BunBunTheCatSnake
Name: Clyde Palmer Age: 26 Height:5’6 Hair Color: Light Blonde Eye Color: Baby Blue Distinguishing Features: *An angel mark under his right eye Likes: *Sex *Art galleries *Birds *Free drinks *Painting/Sketching Dislikes: *Large dogs *Commitment or any mention of it. *Kids *Marriage/Weddings __________________________________________________ Clyde brushed his bangs to the side before he got out of his small white Subaru. He was starting a new job as a secretary today, for some big shot company. Secretarial jobs was something he was pretty great at. He liked keeping everything neat and organized, and his friends often joked that he probably has OCD. Clyde always found the accusation a bit extreme, and just chalked it up to great organization skills. Because of his experience and skills Clyde wasn't nervous about the job at all! The only thing he was a bit weary of was who he was working under. Clyde didn't get the chance to actually meet the CEO, and the name sounded so familiar. It had been bothering him since he got the job if he was being truthful. Clyde stepped into the office and gave a confident smile towards the woman who had interviewed him. She was the COO named Abigail Smith. She was in her late twenties, and just looking at her you could feel the intelligence ooze from her. "Hi! I know I'm a bit early, but it's better than late." Clyde joked. Abigail smiled and nodded, "wonderful!" She said enthusiastically. "I'll show you to your desk, and have you meet the CEO." The meer mention of the CEO made Clyde swallow a lump in his throat. "Sounds like a plan!" Abigail lead Clyde to the top of the floor, and along the way had him meet a few of the people he would work with. They all seemed nice, and some even offered to help Clyde if he needed any. When they reached the elevator and stepped inside, Clyde couldn't help but fidget with his watch. "You'll be fine," Abigail said softly, as she fixed her brunette braid. "You have promise, so I'm sure you'll fit right in." Clyde though it was sweet of her to try to ease his worry, but the problem was that wasn't it at all. What if the CEO was someone he wronged, or even vise versa? "Thanks." Clyde said with a sheepish smile. The elevator dinged, which made Clyde jump just a bit. "Oh wonderful!" Abigail said with a small clap with her hands. She hurried out of the elevator, and brought Clyde to a large empty desk, in the shape of a half circle. "This is your desk. We encourage for our employees to decorate it as they wish, just... don't do anything provocative and keep it family friendly." Abigail said as she moved to two glass doors, and knocked softly. "Sir, the new secretary is here."
Shisu-Chan00
Name: Adrian Raidcliff Age: 28 Height: 5'11" Eye Color: Brown Distinguishing features: He has a tattoo on his side. Likes: Dogs, winter, long walks at night, quiet music, sex, and reading Dislikes: Women, annoying people, mouth breathers, summer, and work ~~ The soft morning sun danced across Adrian's bare chest as it rose and fell. The head that rested against it rose as well and it wasn't until the sun rose to his face did the brown haired man awake. His hard features shifted and finally shown signs of being awake when the small head against him rose. "Adrian? You're late." the male said gently in a sleepy tone. This caused a curse from Adrian who threw the covers, and the person, off of him and quickly started getting ready. He dressed into a brown suit and a tie taking just enough time to brush back his hair and make it look presentable. That was the good thing about being the boss, he didn't have to look too good if he didn't want to. Though this dishelved look was rather hot and even if he thought it was gross and slobish the women at the office wouldn't think twice to jump on him. He was sort of a playboy, the man in his bed was the delivery boy two floors down that often stopped at the CEO's office on his breaks to deliver special packages. "Don't be late" he said to the boy as he left the apartment and quickly made it to his car. He sped to the office and still made it there before his new secretary. He often got in alot of trouble with his secretaries, he often flirted with them and even made advances on them at work. Some would get too frightened of ruining their career that they would quit and others would give in and let him have some fun before firing them. It was a cycle of neverending lust and he couldn't help it if he wanted more of it. His COO would be bringing him his new secretary, she promised he was good looking. Adrian didn't look him up and didn't even know the guys name let alone what he looked like on paper. When the knock came he was more than happy and called back, "Bring them on in!" and he awaited his new partner.
