In no particular order, they're all dear to me:)

 

 

1. Sora O Daite Oyasumi (because perfection cannot be finished)

2. Never Understand/Out of Control (my favorite webtoon ever)

3. Caste Heaven & pretty much ALL of Chise Ogawa (because she is the GODDESS. I want her to draw my life)

4. Totally Captivated ( i mean, that's a classic)

5. 19 Days (i'm not sure how old I will be when it finally ends, but hey, it's worth the wait)

6. Rouge (because it's magic)

7. Bokura no Mitsudomoe Sensou (nothing special, but the art & humor of this mangaka are truly truly dear to me)

8. Evegreen Days (my personal treasure, not sure why I love it so much)

9. Blue Lust (it's simply very very good:D)

10. Complex, Cut, Yowamushi Danshi Renai Hajimemasu, Kyuuso Wa Cheese No Yume O Miru, Jackass, On Doorstep, Ganbare! Nakamura-kun, Lonely to Organdy, Thank you My God (because I'm A CHEATER.. I'm sorry:D)

Konya mo Nemurenai, Aiso Tsukashi & Yume wo Miru Hima mo Nai by the same author, Beast and Feast, Afuresou na Pool, Lover's Position, and I really enjoyed reading Ai ga Kami wo Korosu Toki (though it's not completed yet like most on my list!) I also love to read quite a few manga by Kanzaki Takashi, Fujisaki Kou and Minase Masara

Totally Captivated is delicious haha! I own the spin offs, but I haven't read them yet so maybe now is a good time! And Necratoholic is really fun! Probably not as dark and twisted as you're thinking, but it has it's moments. It's about a vampire and a vamp hunter. Admittedly it's been a while since I've read it, but it's cute :3

you own the spin-offs? that's amazing! (yep, i'm one of those people who doesn't have actual paper manga at all T_T) & you should definitely read them.. they're good, one of them, i Believe actually made me cry & was as emotional as the the actual novel.. the rest were mostly fun smut tho:D:D

One thing I'm surprised to not see on anyone's list is Twittering Birds Never Fly. I've never read his manga, but my friends often recommend it to me and I hear amazing things about it. I'll probably try and read it for the manga challenge. Maybe it'll become my number 10? Haha! I'm waiting in patience to find the perfect manga to fill in that last slot for me XD

! Yeah I remember buying them when they first came out! It's been that long and they're still in the wrapping haha! This gives a good insight into how I read manga... Very slowly haha! Actually, I think it's incredibly popular & I just saw it discussed the other day here..^^ Just for me personally, couldn't keep without it because of so many names O_o (not sure why you and I are discussing the issue of names in so many different threads today:D:D)

 

And no, shame on me, I haven't read Necratoholic yet.. well, to be fair, I haven't read a single manga since then, I think:D:D I will definitely read it again once I'm in the manga-reading mood again! As you can see - you're not the only one who is slow at reading!!

we are talking a lot about names aren't we?! Hahah! Yeah! That's the Japanese name for it. I figured it was super popular, but I guess I missed the talks about it. I need to look into it a little more. So many people have tried to get me to read it, but I just haven't gotten around to it yet. It looks kind of sad too so... I dunno. We'll see XD

 

And no worries! Necratoholic isn't going anywhere haha! So you're doing the BL novel reading challenge then? I don't plan on doing it this year, but maybe if the challenges are annual then I'll try it next year! I could probably manage ^_^

well, officially I'm doing both, how well it will work in practice - not so sure:) I think I've read exactly one manga for the manga challenge so far:D you're right, it's tricky to manage both, but I'm not giving up yet:D so maybe, after you finish the manga challenge, you can try the novel one?

 

I think you will enjoy the "twittering birds never fly" (i've learnt the name xD).. Most people do:D

Here's my top 10, I love them all so dearly

 

1. From Eroica with Love (on the surface it may seem one sided but I'm sure the Major would miss the Earl if he wasn't around)

2. Silver Diamond (the cutest most dynamic foursome since Saiyuki)

3. Yatteraneeze (one of my first bl manga, I adore it so)

4. Koori Mamono no Monogatari (just as adorable as #2)

5. Mirai no Kioku (just about anything by Saika Kunieda really)

6. The Tyrant Who Fell in Love (because Morinaga is a fool and Senpai is a cutie)

7. Fujimi Orchestra (this is a classic, I wish they would illustrate the entire series into manga.)

8. Boy Princess (adorable light-hearted fun)

9. Zankoku na Kami ga Shihai Suru (this one breaks my heart every time I remember it)

10. Boku no Yasashii Oniisan (I love comedy! and this is my first scanlation project, so it has a special place in my heart)

 

That's it off the top of my head. I could probably go down nostalgia lane and come up with another 20+ great titles but these ones will always be with me.
