Ms.Flair
Name: * Ethan Age: * 33 Race: * Werewolf/Lycan Occupation: > Business Man - Sales - Editing and Publishing books of all sorts Likes: + Books in general + Reading + BDSM +Baked Goods * Dislikes: - His ex - Deadlines not getting met - Lazy people - People who are weak and or let people walk over them Other: * Baked Goods is one of his secrets, that only few know. * He has a low tolerance, so he tends to only drink by himself or things may turn out..interesting x3 Big cities can bring many opportunities and it seemed like Ethan, was getting a lot of them in his own life time. He met someone serious, but that relationship turned sour though. They started to fight more then usual, and when they split they left on not the best of terms. That some time ago, and now Ethan was living differently. Ethan was one of head sales guy's at his company, but he was also a editor for the same company he worked in. People in his work place knew that he could be hard ass or someone who is always serious when it came to work. Few people knew that he was someone different when he wasn't at the office. A select few, that he has told that if they went and told anyone. They may come to work with some bruising on their face, the next time they come in. Ethan had a secret and it was for the BDSM World that he participated. He was always in control, but when he was in that different world. He would let others take control from him, and he liked it. Unfortunately, he wasn't always satisfied with these people. -- Today would be a different day, as Ethan was driving to a big park in the city. He was going to a meeting for the lycans in the big city. He just hoped that he wouldn't run into his ex flame, or something would have happened. They always got into fights and sometimes they were even separated from each other. When he parked his car, he ran his hand through his hair. "Let's just go," Ethan said to himself before he got out of his car to head into the festivities. Looking around, he was seeing if he found anyone there that he knew. Not finding anyone, he moved to go sit at one of the tables that were empty. Pulling out his phone, to see if he got any important work emails from anybody. He would look for other emails, like replies from that one BDSM site that he was a member on.

They'd given him a call about servicing some of the horses; two had exhibited signs of lameness, dragging swollen legs that could have sealed a death sentence for them. The concoction of drugs Please Register/ Sign In, in order to see the links. had needed to whip out after doing some prolonged studying was one thing. But having to examine all eight other horses for signs of infection, disease, combing through their feed, and doing tests? That was tiring. Christian had gotten to the place at five in the morning and was now only leaving to head to the park after eleven. Thankfully it wasn't the major metropolitan adjacent one, but a little outside of the city, with its glass and edges and angles. He got to their pack meeting early and parked outside to sleep for an hour. He woke up with a sheepish grin and stretched, looking at the time then out at the park. Huh, still oddly empty. Wait, shit. So the man had to tear ass back onto the main roads as he bemoaned his own sleep-addled brain. How could he have thought that the Pack-a-Picnic was this meeting? That was nowhere near this time of year. He had to drive to that godawful city. Not that he hated the city. It was just annoying. It held a lot of memories, the vacation he'd spent with his now former lover, ex-husband, extinguished flame. There was a time where even the glimmer of Ethan's name would get him riled up, but now he was just tired. But when he was tired, he did get grouchy… Hm. Christian pulled into the city's park when the final cars were just beginning to show up. Due to his occupation, a lot of scenting was involved- fine by him, he liked that the pack were attentive enough to his smell, and their noses often tickled his neck. He and a small group of other men walked into the park together, chatting amicably. It was good that he had the distraction. He could already smell it on the grass blades. That tell-tale scent. Glancing towards his ex-husband, Christian made a huffing sound then returned to his conversation. If Ethan wasn't going to be a bitch, then he wasn't going to be a bitch. He knew some of the members of the pack were uncomfortable with the tension around (others, meanwhile, placed bets each meeting since their messy divorce.) Besides. He was more of a grown man than Ethan liked to pretend he was, the snob.
