GodofMischief
Name: Tobias Age: 24 Gender: Male Sexual Orientation: Gay Position: Seme or Seke Rank: Chieftain, first born son of former Rulers. Ideal Partner: Seke, Seme.......possibly, maybe Power bottom. Personality: Tobias is by far the most serious of the brothers. He isn't stern or cold tempered...he's simply rather stoic and a tad monotonic. However, just as he is stone faced, Tobias is also calm tempered, strong and kind. He rules with a patient mindset and a soul longing for justice. He is not cruel nor is he vindictive. He has a good head on his shoulders and weighs every decision before he decides to make his move. Wise beyond his years, Tobias is a role model for the younger generation in his clan and he is a beloved leader to his people. Bio: Tobias was born as the first Prince of his people. He was the pride and joy of his parents and their pride in him only grew further as he aged and demonstrated an intelligence beyond someone of his young age. Tobias proved to be a sharp, curious young boy with a natural craving to learn all he could from everyone and everything around him. He was a jewel of a child, loved by all who set eyes on him. When his younger brothers came into the picture, each a few years after him, Tobias embraced them with the love only a proud older brother could have. He bore no jealousy towards them, instead he swore to keep them safe from anything that sought to do them wrong. When signs began to appear that Tobias might very well be the first Dragonborn child in centuries, his parents were beside themselves with both pride and disbelief. Even more so when the little boy of 12 showed up one morning with a dragon that would soon become his best friend and ever vigilant guardian. As he aged, Tobias and Fenrir, grew in bond and love. There was never a day the boy was seen without his faithful dragon by his side. And when both his brothers began to show signs that they too shared the traits of those extremely rare Dragonborn children, their people and their parents thought that the Gods and Goddesses had smiled upon them and provided them with a protection that would be nearly impenetrable. Little did they know it wasn't as it seemed. At the dawn of his 16th birthday, when Tobias had been eager for yet another year of learning to become the perfect Chieftain and Arwen was in the midst of his 6th year, a terrible attack fell upon their people. One no one had seen coming. An attack that left their clan without their leaders and Tobias horribly injured in an effort to protect his younger brothers. Many feared that the Crown Prince would not survive and the clan grieved not only for the death of the boys parents, but also for the life trickling out of the next in line to lead them. However, Tobias was not to be given up on so easily. No one knows for sure how it happened, but the young man recovered and survived his horrific injuries. Many whispered it was through the will of Fenrir himself to save his human, while others murmured the Gods had pardoned the young Prince's life. However, that didn't matter. What mattered was that the clan had a new Chieftain and that not all was lost. Over the next years, Tobias grew into the man his parents had always wanted. In fact, some would say that he grew to be a better Chieftain that even his father. With the help of his parents advisors at hand, Tobias rebuilt his clan with his brothers, their dragons, and Fenrir at his side. Under his hand, the clan grew in strength and thrived for the years to come. Their love for the young Chieftain grew with every passing season. And even though Tobias bore the heavy weight of his people and their future on his shoulders, he never faltered in his loyalty and dedication to them. Extra: Before the accident that nearly took his life, Tobias shared the same dark hair as his siblings. After he awoke from his coma, Tobias' hair changed from dark brown to pale as snow, as did his eyes. Many in the village speculated that it was because of Fenrir's will and intensity to bring his human back from the brink of death, that the dragon had given him a hint of the very essence that made Fenrir who he was. Name: Fenrir Type of Dragon: Ice/Storm Dragon Body type: Serpentine Age: 6000 Gender: Male Personality: Fenrir is a stern, no nonsense dragon. He's is fiercely protective and loyal to a fault. He aggressively guards Tobias both in and out of battle, rarely allowing unknown people or dragons near him. Being as he is a dragon of Ice and Storms, Fenrir has a rather cold disposition to him and has no quarrels in putting anyone who opposes his Bonded Human or himself, in their place. He does not trust easily and anyone he thinks is a threat to Tobias, he makes sure to make his feelings clear too. This serpentine dragon listens to no one but Tobias himself and the other young Princes and their dragons, of which he is equally