BunBunTheCatSnake
Abigail couldn't help but roll her eyes when she heard the tone in his voice. She should have never told Adrian that Clyde was cute. "Well, you're the boss." Abigail said playfully as she opened the door. Clyde followed the woman, and peeked over her shoulder. It took everything for his jaw not to drop to the ground. Shit, Clyde thought to himself, It just had to be him. "This is Clyde Palmer," Abigail said as she lightly squeezed his shoulder. "His resume was rather impressive, and I'm just sure he's the perfect fit." Abigail pinched the dumbfounded Clyde's cheek, before she looked at the clock on the wall. "Oh, well. I have a lot of work today, so I should get to it." Abigail said before she turned on her heels and headed out the door. "Welcome to the crew Clyde. If you need anything at all just dial 3264, and I'll be on the phone quicker than lightning." Abigail sai before she hurried out the door. Clyde straightened himself and took a deep breath. Maybe Adrian wouldn't remember him? But how could he forget him either? It wasn't like Clyde broke off a perfectly amazing physical relationship, just because Adrian caught feelings! Clyde was never proud of that moment, but he never thought it would come back to bite him. "Um... hi! Is there anything I should get started on? Anything I should know prior to you know, doing my job?" Clyde laughed nervously, pointing to his desk. His heart was beating faster than a hummingbirds wing. He felt as if he was going to have a heart attack, but that was probably an overreaction.
Shisu-Chan00
Adrian leaned against the front of his desk his body showing a ton of relaxed excitment whereas his image was one of a man who just rolled out of bed. He wasn't really sure what to think of the new guy but when Abigail brought him in he was even more shocked. All the sudden his appearance mattered but he gave no outward movement to fix it. He showed no recognition but in his brain he was freaking out. The man he had slept with for years and eventually fell in love with stood before him and he looked even better than when they first met. He said nothing until Abigail made a motion to leave, "Thank you dear, be sure to fax him the meeting lists so he isn't slacking on the first day." he said waving a hand and using playful tones like him and his COO usually do with one another. When she left his eyes focused solely on his new secretary. Clyde, the man who broke his heart. Adrian smiled but it was a hard smile that didn't reach his eyes. "So, have a seat get comfortable. Would you like some coffee? I haven't looked over your resume so I'm hoping you're everything Abigail says you are and more. I've had a bad run of secretaries who can't handle me so I need you to be able to keep up." he said pushing off from his desk and walking toward a small kitchenette that was on the right side of the room. He poured two glasses of coffee and brought them over setting them both on his desk. "So tell me about yourself Clyde. That was your name right? or would you prefer me to call you by your last name? We will be spending alot of time together so I don't see why we would need to be so formal." he chuckled lightly and sat in his chair letting out a gentle sigh. His back hurt from a long night with his delivery boy and he was ready to get some actual sleep already and the day had just started.
BunBunTheCatSnake
Adrian's eyes burned right through Clyde, and it made him squirm awkwardly. It seemed like an eternity until Adrian spoke, and he was expecting some question like, 'are you still a slut?' Or maybe something like, 'do you still find it fun to break hearts?' Thankfully though, it didn't seem like Adrian remembered him. Clyde relaxed his body and silently sighed, before he took a seat in front of Adrian. Clyde rubbed his watch anxiously, "thankfully I've had a lot of secretarial experience, so I could most definitely handle you." Clyde said as his eyes followed Adrian to the kitchen. He was happy Adrian made it so far in life. Clyde wanted to congratulate Adrian, but he didn't want to risk him remembering who he was. Clyde looked down at the coffee, and gave Adrian a thankful smile. "Clyde is fine." He said before he sipped his coffee."I really hate my last name, so Clyde is perfect." Clyde noticed the sigh and it actually reminded him of one of those long nights he's spend with him. Adrian's back hurt, he knew it did. Clyde knew Adrian for years, sand even after all those years he still remembered those small little things. Clyde took another sip of his coffee with a smile, "there's really nothing too interesting about me. I went to college for art, but that got me real far in life." Clyde rolled his eyes with a soft smile. "But enough about me. What about you?"
Shisu-Chan00
Adrian stopped rubbing his back and finally got comfortable peering at the computer for a moment before turning it off. He grabbed his coffee taking a sip of it. "Ah art school? Interesting have you come up with anything?" he peered over at the other from his desk. It was odd that Clyde would go to art school, sure he had always been creative minded but he never thought he would go to school for it. He figured Clyde's parents would have forced something more...stationary onto him like acounting. When the question of his own past and what all had happened came up he raised an eyebrow and chuckled. Of course he wanted to know about him, it was only half nature right? "Me? Ah I went to college and got a degree in business. My dad just so happened to be really really good friends with the old boss of this place and when he died, he and I were close you see, he left the business to me. I didn't think I could make it as successful as I have but you know, I am proud of it. I traveled a bit out of college saw the world and then came back to do all this." he motioned to the room around him and the business he had worked so hard to create. He didn't really think Clyde cared about what he had done with his life but it felt nice to talk to him like he did. "OH! I do have to tell you. Please call me by my last name, being my subordinate you can't call me Adrian in public." he shrugged and leaned back in his chair. Something about his name would probably make him want to get rid of his want to pretend he didn't know Clyde.
