Dana nodded politely to the compliment and looked out over his yard, stretching up into forestry and then crisp sky. "Yes. Getting away." His tone seemed distant and solemn before a smile quirked on his lips. A nice night for flight. Like usual, his gaze returned to the human and he watched him intently. When the other man looked his way, he met his gaze boldly. Their eyes stayed look and that sensation tickled across his skin ahead. The human broke it off-- a passive gesture that deeply intrigued the harpy but he didn't comment. Instead, he watched for a few seconds longer before making the barest twitch of movement, looking back towards the bushes and trees.

Alexander wanted him. And maybe also to be wanted by him. All the signs were there-- it was up to them when it came to actually acting on it. On the mountains, two tense future-partners would spar until the closeness forced a resolution. Village elders used to lock up randy potentials in pairs or small groups and let the events fold out as need be. The raw desire would swell to heights unknown and burst in one all-encompassing moment. It was a waiting game. It was theirs to control. Dana did well with things he could control and in this situation, he had an idea of how to conduct himself.

"I'm alright with small. I'm accustomed to huts," he replied smoothly. But the seed was planted and took well to its dirt; Alexander seemed open to the idea. It barely took an inch of convincing. He smiled in response to the wink aimed at him before watching the man get to his feet. Again, Dana traced the muscles tensing underneath clothes, the slight quivering and slow sag once the man relaxed. The questions that came from that were interesting ones to answer. They also immediately saw Dana's plate clean the second Alexander glanced away, the only hint that food had been there being the harpy patting his lips dry. His chest swelled and his shoulders raised as he murmured an 'excuse me'-- he must have burped. Looking back at Alexander, he shook his head. "I wouldn't be opposed to that at all. It isn't that forward."

This time he was the one that rose from his seat, recovering the multiple dishes. "Let's go inside then." Dana collected the other man's plate as well as his own, going to the door. The light from inside framed him just so, outlined in thin light as he looked back at the other, eyes glittering as he nodded for him to follow.

Once inside, Dana placed their things in the sink and washed them quickly. The food wasn't sticky and was wiped away easily. It was quickly done and efficiently dried. Once Alexander entered, Dana was at the liquor cabinet near the kitchen, turning to him with a bottle of rum gripped in one hand and a suggestive smile on his lips, eyebrow quirked. "Would this be suitable? It might be a little on the lighter side for heaviness, if you want anything stronger."

Alexander watched as the harpy stood, gathering dishes. He wanted to help but sadly there wasn’t enough to really help with and the harpy was a little too quick for him. He followed after the harpy, welcoming the indoors like a lover. He rolled his shoulders slightly shutting the door behind him as he left. He then followed Dana to the kitchen, smiling lightly as he noticed the sure signs of someone living here. Some of Dana’s things looked a little sterile but you couldn’t hide a hungry tummy.

By the time he had found his way there Dana was already done cleaning the dishes and was reaching up into the liquor cabinet. He couldn’t help a smile on his lips nd he rolled his eyes, “Alright alright, we shouldn’t get too fucked up so I guess rum will work.” He chuckled and crossed the kitchen, stepping a little close to Dana he lightly grabbed the bottle from him, turning it around in his hands a moment. He then set it on the counter and smiled a little, “After your measurements we can have something a little stronger. Don’t think you want me trashed while I’m doing that.” He looked over to Dana, waiting patiently for him.

“If you want to make us some drinks I’ll go set up my stuff in the living room, we can take your measurements, talk about the styles, then be good for the night.” He lightly tapped the counter with his knuckles before he smiled and waved. “I’ll try and be fast, seems you’re way faster than I am about everything. Don’t forget…you’ll have to strip for me. Hope that’s alright.” He waved a hand behind him and left the room heading back to his bags from work and pulling them to the sitting room. He unzipped the bag and pulled out his sketchbook, pencils, measuring tape, and the other essentials he would need. He set them all aside and then waited for Dana to finish up in the kitchen while he sat getting his things together. He hoped he didn’t mind him not helping there just wasn’t much to do other than watch Dana pour the rum into some glasses. There wasn’t much more he could do or say about that to make the task lighter on the harpy.

