Overwatch (the game) yaoi-BL

I didn't know if this was the right place to say/ask this but seeing as Overwatch isn't a BL game...

I thought general BL talk would do just fine haha

 

Overwatch is a shooter made by Blizzard and it has a lot of great characters with a story in it!

And with great characters with background comes... yes yes... shipping hurray!

The game isn't in flat anime style although you can't really call it realistic.

Overwatch has a lot of manga/anime sorts of fanart which I greatly adore.

Also the game itself is tons of fun and the ability to emote makes it even more fun.

Damn... a world without BL would be so very VERY boring...

 

So here are my questions:

1. Any people around here who like/play Overwatch?

2. If yes, what are your top 5 favorite characters?

3. And what are your favorite ships?

 

My answers:

1. Yes, I love and play Overwatch (on Xbox and PC)

2. I hate picking but... gotta pick em

- Hanzo

- McCree

- Genji

- Soldier76

- Junkrat

The top 5 I play the most right now is different though xD

1. Hanzo 2. Mercy 3. Moira 4. Reaper and 5. D.Va

3. My favorite ship would be McHanzo, that's Hanzo x McCree (no surprise there).

But also love Reaper76, that's Soldier 76 x Reaper and GenCree, which is Genji x McCree.

I hate to admit it but I also like me some Shimadacest! Which is Hanzo x Genji.

Well i know the game only from advertisements and it has some freaky beings in there, like a gorilla or an skater

 

The thing is i am not very familiar with shooter, for more than one reason. To simple and the community tends to be very aggressive especially towards new players.

 

But the Game is beatiful.

 

Thinking about other Blizazrd games i wonder if WoW has some boylove aswell....haha a dwarf with a blood elf?! Hell yeah. Or a Pandaraen with an Orc?

I personally don't like shooters, if I play them too long I get sea-sick

But seeing as I play all the Blizzard games, I just had to try and I fell in love.

It really doesn't feel like a shooter, it's awesome. The people who play it though...

They are really shooter-players, lucky for me I have good ignore skills

I have been playing WoW for 13 years so I grew a nice thick skin!

 

Yaoi/BL in the Warcraft universe is also a thing! Lucky us

But seeing as it's a VERY big universe, people mostly use their own characters.

Pairing up your own character with a leader, dragon or criminal is nice

Sticking to the storyline & build in chars is, in my opinion, more fun though.

I personally love Fandral x Lor'Themar, Thassarian x Koltira and Illidan x Arthas.

But also Rommath x Kael'Thas, Krasus x Rhonin and Anduin x Wrathion.

I play a lot of male characters so they have fun as well haha

They also have a shitload of Orc, Pandaren and Blood elf action.

Dwarves not so much... or at least, I paid it less attention

 

For the more hardcore stuff, there are some great Warcraft porn vids out there!

Which depicts a little more rare encounters like Orcs x Draenei, Worgen x Elves,

Wolves/beasts x Humans, Dragon x Elves, Trolls x Elves or Tauren x Humans/Worgen.

They are mostly hetero though, the gay scene is rarer in video's.

But still, worth watching, it also has some storyline! (I know right )

Yes i see its already the Case. There is something special about brother hoods be it temple knights in real life or warclan-Brothers in a Fantasy Game with Orcs involved. I think the Movie did a good job portraying Durotar, his emotions and his fears. At his side always his close brother...really carrying. Also Garona and Lothar or how most know him as "ragnar" from vikings were he already had some BL Vibe.

 

And yes Arthas and Ilidan are very interesting, but not so much Arthas, because he can be very selfish, wile i still believe his true self was corrupted by the Lich King. Ilidan is hated aswell because of some questionable decisions in the past by his own race, while i strongy believe he did it out of love for the world and the apocalyptic dangers he encounters. He must be one of the most complex charakters the Lore has written.

 

So...it makes sense for them to be paired together, because of the amount of hate they got during their rightous prime and both were expelled.

 

But ohh dear Paladin....the world Blizzard has created is so huge and has so many fantastic creatures, humanoids, places and so on. The community does'nt deserve it most of the time for being very mean towards each other and not representing what they should.

Ahhh yes! Durotan and Orgrim are both super awesome and the movie was great in showing them

Letting your fantasy run wild behind the scenes of their 'brotherhood' is very nice indeed haha

I hope they make a second movie which shows more Garona and Lothar, I don't know why this movie got so much hate...

 

Arthas started out as a good-natured but slightly selfish prince, that tends to happen with spoiled people

The will to save his people from the scourge drove him way too far into being a self-destructive killer.

And so... an easy target for the Lich King's corruption. But I do like his selfishness as the new Lich King.

Just doing and taking what he wants, mostly by force. Him fighting Illidan multiple times... It's nice

 

Illidan, on the other hand, is probably the most misunderstood character in the Warcraft universe.

Of course, he was young and power hungry but a lot of the elves were, that's what you get with being immortal.

It never seems enough... right? But at heart, he means well, always has. And love drove him further.

Yes, he didn't always make the right decisions, that is true. But he did learn from them and kept trying.

I have been an Illidan fan from the very start and even with him becoming a demon, I didn't waver.

I read all the Warcraft books/comics/mangas and played all the games, Illidan is still one of my favs!

Not the mention the 600EURO figure that watches me work all day xD haha Illidan is awesome

 

Indeed my friend, indeed. The wonderful World of Warcraft is just too much for all those b*tches out there.

It deserves all the praise it gets and a little less critique would be great

Hi, I see this thread is a year old! XD; But I was hoping you were still looking for overwatch people!

I have the game but I hate playing it! (Whoopsie) I just don't like fps... At LEAST if it let me do 3rd person, I might be able to figure out what's happening, but no...