BunBunTheCatSnake
When Adrian asked him if he came up with anything he sank in his chair just a bit. His degree went towards doing commissions on Tumblr, but he could never tell Adrian that. He didn't get too far in life at all, and here was Adrian sitting on top of everyone. Clyde scratched his beauty mark awkwardly, "y-yeah. I guess you can say that..." He said sheepishly. Clyde was thankful when Adrian went to explain what hen had been up to these past years, and it made him feel genuinely happy for him. He got to travel, and even rose a company from building blocks. He smiled at Adrian as he spoke, secretly wishing he could go back in time to tell Adrian all that he will accomplish. Maybe it was best he broke it off when they were younger? Clyde would have done what he does best, and hold people back. The sudden OH made Clyde jump just a bit, and his eyes shot open. His mind went immediately to Adrian firing him because he remembered who he was, but thankfully it was just his over active imagination. Clyde raised an eyebrow at the request, and he nodded. "Okay..." He said slowly, clearly a bit confused. "May I ask why?" Clyde asked. Every other boss let him use their first names, so he found it weird Adrian wouldn't. Maybe it was a CEO thing? Shisu-Chan00
Adrian leaned back in his chair watching his old friend patiently. Well not so much old friends as ex-lovers. No not even that, ex-fuck buddies. His eyes traveled his face as nonchalantly as he could and let of a gentle chuckle at the name mention. "You have to understand that my COO is the only one who calls me by my name here in the office. It would assume we had a physical or even personal relationship with one another. No one needs to know what is better left unsaid." he stood and casually walked to the door. "I look forward to working with you...Clyde." the name rolled of his tongue like it did way back when. This time his husky voice had grown and matured and one could easily tell the years that had passed. Adrian was older, wiser, and definatily more handsome than he used to be. He slid his long fingers to the doorknob and opened it. "Please make yourself at home though not too comfortable. Many assume I'm sleeping with my secretaries." he said with a smirk and waved the man out. "The phone is wired to call my office directly if you need me at any time. Sure it calls other places but mostly just my office. Don't fuck up my meetings and appointments and we will be okay. I'm sorry to cut our conversation short but I'm exhausted and I have a ton of work to do." He knew Clyde could probably tell the signs of a long night of active "sleeping" so he didn't want to rub it in his face anymore. Not like he cared anyway but still. BunBunTheCatSnake
The sound of his name rolling off his tongue made a chill go down his spine. Adrian grew so much since he saw him last, and he couldn't help but wonder if something else grew as well. His face was still good looking, and it was obvious to him that Adrian was having sex. Clyde however felt as if he hadn't changed at all. He was still the same height, he still had was he thought was a cherub looking face, and he still had the same disdain for romantic relationships. The only thing that's changed with Clyde was the amount of people he slept with. "I'm eager as well, Adrian." Clyde said, as he stood up and walked to the door with him. Clyde couldn't help but smirk when Adrian said that people assumed that he slept with his secretaries. "I'll make sure that no one would suspect a thing." Clyde said as he walked out of the office, that smirk still on his lips. He turned around when Adrian started to talk again so he would know all of his attention was on him. "You can count on me, Mr. Raidcliff." Clyde said with confidence, as he walked to his desk and sat down. He looked over at the fax machine, seeing a few pieces of paper he grabbed them almost immediately and looked them over. Clyde was still dumbfounded that his boss was Adrian of all people. He always thought that he would never see him again, let alone work for him. But life had a weird way of bringing things back to the surface. Clyde leaned back in his computer while he entered the dates in the computer, and even emailed them to Adrian. He would bring a physical copy to him later, just so he had that extra list just in case. His eyes darted towards the office door, and a sigh escaped his lips. He laid his head down on the desk, groaning softly. It was just his luck that Adrian would pop right back in his life.