Their proximity was charging the air again. He used to think humans played dumb when they denied their attractions, but olfactory senses were obviously not a strong suit. Dana relinquished the bottle easily, eyes on the closeness of their hands before they trailed up the other man’s arm, settling on his neck, his lips when they smiled, then finally his eyes when they turned back to him. “Are you implying that you don’t hold liquor well, or that you’ll be holding all the liquor possible?” It was a light tease, although his tone of voice barely changed. “I’ll make sure to break out the ‘heavy weights’ I think they’re called.”

As Alexander was moving to go, Dana had obviously already began preparing their drinks for the night. He nodded once in understanding then twice more at a particularly smoothe poor on his part. The small reminder seemed unnecessary and innocuous. Dana was smarter to believe that. If Alexander was mentioning it, then it must have been something to think about, something he hadn’t been thinking about. Something the human obviously had been. Enough to the point of alerting him.

Dana felt absolutely predatory by now. If Alexander could be any more obvious, they’d already be doing different measurements, more thorough calculations.

He walked to the sitting room with a delicately plated bottle of rum and two beautiful glasses filled, seating the silver dish on the coffee table. Without a slight hesitation, the man began to strip. Casual clothes were easy for coming off, much easier. As he shed his sweater, skin was fully exposed-- the day’s slightly transparent black shirt had shown a brief peek at his overall body. Dana was smoothe through and through, divots around his chest, throat, and wrists like pebbled skin to indicate where his plumage would have been. His entire body was lean and filled with angles, barely any curves except the sharp lines where his waist tapered and hips began. More and more skin was exposed as he pulled his pants off a leg at a time, with a sheer pair of briefs to contain him. Strong, prominent claves, muscled thighs, and feet that had skin that looked more serated than pebbled-- due to the claws.

The last thing Dana did was let his hair down, letting the tresses free as he folded his clothes up neatly to place on the floor. "Is this suitable?" Looking at the human, Dana was able to suppress the self-satisfied smirk that wanted to curl on his lips.

Alexander was more than happy for the little teasing that came from Dana. It was rather cute and he couldn’t hold back a soft smile appearing on his lips. He tilted his head slightly and listened carefully before explaining to him about the drinks and going to the sitting room. He had also realized the closer and closer proximities they were taking. How every hour they seemed to sit closer, hold each others gaze longer, even talk about less business related things. Alexander saw it as the two of them getting to know each other and becoming comfortable with each other.

He set up his things rather quickly. The tape measure was in hand and pins were sticking into the neck of his shirt in case he needed them to help pin fabric to try a look or what not. He shifted slightly peering around the room before slightly moving one of the tables so they had more room. He was a little too busy to hear Dana walk in, his mind teeming with an idea for an outfit. His eyebrows were terse in thought and his index finger lightly tapped his bottom lip as he stared at the new empty spot. The others words pulled him from his stupor and he blinked a few times before turning to face Dana.

He should have known based off of the others words what would be waiting for him but he was still taken aback. His eyes widened slightly and he quickly collected himself. He lightly grabbed the measuring tape and he walked over to Dana with a smile. “Yes, this will work fine. Can you just…” he lightly let his fingers guide Dana to the empty area he had made and turned and walked so he was infront of him. He peered down at Dana, their bodies rather close to one another. After a moment he sighed, “You know, as much as must people think your kind are…not the easiest on the eyes I think you’re flawless.” He winked and grabbed the tape before crouching infront of Dana. “Now, lift your arms up at your sides, you know the drill I’m sure. Could you part your legs for me?” he asked shifting slightly, a new demeanor coming over him that had not been previously seen.

Business, well rather fashion, was his passion and it was easy to tell. He measured Dana’s outer legs and thighs before moving his hands, those fingers lightly brushing over Dana’s skin and measured his inseam. His fingers lightly brushed against Dana’s inner thigh, trailing down with the measuring tape to the others feet. In this moment though there was nothing sexual about it for Alexander. He was on the clock to him and he was focused on remembering the measurements to write them down when he was finished. That of course didn’t mean anything, he still was enjoying the sight, the touch, everything about Dana. The closest they had been the entire time they had known one another.

It was a nice change to say the least.

