common actions/lines that appear in many yaoi manga

There are probably many but the one i just wanted to talk about that i see everywhere is the whole food (usually rice) stuck on one of the characters (usually uke) face right next to the lips and the other character (usually seme) licking it off or cleaning it with his finger and then eating it... and then the blushing

 

i seem to see this everywhere

maybe its just my choice in manga...

and the seme patting the uke's head.

i swear...i dunno what in the world does that mean.

personally, i don't like being patted on the head 'cause that will make me feel like i'm a little kid and not to be taken seriously.

i dunno maybe it's a culture thing for them.

 

i mean i don't even do that to kids. i'm a huggy type person.

i only do that head patting to cats and dogs.

 

another thing is the "punishment" thing.

the uke gets "punished" a lot and for even things he's not responsible for.

seme catches uke with another man

uke gets "punished" even if other man didn't do anything remotely smexy to the uke.

but just because.....

uke get's "punished" thoroughly even. XD

 

lots of smoking...especially by the seme.

if both uke and seme smokes...usually that means they're equals.

 

uke with the classic touch phobia.

 

in smexy scenes, seme gets all possessive and keeps warning uke NEVER to show this side of him to ANYONE.

 

we see the bestfriend being either the most supportive or the most possessive or the most evil.

 

wearing glasses is almost always the perfect disguise.

 

almost always the characters are drawn to be very tall and skinny. it's not about who's short...it's usually who got taller.

wild hair versus groomed hair

Something really common is when the uke thinks:"Come to think of it, I really don't know anything about his past" or something like that

most of the things you have mentioned are the things i see as XD cute XD

but for me ; the common line i hate is when the Seme or Uke says to the other (that's none of your business)

i mean, they are in a relationship and still dare to say that -_-

One thing I've noticed recently is the "arm-grab". In manga, sometimes there's the close-up shot of a seme grabbing the uke's arm (sometimes, vice-versa). In anime, that moment happens and my heart kinda jumps, so it's effective to say the least! ^-^

That moment when the Uke see's his Seme with another man or woman. Like the two of them are so intimate---blah blah smiling at each other. Then the Uke misunderstands and always (*but I see rare manga's not in this sitch) walks away from the scene just because of the misunderstanding.

Also a pretty common thing is when the uke refuses to get intimate with the seme, even if he wants it and says he doesn't want to. :hamtaro-005 (21):

One of the thing I notice is the running away (usually the Uke) which make the other force to run after him. If the other guy don't run after him, the running-away guy would be like (wth at lease try to stop me) lol.

 

The 'I'm not worthy enough for you' speech is also pretty popular lol