Shisu-Chan00
As the smaller male walked toward him Adrian could sense something off about him. He didn't give off anything other than the fact that he was comfortable saying the mans name. Did he assume that he remembered him? Adrian didn't want to remember what they did have and he tried his hardest not too. Though, when you have your first love infront of you after years of being absent it would sure cause a few things to come up. His eyes followed the small figure out of his office and toward his desk. "Be sure to keep me tied up with everything. Knock before you enter, I have some things going on sometimes that I wouldn't want to be inturrupted with." he smiled gently and let the door close behind him as he retreated into his office. Strange after so many years this kid was in his office as his secretary. This was going to be fun, especially if he indeed spent most of his time with his secretaries. Back then there was nothing more that Adrian wanted than to have Clyde love him but now there was a darker part of him that wanted this blonde man to fall for him instead. Not that he was going to be so cruel as to not love him back but I mean playing with him would prove to be amusing. Consideirng thats what he did to Adrian all those years ago. All Clyde had to do was ask around to realize that his old companion was no longer like he was all those years ago. He had had multiple sex partners and even found himself having sex regularly. He was your typical play boy who trapped all the hearts and broke them all in the same go. He was cruel with love and he has been since Clyde left him. They never were together but that doesn't mean that the CEO's heart didn't fall into the hands of the heartbreaker in the room next door. It was memories he would rather keep hidden and he would give no implication that he knew who Clyde was. As he crossed the room and sat down in his desk chair his eyes still unconsciously moved to the door. Was he dreaming? He shook his head trying to get the thoughts out of his mind as he sat up straighter to get some work done. He had an email already from Clyde and this caused him to groan. Working with him was going to prove difficult but he would just thrust himself into his job rather than worry about the man in the desk outside his office. He had back to back meetings most of the time anyway so he wouldn't have to see Clyde less he had to come back to the office. Mostly their relationship would be reserved over the phone and through scattered emails throughout long periods of time. Adrian prayed this went fine. If it didn't he would have to fire Clyde and find another secretary that wasn't his fuck buddy from high school. Thankfully being the CEO he could do whatever he wanted and if he didn't want to be a complete ass he could just talk to Abigail instead of dealing with Clyde and just pay him to stay in his office and look pretty. He didn't really know how to deal with it all he just hoped he wouldn't have to see him very often.
BunBunTheCatSnake
Clyde worked feverishly on his first day. He managed to catch up almost completely, only missing a few small details. He rolled his chair over by the printer, watching as pages upon pages of his report printed out. He threw his head back, looking at the ceiling. Besides discovering his boss was one of his many regrets, today was rather amazing. Hopefully he showcased his skills well enough today, for Adrian to be impressed. Though, if Clyde was being honest he would have quit the second he saw Adrian, but he needed the job. Financially he wasn't doing so hot, thought he would never admit it to Adrian. He probably lived in some mansion with servants and amazing cuisine! Clyde lived in a crappy studio in a bad neighborhood, and lived on potato chips these days. Clyde gathered up the extra schedule and his reports, before he moved towards the door. He took a deep breath, before he knocked softly against the door. "Mr. Raidcliff?" Clyde called out, biting his bottom lip nervously. "I have the reports in my hand. Can I come in?" He asked.
Shisu-Chan00
Adrian had been having a rough day. His lower back was hurting like no ones business and he was more than likely ready to head home by lunch time. He ate by himself like usual working his hardest to keep the company afloat. It was a hard job even though he was swauve and kept the others thinking it wasn't. He worked hard and he hated when things didn't go his way in business ventures. One of the five meetings he had today ran long and he was pushed to eating his lunch around 3:30pm. This put his entire day out of wack not to mention the secretary sitting outside. His mind reeled when he thought about Clyde and he tried his hardest to keep his brain from going that direction. That was the last thing he needed right now was to think about the secretary he had banged back when he was in high school. As if he could feel Adrian thinking about him he knocked on the door announcing that he had paperwork for him. "Yes...come on in." he said rather exhausted as he rolled back from his desk some. "what do you have for me? Nothing too complicated I hope I'm honestly ready to go home." he said with a gentle chuckle trying not to let the exhaustion from the night before and today show on his face. He would have to keep his after hours business ventures to weekends rather than weekdays if he wanted to get through the week.