What a charming man. His expression looked positively focused and concerned with the future. Dana liked seeing someone so passionate about their occupation that they looked cross just from being in their thoughts. It was a shrewd look that made the man think to himself that yes, he was making a correct choice. Few experiences didn't mean a refined palette and Dana only took a shine to the best if he was absolutely sure they'd be the best. Alexander was proving himself more and more through the little things that kept stacking up. Standing and staring at the man's position at the ground, he smoothed his smirk down into merely a thinned as the other's attention pivoted to him.

A new expression which pleased him. Although he would have liked a flush to the cheeks, the human's open appreciation made something rattle in his brain and smoothe into heat as it traveled through his nerves. It was, perhaps, what cats felt when they wanted to purr. Even more so when Alexander led him to the spot that had been taking up his attention before. Dana went without a word and stood still for the other's inspection. Their height difference was slightly more emphasized with their closeness. He wanted to reach out and pull Alexander flush to him-- but there was a process that needed to happen. An energy was swarming his body and though harpies were different from humans, there were some things that couldn't be denied, even to the lessened senses of another race. They called it "chemistry"-- a neurochemical reaction that made certain things very obvious.

Pushing himself against Alexander was out of the question, even if he desired it. Alexander liked fashion, he liked designing. Interrupting one's passion and business for another business of passion would be disruptive; there would be a split path where someone could easily choose 'no I can't do this because this is my job' rather than the 'gogogo.'

Slow and steady. Even as the heat pooled in him again at Alexander's words and breath, the human's sigh fanning his over-sensitive receptors with their closeness. He allowed himself to smile again. "Different aesthetics. People are used to none such forms like this; I appreciate your appreciation, and extend it your way as well," the man answered in a measured tone.

Dana obeyed the instructions with ease, arms up and legs parted. Staring at Alexander proved difficult. Down at his feet-- that image, that phrase, kept circulating his head. It went up a pitch as the touching continued. Light brushes were the most tempting when it came to contact. And while his collaborator may have been playing a straight game, he himself could not help but feel a flush building at the softness and closeness of these particular interactions. Especially his thighs. Any shudder was suppressed as the tickling sensations lingered from where Alex touched him.

But Dana remained still and quiet throughout, only speaking up a good time into the process. "I can remember the numbers you're taking down, if it's of less of a burden." He was still looking down, partially enchanted by his own gutter-thoughts, but enough of a stoic that his voice didn't show it (and his body thankfully followed suit.) "Those who have taken my measurements before spoke them aloud to help them memorise-- it would not bother me."

Alexander was just finishing the in-seam when he heard Dana’s voice from above. He couldn’t help but smile as he peered up at him for a moment. “Thank you. I appreciate it but I’ve been doing this for a long time. I’ll remember.” He winked up at him playfully before letting his hands continue their work.

Before too long Alexander had finished with his lower half and stood, wrapping his arms around Dana for a moment in order to grab the other end of the measuring tape from behind his back. He felt their chests touch a moment before he took a step back and leaned down slightly reading the waist measurement he had gotten from it. His hands quickly dropped the tape and shifted, lightly moving Dana to the position he wanted him in to measure his chest and arms.

His fingers lightly trailed along Dana’s chest, lingering slightly on the skin before continuing his work. He would be lying if he said he could ignore every little thought going through his head. He also could not deny that there was something between the two of them that was different than anything he had ever felt before. The feeling was warm…sometimes even hot and it sort of terrified him. Dana was not human…and a relationship with someone like him would tarnish both of their reputations. Then again a little part in his mind didn’t care what other people thought.

Then another part in his head kicked himself for even thinking the thought because Dana did not like him like that…right? His eyes flicked up to Dana’s face for a moment before he straightened his back and sighed. He pulled the pen out from behind his ear and started writing down the measurements he had gotten. “Alright you can put on your clothes if you like. I’m finished with the measurements and it gives me an idea of how much cloth I’ll be working with.” He sat the pencil down after a few moments of scribbling on it and smiled to Dana. “Thank you for doing that for me. I know being nude around a stranger probably isn’t your favorite thing to do.” He chuckled gently and stood, a hand absently grabbing the glass of dark liquor on the table. He walked to the pile of clothing Dana had discarded and picked them up. He took a drink as his feet guided him across the floor to where Dana was standing and he gently held it out for him.