Ms.Flair
Ethan was pretty into one of the emails he was reading, till that smell hit him. Slowly putting his phone down, as he looked around for that..familiar scent. His eyes narrowed, as Ethan saw Christian entering with other werewolves. Ethan rolled his eyes toward them, staying on the bench far from other. "He had to be here. He could have missed the meeting, but he did come," Ethan thought to himself as he stayed in his little spot. Going back to his phone, he saw nothing that interested in him while he moved to run his hand through hair. Someone had came over, as it was another lycan who wanted him to come join them all. At first Ethan refused, but he reluctantly came along when the person begged for him to join or to just leave. Ethan went along with them, as he moved to sit closer to the groups. On a table, there were some drinks and someone even some snacks too. What caught Ethan's eyes, was the baked goods he spotted there on the table. Ethan let out a whine, very quietly and only to himself, as he slowly moved to the table. Ethan quickly grabbed one of the cookies before he scarfed it down. Ethan grabbed another, before going back to his seat as he happily ate his second cookie. One of the people who had came in with Christian, nudged the guy when he saw Ethan. "Dude, your ex is so weird. He is so serious, but look at him. He looks like a child with those cookies" someone said. - In the meeting, the alphas and higher ups in the packs discussed any topics that were needed to be talked about. Ethan spoke up on a few issues, trying to be open and talkative about the matters. There were some announcements, like the discussion of new mates. When that topic was brought up, Ethan's attitude started to sour a little. That topic was still tough for him, while he stayed quiet. That wouldn't last long, as something came straight from his mouth without being able to stop himself. "I better be careful. Just don't marry them or you may just regret it later on. Regret it like drinking too much in one night," Ethan said. For the moment, Ethan didn't care that comment was toward Christian, his ex husband and ex mate. There was talk around, he got some glares but he just crossed his arms. "It's true though.." Ethan added, with shrug of his shoulder before he crossed his arms. brinary
"Hey, look at him." Christian glared at one of his friends and fellow wolves before side-eyeing where Ethan was at the bench. Fucking typical. He couldn't be bothered to be a part of group activities, Ethan, he always had to isolate himself so someone could come to him. He knew his ex secretly liked the attention-- even if the other man was unaware of his own subconscious behavior. Sometimes it was a curse, knowing someone so well. "Let him be," the man murmured and continued onto another vein of conversation. Briefly he left to get a lunch box out of his car and was teased for the juvenile nature, but snickered along with them. He couldn't resist a Black Canary lunchbox. It was so cool. Even if it was from the children's section of his local supermarket. He mostly ate from there, dipping carrots and stalks of celery into hummus. When one of the men directed his attention to Ethan again, his chest squeezed uncomfortably. Memories came to him again. Not entirely bad ones. "... Yeah," he murmured, belated, then shook his head and hit the guy's arm. "Let him alone, you're just mad you went on that cookie-strike. All going to your gut." Christian was glad for the hoots and hollers and chuckles, as they began to rib and tease one another before the meetings began. He actually really enjoyed the talks. Topics of future events, what's on the agenda, and other matters always kept a vein in his mind of the future of the pack. Before he'd moved to this location at all, he and his family had been raised elsewhere, in a fractured pack with tensions and community-laxness all around. It was so different to have an actually organised and pretty much bonded bunch of men and women that liked to make the experiences of the members good ones. It was good, to have these talks. He smiled and ate quietly and mostly minded to himself. Until someone opened their mouth. He swallowed hard on a suddenly dry-tasting cookie that bittered as it traveled down his throat, face screwing up. So that's what it'll be, huh? Ethan being a bitch? Alright, he could make himself as lowly as Ethan and be just as bitter. "Yeah, that's great advice. Especially the drinking too much in one night part-- must have some really intensive experiences with that one, don'tcha?" Someone told him to relax but he smiled and continued to eat his carrots. "Why don't you write a nice little how-to for the education of others, give a nice guide of what's the wrong way to be a decent mate." "Christian oh my god shut the fuck up," one woman hissed, already prickling from the tension, and she could see his own gut twisting and sweat forming on his neck from lodging insults back. But he wasn't going to let Ethan walk all over him anymore. He wasn't going to stand here and continue to be made to look like the village idiot. Ms.Flair
Ethan growled out, as Ethan crossed his arms when he heard that first insult. Ethan remembered those nights and Ethan was pretty bad with alcohol. Ethan was a light weight, and even he drank too much he wasn't the great person to be around at all. Ethan growled again, rather more loudly when he heard the next threat. Ethan was trying to stay quiet, but it was getting harder and harder for the older male to do that though. Ethan stood up finally, as he spoke up more. "Yeah Christian. If you shut up for once, maybe you can let someone talk for a change. You never let me," Ethan said before he got a look of disappointment. That look came from a alpha, as Ethan looked away with a huff like a child getting scolded. "Ethan, Christian. I suggest you both shut up or you will be banned from the next meeting. I rather not have to do that," the alpha said. Ethan was still standing, as he shoved his hands into his pocket. "Why don't I just make it easier and leave right now. I had my fill of the talk, and I am sorry for my behavior," Ethan said with a groan. "We all know how good Christian is at that," Ethan said, putting in one last one before he started to walk away from the group. As he walked away, Ethan was still fuming from the insults