoulders, noticing the red on the human's face.

"Are you alright?" He asked, trying to focus his attention on the human, not going out to attack Salix. He leaned down to get a better look at the smaller man, brushing a hand over the human's cheek, making sure he wasn't warm from a fever of some sorts.

 

"How did that demon know you Will? What exactly did he do to 'strengthen' you?" He asked, basically knowing the answer, but wanted to hear it from the other man, trying his best not to lose his temper.