“Here…I would hate for you to feel uncomfortable around me.” He spoke softly, and gently, with no real need to be loud or forceful being so close to Dana. Then again, it was probably because a little piece of him didn’t want to be pulled away from Dana. A small part of him wanted to stand as close to him as he could, to feel his breath against his face and to just…touch him. Then again he knew they were still in a professional relationship with one another and that was impossible. So instead he would just have to be fine with small touches and simple exchanges of words between the two of them.

Those damned winks. It was cheek perfected. If Dana allowed himself to dwell on it anymore, his thoughts would only further complicate him controlling himself. Instead, he took another path of action and just smiled back in that small little way and nodded shortly. "Understood. I do not doubt you," he replied before quieting once again and just watching the human at work.

Ah, this... was harder than he thought it would be. No pun intended-- thankfully there was no other 'hard' in the equation besides staying calm. His stomach was clenching on the inside and what Dana wanted to do was give into his inner-most nature. Pin Alex down. Ravish him and make him say his name as many times as possible. Date.

But that's not how things worked. That's not how he would allow them to work. He just stayed calm, kept himself tapered down, and focused on other things besides the slight height difference, beside the man's essence, his scent, beside the quickest contact between them.

He could feel his breath momentarily stutter. Watching the human at work, his eyes followed strong fingers and wondered about Alexander's feelings again. He must be restraining himself, too-- perhaps not as much as Dana himself. No bare instincts to tackle and grind and bite and salivate over. But if the other ma had been thinking that, god. Imagine the fight... Dana would obviously win but the thrill of the fight; adrenaline made everything that much more intense and goodness, would Alex smell delicious. No, bad thoughts, bad thoughts-- he's thinking too much, he's going deep. Make it stop. It was now ended.

Just in time, too. His eyes snagged his companion's gaze, and watched as it dropped-- submissively, nearly. Instincts lurched up again (he could almost feel the noise starting to build up in his throat) but were definitely swallowed as he just smiled. If they were going to continue this charade, Dana could act near flawlessly. Giving another short nod, the harpy leaned to pick up the glass he'd bought for himself and sipped. At the thanks, Dana shook his head and shrugged flippantly. "You are hardly a stranger, Alexander. We know one another's naked name; we could practically be considered close friends," the man replied smoothly. As he drank, Dana watched him walk, eyes on his ass, following his back, watching him bend to pick up that pile of folded clothes he'd done oh so neatly.

Subservient? Had to be. Who just did that for people when they were guests in another's home unless they were used to expressing themselves in such submissive little ways.

Putting the analysis aside, Dana took the clothes without a word at first, only after swallowing one last drink of his glass. "You needn't bother yourself with petty thoughts like that." Dana unfolded his pants and pulled them on, pulling his head through the sweater and fitting his arms through. Hair slightly ruffled, the harpy looked at his companion with undisguised emotion, interest flickering in the smallest twitch of his smile, lidded eyes staring at Alexander with sultry intent. But like most emotions, they were smoothed out of Dana's features as he pat his hair back into place then placed a hand on Alexander's arm, the other hand offering the man his glass again.

"I'll top off your drink then we shall entertain ourselves briefly. I don't know if you enjoy television or music or... games. I have novelty ones from a friend of mine," he said with the same close and confidential tone.

Alexander was finished before he knew it and was handing Dana his clothing. It was hard enough dealing with him naked, let alone keeping himself in check while he was doing measurements. Part of him wanted to run a hand down Dana’s leg, wondering if the other being would react to his touch. Another part of him wanted to keep this as professional as possible, knowing all too well how messed up this could get if they happened to sleep with one another tonight.

His mind perked up but didn’t get to think much on the though for he watched Dana dress, pretty shamefully honestly. Once Dana was finished his hair was sticking up all over and Alexander couldn’t help but to think it was adorable. He tilted his head lightly only to be offered his own drink once more. Alexander also did not forget the soft yet possessive hand on his arm. He could have sworn he caught a lustful glance from Dana as well but maybe that was all in his mind.