protective of. Powers: Fenrir controls Ice and Snow for the most part. However, when truly angered, he can create horrible storms that can threaten to whip out entire villages if that is his desire. It had started off as a quiet peaceful day. While birds same their songs up above and little critters scurried through the underbrush in an effort to avoid being seen, the forest had been relatively tranquil. There was no sense of alarm to be felt and the sounds of laughter coming from the village could just been heard being carried by the light summer breeze. Tobias loved days like these. Where he could spare a few hours to run a patrol with just Fenrir and avoid the watchful eyes of his younger brothers. While he loved his brothers, they had a tendency to become smothering if he didn't curve their fussing over him every now and again. A habit they had developed years ago and was remarkably still present now. So while he appreciated their obvious love for him, the young Chieftain enjoyed days where he could wonder around with just his dragon. It had been so long since their last escapade from the village and Tobias could sense that Fenrir had been growing a tad bit restless. The life as the leaders of their beloved village was one they had grown accustomed to through the years, however, that did not mean they didn't need to take a few breaks every now and again. Glancing over his shoulder at the majestic, beautiful white furred and blue scaled serpentine dragon that walked just a pace behind him, pale green eyes constantly vigilant of their surroundings, Tobias could help but release a soft chuckle. If there was anyone worse at fussing over him than his siblings, Fenrir would be that creature. His best friend took overprotective to a whole new level and the dragon had no shame in admitting that. Ever since they had met so many years ago, Fenrir had constantly guarded his human zealously, never letting him out of his sight for too long a time period....Especially since that day when they had lost so much and could have lost so much more. Fenrir was Tobias' shadow, his partner and his main source of support when leading the village grew particularly heavy. The pair made quite a sight both in and out of the village. It was little wonder why visitors tended to walk on eggshells around Tobias when they were leveled with one of Fenrir's vicious glares. The thought itself had another soft chuckle slipping out of the young man's mouth. "What do you think, Fenrir? Does our land seem adequately safe today?" Tobias asked, voice deceptively soft toned if not touched by an almost monotonic tone. Pale gray eyes with traces of icy blue color circling the iris looked around for the hundredth time this morning. Nothing seemed to be out of place, they had circled the island twice already, both by air and by foot. Things seemed to be as in place as they had been yesterday if the reports were anything to go by. Their home was as secure as it always had been since Tobias took the mantle of Chieftain. Nevertheless, the young man couldn't shake the soft nibbling sensation in the back of his mind that something was off. As if they were waiting for something to happen. What that something must have been, Tobias had no idea, but it seemed that he wasn't the only one slightly uneasy. "The winds are different today, Tobias.....I sense another dragon approaching our land and she is not far...By the scent of it, he is not alone" Fenrir's low, deep rumbling voice filled the white haired male's head as his dragon dipped his head to gently nuzzle his long muzzle against the side of Tobias' body. An affectionate gesture, one strictly reserved for those who the dragon considered family and no one else. Green eyes were locked onto the horizon in full view for them from the sandy cliff they stood upon overlooking the vast ocean surrounding their home. Had it not been for the subtle way Fenrir dragged his long tail up to wrap around the area surrounding Tobias' feet in a distinctively protective gesture, the young Chieftain might have thought nothing of it. As it was, he was both curious and suspicious. "Well then, we might as well give them a polite welcome, before they stumble upon our village. If they due indeed decide to land on our lands, I'd rather know what they want before they endanger our loved ones" Tobias murmured thoughtfully, reaching up a hand to gently run his fingers through the soft fur under Fenrir's jaw. Hearing a pleased rumble escape from deep within his dragon's chest, Tobias smiled quietly but did not move from his post. They had an excellent view of whoever would be approaching from here and if push came to shove, he'd be able to react much quicker than if he had been deep within the forest of their island. For now though, he was merely curious on who exactly was approaching and the best way to find that out, was simply to wait and see.
