"On time and excellent as always Rin!" A twig of a man twirls in place clearly thrilled over something. As the man spins the multi-colored scarf swirls around him making the male seem as though he's in the middle of a rainbow tornado. Another man, dressed semi-casual in slacks and button down shirt with the sleeves rolled up and the top few buttons undone, just stares at the seemingly never-ending human spinning top. "I'll get the script to the printers right away!"

With that the man grabs a large stack of papers then rushes off without waiting for a reply. Rolling his eyes Rin watches as the smaller male runs out the coffee shop though there is a faintly bemused expression on his face. Shaking his head Rin turns with a soft snort, he slings his jacket over his shoulder and leaves. Glancing outside he frowns in thought for a moment before deciding that it's overcast enough to walk back to his place.

Despite that he still puts on his sunglasses to cover and protect his red eyes, the key sign that he's albino and not just lacking pigment in his hair or shockingly pale. Though he has to be a little careful of his skin when it's sunny. Pausing outside, Rin takes a deep breath while pushing a hand through his white hair before turning towards home. It's been awhile since he's been able to really stretch his legs.

With that thought in mind, Rin begins to ponder the time and effort it would take to plan a small get away. Just to his small cabin in the forest, but that's still a bit a travel to get to. Since I've turned in my finished script I should be able to at least get a week away. Bring the laptop though... The albino thinks to himself. Start the outline for the next one.

Soft hazel eyes looked towards the top of crowded trees. The sun slowly crept through small openings allowing light to enter the forest. Soft diamond like water droplets rolled down leaves folding them slightly until the water became too heavy for them to hold any longer. Grass below remained untouched except the section where a small body created an outline.

His body felt heavy, almost as if he had been tossed around and left on the grassy forest floor for dead. Lifting his hands up the boy took a careful look at his palms and fingertips. Slowly he places them by his side to aid him in sitting up. A wave of pain ran through his head leaving a throbbing sensation, his body screamed to lay back down but he ignored it.

His voice did not come easily but it did not help, he was alone.

After some mindless walking the boy had concluded a few things. He did not know who he was or where he came from, he assumed his name was Kiyomi since that was the only thing he could remember and he was lost. On top of it all it was starting to get chilly and the forest did not seem to be cooperating with him.

"Maybe I'm already dead" he told himself as he hugged his own body.

With a soft satisfied huff, Rin steps back after zipping his bag closed with his hands on his hips. His get away stack consists of a dufflebag and his laptop bag. Turning, the pale figure goes to do a quick check through of his bathroom and office to make sure that he isn't forgetting anything important. There are some clothes at the cabin, but it's still a good idea to bring a few things hence the dufflebag. With a small nod Rin concludes that he has what he needs for some time away from the city, but most importantly, away from people.

Grabbing his bags he leaves his apartment and heads to the garage to get into his car. Tossing the bags into the trunk, Rin gets into his gleaming and barely used vehicle. With a deep purr, the car turns on and soon the albino is speeding away and out of the city with the first hints of dawn making themselves known. The further the male gets from the city the more relaxed he appears and eventually a faint smile appears on his face. With music playing softly over the sound system he settles into a long drive to get far from the city and deep into the mountains.

After only a few stops, the car rolls to a stop inside a garage attached to a small, but cozy, cabin. The garage is little more than a carport in terms of size, but is sufficient to house and protect the costly looking vehicle. Gathering his bags, Rin heads into the cabin through the attached door as the garage door rumbles to a close. Stepping inside the albino lets out a long soft sigh that ends in a smile as all remaining tension briefly fall away leaving the man looking far more warm and approachable.

After a moment though, the warmth fades though very little of the tension comes back as he sets about turning on the heater and running through the checklist. Electricity on? Check. Firewood? Check. Basic cleaning and household supplies? Check. Test the taps? Check. Food? Hmm.... Rin frowns at the selection in front of him though doesn't seem surprised. Only non-perishables are kept in the cabin due to his brief and infrequent visits. This, of course, means mostly canned foods and the like. "Looks like I'll need to have Toshiro send food..." He states blandly.

Leaving the near empty cupboards, he shoots off a quick text to his editor before doing a quick touch up cleaning. Once the layer of dust is taken care of, and fresh sheets are on the bed Rin decides to make himself a cup of coffee and sit on the porch. Eventually a delivery truck meanders up to the cabin and a guy drops off a few cartons of fresh food (milk, eggs, cheese, meat, and so on). Having finished his current cup of coffee he goes inside to put away the food after refilling his cup. That done he starts up a nice fire in the fireplace in the small dining/living room area that is part of the open floor plan. The only thing really tucked away are the two small rooms and bathroom which are down a short hallway.

Satisfied things are well settled for the moment, he heads to the bathroom to take a shower before calling it a night.

It has probably been two days since Kiyomi had woken up in the forest. Somehow he had managed to find a stream of water which had helped his undeniable thirst, but nothing else had worked out quite as well. The previous day he had fallen into a ditch like area and broken his jeans causing his skin to scrape and bleed. The forest seemed to go on forever almost like it was deliberately locking him away, and as if things couldn't get worse his first night he was almost scared half to dead. Right after the sun had disappeared in the horizon a sudden light began to surround him. At first he though someone had found him but then he realized it was his own body. Scared he tried running away until he looked back seeing every step he had taken lit up. Agitated he had tripped and rolled into a ball until he calmed himself enough to look at his skin again.