Alexander leaned forward slightly, taking the glass from Dana. “I don’t really mind how we pass the time.” He stepped in a little closer, their bodies sharing the same warmth now. Their faces were close enough Alex could feel the others air against his neck line. He leaned forward and gently pushed a strand of hair from Dana’s unkempt hair. “You know a game might not be so bad. Who knows? Maybe it will be a lot of fun.” His body language shifted pretty quick however, realizing how close he was he took a step back and rubbed the back of his neck.

“Want me to top off the drinks this time?” he asked and held out a hand for Dana’s glass. “I would feel bad if you were the only one waiting on me.” He chuckled and downed the last of his own glass. He felt warm, like the liquor had given him some balls and he wasn’t afraid of flirting with Dana anymore. Let alone being afraid of what might happen if they drank even more tonight. He honestly wanted to know what could happen if they let themselves go.

Alexander honestly thought that if they got drunk that Dana would not be down to sleep together. Then again there was a ton of chemistry between the two of them. Alexander might have stepped away but the warmth of the others hand still rested on his arm and he couldn’t help but miss its feeling there.

He wondered what position the roles would end up in. Dana didn’t look like a very dominate person but something inside of Alexander told him that maybe Dana did not want to be the bottom. ‘Pfft, wouldn’t that be weird? Me a bottom?’ he shook his head as the thoughts rang through is mind. Then again maybe he was a bottom and Alexander could make him scream out his name in ecstasy. Even that idea made him want to laugh. He was having an internal conversation right infront of the man he was fantasizing about. He had to pull his mind out of the gutter or he was going to get slapped. Not like Dana wanted to make out with him right? Or even worse sleep with him…right?

They would fit well together.

Alexander looked like a good pull on his shirt would send him, if he were in a state to be molded, leaning downward. Taking over his mouth wouldn't be difficult. Briefly, Dana toyed with the reverse; his chin cradled between two fingers and being reeled into a strong and bold joining. It was slightly preposterous. He’d never had thoughts like that pertaining others and certainly never toyed with living out something into reality. As quickly as it occurred to him, the harpy had banished the pesky thing and merely smiled more at their increased closeness.

Receptors were buzzing like crazy but he had grown from his culture. Although adrenaline wanted to flood him into a mounting frenzy, he kept his composure. But his cheeks did flush-- it was hardly something he could stop at this point.

The effect was breath fogged on glass. It was light, inappropriately suited for his darker skin. The reddish-pink smoky spots came slowly as he stayed still under Alexander’s contact. His ear buzzed from where the man’s hand briefly grazed it. He stared at him with an unreadable smile and hooded eyes and flushed cheeks, still watching as his companion took a hasty retreat.

He had him.

Dana was very involved in relinquishing his glass. Following Alexander’s step back with a mirrored step forward- slower, less jumpy- he put a had over the outstretched one and pressed the glass into the taller man’s waiting palm. “What a gentleman.” As the other handled the drinks, Dana turned and began to make his way to one of the sitting cubes in the seating area. Pulling off the top revealed it to be a handy storage ottoman, apparently very sturdy because of how many games seemed to be packed into it. “I have board games. Trivia… 20 and more question games… Board affairs-- I was gifted one of those antique gams, “Scrabble”?” The man listed the things he came across off, then turning his head back to glance at his partner for the evening. Smile still smoldering, he shrugged. “It’s your pick of the draw.”

These games did delight him in a weird way. Testing his resistance, it was a patience-involved task that could lead to being vexing. But he wasn’t vexed yet. It made him lick his lips.

Alexander felt a little shocked he had gotten so close to Dana. Maybe he was feeling the booze more than he had thought? He didn’t know but he stepped away only to find Dana following him. His outstretched hand was covered by Dana’s and Alex couldn’t help but let his eyes follow the harpy. He was so intoxicatingly beautiful that Alexander just wanted to hold him. He blinked a few times as Dana walked past him. He smiled lightly as he realized this felt sort of like a game. Alexander had stepped in close so Dana had too, trying his hardest to throw Alexander for a loop.

He took the glass and smiled a little walking to the little bar and pouring their glasses full. He came back quickly enough and sat Dana’s glass down on the coffee table. “Hm…20 questions or scrabble sound like they don’t take a lot of effort. Sadly I’m tipsy and I think anything much more complicating I may just hand you a victory.” He chuckled softly and sat his own drink down before sitting on the edge of the couch. He didn’t care what game they played long as they were together. Wasn’t that so strange?