Z3N
Name: Valentyne. Age: 27. Gender: Male. Sexual Orientation: Bisexual. Position: Seke. Rank: Commoner. Ideal Partner: Seke. Personality: Being energetic from the day he was born, he stayed like that despite the hardships he had been through. He’s hot-headed and always wants to do something in order to help people. However he knows when he can’t do anything by intuition and by experience. He’s guided by his emotions instead of his brain which can get him into trouble a lot. Head-strong and passionate for the causes that he thinks are right. He won’t get out of the way from a fight if it’s in order to protect those he likes or his freedom. Bio: Having been taken into a commoner family wasn’t something unusual but the warmth that embraced him every single minute of the day when he was around them was more than he could ask for. Unlike his other family who abandoned him on their doorstep, he found what he wanted with them. He didn’t ask for the others nor did he show any interest in them for a long period of time. However his calm life wasn’t supposed to stay like that as his town got destroyed within a blink of an eye. Not being able to do anything about it, nor was he strong enough to face an army with the latest armour hanging on their limbs. Everything went up in flames and there was no stopping about it. Being taken in by the enemy, he slowly lost his will to live after several beatings, torture, embarrassment, etc. He didn’t see a way out anymore but just then as he was about to finally give up, a dragon charged into the domain. A dragon whose voice could be heard clearly. His body moved for him towards the creatures, climbing onto its back while struggling. It was a wonder that he could still move with the injuries he had from the recent punishment he received from those guards. It was like his instinct took over and he was just absentmindedly following it without questioning. During the days the two flew over several countries and seas, Valentyne’s wounds started to heal up, leaving several scars on his limbs as a reminder of his days in captivity. Seeing them as war wounds and survival as he was no longer between four walls but redeemed his freedom by the help of this dragon which he later on called Nalug. They felt each other’s emotions and understood as if they had been together for a longer period of time. Like getting back to an old friend, a feeling of nostalgia. However they had to land soon enough on an island surrounded by water. Only to be reached by boat or by flying on a dragon. He hadn’t heard of this island before but he had a good feeling about this. Name: Nalug. Type of Dragon: Fire dragon. Body Type: Snake form with dragon features and head, two strong arms with sharp claws to grab or tear an enemy apart. Age: 3500. Gender: Male. Personality: He’s the reasoning within Valentyne, trying to keep his partner calm despite the alarming situations they might encounter. He’s protective and has a sense of leadership which makes him a dependable dragon. He’s loyal and won’t waver to make the right decision for him and Valentyne even if it means abandoning someone when it doesn’t look too good. He’s independent and takes care of himself very well. He doesn’t like to be trapped between four walls, preferring the skies where he could roam freely. Powers: Nalug controls fire. A destructive power but also a protective one depending on how he uses it. Using his warmth to keep people warm during cold days or burning towns to the ground when greatly angered. The wounds across his body slowly started to heal up, mainly thanks to the knowledge of his dragon who had been around humans for a bit of time. Only needing the basic stuff that he could find in forests or buy for a cheap price in small towns, he easily patched himself up with the instructions he received from Nalug. At first though he was sceptic as he didn’t even know who this dragon was until everything was explained to him so he could understand. It was a rare phenomenon but that only made their bond even more important than he thought it was. He felt weirdly comfortable around this creature and let his guard down as time went by and didn’t feel any bad intentions from the dragon. Nor did he mean to do any harm to the creature either as it saved his life back when he was in serious trouble. He received freedom which couldn’t be bought with money. Instead of staying at one of the small towns, the two decided that it would be better to go further away so they wouldn’t be caught once more. Absolutely detesting the thought of being in chains again, they took off without losing too much time, only bringing the necessary with them as they’d be up in the air for a while as they didn’t have an exact destination. The only thing they knew was that it was best to just follow their instinct and let the wind carry them throughout the kingdom and beyond. The wind in Valentyne’s hair made him