Although Nitta was already a fan of manga, she was introduced to yaoi manga when she was in grade five, by an older girl who was her neighbour. Her first manga story, "GROUPIE", was published by Biblos in 1997. She believes in characters not always having to be the seme or uke, and her Embracing Love has been called the first title available with a "reversible" couple in English. In 2008 it was reported that Nitta had infringed upon the copyright of advertising photographs by tracing them for illustrations in her manga Embracing Love; she subsequently apologized for the misuse, as did her publisher. Nitta attended the 2002 Yaoi-Con and the 2006 New York Comic Con but cancelled her planned appearance at the 2008 Yaoi-Con in the aftermath of the tracing scandal.[from Wikipedia] Her illustration debut was in 1994, in 小説Charade. She is one of the few Boys' Love manga-ka whose works are enjoyed by both straight women (the main target audience) and gay men. Her manga debut was Be-Boy's 1995 release of "Groupie." Recently she temporarily quit writing manga after a scandal involving her plagiarism of many magazine photographs. A specially the Haru wo Daite Ita - Embracing Love well know to almost every one... I thinks her manga is more reallystic then other BL manga... I am not trying to make Youka Nitta as copy cat or any thing... I just want people to know every one need some help... Even it looks like each other but still it is hard to draw that into manga... Which is your favorite book by her? It is hard to pick one... I do love Haru Wo Daite Ita for the story line and all the realistic facter... And how she put the life of two actor not only for their work for there personal life view... Also, all the other character go with together with Katou and Iwaki-san... I like Umaimon Kuwasero!... I love cooking so any thing with that I will go for... Also, the two main characters story line was beautifuly done... ^^ Boku no Koe... the life of voice actors bring my tension and it was interesting... ^^ Un Carnet de Bal... Just love it... I just love everything about it... His Excellency the Foreign Minister's Secrets... Well main characters looks are just like Katou and Iwaki-san... Also the story line was o.k... but I just can find the next story... --; When a Man Loves a Man series... This is story of life of Host... I didn't really into it first... Because, it was so sad...