BunBunTheCatSnake
Clyde walked in the second Adrian granted it. He held a fairly large stack of paper, looking a bit tired as well. "Oh no, nothing too big. It's just a report... nothing too big, despite how it may look." He gently sat them on the desk, his eyes grazing over Adrian's face. He looked exhausted... would he even be safe driving home at this rate? Clyde gnawed on his bottom lip, trying to decide if he wanted to do the right thing or ignore it. He silently cursed himself before he gave Adrian a smile, "do you want a ride home today?" He asked, rubbing the back of his neck. "I still have a few things I have to do anyways, so I don't mind staying a bit longer so I know you get home okay?" Clyde offered. "I'll even pick you up in the morning, and you'll have your car here so you can drive home tomorrow?" Despite what other men would say about Clyde, he was a pretty good guy. He wasn't perfect in no shape or form, and he did have a tendency to run away from someone the second they caught feelings. But when an opportunity like this came his way, he couldn't just walk away - no matter how much he wanted to. "I really don't mind doing it. I would feel awful if you fell asleep at the wheel and something happened to you." Besides, Adrian and Clyde used to be reasonably close. Just because they didn't talk at all these past few years, and Clyde gets anxious around him doesn't mean he still can't do something nice for him. Shisu-Chan00
The stack of papers made Adrian slide his glasses from his face and rub the bridge of his nose. "Nothing too big right." he chuckled pulling the papers closer to him as he let his glasses fall to the desk top. "Looks like you did relatively well for your first day on the job.." he trailed off peering over the papers. The question threw him off and his eyes quickly shifted to the man standing in his office. He let a smile slide over his face and he shook his head. "No no. Please don't do that." he said with a shake of his head as he stretched. "I can take myself home I doubt I will fall asleep at the wheel anyway. I'm sort of used to being this tired. Running a business is hard work and I can't really have my subordinates drive me to and from work without others asking questions now can I?" He smiled gently and pushed the papers away from him. "Thank you again for the offer but I'm fine." Adrian didn't want to deal with Clyde outside of work. Let alone in a personal setting where he could slip up and accidently say something that clued Clyde into the fact he remembered him. He ran a hand through his hair peering at his computer as it popped up a message. "I have a few other things on my list I need to get done but by all means leave if you're finished. Its your first day, try not to over work yourself on the first one." A gentle chuckle fell from his lips as he turned his attention to the message answering it easily. He figured if he ignored the question Clyde would just leave the office as planned. If anything Adrian would fall asleep on the couch in his office if he felt that he couldn't drive. BunBunTheCatSnake
Clyde rolled his eyes and smiled at Adrian. Stubborn ass, Clyde thought to himself as he walked towards the door. "Well, I'll see you tomorrow then. If you change your mind at all, my offer still stands. My number is in the system." Clyde said before he opened the door and walked back to his desk to pack his things and leave. His phone buzzed, which made him check it immediately. It was a text from his best friend Liam inviting him out to this high end club. He was probably blowing the owner or something, if he knew Liam at all. The sound of a club where all the rich cats go to spend their money sounded wonderful, but he was just too damn tired. He declined the invite, and picked up his lunch box and coat. Clyde went to take a step forward, but felt hesitant on leaving just yet. He felt bad leaving, when Adrian was working so hard... Clyde took a deep breath and sat his lunch box down. He wanted to go home, but he still had to catch up. Clyde took a deep breath and walked towards Adrian's door. "If you're still here, I'll stay too. It's best to get this out of the way anyways." Clyde said through the door. "If... if that's okay anyways?" Clyde quickly added.
Shisu-Chan00
Adrian held up a hand and waved it. "Good evening. Drive safe." he said ignoring the comment about his number being in the system still. Of course he knew it by heart from his long time as having unrequinted love with the man across from him. When he finally left Adrian sighed and ran a hand through his hair the smile that had been on his face seeming to melt off. He was shocked only moments later to hear the man he once loved speaking to him through the door. He was staying? How much longer was he planning to work? Not even the janitors were out this late. "Ah sure, sure you can stay. I'll just finish up and we can close up together or something." He called back through the door as he relaxed slightly. Knowing Clyde he probably was feeling horrible for leaving his boss here. He stood and grabbed his phone before moving to the sofa. He sat down and opened up his phone moving to the emails staring to answer them all. Something must have happened while he was typing because moments later his eyes grew heavy and his body found its way to lay down on the sofa. He was out like a light in no time his tie undone and the top buttons of his shirt as well. He of course hadn't planned on falling asleep and at this rate Clyde would be stuck here all night less he came in to check on Adrian. But his exhaustion and work just all caught up and he found himself passed out.