He smiled a little and tilted his head, “Maybe we could play both? I mean you have somewhere to be tomorrow? I sure don’t. I mean…I do but it doesn’t have to matter if I don’t want it too. Being freelance is sometimes awesome…pays shit but hey.” He shrugged and picked up his glass taking a swig from it. The truth was he was already feeling the liquor and that was a problem. It was stronger than he had imagined but that was fine. He was tipsy, not drunk, he could still function without being too wild. After all he had to keep his composure or this entire thing with Dana would be shot. It felt very delicate to him, like he was courting some complicated animal. Which in all reality he sort of was…

Alexander was close to him again, Dana kneeled at the ottoman as the other man sat their newly refreshed glasses on the coffee table. He'd made a grumbling noise that was one of his chuckles, the sound ending in a warm hum as he idly read the instructions for both games. "I will have to agree that minimal effort provides maximum enjoyment in this case," the harpy agreed before huffing. "This case. Heh. it's a case." His own accidental pun left the harpy with squinted eyes and an almost-smile before looking back up at Alexander. The man's words interested him. It was almost as if his motivations were inclined toward spending time with Dana.

This would be followed up on. Dana returned the other's smile with a rueful expression of his own. "You are entirely correct in that matter, Alexander," he replied. Though his voice got hushed as the sight absorbed him. It was a horrible sight.

Coarse as it were, having a relaxed, drinking Alex looking down at him with that warm, warm smile of his had Dana feel absolutely alight. His breathing startled only for the briefest second before he regained his composure and shuffled forward to test things even more. To see if this image could entice someone like Alexander (which was idiotic to seek favour and appreciation from some human man because Dana knew how gorgeous and fearsome he could be but there were so few to ever see him like this, to make him want to be seen like this) like the harpy himself felt enticed.

Setting the two games on the couch, he rested his cheek against the plush furniture before getting up some so he could sink into the comfort. Taking his glass, Dana opened the box of 20 Questions with his free one, swallowing before speaking, "You'll have to assist with your understanding." Further explaining, the harpy pulled out a thick stack of cards-- not the entire deck but enough for two players surely. "I've not played many of these games. And they are used; the instructions are gone."

Eyes flicking up to the man just inches across next to him, their bodies barely separated by the small cardboard box, he put the lid back on the game and set the cards on the leveled cardboard. "Would you like to pick first, Alexander?"

Alexander was glad that Dana agreed that a game that was fun yet easy was probably the best bet for both of them. Drinking and hard games just didn’t mix very well and usually ended with no one playing it at all. He smiled lightly when the other man agreed and he couldn’t help but chuckle as Dana made his own pun. He was cute, laughing at his own joke. In that moment Alexander realized he wanted to kiss him…

His smile faultered a little as the thought ran into his mind and he quickly let it escape him as he listened to Dana. He couldn’t help but scoot a little closer to him. It was even cuter that Dana didn’t know how to play the games. He thought it was rather cute how he asked for help and wanted to play the game. It might have been the alcohol talking or the feelings growing in his chest but he couldn’t help but reach forward and moved the lid of the box a bit away from them.

His body quickly shifted to face Dana as he sat the cup back down on the table. He smiled gently as he settled back down seeing Dana peering up at him. They were sitting very close, their bodies right next to one another. There was a sliver of couch between them but even that seemed to be shrinking. Alex moved a hand up to gently caress Dana’s cheek. “Alright, I’ll go first. The question I have for you is not on any card though.” He chuckled softly and felt himself leaning into Dana slightly. “Would you be opposed to letting a human kiss you?” he asked his eyes flicking down to meet Dana’s lips before returning to his eyes. Their faces were only inches apart now, their breath sharing the same space as Alexander drank him in basically.

Oh.

The shift was tiny, almost imperceptible. He felt like he could pinpoint the exact point that the momentum shifted into some sort of easy and tingly moment. Momentarily they were suspended in the limbo of recognising mutual desire. Dana made sure to keep himself still and steady. Feigning calmness as he had been throughout the evening, anticipation started to tickle his organs and left him feeling horribly empty and aching. Golden eyes landed on the man next to him-- now facing him. Alexander looked gorgeous in the soft diffused light of his home.