feel good, laying down on his dragon as he absent-mindedly stared to what was beneath them. At first it was land, passing by small farms the further they got to the edge until it changed into water. This meant they had to fly until they reached land again and none of the two knew when that would be which was kind of dangerous. Yet their guts were telling them that they’d be alright. The sun went up, greeting the two with their brilliance. It was a truly beautiful sight, they both got mesmerized at the same time due to the colours that appeared in the skies. It was far prettier than inside the walls of a castle or prison. Only those that were truly free could be taken away like this, see the things that others couldn’t. However due to a bad movement that Valentyne made on Nalug, he felt a sharp pain in his side. The largest wound which still had a way to close up, re-opened, making him whimper in pain which made the dragon a little nervous. Calming it down as he didn’t think it was a big deal but the blood that got through the bandage told otherwise. He didn’t have a spare one so they had to wait for a little longer where he could get another one. Pushing his hand against it for the time being so he wouldn’t lose too much blood at once. Nalug started to make haste as he didn’t want for his new partner to faint in the middle of nowhere. Just as he was about to panic, he saw land in the distance. Making a straight beeline towards it without taking in account the possible threats that could be lurking around. Landing carefully so Valentyne wouldn’t drop to the ground. Even helping him slide down carefully so the wound wouldn’t get worse. And there in front of them a man with another dragon was standing. Valentyne and Nalug were a bit on edge but they knew they needed some help first with his wound. The worst case would be them getting into a fight which would result in them fleeing away in search for another place to drop by. “Be careful.” Nalug whispered to Valentyne, who nodded lightly in return. Stepping one foot forward before bowing lightly towards the male with long blonde hair, it hurt to move that way but it was better to endure that than another stab in his body. “I’m Valentyne. I’m an adventurer and happened to come across this land during my flight. Would you mind telling me where I am?” He asked the male, hoping that the other was friendly to the bottom of his heart and not an enemy.
GodofMischief
Watching the figure of a dragon approach until it had successfully landed just a few feet away from them, Tobias felt Fenrir stiffen beside him but he made no move to seem openly hostile. At most, his dragon must have been glaring at the strangers but he didn’t move from Tobias side. Something the young Chieftain was grateful for, he did not want to cause unnecessary fighting if it could be avoided. Nevertheless, he could feel Fenrir’s unease by the appearance of strangers on their lands and Tobias couldn’t help but understand what his dragon’s weariness was for. They did not get many uninvited guests to their land, it was unheard of for the most part. Isle of the Sky was a vast, distant island cast in myths and legends. Not many were brave enough to come here, especially if not asked to come by its inhabitants. That was how it had been for many years, only having been changed that night of the massacre....however, Tobias didn’t think this male thought to bring with him destruction to this land. There was something about him that did not seem malicious at all. Nevertheless, that didn’t mean Tobias’ first impression couldn’t be wrong....as it was, it as best proceed with caution. Inclining his head somewhat at the man’s greeting, Tobias flickered a glance at the dragon that had brought the man here before turning his attention back on this stranger. This Valentyne. “This island is known by the name Isle of the Sky, home to the People of the Sky....a village nestled deep within this land’s hold” Tobias granted the man’s request by answering the question the other had asked. Pale eyes quietly looked the man over for another heartbeat before he parted his lips to speak once more “My name is Tobias, Chieftain of these lands, and this is Fenrir, my partner”. Lifting a hand to gently place it upon Fenrir’s flank as he introduced them, Tobias cast his best friend an exasperated glance when the dragon released a low growl towards their guests. His earlier guess had been right, Fenrir was very much glaring at the newcomers and he seemed far less cordial than Tobias. “Forgive him, we do no receive much uninvited company. Our land is well out of reach from the usual travelers, so it is surprising to see one such as yourself land upon our shores, especially with a dragon....Is there anything you required from this island?” Tobias asked, tone polite and welcoming but holding a note of caution in it that was hard to ignore. He wasn’t about to chase these