BunBunTheCatSnake
Hours came and hours went. Clyde underestimated how much work he had left, which was both a curse and a blessing because it didn't seem as if Adrian was going to be done anytime soon. Clyde rubbed his face, a soft yawn slipping through his lips. His eyes shifted towards the clock on his computer screen. It was 12:40... He was supposed to be gone around nine. At least he got over time in! Plus he was just glad that Adrian wasn't the only one getting extra work in. It just didn't seem right that Adrian was the only one getting everything done, and Clyde went home. As much as Clyde wished he wasn't the kind to stay longer at work, he was. Clyde wrapped up a few last minuet details and looked them over, before he printed them out. He let out a loud yaw while it printed out, his eyes watering he was so tired. He grabbed the small stack and knocked on the door. After a few times knocking and receiving no reply back Clyde stuck his head through the door. "Adrian?" He said softly, his eyes scanning the room before they landed on the sleeping man. Almost as if there might be someone else in the room, Clyde gave it another quick scan before walking into the office. He sat the paper down softly on the desk, before his head turned to his boss. His lips curled and his breath hitched when he saw the undone tie and the ew buttons giving him a peek at how well Adrian matured. Clyde always found Adrian to be attractive, but it seemed these years just made him even more so. If he got even more handsome, then his skills in bed probably got better too? Or maybe even his kissing? Clyde never admitted to it, but till this day Adrian's lips were the only ones to take his breath away. Would they still have that effect? Clyde tip toed closer to Adrian. He could feel his cheeks get warm with his step, and he felt stupid for it. Clyde would never be able to have a relationship, and he learned his mistake with trying to be fuck buddies before. Someone always catches feelings, and Clyde could never reciprocate those feelings. Clyde shook his head, trying to expell those feelings of lust and that need of wanting to kiss him. Maybe he was just tired? It had to be that. He had to wake up Adrian though, and then he could go home and forget all about those feelings. Clyde bent over, and lightly shook Adrian's shoulder. "Adrian?" Clyde said softly. "It's time to wake up, Adrian."
Shisu-Chan00
Adrian dreamed of nothing of importance. Some small whisps of Clyde slid through his mind as he slept having gone to bed thinking about the other man. It was foolish of him to even have those feelings and when he felt a push on him that pulled him out of his sleep he let a moan leave his lips. "Clyde..?" He asked peering up at the other with a look of confusion wondering why he was here again. It took a few moments to remember everything and he groaned once more rubbing his eyes. "Sorry sorry you could have left. I'm surprised you're still here..." he chuckled and sat up his eyes roaming to Clyde. Its as if he just remembered that his shirt was undone and he clicked his tongue moving his fingers to fasten the buttons. He stood easily and gave Clyde a look. One he only remembers giving him after they had spent an evening with one another. It was rare for Clyde to spend the night when they did fuck but every once in awhile he did and it filled Adrian with a sense of hope for their relationship. He didn't catch it himself as he walked to his desk grabbing his coat, keys, wallet, and phone. "Alright lets get out of here. I need to get home before I pass out again on the sofa." he chuckled and headed to his office doors. "Coming?"
BunBunTheCatSnake
The moan sent a shiver down his spine. There was a part of him that wanted to beg Adrian to fuck him, but then there was that logical part of him that knew it was beyond a bad a idea. Clyde looked down at his feet and rubbed them together awkwardly. "Yeah, of course I'm still here." Clyde said, rubbing the back of his neck while Adrian buttoned up his shirt. It felt weird watching his ex-fuck buddy button up a shirt. It wasn't like they did anything, but it kind of felt like that to him. It reminded him of those few quickies they would do before school or before their parents would get back home. Clyde was always so loud during sex as a teenager... now he was loud, but could at least suppress it. Clyde looked up at Adrian just in time to catch that certain little look. He scrunched up his face in realization, before he started to feel panicked. There it was... that look... It reminded him of those nights he would stay over with his head in Adrian's chest, the room smelling of sex. Shit, Clyde thought to himself as he rubbed his face with the palms of his hands. What if Adrian did remember him? How could he not though? They had a rather long history. Should he bring it up? Should he leave it? What should he say? Adrian's voice snapped him back into reality, his eyes shifting up to look at him. "O-oh... yeah..." Clyde said a bit distantly. He took a small step forward before he stopped in his tracks. "Or... can we..." Clyde trailed off, before he shook his head. No... they shouldn't talk about it. "Never mind. It's stupid." Clyde said with a little laugh, before walking out of the office. Shisu-Chan00
Adrian felt confusion wash over him as he heard the words leave his old lovers lips. "Hey no what were you going to say?" he asked his resolve leaving him. He reached out and grabbed Clyde's wrist, "Nothing is stupid. Tell me whats on your mind. If you don't I'll never know and it'll just eat away at you. So please what were you going to say Clyde." he gently let go of him feeling a shock of electricity slide through his body at the touch. He couldn't help it, there was still something inside of him that loved Clyde. He was his first love and that love never goes away. He knew it was stupid to love this man considering he had never had a serious relationship in his life but Adrian couldn't help what his heart felt. He didn't want to cause a scene and he sure didn't want to hurt Clyde. Well maybe he did just a little but that soft voice of his that trailed of as he was about to say something made Adrian curious and his resolve drop. He wanted to know what was on his mind just like back then. Clyde was never one to talk about how he felt or what he was thinking and Adrian often found himself saying the same sentence he had just said more than once. He was always trying to understand him, trying to figure out what he could do to make him love him. Then he realized he was a great person just the way he was and that Clyde was wrong for not falling for him. He indeed did everything he possibly could to make Clyde spoiled even if they never dated. He treated this man like a prince, like any boyfriend would want to be treated. And yet he was still single to this day.
