alexia__
I recommend "Faith" also under the name "The Great Doctor". It has its sad moments and if you deeply analyze it , it will break your heart. Its an Asian drama ( i want to say Korean but i'm no too sure) anyway you don't even have to be into medical stuff because its mostly super awesome fights, crazy love, and many tears. totallynotinnocent
I recommend the movie "Koizora". I still feel my heart ache whenever I think about it. For non-romance, I'd say "Miracle In Cell No. 7".

LaBlue
If you have more time on your hands, try to watch Bridge to Terabithia. Trust me, you will cry like the child you are. Totally agreed. This is so sad. I could also recommend: Hachiko (about a dog who keeps waiting for his owner at a train station each day even years after his death. Based on a true story) Eight below (about a man who has to leave his pack of huskies behind when he needs to abandon his research station in Antarctica and the dogs struggle months and months to survive, hoping he will come back) War Horse (about a boy and his horse who get separated by war and find each other again years later, both broken) See I'm totally into animals here... could name a lot more... Demonic_Cultivator
By far, one of the most depressing films I have ever seen is "Sleepers". It's a 1996 legal crime drama film. It's one of those movies that are really great, but can't watch a second time. It's about 4 childhood friends that end up being sent to Juvie after the accidental death of man from a prank they pulled. They were repeatedly raped and abused while in the system and it's just terrible. When they grow up, they decide to get revenge on the men that hurt them. The reality of this movie is sad. Another sad film is "Jet Boy". It's about this teenage boy that prostitutes himself for money, but meets a father figure in a man that refuses to sleep with him. I felt bad for the kid, but it had a happy ending. And then there's "Sometimes they come back". A 1991 horror film based on a short story by Stephen King. It's not exactly drama, but the relationship with the main character and his brother (who died before the start of the film) was sad. Enjoy!