newcomers off his lands just because they had landed here without being previously acknowledged to do so. He was not that kind of person. While he was weary of letting outsiders into his village after the hell they had had to endure last time the outside world had found their home, Tobias would not turn his back to anyone who was in need. Valentyne said he was a traveler, but perhaps his purpose for coming here was more than just to explore this island. His dragon seemed rather on edge, something about its behavior seemed to lean towards the fact that there might be something else going on just below the surface of what he could see. “There is blood in the air” Fenrir’s deep voice once more came forth as the white dragon calmly inhaled a deep breath of the gentle breeze swirling around them. His pale green eyes narrowed in mild concern when he turned them to land upon the human just a few feet away from them. “You’re hurt?” Tobias spoke and though it was meant to come out as a question, it sounded more like a statement than anything else. Lowering his hand to reach into one of the many pockets of his trousers, the young Chieftain produced a roll of fresh bandages he usually kept with him. Something he was infinitely thankful for now. While he wasn’t often the one who needed tending too in regards to mild wounds or bleeding cuts, his younger brothers tended to be a lot more careless in their sparing and other activities. Most times than not, Tobias was seen tending to their wounds and assuring himself that they would be fine. As such, being as he had no idea when it would be the next time that his siblings needed their wounds tended to, Tobias had taken to always carrying wound supplies with him. Fenrir often teased him about it. It his dragon understood the reason behind his need to carry such things around but he couldn’t help but tease the male of his overprotective nature time and time again when they were alone. “If you will, before the bleeding gets worse and the situation escalates....I can tend to your wound while we are here if you’ll allow it” Tobias offered calmly, not making a move towards Valentyne just yet. The man was still a relative unknown and while Tobias was willing to help him, he wasn’t going to charge head first into the situation foolishly. He had no idea how the man’s dragon would react and he would rather not have Fenrir come to odds with the other creature of it could be avoided. Tobias knew how protective dragon’s could be, he’d rather have the man give his consent before he moved towards him. That being said, if the man insisted on continuing to bleed from wherever the blood was coming from, Tobias would have no problem forcing his compliance. He would not have someone die on his island because the individual’s stubbornness refused to allow him to accept help.
Z3N
As the man told that they were on the Isle of the Sky, he didn’t recognize the name in the slightest. Perhaps he came across the name before but didn’t pay any attention to it. He didn’t remember as that wasn’t his goal at the time, nor was it now. He just needed some help with his wound which wasn’t getting any better. As the man introduced himself and his dragon he nodded lightly as he knew the male had some kind of special air around him and now he knew what it exactly was. Chieftain. He wouldn’t be able to have that status himself as he was too reckless for his own good which could get the people into trouble. He wanted to avoid that at all cost. Nalug nudged Valentyne, asking him to be introduced which made Valentyne roll his eyes in return towards the dragon which was meant as a joke between the two of them. “This pup here is Nalug, my companion in travelling.” He said as he patted the dragon’s head gently. The tail already wrapped around his legs as the dragon wasn’t too trusty towards these two as he didn’t know them. Valentyne merely reassured that it was fine by the gestured he made. Before he could ask for some bandages the man called Fenrir was already aware of the situation. Perhaps because the blood could be smelled in the air which dragons seemed to be sensitive to. He didn’t know the exact reason why but he guessed it was just a thing of theirs. Especially Nalug was sensitive to it as if it was a trigger to his instincts, making him more protective than usual unless if the dragon knew where it came from such as the animals they were hunting on or the blood of Valentyne or himself. It was easier to know the source than to make rough guesses that they couldn’t be too sure about. As Fenrir offered his help, he looked towards his dragon before letting the man do his thing. Shuffling forward so he wouldn’t step on Nalug’s tail in the process. Removing his hand from his side where blood came dripping out now. “It’s pretty bad so I don’t know if bandages alone will be enough… If only I didn’t turn that oddly when flying, it wouldn’t have opened up