BunBunTheCatSnake
Clyde couldn't tell if his heart was beating fast out of panic or because he genuinely felt flustered. He looked at Adrian, his eyes wide and his lips just barely a part. He probably heard Adrian tell him not to bottle things up from him a million times, and every time he couldn't help but feel a little defensive and happy all at the same time. He turned on his heels to face Adrian completely. "We're not in high school anymore, Adrian!" Clyde blurted out, frowning deeply. His cheeks were rosy red, and his firsts clenched until his knuckles were white. He looked up at Adrian, thinking he looked so attractive at the moment - fuck, he looked attractive all the time. Clyde hoped Adrian knew he wasn't going to talk about his feelings... no, it always ended how all their nights went. "But let's pretend for just tonight we are," Clyde whispered before he grabbed Adrian's tie to pull him down to his level before he kissed him on the lips. Somewhere he knew it was wrong, that maybe he should have said something like, 'hey. It's me. I remember. I should leave.' Instead, Clyde did what he always did: he let his body talk instead. He wanted Adrian right now, even if he knew it was wrong or it would send him the wrong signals. He was selfish when it came to his own sexual desires, and he was well aware of that. Shisu-Chan00
Adrian watched as Clyde seemed to think about leaving without saying anything. However when he turned around the expression that was on his face made the other man step back slightly. He was confused, he had never seen an expression on his face before and the words that followed only caused him to open his mouth and close it at the same time trying to come up with the words to say to Clyde before all of this went south really fast. He was even more shocked to feel the lips against his own. After a moment of shock he kissed him back pulling his hands up and cupping the others face in his hands. He groaned softly against the others lips. His mind was all over the place as he picked Clyde up and wrapped his legs around his waist to carry him to his desk. He sat him down on the desk his lips pulling him in deeper to the kiss. His tongue roamed into Clydes mouth only for him to pull back panting slightly. "We. Are. Not. In. High. School." he said softly breathing against the others lips. "I will never...be that way with you again Clyde...if you want me you can stop taking my body and possibly think about my heart to." he said and stepped back running a hand through his hair. "Leave...Come back to work tomorrow if you want but if not I will understand. But we aren't going to have this relationship." his eyes shown hurt as he looked over at Clyde. His body was apparently wanting Clyde and that was evident and even his heart wanted him too but he knew all too well that he wasn't going to love him. "Just go please..." he said his face turning away from Clyde like he was hard to look at.
BunBunTheCatSnake
Clyde started to unbuckle his pants the second Adrian sat him on the desk. He wanted him more than ever. His manhood started to get painful in his pants, and he was silently begging for Adrian to do something about it. Adrian's lips still had this power of taking away his breath, and his heart was beating faster than it ever did with anyone else. Clyde wasn't in love with Adrian, but he just lusted over him more than anyone he's ever been with - or that's what he thought anyways. Clyde was just about to pull down Adrian's pants when he pulled away. Clyde's face fell, and he let go of Adrian's pants. Guilt and dread started to consume his every being, and common sense started to flood back into his head. He cupped his face, unable to look at that hurt expression on Adrian's face. He never thought about what the heart might want with anyone... it was all physical, and more often than not it always ended up like this. "I'm sorry..." Clyde said as he got up, his erection pretty much gone at this point. "I..." Clyde quickly shut his mouth and looked away. "I guess... I'll see you tomorrow." Clyde said quickly walking away, as he rubbed his neck. All of his possessions were left at his desk, a promise that he'd be back tomorrow. He quickly got back into the car, resting his forehead on the steering wheel for a few minuets to wallow in guilt and self pity. Clyde wished he could get over that deep fear of commitment, but he just... couldn't. He tried going on dates, and they usually ended up being one night stands. He tried at being friends with benifits, and they always caught feelings. What was so fucking amazing about Clyde? Even if Adrian and Clyde got together, Adrian would probably wake up one morning to discover he fell out of love with him anyways. Love was like a loli-pop: it's sweet at first, but eventually all that remains after a while is a fragile stick.