getting thrown back at each with bitterness filled with each one. Someone came over to him, it was a female as she grabbed at Ethan's arm. "Ethan! You have to apologize now," the lady said, trying to stop him from moving anymore. Ethan was ready to retort back, but noticed it was the alpha's mate and that would have ended badly if he caused any harm toward her. "Please come back, and apologize. You can leave after," she said next before Ethan started to walk back over to them. She pushed him some, as Ethan stumbled forward so he was even closer to Christian. Ethan shrugged his shoulders, while not looking at Christian really. Ethan got a look, before he looked at Christian now. Ethan was quiet for a moment, before he finally started to talk. "Christian..I am sorry about those. I shouldn't insult you, even if we had issues before," Ethan said, apologizing for what he had said. Now it was Christian turn, since Ethan did his part of apologizing. - "After this spat, we are gonna stop our little meeting here and go our separate ways now," the alpha announced. brinary
The insult made him huff once through his nose, bothered but not about to vocalize it. He had a little more control than to audibly growl than some of the others here-- it came from walking on eggshells around such a splintered pack at home. Skills like that were handy in everyday life. Getting through the divorce through a quiet, reasonable air had done him well. Boxing classes also were pretty good for keeping him in control. People weren't punching bags. At the alpha's words, Christian acquiesced further with his shoulders bowing in submission as he gingerly said sorry. It was quiet, soon overpowered by Ethan's declaration that he was up and going anyways. Which kind of just seemed like a slap in the face to the entire pack, and blowing things way out of their proportion. Which, hah, again[/b}, Ethan would know a lot about. The vet almost wanted to roll his eyes at the display as he nibbled more at his celery. At the last insult, Christian bit down with a little more force than necessary, teeth clacking together as he closed his eyes and reeled himself in. His ex always wanted to get the last fucking word in. And per usual-- someone chases after him. Watching with distaste, he looks over at one of his friends who is giving him a sour expression. "what," he snapped and the other just shook his head and raised his hands, motioning to Ethan's obviously annoyed but apologetic countenance some distance away with a member from the pack. Christian just rolled his eyes in response and reached for his phone after three single buzzes. He'd have to pop by the zoo sooner than expected. "Hey, I think I'm gonna--" a hard hand on his shoulder stopped him, one of the alphas looking at him through the corner of her eye. "Don't even think about it." Christian stared back, eyes narrowing, before he scrunched up his face and blew out hard, shrugging the hand off. "Fine. Fine. Alright." He stood there and watched Ethan get pushed forward. It was like middle school all over again. A reluctant, perpetually liked bully being let off with a slap on the wrist and some light scolding before everyone went their ways to gossip about this later. He wasn't bleeding this time, and he wasn't as small as he'd been before, but he still felt the urge to cry and acquiesce and duck his head and run away hit him in waves. 'I fucking love you. I loved you.' The bitterness was washing over him again, exhausting his energy. Ethan's smell was too close to him. All he wanted to do was leave. Pageant-rehearsed, he nodded his head. "I understand and also apologise for the remarks I said. Water off a duck's back." He was already detaching himself for this moment. He needed to get out of there. Offering Ethan a smile, he skirted around him and offered a wave, hand clutching his phone. "The animals are calling everyone, I'll be seeing you all another time!" Not everyone was pleased at the departure but honestly, they could eat it. The apologies were said and done, time wasted just for pleasantries, what-ever. Climbing back into his car, the man tossed his phone into the passenger's seat and released the sunglasses cubby near the roof. Reaching inside he took out three twizzlers with every intention of digging into them as he began to pull out of the grassy fields and get the hell outta dodge. This entire thing had exhausted him. Ms.Flair
Ethan now stood there, being completely silent while he waited for Christian to apologize to him. To him, it wasn't a real apologize to him since they were getting forced to do it. His heart was beating rather loudly in his ears while Christian's scent was hitting him hard which made his knees a little weak. He had to keep his wits and keep on focusing on the task that was before him. Did he still have feelings? He may have some, that were very hidden though to even to his own conscious mind at at the moment. Hearing the apology, he let out a sigh while he looked away for a moment. It was nice that Christian did that, but he had a guess that he may have not meant. Who cared, they were both apologizing out of force not wanting to do it. Ethan was surprised by that smile, as his face actually turned red. Ethan let out a sigh, as he went to go for his vehicle. Ethan did stop by the snack table, as he had grabbed a treat for himself before he left for his car. Getting into his car, he leaned back for a moment as he groaned. What was he doing right now? Ethan checked his phone, before he started to drive back to his house. On his way home, he thought back about his old home that he used to share. He use to share the home, but when the divorce happened he decided to sell the home. After it was sold, the proceeds from the sale were split between two of them. Some tears fell down his face, he tried to stop himself from crying anymore. "Damnit. Why did I have to go there..why did he have to be there," Ethan said to him, rather out loud. When he pulled in his apartment complex, he hurried into his room and went straight for his computer. Typing up his ad that usually placed in BDSM community forums, as he finally posted it. He needed release, especially after what happened back at that meeting. Truth be told, he hadn't been getting it right recently but maybe the next person who replied to his message may just be the right person.