like this.” He muttered as it was his own fault that he got hurt like this again. Nalug huffed deeply as he was partially glad that there was someone else on this island who could help them out as he himself wasn’t going to be of much use as his claws were too big for such a work. As he removed the bandage himself, he hissed at the stinging pain as some of the bandage was stuck into the wound. Slowly pulling it loose which hurt like hell. Showing it to Fenrir as the blood was now running down freely without any movement of stopping anytime soon. “Do you think you can stop the bleeding?” He asked, slightly more worried as it wasn’t a good sight. A deep cut that hadn’t been healed correctly due to him moving around too much and doing unnecessary things when he was out hunting on small animals. Feeling a little dizzy so he had to hold onto his dragon in order to not fall over at once. Nalug looked pleadingly at Fenrir as he couldn’t do anything to help his partner out at that very moment. GodofMischief
Looking at the extent of the wound with a small frown marring his usually stoic features, Tobias exchanged a small glance with Fenrir. The wound was far more extensive than he had previously thought and while he could tend to it momentarily here, he’d much rather have it properly closed. The problem was, he didn’t have the materials he needed with him at the moment. The needle and string that he’d possibly need to see the gash closed properly were in the village, as per usual. While Tobias carried bandages with him, he rarely needed anything else to tend to the nicks and bruises his siblings might gather. That being said, Tobias knew that the only solution to assuring themselves that the man wouldn’t bleed to dangerous levels would be bringing him back with them. It was a daunting thought, something he wouldn’t ever consider if he had another option at hand. Nevertheless, to help Valentyne as best he could, that was the only choice he had. “I will be able to bandage the wound as best I can while we are here and slow the bleeding. However, in order to close it properly, I need tools that I have left in my village. I will need you to follow us there, lest you want to wait for our return here” Tobias responded with a soft sigh. By the weakness he could see in the other man, Tobias didn’t really think having Valentyne wait here was a good option. Regardless, he wouldn’t force the man to come with them if he didn’t want to. “Tobias....it is not safe to have them come to our village. We know nothing of them and they might pose a threat to our people” Fenrir protested quietly, gaze trained on both Valentyne and his dragon. While he could understand the pleas in Nalug’s eyes, they had to be practical and think of what they were endangering if they brought strangers to their home. Last time outsiders had arrived in their village, chaos and bloodshed had ensured and it wasn’t something Fenrir wanted to see happen again. A thought he shared with Tobias....even if his human was not swayed from wanting to assist the other male. “Safe or not, old friend, he is injured and I will not have the man dying on my island when we could have provided help. He does not look like he’s in any position to awaken trouble on our land nor does he appear strong enough to remain standing for much longer. It is best to have him return with us and handle whatever might happen afterwards in due time” Tobias exhaled softly, affectionately patting his partner on his long neck even as he walked forward towards the newcomer. Keeping his stance as unthreatening as he could, Tobias unwound the the roll of bandages in his hand. Stopping just a pace or so from Valentyne, he bent down a bit to be able to look at the grotesque wound a bit closer, frown tugging in his lips more profoundly. “This might hurt, nevertheless, it is necessary to stop the bleeding for the moment” he murmured softly, flickering a glance at Nalug even as he reached out with his hands and gently began to wrap the fresh bandages around Valentyne’s wound. Stranger or not, Tobias made sure to keep his movements visible at all times for the man’s dragon to be able to watch and kept his touches as gentle as he could. The wound looked like it was hurting quite a bit and Tobias didn’t want to cause more pain to Valentyne. “Do you think you can fly for a bit longer? We’ll do able to arrive at my village easier and faster by air instead of if we were to travel by land” He asked after a moment, raising pale eyes up at Valentyne momentarily before lowering them to his task once more. He could feel Fenrir tense and weary through their Bond, wanting to yank his Human back to his side and away from the two strangers. Nevertheless, his dragon remained still where Tobias had left him, eyes locked on the two strangers for any signs of dangerous intent but otherwise the snow furred creature remained unmoving. Z3N