Shisu-Chan00
Adrian felt sick to his stomach. He quickly redid his pants shaking his head at himself. Things were so easy to fall back into, the slight naturalness to their actions made him scared. He could have easily gave in and allowed Clyde access to him physically once again but that would only make their relationship worse. He didn't want it to be like high school even though their connection physically was still apparent. He grabbed the stapler on his desk and chucked it at the wall seeing it throw a hole into it. He groaned and sank to his ass infront of his desk realizing that tears were sliding down his cheeks. Was it not good enough to let Clyde use him in high school that he wanted to come into his adult life and start using him for his physical needs here too. Was that all he was good for? Pain welled up in his chest and he felt as if he was a teenager again fighting his one sided love for Clyde every day. His head rested in his hands as his shoulders shook both from anger and from being upset. He couldn't help the tears sliding down his face as the thought of being only good for sex ran through his mind. He had to have a chance for romance but even now he was only having hookups and one night stands with those around him. He never actually dated now, when he tried it ended horribly and resulted in a fired secretary. After a few moments he stood wiping his eyes and walking over to the wall letting his fingers run over the hole. He then reached down and grabbed the stapler and walking it back to his desk setting it down as if it had never moved. He wanted to go home, to spend some time alone for awhile. Though his puffy eyes were still watery and he was exhausted. Far too sleepy to drive home on his own. He grabbed his keys, wallet, and phone sliding them into his pockets before he went behind his desk. Adrian slid his arms through his jacket only to walk to the door and turn the light off in his office. it was as if nothing had happened in their, as if the two men hadn't just fought within its walls. Adrian found his way down to the parking garage heading to his car. He quickly got in and drove home. The lights from the streets were almost hypnotic as he drove home. The streets were vacant from cars seeing how late it was on his dash. They had spent all evening at his office and they would be back in about 6 hours to show back up for work. His home was only a quick fifteen minutes from the office so as he pulled up into the apartments garage he was more than happy to be home. When he got up to his room he flopped down on the bed not even bothering to change. He just loosened his tie and quickly got into a comfortable spot to fall asleep for the evening. He didn't want to think about the nights events he just wanted to sleep and go to work like nothing had happened.
BunBunTheCatSnake
The loud repetitive sound of his alarm woke Clyde up. Without looking Clyde reached fo the alarm and turned it off, all the while groaning loudly. The second he opened his eyes he was met with dread and guilt, and it made him sick and nervous to go into work today. What on earth possessed him to kiss Adrian? He could have just walked out the door and pretended nothing happened, but instead Clyde did what he always did and went to have sex with Adrian. Which put him where he was presently; laying in bed, wishing he could fake his death and start from scratch. But Clyde knew all too well that he would fall back into his old habits. Clyde forced himself out of bed, his guilt weighing him down. He had a job to do, whether he liked it or not. After Clyde got ready he immediately hopped into his car and drove to work. He could feel the sweat build up with each passing second. He was going to lose his job for sure... How could he even keep it? He majorly crossed a line with Adrian last night... Oh god, Adrian... The look on his face last night stuck into his mind like glue. He looked so heartbroken, and Clyde made him feel that way. He turned into work, and parked into his parking spot. He walked in, keeping his head down. Thankfully it was early in the morning, so there were only a handfull of people at the office. Clyde clocked in and sat in his desk. His heart was beating like a drum. Adrian probably sat in his office this very second. He rested his face in his hands and took in a deep breath. He needed to focus and get to work. Clyde peeked through his fingers and his eyes fell on his lunch bag. There was a twinkie in there... maybe he could give it to Adrian as a peace offering? It wouldn't erase years of pain, but at least it was something? Besides, he would have to go into his office sooner than later. Clyde mapped out Adrian's meetings for today and emailed it to him, and printed an extra to save him time. In between for letting it print he grabbed the twinkie from his lunch box. His eyes shifted towards a piece of paper, his lips forming a smile. Back in high school he would send notes to Adrian and fold them into a paper crane. Sure they were usually places and times he was available, but it would be different this time! Clyde grabbed the paper and wrote a corny little joke on top of the paper to make Adrian smile, and then wrote out "I'm sorry for everything," on the bottom. He quickly folded it up into a crane, before he grabbed the scheduel for the day and the twinkie. Clyde held his breath before he knocked softly on the door. "Adrian? I have a list of your meetings today..." Clyde said through the door softly.
