REquest for recomendation on BL Novel

Hello,

I love gay romance since I am gay myself but most of the romance are to much focused on sex.

 

Sex is welcomed when it is necessary but too much is hard to take.

 

Are there any Books which are focused more on the romance part?

 

Like authors Ann-Katrin Byrde, R. Cooper.[/COLOR]

 

Can anyone recommend books that are focused on Romance mostly or just slice of life with gay characters.

I loved "In the middle of somewhere" series. All three books were a lot of fun, and, while there was some hot sex, it was never a focus of the book. It's a trilogy and every book centers around a different relationship with a different dynamic. I recommend wholeheartedly:D

 

If you're open-minded and you can read a story about werewolves, "Wolfsong" is also a good choice. Sex is introduced very late into the story, and it's never the main driving force for the characters. The romance doesn't start right away, taking its time to introduce the characters and set up a story, but once it does, wow it's good:D

 

I haven't read that many BL books so far, so hopefully other users will give you some more recommendations:D

Upd: All's Fair series by Josh Lanyon was pretty fun. It's a mystery novel, so it's not exactly slice of life, but I enjoyed the mystery in the books, and I'm pretty picky about that. But the sex scenes are pretty hot, even if they are not that frequent.

true, i liked romance as well. tho i don't think i'm that romantic ha.. All Fair's by Josh Lanyon is good. Highly recommend that. In fact I loved almost every books by JL. But how about try these first:

- Ghost on my couch by L.A.Gilbert

- The Lion & The Crow by Eli Easton

- Raven's Rest by Stephen Osborne

[ THis has nice plot and caring for each other is the thing I crave most in a Romance novel which is here]

2. Mercy Hills Pack by Ann-Katrin Byrde

[Even though it is about werewolfe it has more humenly plot in my opinion and a very nice series. Her other books are awsome too and the books I read of her are mostly based on romance]

3. Beings in Love series by R. Cooper

[i am currently reading 3rd book from this series It is also based on love cause there is no single mention of sex in there as where I am now]

4. Taming the beast by Andrew grey

[this is like the gay version of beauty and the beast but it is nice]

5. Regent's Park Pack series by Annabelle Jacobs

[even though it is full of hot sex the way the characters care for each other and feel for each other is touching]

i got to read 10% of wolfsong. i would say, yeah i kinda like it. bc there's pack as family. i love reading family stuff like. now i remember. i wasn't 100% hated shifters bc i used to read derek/stiles fanfiction (surprise!) lol so gonna continue reading.

I think you took the quote one step too far xD But I can see the appeal:D (Actually there is even a manhwa about a guy who turned into a girl and went to the past to date himself:D I didn't get too far into the story, not really my thing, but it exists and we should all appreciate this fact:D)

Fated mates is less like soulmates more like instalove because of the smell or crap like this. Like you meet someone and know this is the one for you for all your life and you can't ever love anyone else. It's very popular with shifters and I hate it.. I like it when you meet a person, you get to know him, you spend time together and then you make a CHOICE to love this person, to be with this person.. not just get horny because he smells nice:D But then I might be a romantic xD

 

But Wolfsong did talk about choice a bit, and it's not a big part of the story and it's amazing, so I can still like it:D