Valentyne listened to what the male called Tobias had to say about his wound. Making him realize that it was worse than he had thought. Looking towards Nalug who hesitantly agreed with the other male as they didn’t have another choice. If the wound was kept untended he would bleed to death and the dragon would be alone again. It was not that they were afraid of death, just the consequences that it would bring to their loved ones. He laid his head against that of his dragon as he let Tobias tend to his wound for the best he could. At the warning of it possibly hurting, Valentyne held on tight to his dragon, his grip tightening once he felt the cloth pressing against his wound. Feeling as if he was being ripped open. Holding his breath unconsciously as if to surpass the pain that he was feeling. Breathing out as he started to feel dizzy in his head before trying to breathe regularly so it wouldn’t hurt too much. Not moving his body too much while Tobias was wrapping the bandage around him. Sweat dripping from his neck once they were done for now. Honestly, if he just didn’t make a sudden movement like he did in the air, he wouldn’t be in this situation. Blaming himself for injuring himself more than what was necessary. It wasn’t like he had to prove anything either. “It might be better if we fly then.” He responded to Tobias, his raw voice resounding. Strong and impactful despite the injury he received and the sudden situation he was residing in. His dragon lifted him up so he could get on easier. Holding onto Nalug with somewhat of a good grip so he wouldn’t fall of his partner. That’d be even worse as he didn’t know if he could survive that fall. But despite that fear, he knew for sure that they would reach the village without too much trouble. Call it his gut feeling or anything else. He glanced over towards the chief and nodded as he was ready to take off into the air. Nalug started to lift off into the air as gentle as he could, making sure he wouldn’t hurt his human in the process. Valentyne merely chuckled at the cautiousness of his dragon as he wasn’t used to his behaviour, not to this extent. Well, they hadn’t known each other for such a long time so even now he was still learning about all of this. It was a new world opening up to him which meant freedom but also more danger as there were bound to be those who hunted on dragons. Be it for their scales or for some weird pet fandom they had in mind, they were there. More than he thought there would be as dragons were considered to be powerful creatures. The mere thought was frightening to the point of wanting to protect Nalug even more for upcoming evil.
GodofMischief
Keeping his movements as gentle as he possibly could, Tobias was not blind at the pain that radiated off the other man as he had bandaged his wounds. It wasn’t pretty and blood made it’s way onto his hands but the young Chieftain didn’t care about that in the least, right now he was more concerned about getting this man the proper attention he needed. So as he tied the bandages off in a way that was tight enough to make sure they stayed put but loose enough not to cause anymore unnecessary pain, Tobias rose to his feet once more to regard the male for a moment. He could see the sweat on the other male’s neck and he could easily see just how drained the wound had the other male feeling, which further cemented his need to have Valentyne be brought to their village. It might not be ideal but it was the only chance the other man of surviving. Nodding when Valentyne spoke, Tobias turned and headed back to Fenrir. In a swift, grace filled move developed from years of being together, the young Chieftain easily climbed onto his dragon’s back. “As you wish, just try you’re best to stay close. My village is protected by heavy clouds and thick fog, it would not be ideal if you lost your way in it. Keep Fenrir and I in your sights and we’ll be able to lead you through it safely” he called over to him as he patted Fenrir gently on the neck. Lifting easily into the sky, Fenrir kept his movements slow and steady, a vast difference from how fast and deadly the dragon could be if he had wanted to be. While he wasn’t completely trusting of the pair, he knew Tobias was right when he said that the human needed the proper medical attention. Nevertheless, he’d be sure to keep an eye on the pair while they were in their village. Riding the winds high into the sky, Fenrir didn’t hesitate to head towards the largest mountain on the island, one whose peak was hidden in a dense shrouding of what appeared to be impossibly thick storm clouds. Making sure he kept at least part of his body in view for the strangers, Fenrir calmly slide his way through the clouds, never once faltering even as his long tail swayed calmly in front of Nalug. It took them several long moments of weaving this way and that through the clouds before an opening in the darkness appeared and within it, a