"W-why..." his eyes water and his own falling tears lit up the grass below.

Little sleep came that night as he tried to figure out what was happening, but he was thankful that at least he wan't in complete darkness.

His second night had been better. Kiyomi waited by the stream for night to fall and once the light returned he took a long hard look at himself in the reflecting water. It seemed his eyes were able to glow as well, a beautiful gem like blue and his hair became lighter. This time he wasn't as terrified of the light it was almost comforting and fell asleep soundly after checking his surroundings.

That morning Kiyomi woke up shaking, the wind was stronger than the last few days and his small body felt frozen in place. It wasn't until a few minutes after the sound had dimmed that he heard something new. It wasn't anything he heard before but that was enough for him to get on his feet and run towards it. The more he ran the faster the sound went away.

"N-no wait!" he screamed hoping anyone would hear him.

"WAIT!!!!" his feet came to a complete stop. He had found a trail of two thin lines were grass did not grow as much. Who ever it had been they couldn't be too far. Kiyomi began to walk down the trail.

It took a few hours before he finally reached the end of the forest. The trail turned to something else directing towards what looked like a town, nothing he had ever seen before. There was still some light which Kiyomi concluded would help find out were he was before he became a gleaming lantern.

The next morning Rin lets loose a jaw cracking yawn while lazily stretching out before settling back under the covers to enjoy a few more quiet moments. Finally he moves and slowly gets out of bed to get some breakfast and coffee. Taking his meal out to the porch, he sits on a step to enjoy the sight and sounds of the forest while eating. As the male sits there, he can feel himself balancing and righting as the natural energies and untainted elements flow through him.

It is times like this where he is most tempted to leave the city and go back to the forest. Not like he can overly follow his natural instinct while amongst the humans, but at the same time it is the easiest way to avoid capture and detection from those who seek his kind. Sighing softly, Rin gets up to clean up after his meal. Done he once more goes out and with an almost faintly excited look, seems as though he lets out a soft breath of tension. As though stepping through a film, the normal, albeit albino, human changes into something that while still obviously male - is no longer human.

Sunlight reflects off a white wolf ear that twitches slightly as closed eyes slowly open to reveal eyes that are no longer red, but golden and set in a face that now has odd markings. The physical changes are the most obvious and noticeable, but now the male exudes a certain presence and authority that, while there before, had previously been kept well hidden under that apparently thin veneer.

Stepping with barely any sound, Rin heads deeper into the forest which almost seems to welcome him and enfold him in its embrace. As he walks, a tail lazily swishes behind him as he soon disappears into the forest despite one thinking that he would stand out with his coloring and traditional garb. Eventually he makes his way to one of the higher parts of the mountain and settles down at a hidden cove of old wisteria trees, a clear pond, and a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains.

Sitting beneath one of the flower laden trees, Rin dips a hand into the cool spring fed pond to drink. Just as he drifts off slightly, Rin senses the forests' energy shift. Eyes slowly reopening, but not seeming to focus on anything specific, he tries to pinpoint the source. Frowning slightly when he is unable to tell what the disturbance is, whether it is human or yokai focused, Rin pushes himself up to go explore in the area he feels that is coming from. Setting a steady but unhurried pace, the yokai heads out to investigate the disturbance in his territory.

It felt like he walked for days before he finally reached the town. People could be heard talking in the distance and around him, the city was lively and energetic. He copied most of the people, walked were they walked and stopped when they stopped. The "carriages" seemed to pass at a dangerously high speed and he did not want to find out what happened when someone got hit with one.

The shops to his right greeted visitors happily and some smelled incredibly amazing. He realized he had grown hungry and would most likely have to eat. Before Kimoyi could think of anything else he bumped into someone and quickly apologized and kept walking.

'What am I going to do' he asked himself. He was glad not to be in the forest alone, but now with all the hectic energy around him he wished he was back there. On top of it, there was no one who he could ask for help, he remembered once again that he didn't have the slightest idea on how he got there. Kimoyi's eyes lowered to the ground as he thought of what to do.

He was limited in all sorts of ways, with food, knowledge and sunlight, he began to notice that night would fall in a few hours.

The decision after that was easy, he would return to the forest think of a plan and go back to the city once day light returned but before he could do all that he realized he had been following people for too long and had lost his way. Agitated he looks around, getting lost meant no forest and no hiding.

The side walks had begun to clear by the time Kimoyi found his way. The forest was far from where he currently stood and time had ran out because the sun was finally setting. He had to hide somewhere in the city or make a run for it, but his leg still hurt from the fall the previous night. His hand began to light up and so he too began to run.

His eyes glanced everywhere for a crack to hide in or an alley but everything was too organized, almost strategically set so nothing could hide in this city. Kimoyi pulled the hood of his jacket over his head to cover his now glistening hair.

Orange and red sunlight could be seen in the horizon and the lights around the city began to turn on. He was glad not many people were around anymore and the ones walking ignored him, for the most part.

"I could make it without anyone noticing" he told himself as the sun finally disappeared. He knew to keep his eyes low since they were obviously shinning too.

Suddenly his hood was removed from his head and his body was thrown to the ground. He groaned in pain at the forceful throw.

"I got one!" sang someone loudly