A lesser man would have blushed, abashed at being caught staring so openly. But Dana was made of bolder stuff. Their chemistry was finally beginning to react, a chain of little things setting into motion the fizzing affection that culminated in a hand on his cheek. To think Alexander would make the first official show of something beyond the platonic.

Pleasure had him dizzy. The harpy nearly mirrored his human’s other movements, leaning closer, tasting the close but distant essence of the other. Lips curled into a small smile, Dana’s hand snaked over Alexander’s thigh as he lightly licked his teeth. “I would have to answer no,” he replied, voice hushed as he leaned forward to graze their lips together. “Theoretically, of course. Let’s put it into practice.” With something short of a growl, he leaned forward and closed the distance between them soundly, mouth working across Alexander’s as his grip on the other’s thigh tightened.

He was a commanding kisser, nearly delving into tongue right there and then. Just barely did Dana stop, breaking the kiss almost as soon as it had begun even with the amount of energy he’d put into it. Although his expression was composed, his eyes were glowing, pupils slightly shrunk to expose the flurry of emotions and lust overtaking his mind. “I can now answer, firmly, no.”

Alexander felt his heart stop in his chest. Those golden eyes were on him, watching him closely, calculating his every move. He felt like he was a test subject under a microscope. Dana was intense to say the least but Alexander enjoyed the challenge, the excitement, and the passion that Dana showed. His question lingered in the air as he felt Dana move closer to him. A hand snaked over his thigh and Alexander could feel goosebumps travel across his skin.

Alexander couldn’t help but smile lightly as he heard the answer no from Dana’s lips. To make things more interesting he felt Dana lean closer, closing the distance between them briefly to brush their lips against one another. Alexander wanted to push himself against Dana and kiss him right then and there but the harpy pulled away to speak again. What he said threw Alexander off guard and when he heard the growl he didn’t flinch or pull away. Instead he leaned forward and met Dana’s lips along the way.

Alexander’s hand shifted easily, sliding into Dana’s hair and pulling him closer still. He wanted more, but sadly the kiss was over way faster than what he wanted. His eyes opened and he peered into those golden orbs. A smile softly covered his features and he laughed softly. “Well I guess it’s good you tried it out then right? You sure you don’t need any more confirmation?” He winked at Dana, letting his thumb gently brush the others cheek. Dana was beautiful. His body was gorgeous and Alexander’s job made it so he could see it way sooner than he thought he would. Then again the harpy didn’t seem to mind nudity.

It wasn’t just his body though. His entire personality was beautiful to Alexander and he wanted to know everything about him. His eyes were the most captivating though. Even as Alexander cracked a joke he couldn’t get over the lust and want he himself was feeling. He could see it mirrored in Dana’s own eyes, his pupils shrunk and seeming to glow in the dim light of his home. He wanted to kiss him again, wanted to push him onto the couch and show him exactly what he was thinking. He didn’t know if that was something Dana would be too excited about though.

Dana’s expression grew coy and he lightly squeezed the man’s thigh again. “If I have any doubts, I will indulge and request a repeat of this initial experiment,” he replied and heard the shuddering of his breath, the warble in his voice, as Alexander’s touch tickled across his skin. He liked that better; words muddied so much. Now that his mind was free to interpret the proceedings, it rewound and enhanced specific moments.

It would stay with him for a while. If Alexander was to suddenly be revealed as a mass of mice stacked into a speaking human form, and scurry away, Dana would be left to circulate the memories of such a kiss (maybe after giving into traditional standards and having a rat roast.)

Standout would have to go to the ease of their kiss, the way it felt natural. Other moments would include the human’s hand in his hair and how right it felt there; the tug forward-- more of a press, as the pressure briefly increased, and he leaned further into their lock; Alexander’s body, inclined everso his way.

That was interesting. How willing and receptive, expected, but the feigned eagerness? He didn’t know what to call it but it was something. Something of interest. Thoughts balancing just barely, the harpy felt his gaze flicker away from the man next to him, overtaken with a sudden rush of heat. He was dwelling. It was no use to dwell.