beautiful village came into view. Streets lit with torches and beautiful structured homes graced the village below. At the far left of it, a vast gorgeous lake claimed its place and to the far right a house structure, larger than those around it, made its presence known. As they drew closer, the shapes of people gathering around the village with eyes pointed up at them, were clear to see. And their calls were easily heard as Fenrir brought them lower to the ground. “Tobias and Fenrir are back!” “Who did they bring with them?” “Who are those two behind them?” Instead of landing at the entrance as they would have usually done, Tobias had Fenrir lead them to the large house they had seen from above. Their home...the house their family had lived in for years and now a place they shared with their brothers. Said brothers who stood at the steps of the house with both their dragons, confusion written clearly on all their faces. Landing calmly a few feet from their siblings, Tobias slid calmly off Fenrir’s back and turned to look back towards Nalug. “Brother, who is that?” Zayne’s confused voice soon filled his ears as his brother walked towards him, hand on his sword and weary frown touching his usually cheerful expression. Volos shadowed his human, pale green eyes as cautious as Zayne’s. “Why has an outsider followed you here, brother?” Arwen’s far from pleased young voice joined in a second later, hot glare focused on Nalug and Valentyne. Tanit, for his part, blinked those glowing golden eyes and though he didn’t show open signs of aggression, the young dragon seemed more than just a bit tense. “I’ll explain who he is and what he is doing here later. For the moment, he needs help. Zayne, I need you to bring our medical supplies to the guest chambers of the left wing. Arwen, go retrieve Mara for me. I might need her to mix some pain reducing tea for our guest” Tobias spoke in smooth, no nonsense tones. While his eyes were soft and loving as they gazed at his siblings and their dragons, it was clear that he needed them to follow his orders. Something they did with a hint of reluctance and silent warning filled looks towards they two strangers in their midst. Turning his attention back on Valentyne and Nalug, Tobias frowned as he asked “Do you need assistance to safely make it into the house?”. He didn’t know how tired the ride here had left the other male and he’d much rather him not collapsing before they made it all the way inside. Z3N
Valentyne felt better when he was up in the air, the wind gently caressing his cheeks as if being embraced by something invisible. He wasn’t one to believe in the fairy tales of gods who controlled some parts of the world, only coming in between when necessary. And out of them, there was a possibility of demi-gods coming to existence. He had heard about these stories from the other prisoners, wanting to have something to believe in. They were fake rays of hope as he had never seen any of them before in the flesh so it couldn’t possibly be true. The same went for this so-called God people talked about, the ruler of the universe. Nalug had heard about these stories as well and had the same opinion as the human. Lies people spread in order to survive for a longer period of time without getting into a dark place in their mind. The way Nalug flew through the winds while trying his best to follow the other dragon, Valentyne felt really grateful. Being reassured that his dragon really wanted the best for both of them so they wouldn’t lose anyone precious ever again. It also carried more dangers with it but it was worth the fight as long as they knew it was the right thing to do. Eventually they started going down, a mansion-like building could be seen right in front of them. Groaning once they touched the ground as it wasn’t as smooth as Nalug had wanted it to be. Luckily it didn’t rip anything else open so he was good to go for just a little bit longer. The glares they received from these strangers were nothing new. He had seen them constantly when they were imprisoned by those good for nothing people. They were worse though than the people standing here as it was only normal to be wary of an outsider like Valentyne. Sliding from his dragon, patting Nalug when his feet touched the ground before walking to Tobias. “I’ll be alright for now. You bandaged it pretty well after all.” He answered with a low, non-threatening voice. He was too tired to even become intimidating to the other. Plus it wasn’t in his nature to be mean to people he didn’t think of as his enemy. Tobias included. The male didn’t seem like he would harm anyone innocent or without a will to cause chaos in this town, he appreciated that but there was still this sense of caution he had to take in account. “Quite a big house you have.” He commented, trying to have a more friendly conversation with the man as he walked inside of the building, being guided by Tobias.
