Option to Edit Certain Posts/Threads

I was wondering whether it could be possible to give us the option to edit certain posts or threads outside the 24h limit. For example, in the it would really be useful to be able to add a few more details to our posts if we get inspiration at a later date (ex. add a desired plot, characters, limits, etc) or even close temporarily the thread (ex. we are no longer looking for RP partners but one day we may want to again).

To make it short. Edditing any kind of post consumes memory. That's why editing is so limited. Maybe we can find another solution to your request. Let's see what Key says

Yeah, as Bridget said, each edited post takes twice the space in the database. If it is edited 3 times, it takes thrice the space and so on and our database is already huge. We didn't have that 24 hours limit at first, but members would overly use the Edit function and the database's size went up the roof in a very short time, causing server issues and slowness. So, for now, this is the best way to prevent that from happening again. Anyway, if you have some necessary updates on the RP posts, feel free to contact any moderator and they will help you.