Instead he opted to put on another coy glance, fingers drumming their way across Alexander’s skin with little hesitation. “I can ask you a question not included in the cards, then, if only for a fair exchange.” He eased himself closer, gently nosing at the human’s neck, lips lightly brushing against the skin in a teasing action. “Have you ever been to bed with a harpy?” Dana asked quietly, only backing up slightly to give Dana a significant look from underneath eyelashes.

Alexander waited patiently for Dana to answer his question. He felt another squeeze to his thigh, bringing a smile to his face as he looked down at Dana. He was given the reply that if there were any more doubts that the harpy was planning to redo the experiment and try it again. After he spoke though Dana got quiet. Seemed to be sucked into his own mind as Alexander peered down at his upturned face. He waited patiently for what he was hoping was a reply he was expecting. His eyes lingered on Dana's collarbones, remembering all too well how beautiful the harpy was completely nude. He wouldn't mind seeing such a form once more. He had never slept with a harpy before, hell, he had never slept with anything other than a human but he didn't think that had to stop them here.

Dana also asked him if he could ask him a question not on the cards. Alexander simply nodded and welcomed a question from the harpy. The question was accompanied by a nuzzle to his neck, soft lips lightly brushing against the skin there. Alex could feel warmth spreading across his body, itching toward his lower abdomen. "Ah...no, I have never been to bed with a harpy but I am not opposed to trying it." He spoke lowly, his voice dripping with want for the other. He tilted his head, gently running his hand down Dana's side. His other hand lightly tilted the harpies face up to him, as he leaned down closing the gap between them.

Their lips connected and he felt a sigh escape him. He gently pulled Dana closer to him, guiding his body to fit in the small opening between them. Alexander's tongue flicked over the others bottom lip, teasing him. That was, until he gently nudged his way into his mouth. Their tongues started to wrestle. Dana being the more aggressive one won out and Alex just let their tongue mingle with one another. By the time he pulled away he was panting softly, and he wanted Dana. "Could we have another experiment to see just how going to bed with a harpy would feel like?" He asked with a playful look in his eyes. They were technically still playing a game after all. The booze was making him confident, more open to kissing Dana and even sleeping with him. Otherwise he would have let his buisiness as Dana's designer get in the way of actions such as these.

These little teasing answers he enjoyed.

He also liked the way Alexander’s skin pebbled then soothed in reaction to his touch, his kiss. He was fascinated with the human dermis. It was as talkative as chemicals in the air or facial twitches. Humming at the dip in volume, the human’s voice rumbled across his own skin pleasantly. Dana made an answering hum and felt his face directed to gaze up at the other againn. Soon, his lips were taken in a kiss- one he hadn’t been expecting. The mini-episode of shock was canceled and quickly replaced with a feverish return of affection.

Dan’s leg nudged between the other man’s, body half draped, half tucked in the human’s lap as they kissed. His mind, typically analytical, fell flat into a spreading desire to mount and claim and touch and be touched. Vibrations built in the back of his throat as he claimed the other’s mouth. Dana’s hand came up and cradled Alexander’s, grip light but anchored and once they finally pulled away, his touched remained there. He licked his lips and nodded.

“Practical application is always needed for testing theories,” he murmured before pulling back in the almost entire sense. With Dana’s shift of position came a shift in appearance, reverting back to the smoldering eyed, sure beauty he was, ever confident and certain. “I hear it is important to stretch before acts of physical exertion, Alexander,” the harpy said with a glint in his eye that gave the fire behind his cool skinned appearance. The glow of his eyes seemed heightened in the living room’s warm light. “Perhaps investing in someone would be most good. This will be, afterall, a very thorough examination and answer to the very important questions we’ve discussed.”

Smile small, the harpy beckoned for Alexander to follow and led him up those large stairs, down the hall, to the master bedroom. It was as clean as he left it and Dana tapped the light console to adjust to something darker for a backdrop. The lamps made up for it, providing enough light to bring out the shimmering ambers and bathe things in the warmth Dana seemed to enjoy. The harpy himself was lighting more incense in his room, hair slipping across his shoulders as he turned his head to look back at the human.

“Get comfortable and loose. It’ll benefit you.” The smile he flashed was predatory, sharp teeth momentarily highlighted by his closeness to the matchstick in hand before he blew it out.
